Britain has announced it is giving 19 million pounds Sterling (approximately 25 million US dollars) for refugees in Gaza and repeated calls for Israel to lift its blockade of the territory.
“The humanitarian situation in Gaza is both unacceptable and unsustainable,” International Development Secretary Andrew Mitchell said announcing the funds on Sunday, which will help support schools and health clinics for Gazan refugees.
The money is part of a five-year, 100 million pound agreement signed with the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) in 2006.
We have to stop this non-stop game of charades. How can anybody say “UNRWA” with a straight face? Why don’t people break out laughing when they speak that acronym instead of acting as if it’s real or something. “Mid-east peace talks.” There’s a good one. And how about this one: “Right of Return.” Non-stop one-liners! Hilarious!
One silver lining to the slo-mo death of the euro and its current fall from the lofty value of over 1.5 to below 1.2 andfalling slowly, is: less money for UNRWA. PArab freeloaders adn mooches and welfare queens will have to get along with a lot less. The Eu zone will cut back alot.
Fortunately, the UK is an economic basketcase, even according to conservative insiders. This donation will not stop the hate towards the brits. Only slow it down. Therapesa nd beatings and honor killings will go on and on and on..

It is going to get much worse before the shit hits the fans.
Shouldn’t someone charge the UK government with aiding known terrorist organizations?
Hamas is one. So are most of the other PA groups, come to think of it.
Its a shame when the world’s opinion of Israel is so low, yet they are willing and able to disregard the atrocities committed by the Palestinians, Saudis, Syrians, Pakistanis, Iraqis, etc, towards the minorities within their countries and even abroad.
Is the west that afraid of losing OPEC oil and gas that the governments have to appease Muslims wherever they are?
Time for the reckoning, I feel. Time for a resurgence of Holger Dansk, Vlad Tepes, Charlemagne and all those who fought against Muslim imperialism on every continent where Islam has conquered territory.

I suspect, RRWest, that you’ve hit the nail on the head. Maybe it’s as simple as that. Obama complains about, say, those horrible Bugs Bunny Jews-in-the-ovens cartoons they show their kids in Gaza and, wham! No more oil. The USA is a flipped turtle and everybody starves. What about that? Is it just that simple? Have they got us? Maybe it’s time for a ten-dollar a gallon gasoline tax-give the alternative fuels a chance to thrive. I can’t believe I’m saying that.
