  1. On the Left we used to talk about “the hierarchy of oppression” 30 years ago. Mark Steyn and Ezra are scratching round looking for the appropriate phrase for this concept.

Still, it’s a fantastic hour of discussion. I wish this duo were on TV for 1 hour every day.

  2. Hello there…….its me again……Don Laird……

The case that Mark Steyn refers to in the latter portion of the show in which a school board and a couple of pervert teachers introduced a few perverted little books was called “Chamberlain V. Surrey School District #36, and it went all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada.

Mark Steyn gets it wrong in that it was primarily a group of outraged East Indian parents who were seething with rage that this perverse filth was being taught to their parents.

I wrote an essay about this issue on the eve of the Bill Whatcott case that was then before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Its a long one but worth the time.

The essay is below the line……..enjoy….and be sure to copy and paste the song link at the end of the essay…….it was a hit from the 70’s!!!!!

“Please hit me and I’ll hit you”!!!!!

Freaking at the Freakers Ball with Canadian Senator Larry W. Campbell…..Yeah!!!

(That glow in the distance????……oh not to worry, that’s just Western Civilization going up in flames….)

Well Ladies and Gentlemen, the Bill Whatcott appeal will soon be heard in the highest court in the land, the Supreme Court of Canada. (AKA: The Socialist Social Engineers Club…..not to be confused with the “Hard Working Burly Locomotive Engineers Club). I am trembling in anticipation……but I wonder, how in the name of all that’s holy did we arrive at this point?

Here you have a man, Bill Whatcott, a man of conviction no less, who simply passes out flyers that are, in their basic form, reflections of reality and truth. The flyers, prolific in their distribution, contained verbatim quotations from gay literature, the Bible and many other contemporary publications. The flyers are, in essence, a man’s sincere belief. They are Bill Whatcott’s objection to the homosexual lifestyle, an objection wrought from truth and fact.

This heinous crime…this horror of horrors, this crime greater than genocide; speaking the truth, came to the attention of Human Rights Commissions across Canada and, as expected, all hell broke loose. Because after all, in Canada, you can’t speak the truth, and reality, well, reality is for fools and criminals.

Well folks…Bill Whatcott was tried and convicted of a hate crime in a Saskatchewan court and, as expected, he appealed the case. And, as expected, and in the immortal words of Gomer Pyle; Surprise!, Surprise!, the conviction was overturned. It seemed as though commonsense ruled the day……and it did…..for a few minutes.

Enter the delicate and easily bruised sensibilities of the Human Rights Commissions. They weren’t going to take the legalization of truth speaking lying down, no sirree, they’ve appealed the case to the SCOC. The hearing is scheduled for October of 2011. But here’s where it gets entertaining…..

Adding color to the proceedings are a host of groups who, claiming intervenor status in this case, have moved in from the Lunatic Fringe to show the world the open and festering wounds they’ve suffered from the ravages of the truth.

Color me surprised!!! but the Indians, no strangers to litigation for profit, are getting in on the action too, seems there aren’t enough roads to block these days…..heading into winter I suppose, road blocking season is pretty much over.

Even the African Legal Clinic is jumping on the band wagon, no pun intended. Oh my, my, my….its going to be quite crowded at Big Bev’s House of Social Engineering in October.

Of course I am somewhat optimistic that there will be an element of commonsense in the adjudication of the Whatcott case, several groups were denied their application of intervenor status.

The animal rights advocacy group, PETA, had applied on behalf of the S.C.B.C.D.S (Sexually Confused Beagle Cross Dressers Society) and the J.R.T.A.O.S.D.W.L.T.P.T.F.O.O.S.D (Jack Russell Terrier Association of Small Dogs Who Like To Pack The Fudge Of Other Small Dogs) but, sadly, they were turned away.

“We have to draw the line somewhere”- S.C.O.C

    Moving on……….

How do I feel about homosexuals you ask???….you did ask didn’t you???….I mean after all…enquiring minds want to know…well, personally, I have a bit of a homo-dilemma going on.

    Let’s explore……

The fact is that there have been homosexuals around since the beginning of time. One only has to look at the charming illustrations and carvings on architecture, pottery, paintings and sculpture from the days of ancient Greeks and Hindus to realize that Liberace wasn’t the first lover of flamboyance to tickle the ivories.

For me, I’m a “don’t ask, don’t tell”, “live and let live”, “what two consenting adults do behind closed doors is their business” sort of guy.

I simply can’t see myself joining a crowd of angry manly men as, armed with bags of feathers, pails of tar and clutching torches, we loose the hounds and herd a couple of hundred wild-eyed, panicked and hysterical female impersonators down Davie Street in Vancouver to a watery end in English Bay…..talk about being caught between the devil and the deep blue sea!!!….I can just see it now….clattering along in stiletto heels, leaving in their wake a trail of Judy Garland memorabilia, feather boas and false eyelashes they scream “Oh run girls!!!….run for your lives!!!….it’s raining men and I mean it’s really really raining men!!!!!

That said, I don’t agree with many of the activities of homosexuals these days. Excesses are being taken with direct and contemptuous assaults being made on the sanctity of everything from the institution of marriage to military standards and lately, inexplicably and grotesquely; the sexuality of children. It seems that simply being allowed to live their lives quietly, with an absence of persecution, wasn’t good enough for the homosexual community.

Activities such as standing up in schools with publications that extol the joys of sodomy should not be allowed. What is not known widely amongst the rank and file is that there are books advocating the homosexual lifestyle being passed out to little children in schools today.

Books like “Asha’s Mums”, a lovely story of lesbians in love, are being pedaled to preschoolers. Then there is the bestseller “One Dad, Two Dads, Brown Dad, Blue Dad”, a sort of sodomised version of Dr. Seuss’ “Green Eggs and Ham”. These lovely little stories of perversion were trotted into the classrooms by a kindergarten teacher, James Chamberlain.

