It doesn’t matter what her motives are. I hope she does make another million with this ‘stunt’ if stunt it is. The fact is that there is no way she cannot have known the dangers of doing this. There is no way she can’t have known the stakes and the risks. You would have to live in another solar system at the point not to know that. This makes her among the very very best of all of us.
I make T shirts of stuff that mocks Islam in various ways because I believe deeply in my heart what is said well here: http://www.mrctv.org/videos/head-sand but I have less to lose. Gaga is risking everything. She is a very public figure. She can’t do the kind of security she would need to do at a concert for 20,000 people that she probably should do now.
I admire her for taking a stand on women’s rights and Islam. Its more than nearly all the self titled feminists do.
