  1. You know, I think my liberal friends would get on board if they could just wrap their minds around Huntington’s “bloody boarders” concept, but they cannot allow themselves to hear that information. As soon as I get anywhere near this concept, it’s as if I’m standing there in a flaming KKK outfit with an SS hat on and a noose in my hand with a fundamentalist Bible in the other, under the Confederate flag, and I’m yelling “Burn the Nigger Jew Bitches” at the top of my lungs. It happens every time, and until the mainstream media gives this extremely important piece of information its stamp of legitimacy, the “bloody borders” reality will continue to escape the attention of the nicer People. Once a person gets it through their head that practically every conflict there is and practically every one they’ve ever heard of, is about Islam and somebody else, their entire world view goes “click”. “The whole Jihad/terror problem would vanish If only Israel would agree to sit down at the table and begin to talk about peace”, starts to sound pretty silly when you allow yourself to know that the Muslims have similar lists of “grievances” with Thailand, The Philipines, Great Britain, France, Christian minorities within their own lands, the USA, you name it. They even hate the Saudis, for Pete’s sake. It’s a fact. Everywhere there is Islam, there is conflict and bloodshed and a long list of Muslim grievances – it has nothing to do with Israel. If only they’d put that in the “real” newspapers and the “real” news shows. I mean, wouldn’t a nice big article in the New York Times pretty much change the whole game in about one day? Wouldn’t it? Which leads me to ask, if the New York Times is so influential that it could lead us out of darkness with one truthful article, why does it choose not to?

  2. In answer to your question about the NY Times, they are a leftist mouthpiece and have been since about 1900, they covered for the crimes of Lenin and then Stalin and are now covering for the crimes of the Moslems. The left took over the times by recruiting members of the owning family and after that the policy of the Times was decidedly left of center.

As to the rest of the post, yes people especially liberals think that the entire problem is either the fault of Israel, or the fault of the US or both. Any evidence to the contrary is ignored because it upsets their fantasy world. I know one woman who has told me that she rejects my statements about Islam because to accept them would mean we are facing war for eternity. Political Correctness and the liberal slant in the news and on the TV shows makes people think all we have to do is say the right things and everything will be all right.

  3. Perhaps that is the essence of idealism. Just describe the world as you would like it to be and then act as if you’re right. Not so good if you happen to be wrong.

  4. It is a form of mental illness, unfortunately most liberal have it to one degree pr another. According to the reports I am hearing Obama has it to the point where he is going off at the bearers of bad news and appears to be headed towards a nervous breakdown. That is the good news, the bad news is that he will be replaced by Biden who suffers from foot in the mouth disease every time he gives a speech.
