1. Geert Wilders has some questions about the Paul Weston arrest.

PVV questions Dutch Foreign Minister about arrest of British politician

Today, Dutch parliamentarians Geert Wilders and Raymond de Roon (both PVV) asked the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs, Frans Timmermans, a number of questions about the arrest of British politician Paul Weston. You can read the questions below:

Parliamentary questions of MPs Raymond de Roon and Geert Wilders (both PVV) to the Minister of Foreign Affairs about the arrest of a British politician for quoting Winston Churchill:

2. Van Rompuy: If The Public Doesn’t Want EU Expansion, ‘We Do It Anyway’

In an interview with De Standaard newspaper, Van Rompuy speaks about his “dreams” that all the Balkan states will join the EU. He calls it an “inspiring thought” that in the long term “the whole of European territory outside Russia” will be tied in some way to the EU.

He admits he does not know if there is public support for such a move, “But we do it anyway.”

Van Rompuy’s comments, released in the midst of the tensions which have followed moves by Brussels to put Ukraine on the path to EU membership, give credence to Putin’s fears that ultimately the EU intends to put its tanks on Russia’s lawn.

3. Confused Nazi-wannabe jailed for 10 years for ambitions to destroy mosques.

(If he knew anything about the Nazis he would have been working with the moques. Islam and Nazis are ideologically aligned and this was openly acknowledged by Hitler in Mien Kampf as well as by modern day muslim leaders pretty much everywhere)

4. U.S. State Dept.: Al-Qaeda affiliates pose growing threat

(I wonder if it was a little too early for Obama to spike the ball on the war on terror)

5. Femen tries unsuccessfully to disrupt a speech y Marine Le Pen

(Its too bad the irony is lost on Femen, that the woman they are protesting, a woman who has a real shot at being elected as the president of one of the most powerful countries in the world, is actually the pinnacle of feminism, while girls running around trying to get attention with bare teats are the pinnacle of bimboism.)

6. Brunei adopts sharia law amid international outcry

CNN) — Brunei has become the first East Asian country to adopt sharia law, despite widespread condemnation from international human rights groups.

The Islamic criminal law is set to include punishments such as flogging, dismemberment and death by stoning for crimes such as rape, adultery and sodomy. The religious laws will operate alongside the existing civil penal code.

During a ceremony Wednesday morning, the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, announced the commencement of the first phase of the sharia-based penal code, according to the government’s official webs

7. Iraq Legalizes Rape of Girls Starting at Age 9

On Tuesday, April 8, Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki’s Shiite-led Iraqi Government placed before his Parliament a bill, strongly supported by Iraqi men, and approved by the governing coalition of Shiites and Sunnis, which will allow men to rape girls even in forced marriages (Iraqi law already allows forced marriages), and which will allow men to divorce any wife who is above the age of nine.

Currently, only females above the age of 18 are permitted to marry (or, it might be more accurate to say, to be married), under Iraqi law. This new law will enable even nine-year-olds to be sold off into “marriage.”

Whereas, technically, women, in the post-invasion Iraq, are allowed to vote and otherwise participate in Iraqi politics, only few do, because the overthrow of the Saddam Hussein Government left the religious authorities in control of family matters; and, so, women who try to participate in politics generally become ostracized. The circumstances for women in Iraq were far better under Saddam’s regime.

Thank you M, EDL Buck, Fjordman, TL and all. More to come and once again, sorry if I lost track of anyone kind enough to take the trouble to send in important material like this. It can get complex at times over here. More to come.
