Reader’s Links for May 16, 2026

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

**New intelligence suggests a specific course of action concerning use of Substack. For a variety of reasons, who owns it, and who owns the ONLY company that monetizes authors on Substack, the question for us has always been, ‘Why is Substack allowed to exist?” I believe the answer is now known to us. It collects data on you and who you are connected to. Substack does have the best writers out there for counter-narrative views, and does allow the authors to make money at it. Which is suspicious already. But the reasons were made known to us by a Cyber-security professional. The solution seems to be to use a dedicated browser, ONLY for substack. There are many good ones out there now. So downloading another browser is easy. Get the DuckduckGo go one, or Brave or one of many others and use it ONLY for substack and clear cookies after use. Like washing your plate after you eat.

For those interested, please check out https://vladtepesblog.substack.com/ as an another avenue of expression. The Substack is a different project in a sense. It is older videos that in the light of subsequent events, look different or of increased importance, Check it out now and again if you like. But use it safely.

ADDENDUM:

This site operates more at the philosophical level of the communist/Islamic revolution which is obliterating Western Civilization. Politics, culture, law are all down stream from philosophy. Understanding the philosophy of the attack is to understand what is an attack and develop tactics, both individually and collectively against them. The attack comes entirely (so far) in the form of Dialectics. To understand dialectics, watch and read everything you can by Maj. (Ret.) Stephen Coughlin.

Here is a repost of the simplest explanation, or at least the shortest one, we have been able to think of so far (Placed here by request)

We as humans communicate mostly via conventions. In other words, we decide what a word means by what we, as a culture want it to mean, then fix the term as a convention via a dictionary

or other means so we can express what we want to each other and be understood. It’s a group process more or less but based on what we want expressions, words, concepts and taxonomy to mean.

Dialectics is the imposition of meaning on existing terms for a political outcome which is destructive to what we all consider meaning. It is a complete hijacking of Meaning.

This also applies to taxonomy. The most underrated aspect of epistemology. Of how we see ourselves. Of how we understand the world, via categories. Via labels.

Dialectical taxonomy is what forces us to change everything we think about sexuality and accept political sexuality such as the Trans-movement.

Or somehow convincing everyone that the German National Socialist Worker’s Party is somehow “far right wing”, which may be the most masterful dialectical con of the 20th century.

This deserves a proper essay. But I just want to get the thought out there.

Imposing, forcing meaning on us. Changing terms to mean what a group of tyrants what us to think they mean as opposed to what they do mean and more or less always have meant.

Making words mean something other than what we meant them to mean, then banning or criminalizing them because of their imputed meaning, even though they were good, useful terms that helped hold our culture together.

Attacking us for using perfectly good words with important meanings, then telling us what we meant by what we said, then cancelling us for it in the pre-revolutionary stage, and now in the UK outright arrest you now that the revolution is all but complete.

That is dialectics.

    https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/iraqi-national-arrested-and-charged-providing-material-support-iranian-backed-terrorist
The Justice Department announced today the arrest of Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi, an Iraqi national and senior member of Kata’ib Hizballah, a U.S. designated foreign terrorist organization (FTO). Al-Saadi was charged by complaint with six counts of terrorism-related offenses for his activities as an operative of Kata’ib Hizballah and Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including his involvement in nearly 20 attacks and attempted attacks throughout Europe and the United States. Al-Saadi was arrested on the charges contained in the complaint, which was unsealed today, transferred into U.S. custody overseas, and transported to the United States. Al-Saadi was presented earlier today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn in Manhattan federal court and ordered detained pending trial.

  2. US charges Iraqi with plots to target Jews in cities from London to LA
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c7v918j6nj0o
A commander of an Iraqi militia has been arrested for his alleged role in planning more than a dozen terrorist attacks in North America and Europe, which prosecutors allege was in retaliation for the Iran war.
Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood al-Saadi, 32, was plotting an attack on a New York City synagogue, and two Jewish institutions in Los Angeles, California, and Scottsdale, Arizona, say prosecutors.
He is charged with six terrorism-related counts, according to a criminal complaint. His lawyer says he is facing “political prosecution”.
Saadi is allegedly a commander in Kataib Hezbollah, a US-designated foreign terrorist organisation operating in Iraq with ties to Iran.
An Iraqi national, he was taken into custody in Turkey before being turned over to the FBI and transported to the US. He appeared in Manhattan federal court and was detained pending trial.
He “directed and urged others to attack US and Israeli interests”, in retaliation for the Iran war and to “further the terrorist goals of Kata’ib Hizballah and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps”, the justice department said in court papers.
The charges allege he has been involved in “the planning, execution and promotion” of some 18 reported terror attacks in Europe and two in Canada against US and Israeli interests since 9 March.
In the first incident, there was an attack on a synagogue in Liège, Belgium, using explosives, the complaint states.

