A Tunisian the FBI says “radicalized” VIA Rail terror suspect Chiheb Esseghaier has been charged with terrorism-related offences in New York following an undercover investigation.
Ahmed Abassi, a former resident of Canada, was arrested in New York on April 22 at the same time the RCMP picked up Mr. Esseghaier and his co-accused Raed Jaser but the case had remained sealed until Thursday.
He was to appear in court at 3 p.m. to face two counts alleging he had fraudulently applied for a U.S. work visa to facilitate an act of international terrorism. The RCMP was involved in the probe, the U.S. Justice Department said.
Mr. Abassi allegedly met with Mr. Esseghaier in New York City earlier this year. During the discussions with Mr. Esseghaier and an undercover agent, he allegedly spoke about attacking the U.S. and supporting terrorists in Syria and Iraq.

Quite something to see a person try and be an apologist for someone who wanted to commit a historically unprecedented mass slaughter. Clearly we know where ‘Iftikhar’s sympathies lie. It also makes the comments he objects to seem not just reasonable, but ‘Mother Theresa’esque’ by comparison.
All these muslims who want to slaughter unbelievers are educated in the exact same schools that Iftikhar is advocating for. Back in the days of reason, this would make him an accomplice.
Islam is a threat to the West not because it has veiled women running around with concealed bombs, but because it takes women (and as an indirect result, men) out of this lucrative cycle of western psychological exploitation. Since she is not buying to attract men (or compete with other women), she no longer needs to buy most things fashion magazines attempt to sell women.
