Opposing Sharia Law Is a Defence of the Rights of Muslims

Huffington Post:

How can we be a multicultural society if we do not accommodate sharia law? That is one of the most common questions I am asked when travelling the UK as spokesperson of the anti-sharia ‘One Law for All’ campaign (www.onelawforall.org.uk). It accompanies ‘why are you picking on a vulnerable minority?’ and cries of ‘Islamophobe’ and even ‘racist’.

This is not unreasonable; it is right that people stand up and say so if they think a minority is being picked on, it is right that racism be held in check, and it is right that we accommodate people’s beliefs provided they do not impede on the rights of others – the problem is, none of this applies here, because the sharia law I’m talking about is itself is racist and imperialist, it severely compromises human rights, and it is sharia that helps make life miserable for minorities in Britain (particularly female ones).

  1. Why does this conversation keep coming up? There is one and only one way to solve it: When the British controlled India the Hindus were still in regards to their religious laws throwing the live widow on the funeral pyre of her dead husband to burn to death alive. When the British forces were made aware of this the population was told that a gallows would be erected where the funeral pyres were made and the next person to throw the widow on the pyre would then hang from the gallows.

The tradition ended immediately and for all time… Yes so called Colonial Aggressors did do some good in India besides leaving the railways, common law, schools, clean water, medicine, etc

  2. Thom that would be too easy, besides it would work and the left doesn’t really want to do anything that will help the west.

  3. It is the duty of the authorities to uphold the rule of law, failure to do so means a breakdown of the same and it enforcing agencies. Sharia is not about human rights but about a System. It had neither a moral or legal basis in the UK until it was astonishingly, accorded legal recognition due to loophole in the Arbitration Act. The mullahs have already widened its scope into the criminal law adjudicating on matters such as domestic violence, policing and so on. You see, the mullahs are the judges and the mullahs boys are policing whole areas expanding into Non Muslim areas- or the No Go Zones- the menace is on the increase to the overall detriment of the ordinary everyday folk- the Non Muslims!

It doesn’t come up with socialists. It used to come up years ago on our side of the fence but this is the Huffington post which is a socialists haven.

i am very surprised it got any traction at all there.
