Reader’s Links for July 29th, 2026

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

**New intelligence suggests a specific course of action concerning use of Substack. For a variety of reasons, who owns it, and who owns the ONLY company that monetizes authors on Substack, the question for us has always been, ‘Why is Substack allowed to exist?” I believe the answer is now known to us. It collects data on you and who you are connected to. Substack does have the best writers out there for counter-narrative views, and does allow the authors to make money at it. Which is suspicious already. But the reasons were made known to us by a Cyber-security professional. The solution seems to be to use a dedicated browser, ONLY for substack. There are many good ones out there now. So downloading another browser is easy. Get the DuckduckGo go one, or Brave or one of many others and use it ONLY for substack and clear cookies after use. Like washing your plate after you eat.

For those interested, please check out https://vladtepesblog.substack.com/ as an another avenue of expression. The Substack is a different project in a sense. It is older videos that in the light of subsequent events, look different or of increased importance, Check it out now and again if you like. But use it safely.

ADDENDUM:

This site operates more at the philosophical level of the communist/Islamic revolution which is obliterating Western Civilization. Politics, culture, law are all down stream from philosophy. Understanding the philosophy of the attack is to understand what is an attack and develop tactics, both individually and collectively against them. The attack comes entirely (so far) in the form of Dialectics. To understand dialectics, watch and read everything you can by Maj. (Ret.) Stephen Coughlin.

Here is a repost of the simplest explanation, or at least the shortest one, we have been able to think of so far (Placed here by request)

We as humans communicate mostly via conventions. In other words, we decide what a word means by what we, as a culture want it to mean, then fix the term as a convention via a dictionary

or other means so we can express what we want to each other and be understood. It’s a group process more or less but based on what we want expressions, words, concepts and taxonomy to mean.

Dialectics is the imposition of meaning on existing terms for a political outcome which is destructive to what we all consider meaning. It is a complete hijacking of Meaning.

This also applies to taxonomy. The most underrated aspect of epistemology. Of how we see ourselves. Of how we understand the world, via categories. Via labels.

Dialectical taxonomy is what forces us to change everything we think about sexuality and accept political sexuality such as the Trans-movement.

Or somehow convincing everyone that the German National Socialist Worker’s Party is somehow “far right wing”, which may be the most masterful dialectical con of the 20th century.

This deserves a proper essay. But I just want to get the thought out there.

Imposing, forcing meaning on us. Changing terms to mean what a group of tyrants what us to think they mean as opposed to what they do mean and more or less always have meant.

Making words mean something other than what we meant them to mean, then banning or criminalizing them because of their imputed meaning, even though they were good, useful terms that helped hold our culture together.

Attacking us for using perfectly good words with important meanings, then telling us what we meant by what we said, then cancelling us for it in the pre-revolutionary stage, and now in the UK outright arrest you now that the revolution is all but complete.

That is dialectics.

  1. Canada is no longer viable as an independent polity. It is permeated by bad actors both foreign and domestic. It’s middle class is quickly being looted and eliminated by a very sophisticated tax regime. It checks every single box in terms of being dialectically attacked. The demographic most vulnerable to this language noose is its aging boomer generation who, with its calcifying brain, voted most for the regime currently in power, and the one before.

Ironically, this is the generation that ushered in the great Hippie culture of the 1960’s, slowly shed just enough of that ‘progressive’ cultural fashion to enrich itself, and now hobbles towards its final resting place loaded with sharp, anthropogenic question marks crossing every barrier except for the one that openly admits its own stupid decisions.

In terms of this particular form of asymmetrical warfare its people have been demoralized by propaganda pushing the normalization of sexual dysphoria, climate change, fascism (dressed as socialism for meat tenderization), population replacement, and medical control of the people including a state-made ending by more effective needles than the ones that fell short of their goal during C-19. The fact is that in a time of record debt no fiscally-mismanaged country is a country for old men. Or women. They’re just too expensive to maintain. The icing on this gruesome cake is that once the rich boomer is dispatched the state takes more than half his wealth from the disposition of his assets. It’s a win-win for those who covet other people’s money.

Canada is cooked because, unlike the United States, it was never a good enough idea to become an ideal. The U.S. in contrast backs it all up with the kind of paperwork that distinguishes citizens from subjects, which is itself a minor enough difference to ask why Canada, the idea, lasted as long as it did, which is a sarcastic way of saying Canada the idea was always a grand illusion dressed up as a kitchen pantry.

