  1. Very interesting. The Saudi national is being deported, but the two suspects can’t be described because it might interfere with investigations. I take it then that these two suspects are not ‘White right-wingers’, because if they were then I’m sure that their descriptions would be broadcast around the World by now.
This clumsy incident stinks of an Obama embarrassment!

  2. So far, Emerson is the only source who reported it. The rest, so far, is repetition of what he said.
Can’t say that I’d be surprised, but I’m not yet 100% sold on this.
If it turns out to be true and it can’t be explained away, it’ll get the silent treatment. If that’s impossible… “what difference does it make now?” They’ll find someone to fall on his sword.

@SoftlyBob: these are the two guys:

Those pics have been out for a while (originally on Flickr).
I have read that one of them came forward online, that he had intended to participate the marathon but was late (hence the full bags) and has nothing to do with it and intended to go to the police to clear his name.
Sounds reasonable if true, so maybe the media (and/or investigators) are behind the curve with these guys; they have been before.

it makes you wonder… the investigators fall back to "common-knowledge" suspects a few internet punks were able to find? possibly while they fly a POI out of the country?
That's the guys from DHS etc who, in 2012 had a budget of 46.9bn (DHS alone) ?

    anyway, it's all pretty confusing.
