OT just compiled a list of countries that have seen islam inspired attacks so far this year.
Such attacks have happened in 35 countries as recorded by TROP.com
If we count the riots in Sweden then it’s 36 so far. And it’s only the 5th month of 2013.
Very few countries on the list did not see less than two.
That’s more than the countries where fighting occured in WWII.
So, yup, still a world war going on.

Syrian president Assad says army ‘has balance of power’

He also suggested Syria may have received the first shipment of an advanced Russian air defence system.
Russia vowed earlier this week to go ahead with sending S-300 missiles.

Russia Sends More Advanced Missiles to Aid Assad in Syria

“Russia has sent advanced antiship cruise missiles to Syria, a move that illustrates the depth of its support for the Syrian government led by President Bashar al-Assad, American officials said Thursday.
Russia has previously provided a version of the missiles, called Yakhonts, to Syria. But those delivered recently are outfitted with an advanced radar that makes them more effective, according to American officials who are familiar with classified intelligence reports and would only discuss the shipment on the basis of anonymity…”
My two cents:
Israel is surely not pleased with these developments. We may expect some “red-lines” being enforced there. The Yakhont missile system and the S-300 missile system give al-Assad, and under certain circumstances Hizbullah, too, some serious stand-off capabilities (with practically “new-gen” precision, operational range and formidable ordinance included). Concerning McCain, he sounds almost delusional to me. (Putting it in gallows humor; if he desires a “fair fight,” he should consider fighting in the “octagon” in a weight class and age group of his personal preference.)
A world war that is going to grow bigger and hotter.
The article on Ohio shows how Obama won the election, he did what any good Chicago politician does, he steals the election.

RE. item #8 In Hudson County NJ USA the same crooked game is played by the DemocRATS. This County has been a bastion of devious and questionable voting for over a Century. Vote early and vote often is the rule of the day. The dear departed, the bogus address, and the vacant lot are all afforded ‘voting’ rights. Photo ID would stop all of this fraud, however the liberals and socialists are always crying that it is unfair, racist, and anti minority.
Turkey: Police gas protesters camp site at Istanbul park
Police fired tear gas at demonstrators protesting against the demolition of Taksim Gezi Park in Istanbul Thursday. After spending the night camping, young demonstrators woke engulfed in huge clouds of tear gas after police fired heavy rounds of canisters around 5am Thursday morning, as the protest entered its third day.
Using the Mass Intervention Vehicle (TOMA) to disperse the protesters in the park, the police seized their tents and one demonstrator is reported to have been hospitalised after the intervention. After the demonstrators scattered, the demolition vehicles restarted their work, though one demonstrator who lay in front of the vehicle was removed by force. The demolition of the park was brought to a halt once again at around 8am when Peace and Democracy Party Istanbul deputy Sirri Sureyya Onder stood in front of the bulldozers.
Turkish main opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu made a support visit late on Wednesday night to the several hundreds of demonstrators. He promised that the Republican People’s Party (CHP) deputies would take turns everyday to stand with the protesters against any attempt to continue the demolition.
Prime Minister Recap Tayyip Erdogan voiced his determination to demolish the park and put a shopping mall and possibly a residence in it’s place.
That burns technology will come in handy when the number of people having acid thrown over them by muslims increases in the coming years…
Johnjoe, I wonder about the burn treatment being useful with acid/chemical burns. Would the spray would be vulnerable to trace elements of any acid remaining on/within damaged/melted tissue?
