I’ll say… Doesn’t it just make your blood boil to see arrogant pinheads like these say such untrue stuff with such towering condescension? Especially when all it takes is a little reading of the Quran to see that Boko Haram is doing exactly what Mohammed Abdallah would have ordered them to do if he were alive today. What really bugs me is the way they take their own university degrees as such unassailable proof of their own intellectual superiority, then they show that they can’t even hack a few hours of hard reading endeavoring to understand the Islamic holy books. I share your frustration, and I know this is nothing you aren’t well aware of – we all know how it works – but to state the obvious anyhow:
While it’s true that like other Western peoples Canadians have the larger, overarching responsibility to Canadian children that you describe, Canadians with their own children have immediate and frequently pressing responsibilities. These include not losing one’s job, so that one’s children can continue to be provided for, even merely continue to be fed, clothed and housed.
Invaders like Sabahat Ali, as you pointed out in an earlier comment, are given platforms in the media to spew their lies. I think a lot of Canadians are still fooled by liars like Ali. Exposing his lies is not nothing, surely, even if it’s not much more than nothing. But informing the citizenry, as I know that you have been doing for years, is a step toward creating the conditions in which Canadians can oppose Islam without fear of their livelihoods being destroyed. Meanwhile, posterity can be grateful that Canadians like yourself and Vlad have what it takes to publicly call out liars like Sabahat Ali.
On the subject of Sabahat Ali, and the points that everyone made on that thread about the Calgary Herald article being based on what he calls ‘misunderstandings of the highest order and/or lies,’ the very books he linked to, Seal of the Prophets volumes 1 & 2, give the lie to his insistence that the actions of Boko Haram have no basis in Islam. Volume 2 discusses sex-slaves at length, in a chapter called ‘Specific Issues Relating to Bond-Women’ and another called ‘A Question of Female Prisoners’ (p. 227-233).
The only reason given for not taking sex-slaves in modern times is that the enemies of Islam aren’t doing it:

Yes. The video is outstanding. Let us suppose that our leaders were not totally stupid and blind, and are aware that Islam poses a deadly threat. If we assume that, then what? It would mean that the West would have to declare war on Islam as a whole – a war of such dimensions, that it would make both previous world wars look petty. We would win comprehensively of course, but such would be the casualties, that we would be sunk in guilt for generations to come. Such a victory would not be just hollow but bitter, and would lay the foundation for our own cultural collapse.
Better then to declare that Islam is a “Religion of peace”, and the Jihadis, Muslims who kill apostates from Islam etc, do not represent Islam. This then allows us to wage war on a selective basis, while tying the hands of Islamic governments worldwide to respond to what we are doing in their brother Islamic nations. Note that before each and every intervention, the authorities from the president or PM down, vigorously assured the world that we were setting out to do was rescue the nation from the radicals, or freeing them from WMDs, which could fall into the hands of the radicals. We are using the same excuses for Syria, and possibly Iran in the future.
This war is a dirty war- far dirtier then WWII or even the Vietnam war, where at least the political demarcation lines were clear. The real motives and strategy of this war will not be revealed for another 50 years, assuming that we have won without destroying the world, or our own culture.

That assumes that all Western leaders, of no matter which persuation, and over two decades, have exactly the same point of view on the subject of Islam. On Islam as a RoP, is a view that is held with vigour by all Western leaders – and they will not budge from it, no matter what the evidence.
And even when they do not hod Islam as the ultimate RoP, before they come to power, they soon to revert to the same mantra when they become PM or president. To me it is evident that this is part of a strategic policy to divide the Islamic world, while waging war on it. In that way it makes sense.
I believe this will continue as long as we are in the process of “intervening” in Islamic nations by all and sundry means.

That assumes that all Western leaders, of no matter which persuation, and over two decades, have exactly the same point of view on the subject of Islam. On Islam as a RoP, is a view that is held with vigour by all Western leaders – and they will not budge from it, no matter what the evidence.
And even when they do not hod Islam as the ultimate RoP, before they come to power, they soon to revert to the same mantra when they become PM or president. To me it is evident that this is part of a strategic policy to divide the Islamic world, while waging war on it. In that way it makes sense.
I believe this will continue as long as we are in the process of “intervening” in Islamic nations by all and sundry means.
