News items for April 18 2014 – 2

There was a glitch this morning as sort of a hangover of the host company’s issues which blacklisted everyone’s IP from the site including mine.

It should be fixed now. If you are not seeing this, then it is not fixed. If you are seeing this it is not. Sorry for any inconvenience this caused.

1. Hezbollah Terror Plot Against Israelis in Bangkok Foiled

A Hezbollah terror plot against Israeli tourists in Bangkok was foiled, and the investigation is proceeding swiftly, Israel Hayom reports.

Two alleged Hezbollah terrorists were arrested in Thailand; one admitted to planning an attack on Israeli tourists.

The men have been identified as French-Lebanese national Daoud Farhat and Lebanese-Filipino national Youssef Ayad. […]

2. The disappearance of America’s will

(I think Carolyn may be on to something here)

As Gordon Chang noted at a symposium in Los Angeles last month hosted by the David Horowitz Freedom Center, since President Barack Obama entered office in 2009, the Chinese have responded to his overtures of goodwill and appeasement with intensified aggression against the US’s Asian allies and against US warships.

In 2012, China seized the Scarborough Shoal from the Philippines. Washington shrugged its shoulders despite its mutual defense treaty with the Philippines. And so Beijing is striking again, threatening the Second Thomas Shoal, another Philippine possession.

3. Ukraine denies having anything to do with registration orders given to Jewish people.

(This would be the fog of war. Personally I would be tempted to figure out whichever version the New York Times is claims is the case, and then pick the other side as the likely truth.

4. Ebola virus circulating in Guinea is new strain

Guinea has seen 197 cases of laboratory-confirmed or suspect Ebola since the beginning of the year.

The World Health Organization raised the death toll on Thursday to 122 since the start of the year, from a previous figure of 108. Liberia continues to report 13 deaths.

The fatality rate was between 71 and 86 percent in the cases they studied, the researchers wrote.

There is no vaccine or cure for Ebola.

5. Facebook removes my post about Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy

(In case you needed another reason to attempt to delete your Facebook information. Good luck on that if you try by the way)

The following is the egregious text:

“Rancher Bundy should’ve told the feds that those were Mexican cows – who came across the border illegally to seek better grazing opportunities. It was an act of love.”

Thousands of you posted comments and many more shared that message. It’s now gone — blotted out by anonymous redactors.

Thank you Fjordman, Richard and many more. Please  check back later. The day is young and the mosques are still in session.

  1. Hello there…..its me again……Don Laird…….

    @ The Ukraine/Jew Roundup

We are walking down some very familiar streets on this issue, very familiar and I for one, will not abide this, ever.

This, even if it is the product of a sick mind/bad sense of humour/attempt to gain press coverage is so far off the charts as to leave one speechless.

I hope every Jew in North America and Europe is taking notice, with the exception of the Judenrats of course.

I hope those same Jews are buying firearms, stockpiling some ammunition and gathering together to do a little training.

The time for this readiness is now, not yesterday, not maybe tomorrow, not next week, not when these notices start popping up in North America, but now.

Teach your children how to handle a weapon, teach them who their enemies are and teach them to be comfortable with the concept of self-defence and the concept of shoot-to-kill.

    To do otherwise is suicidal.

  2. If you can’t delete your facebook info, you can change it.
Just create some nonsense about jobs you’ve never had and change all your political views to far Left, that way nobody will ever bother you. Make your profile look like a spoof one. In the ‘religious belief’ bit put ufology or tree-worshipper or flying spaghetti monster or something stupid.
In the jobs section put ‘works as a fluffer for NASA astronauts’ or something equally hilarious.
Your friends will think that you’re having a laugh, you’ll come across as a bit of a joker and nobody will take your profile seriously. Change your email address to go to one you never use – just create an account specifically for that purpose.

  3. #2 It is this administration’s will not America, almost everyone I know wants to defend our friends and allies.

#3 Eeyore I think your idea is the best way to find out the truth.

I don’t like to generalize but us Jews are good at one thing. Remembering, recording history and understanding its significance and generally we like to keep the good things happening while ensuring the bad stuff never happens again.

    Well, hello there Donetsk.

This leaflet was distributed to the Jewish citizens of Donetsk, Ukraine and demands the Jews register themselves, their family and their property under penalty of deportation and confiscation of assets. This is happening TODAY. Not 100 years ago.

Let’s go through this article FROM 2014 and find the important historical references that were missed by our friends in Ukraine.

[There’s a funny clip too, but here’s the link to the whole article. It’s good.]

  5. That little glitch on your site this morning illustrates just how simple and quick it would be if the guys who want to get control of the internet ever succeeded in their plans. If, for instance, a UN-sanctioned body ever got control of the domain names – which almost just became possible -,they would be falling over themselves in their rush to start shutting down internet sites, especially ones like “religionofpeace”, or vladtepesblog. As long as the mainstream media kept their mouths shut about it – and you know that they would – the public wouldn’t even really know it was happening. All the “right wing” blogs would be gone without a trace and that would be that. Fox News would do a few pieces on it, but the educated elite would just sniff, “I don’t watch Fox News!” We are within one hair’s-width of a total worldwide clampdown on information…

  6. @ChrisJones….

    Very perceptive.

And that clampdown or blackout of the internet would go hand in hand with a few other things.

Consider the grotesque need for people to publish their most intimate details in public, consider the nature of emails and who has access and keeps as a record, forever, the most intimate personal details of hundreds of millions people.

Then consider all of that in the context of bio-metric identification and a cashless society. The latter is almost here.

Now consider all of that as a world we live in.

We have made Big Brother, we have lustily and blindly forged the shackles we will wear for a 1000 years hence and who are our governments or masters to complain, who are they to trun away from a perfect opportunity to control an entire planet.

    We are bloody fools.

  7. Chris Don you guys have that right, when I first set up an email account everyone said not to use my real name and don’t give out any personal information. That was 16 tears ago, now every email account wants you to tell your entire history on the profile and will make your profile public unless you say no. Big Brother is alive and well and with the cloning of humans we are entering “A Brave New World”.

  8. @Richard,

I lost your email address so I will have to keep digging around.

As for your personal information, I do not want to insult you Richard but if there is one true piece of information on any email account you hold then you deserve exactly what you get.

I strongly suggest you start gathering what you need for at least 4 other alias.

This includes alternative vehicles to drive and a residence to stay at. This has been what smart people have been doing for a few years now.

  9. I know, if you have money enough you can do it easily, with my health problems I would be easy to track just from what the DRs are prescribing so I figure I may as well stay where I know the terrain and have family.