It seems that James felt the need to show 5 year old children that two men clad in ass-less lether pants and frolicking about in mountain meadows with a jug of astrolube was as wholesome an activity as a normal (heterosexual) mother and daughter baking cookies. Mr. Chamberlain’s funny little ideas came to the attention of Surrey School District #36 and they weren’t pleased…at all.

You see, Surrey, British Columbia is home to a disproportionately large number of Sikhs, Hindus and East Indians . These are men and women who still have an acute sense of family values and morals and when little Bhupinder came bursting through the door with “Daddy’s Roommate” well…..as expected…all hell broke loose.

Long story short, James was told to remove the material from school. He appealed and lost…then appealed and lost…then he took the case to the SCOC with the help of Murray Warren and the BC Teachers Federation. Below is an excerpt from Warrens little panhandling whine:

“The reasons why we have chosen to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada are substantial. A Supreme Court decision in our favour will have far-reaching implications for educators throughout the country. The case is about teachers’ professional autonomy to decide how best to meet the learning needs of all students. It is about preventing school boards from making educational policy and decisions based on the religious persuasions of some members of the community, at the expense of others. Such a decision will send a clear message to school boards across Canada that they must adhere to the principles of a publicly funded education system, the purpose of which is to serve the needs of all within it.

This case also goes to the heart of children’s rights to have their realities, including their families, reflected in their schools and in the curriculum. As educators, we have a responsibility to welcome and celebrate every single student’s reality, regardless of whether we personally condone his or her family configuration and makeup.

At stake here, as well, are the equality and freedom-of-expression rights of citizens as guaranteed under the charter. The public education system and the school boards that administer it are required and morally obliged to adhere to the principles of the charter, so that all who access the system are treated in a manner consistent with its values. The national importance of this case has been confirmed by the intervention on behalf of the petitioners of the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, and others.

My life partner and I employed the lawyer in this case. To date our legal bills amount to several hundred thousands, for which we are personally liable. The school board has spent more that $760,000 to keep the books out of classrooms. Our fundraising efforts, which have taken an enormous amount of time and energy, have raised approximately $110,000 ($80,000 of which was generously donated by the BCTF). We are still short more than $200,000.”

-Murray Warren, teacher of children at the Blakeburn Elementary School, Coquitlam.

Now if you read that wretched screed carefully you will find within it the seething murderous, hatred of homosexual for a normal (heterosexual), conventional, conservative family and its God given concern for the quality of its children’s education and childhood.

Well, the case was heard in the Supreme Court of Canada and Big Bad Bev McLachlin, in writing for the majority and finding in the favor of sexual deviance, said

“Instead of proceeding on the basis of respect for all types of families, the Board proceeded on an exclusionary philosophy, acting on the concern of certain parents about the morality of same sex relationships, without considering the interest of same sex parented families and the children who belong to them in receiving equal recognition and respect in the school system.”

Basically what this means is that the whims and sensibilities of a couple of men and a couple of women who have decide to dress up and play “family’, trump the desires and concerns of a couple of thousand families consisting of a man and a woman who have sworn an oath before God.

With lunacy and contempt for families this overt I would say Mr. Whatcott’s attorneys have their work cut out for them. I would also say that the destruction of our families and our society comes wrapped in robes of black and sits nine abreast.

    Let’s explore more………

Meanwhile, back at the fruitcake factory, the masters of baked delights, Canadian Senator Larry W. Campbell and Member of Parliament, Bill Siksay were putting the finishing touches on the socialist Liberals masterpiece, a pièce de résistance of Liberal sentimentality, the quintessential sanctification of sexual deviance; the “Protection of Perverts” Act, Bill C-389.

This cancerous piece of legislation is an attempt to legalize the “gender expressions” of every Tom, Dick and Harry who feels the need to frolic about in women’s underwear…..but what we all know, deep down inside, is that this bill, Bill C-389, is a symptom of a dying culture, a symptom of a society that has lost its way and is in serious trouble.

Next we will have the destroyers of our children, pedophiles, arm in arm with practitioners of necrophilia and bestiality climbing the steps of our Supreme Court in Ottawa to have their needs met and their perversion sanctified.

Peter Mansbridge and Herbert Lacroix lounging around in the penthouse of T.C.C headquarters (aka: Thought Control Central, CBC) in the midst of going through the latest edition of “Bald But Beautiful” will be rudely interrupted by a breathless Kirstine Stewart as, fresh from a hump-fest with Zarqa Nawaz, she rushes in waving a script!!!….

”Oh God Peter and Herbert……it’s wonderful…..it’s the new flagship show for CBC…..its got it all…..it’s all here!!!…..it’s a celebration of diversity and tolerance….its about one man’s brave fight against prejudice….its got quirky characters, raw emotion and true love…its set in Moose Jaw, right smack dab in the middle of all those hateful farmers and ranchers….ooooohhhh how’s that for conflict!!!???..…..Oh My God!!!…it’s perfect!!!…..its called “Little Pedo on the Prairie”………and I just got off the phone and we already have three sponsors signed up…..Romper Room Toys, Huggies Diapers and Gerber Baby Food……..oh Peter and Herbert, we’ll sweep the ratings!!!!

    Welcome to the slippery slope.

    I think I’m going to puke……forget it…..I already did…..

Well boys and girls, as before and once again, I bid you good day and leave you with the Ode to Canadian Senator Larry W. Campbell and the High Priestess of Perversion, her Royal Arrogance, Bev McLachlin……the lyrics are below the song.

(Just wait till the CHRC and the CRTC get their hands on this one!!!!!)
