No, Mecca is still off limits to non-Muslims. The Saudis, care takers of Islam, can never come up with an original idea of their own. It’s both a rip off from Mcdonalds as well as tarnishing its image, the famous ”Golden Arches” are now going to be associated with Islamic supremacism / religious apartheid.
NOTE: We should place these arches at border crossings, denying Saudis entrance until they take theirs down for non-Muslims.
As Islam’s most sacred city, non-Muslims are not allowed to enter Makkah. The arch will indicate where the Haram area starts and where it ends, so that non-Muslims do not go beyond it. Currently the boundaries are indicated by billboards, flags and edifices that fade over time due to erosion and other climatic factors.

I wouldn’t visit Saudi, or any other muslim majority country, if you paid me. So far as I’m concerned, they can keep the ban in place, and we should do the same. Trade should be restricted to buying their oil ( whilst spending vast amounts on finding an alternative) and selling them non military manufactured goods at vastly inflated prices.
If we cant go in, they shouldn’t be allowed out, keep them within their borders.
I wonder if maccas will take offence to these arches and demand they take them down?

One day there will be a McDonald’s in Mecca, along with several synagogues, churches, bars and pubs. The day will come, and Muslims around the World will be oh.. so ashamed!
Saudi is just a vast depressing dessert. Nothing to see. Perhaps, those abusive and haughty asian wokers(who go there to get filthy rich) and arrogantly horrible saudis deserve each other.
