Antalya (Turkey): Mortal fear in a vacation plane goung from Antalya to Trondheim (Norway): On the turkish vacation paradise’s airport, a fire broke out in a Boeing 737-800 belonging to Corendon Airlines, shortly before take-off.

Unbelievable: Passengers reported that the crew fled – abandoning the passengers!

‘When we noticed the smoke, we wanted to leave the machine’, a tourist reports to norwegian newspaper ‘Verdens Gang’. The crew, however, demanded that we remain seated.’

A panic erupted among the 158 passengers aboard the Boeing 737-800! According to reports found at the ‘ABCNews’ news portal, two passengers broke their legs while fleeing from the plane. 25 passengers inhaled smoke, had likewise to be taken to a hospital.

At this time, Antalya airport authorities refused to confirm the reports.

A representative for tour operator Detur said the passengers had immediately been brought into safety when the fire had been noted.