It’s so much easier to bet the farm on the future when you’re young, beautiful and strong and the year is 1968, and you have little to lose because you are rich in time. Mentacided Canadian boomers, now so poor in time but rich in money, glue their eyes to legacy media because everything else flutters their aortic valve. Most of them were selfish in ’68 and are still selfish.

The United States exhibits many of the bad symptoms of Canada, except for its paperwork. But paperwork matters. The ideal so powerful that it changed the world still matters. U.S. debt, however, is a real elephant in the room. It has come to the point where the smartest men in the room must choose between saving the dollar or saving the treasury bill market. They will choose treasuries because they must.

In concert with this debt dilemna is the screaming crystallization of the truth bomb understood by President Trump. Canada cannot be allowed to be pillaged by the Red Chinese or anyone else. The U.S. needs Canadian resources to right its listing ship. There is zero doubt here. Gold, fresh water, silver, oil, wheat, rare earths, potash, uranium–you name it–it has it. The North American map will be redrawn, somehow, sooner rather than later. Arithmetic demands it right now.

    • We are probably going to go after Cuba first. You always go after the easy target first, that way you are close full power when you take on the hard target. In this case it is political capital that is the power we are talking about.

Also timing must be taken into consideration, the midterms in November are the reason it has taken until now for the evidence on a lot of the crimes to be made public. Once the midterms are over PT has a free hand the next Repub candidate can blame him for any unpopular actions. This is the main reason Canada and Greenland are delayed until after the midterms. Cuba is a different matter, there are so many Cuban refugees and their descendents in the US taking them will be a political plus.

      • Cuba: Yes!!
Cuban-Americans are like the ex-Soviets [described at link below] . They know. They tried to warn their would-be allies, tribal kin but establishment suckers.

Generic “Latinos” are not only clueless, but they’ve bought in to the Cool-Kids orthodoxy. Cuban-Americans like Sen. Cruz and Sec. Rubio are more than just high-IQ: they have healthy instincts.

“When the Russian-speaking Jewish community in America sent emails to the Anti-Defamation League in the early 2000s ringing the alarm bells, they were ignored.

When Jews mobilized against the anti-Zionist ethnic-studies curriculum in California in 2017, they were vilified as “right-wingers” by the Jewish Community Relations Council.

And when many begged Jewish leaders to walk away from their venerated “seat at the table,” they promised that staying at the table would give us a voice.”

@LekhtNaya exposes the naïveté and bad decision making that led us to this Mamdani reality.

Can you connect the dots yet?

Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea are allies.

They want to upend the Western-led order.

And their conflicts are becoming increasingly tangled.

Iran supplies drones to Russia to attack Ukraine. Ukraine risks getting dragged into the war against Iran, because it just bombed an Iranian cargo vessel shipping weapons to Russia. Now Iran is threatening to get involved in the war against Ukraine, saying that Ukraine’s actions “cannot go unanswered.” While for now the Iranians accept the Ukrainians’ excuse that it was unintentional, let’s see whether Ukraine continues to allow weapons shipments across the Caspian Sea.

Meanwhile, North Korea is supplying troops to Russia to attack Ukraine. Ukraine believes Moscow is preparing to deploy another 30,000 North Korean troops to fight its bloody war in Europe.

At the same time, China is providing Russia with technologies that support its war on Ukraine, inviting Western sanctions.

So we’ve got a war against Ukraine with North Korean troops possibly using Iranian drones and Chinese technology at the behest of Russia.

In return, Russia is also getting involved in these countries’ conflicts. For one, it’s helping Iran fight the United States and its Middle Eastern allies.

Russia reportedly gave Iran intelligence to target American forces, specifically the movement of US warships and military assets, as well as Israeli energy infrastructure. The FT reports Iran has improved its missile targeting thanks to more intelligence from Russia. Russia is also selling thousands of advanced shoulder-fired missiles to Iran.

China is also helping Iran. The US sanctioned a Chinese satellite company for providing intelligence to the Houthis to target US warships. China reportedly reached some sort of deal with the Houthis to leave its own ships in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. China was of course the major buyer of Iranian oil, giving it cash to fund its proxy armies as it built its own reserves.

Meanwhile, Russia and North Korea have a mutual defense pact since 2024, and Russia is helping arm North Korea. Russia has held joint naval drills with China, which is plotting a takeover of Taiwan.

This axis is not alone, and the West needs to question what side certain states are on. Turkey, of course, is a Trojan horse in NATO that operates Russian air defenses. Turkey has growing military ties with Pakistan, which is an ally of Iran. South Africa has conducted naval exercises with Russia and China, and it’s openly allied with Iran.

