  1. Pat Condell telling it like it is, exposing the sham of pretended offense when supremacist or uncivilized islamic beliefs are rejected while we are prevented from expressing our repugnance and disapproval by being labelled islamophobes or racists if we show our disgust for uncivilized attitudes or behaviour

  2. Little dig on the Catholic Church, notice that?

It’s well-known that Pat has a problem with all religion, not just Islam, and, despite his eloquence and ability to call out hypocrisy in the world, he seems blind to the contribution of the Judeo-Christian philosophies which makes possible the arguably efficacious egalitarian secular legal and social organization in the West which makes his perspective possible.

I enjoy his work but he displays just enough of a Bill Maher kind of sanctimoniously righteous disdain that seriously damages his effectiveness.

  3. Dallas you are right, he needs to work on that but he probably doesn’t notice that problem in his statements.

  4. Little dig yes, but we’ve all got our faults and he’s on the right side of the Fence.

  5. Chris, yes, a little dig and yes, we do have thick skin. But the infighting in the West is a symptom of a divided house, and we know what happens to divided houses.

  6. Dqllas you hit the nail on the head, unfortunately too many people think only their group is needed to fight the war and that they are free to insult their natural allies.

  7. Yes, Condell does criticise all religions but especially Islam with good reason, so I’ll forgive his occasional criticism of other religions because he also acknowledges in a number of his videos the vast difference between Judeo-Christian and other religious values, and the modern, generally liberal and civilised societies they underpin, versus violent uncivilised Islamic values which underpin violent totalitarian Islamic societies.

I don’t think there’s any doubt about Condell’s position. He will tolerate other religions even if he prefers they didn’t exist, but has no tolerance for Islam, and who would argue with that stance?
