METRO VANCOUVER – A TransLink attendant at the Metrotown SkyTrain Station in Burnaby found a suspicious device roughly six hours after a makeshift bomb was discovered on the tracks in Surrey.

While Transit police said early indications were that it “doesn’t look anything like” the Surrey device, as of 10 p.m. Friday, an RCMP bomb disposal unit was still trying to determine whether the Burnaby discovery was dangerous.

The device was found outside the east entrance of the Metrotown station just after 8 p.m.

Transit police spokeswoman Anne Drennan said the discovery was made during a site inspection. “We’re being hyper-vigilant.”

  1. Vigilance, bomb sniffers etc can only do so much, people being aware and reporting suspicious behavior and packages are the best way.

  2. Well, that or just throwing these fucks out of our countries and not letting any more in and stop pretending that freedom of religion means impunity from the law when it was never meant to mean that but only meant to mean that in your heart you were free to worship any god you wanted without fear of state persecution but in no way was this ever meant to grant you immunity from the laws of the land.

  3. There will come a time when, even if the government don’t throw these bastards out of the country, the people will take the law into their own hands. Mosques will be burnt and Muslims will be attacked in the streets!

  4. vlad my approach must be used until we can use yours

Bob that is what I believe, I don’t think any government will solve the problem, it will be the ordinary people deciding they have had enough abuse from the Moslems and the governments.

Eeyore, you got that right, Greece is the nation starting the push back.

  5. I don’t think China is financing them, right now they are semi-small and calling themselves the Golden Dawn, in the post about the lose of freedom and the new dark age it is mentioned in the article how Golden Dawn attacked a play denigrating Christianity. I don’t see China financing any group that does that.
