Claims that large numbers of Muslims were attacked in the aftermath of the Woolwich murder were questioned yesterday.
A Government-funded project warned it had received more than 200 reports of Islamophobia following Drummer Lee Rigby’s murder, including attacks on mosques and Muslim women.
Project director Fiyaz Mughal said the figure represented a ‘substantial spike’ in hate crimes and warned of ‘a sustained wave of attacks and intimidation’ against Muslim communities across Britain.

But more than half of the incidents reported to the Tell Mama (Measuring Anti-Muslim Attacks) hotline related to offensive messages on Twitter, Facebook or online blogs, and only a tiny minority were physical attacks, it has emerged.
The claims raised questions about the way Tell Mama presented its figures in the days after Drummer Rigby’s murder, amid repeated calls for calm to avoid reprisal attacks.
Mr Mughal said Tell Mama had received 162 reports of anti-Muslim prejudice in a 48-hour period.

They even included postings from outside the UK in these grossly exaggerated claims of a fictional wave of violence towards muslims.
You might also guess there’s no government funding for any organizations to specifically report offensive comments by muslims to non muslims as hate crimes to the police.
Only one group is allowed to claim the status of victimhood and distort reality to do so
Sickening video circulated by university Islamic Society claims Lee Rigby murder was a hoax
An Islamic Society at one of Britain’s largest universities has promoted a video claiming the execution of Drummer Lee Rigby in Woolwich was a hoax cooked up by the state, it was revealed today.
Hours after the death of the soldier, 25, a Muslim student group at London Metropolitan University (LMU) circulated a YouTube film arguing the crime was manufactured using ‘fake blood’.
The six minute video called ‘Woolwich false flag b*******. Masses are in a state-sponsored trance’, has been viewed by 300,000 people, and says that Scotland Yard detectives investigating the murder were Freemasons who were in on an anti-Muslim conspiracy.