In short, the aggression against Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, and South Korea cannot be treated as isolated conflicts. They are increasingly interlinked and threaten to become enmeshed even more messily.

    Is the Long Peace over?

    https://xcancel.com/EylonALevy/status/2082215301043663157#m

    • Probably, we are no longer governed by people who remember the US nuking Japan, they have discovered how hard it is for anyone on any side to move to the level of nuclear war. That means that the wanna be world Dictators can once again start moving against the rest of the world. The fact that the long peace has allowed the left to get traitors into the US Government is an added benefit for them.

      • It’s easy to overlook the fact that every strike on every facility deep inside Russia – including purely civilian targets like the domestic equivalent of Amazon – has been geolocated by USA satellites with a CIA finger pressing the button.

Even official news in Russia skips over that fact. VVP knows America is not the centuries-old enemy that “Gayrope” is.[*] I think he and PT could’ve sorted this out without the feckless “coalition of the willing”.

But now Russians are getting disgusted with the wanton targeting of civilian enterprises even beyond the Urals.

They’re saying what their MSM is not:
The “spirit of Anchorage” makes “Grandpa” look like a sucker and “Donya” like a conman.
        ___
        [*]As Russians are calling it.

    • If you pay attention to what the Dems are doing you will discover they are working to ensure that there is an active opposition to the US defending freedom. This is going to make it easier for the many small wars that will mimic a large war to start.

      • I won’t trash ALL demonrats.
The weak-willed uniparty Dems are letting the noisy trotskys rule the roost. Contributions to the campaign fund will diminish significantly. (Sadly, there are fat cats like Pritzker and Omeed Malik who will cover the shortfall.)

I hope the repubs remain vigorous in condemning their Woke Reich element. It’s as much a caricature as the DSA.

  3. Saul Sadka @Saul_Sadka Jul 28

The group of slow-witted, brainwashed, trust-fund student activists who, via the DSA, have taken control of New York City are—perhaps without even understanding it—speed-running Stalinism. In just the last 24 hours, they have:

    1. Set up centrally planned grocery stores.

    2. Released a list of all the kulaks.

    3. Locked Jews out of a professional body.

It’s going to end in tears—for New York, for Mamdani, for the DSA, and for the Democratic Party. But for the United States and the West, it is good news. Each generation needs to see Marxism fail with its own eyes. Let it run its course in New York City and serve as a kind of “inoculation” for everyone else.

    • American Debunk @AmericanDebunk Jul 28

As a Democratic Socialist, Mamdani has clearly studied the Bolshevik playbook:

      1-Publicly name the class enemies
      2-Publish their names and properties
3-Treat private ownership itself as the problem
4-Let the resulting violence and hostility do the work

We’re already seeing it with Mamdani:
1-He released a searchable list of every property (and owner) that might owe the pied-à-terre tax
2-He created the “100 Worst NYC Landlords” ranking and published these addressed on the internet
3-He frames landlords and wealthy property owners as the root of NYC’s problems and the reason for socioeconomic inequality
4-He called Netanyahu the “architect of a horrific genocide” and “war criminal”, putting a target on every Jewish person in NYC

This is how socialists from the Bolsheviks to Castro to Chávez/Maduro always start the war on private property and their designated enemies.

Many similarities. I predict there will be more violent attacks on the Jewish community in NYC, as well as violent attacks on people on the pied-a-terre tax & worst landlords list.

      It’s 100% guaranteed, actually.

      https://xcancel.com/AmericanDebunk/status/2082066738967982214#m

    • There are a lot of Vets who have seen this happen in other nations, shortly after the left turns very violent they will decide that we won’t be able to vote our way out of this mess and decide to chose the alternative way out of this mess.

  4. J.E. responds to suggestion we use tactical nuke to destroy the Twisted Raghead’s junk under Pickaxe Mt.

    J.E. Dyer @OptimisticCon Jul 23

No. The US determined when planning its attack weapons for hard and deeply buried targets that using nuclear warheads wasn’t decisive or necessary.

The way to deal with Pickaxe Mountain is the way we dealt with Fordow. Cut off access to what’s underground, at the access points. Kill air-handling apertures like vent shafts, which have to be exposed to the outside. Make it impossible to get into the underground chambers.

Kill power inside, which has to be connected to the outside. There will be no way for systems to function inside the mountain. No possibility of keeping even functioning centrifuges in operation (as opposed to just storing a bunch of them), for a day when access from the outside may be restored.

The elegance of the approach is that we can just keep killing access wherever they try to revive it. We don’t have to get to all the underground caches or infrastructure to blow them up. We have to (a) deny Iran access to them and (b) win the war.