  3. Former imam sentenced to life for sexual assaults
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cdrpk4end65o
A “cunning” and “manipulative” former imam in east London has been given a life sentence with a minimum prison term of 20 years for a series of sexual attacks on women and girls as young as 12.
Abdul Halim Khan, 54, was described as having abused the trust and authority that came with his position to carry out attacks against seven victims from the local Muslim community between 2005 and 2014.
In February, Khan was found guilty of 21 counts of rape, sexual assault and child sexual offences against victims at what were described as isolated places, including flats and hidden locations.
Sentencing him, Judge Leslie Cuthbert described Khan’s “deliberate distortion of the Muslim faith”.
“You had a position of significant power and authority, a position you systematically abused for your own base sexual gratification,” the judge told the former imam at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
    ‘Evil personified’
Cuthbert talked of Khan specifically targeting women and girls from the Bangladeshi Muslim community because of his standing and the shame the victims might feel in speaking out about sexual abuse.
“You behaved as if you were untouchable. You were confident that if they did come forward it would be you and not they who would be believed,” Cuthbert told Khan.
The court heard statements from some of the victims who all spoke of the severely detrimental impact the attacks had caused, with one talking about having tried to take her own life.
One of Khan’s victims, who said she was a child when she was abused, tearfully told the court: “To me, Khan is not a human being, he is evil personified.”
She said fear was instilled in her through Khan’s “lies and manipulation”, saying that he hid “under the guise of a religious man”.
Lead prosecution barrister Sarah Morris KC described the way in which Khan convinced his victims he needed to cleanse them of the evil spirits he said were in them.
She talked of the “lifelong harm” done to the victims by Khan who she said had “weaponised their faith”.
In sexually assaulting his victims, Khan claimed to some that he had been possessed. He then also threatened that death or harm would come to the victims or their families via “black magic” if they spoke out.
He also told one young victim that she had ovarian cancer that only he could cure, before taking her in his car to a secluded area and raping her.
Victims talked of “lies and manipulation” from someone thought of in the community as a “religious, pious and trustworthy man”.
    ‘Remarkable bravery’
He was found guilty in February of nine counts of rape, four counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual assault of a child under 13, five counts of rape of a child under 13 and one count of assault by penetration.
Despite his convictions, the court received letters of support for Khan from his family and some members of the community ahead of sentencing.
Det Ch Insp Jennie Ronan, whose team led the investigation, said: “Abdul Khan presented himself as a respectable man who could be trusted.
“However, this was far from the truth, and he instead preyed upon and took advantage of others.
“Today, I want to focus on the victim-survivors, who have shown remarkable bravery in reporting Khan and great strength throughout the trial.”
Melissa Garner, specialist prosecutor at the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), said: “Abdul Halim Khan used their deeply held beliefs to instil fear and silence in them, making them believe their families would be at risk if they ever spoke out.”
An NSPCC spokesperson said: “It is deeply disturbing that Khan abused his position as a trusted faith leader to commit sexual offences against girls and women using fear and manipulation to control and silence those he targeted.”

Tonight, at my direction, brave American forces and the Armed Forces of Nigeria flawlessly executed a meticulously planned and very complex mission to eliminate the most active terrorist in the world from the battlefield. Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, second in command of ISIS globally, thought he could hide in Africa, but little did he know we had sources who kept us informed on what he was doing. He will no longer terrorize the people of Africa, or help plan operations to target Americans. With his removal, ISIS’s global operation is greatly diminished.

  5. Here is a piece by Rebel News that does not quite grasp its own profundity. It reveals Rebel and the people it is trying to help are missing a few vital keys to fully grasping what is going on: namely an active measure.

    One definition:

The term, which dates back to the 1920s, includes operations such as espionage, propaganda, sabotage, assassination, and the collection of kompromat for blackmail purposes based on the foreign policy objectives of the Soviet and Russian governments.

Usually we only see the end results of an active measure. This means we see the headline shaming the political target, but not the setup that created the shame. Another example was the placement of Nazi flags by state actors among the Truckers Freedom Convoy, which was intended to disgrace that whole movement in the eyes of the Canadian public.

This Rebel report gives us a rare glimpse into the actual machinery of an active measure. The language of dialectics, of which active measures is a vital component, is difficult and abstract and hard to learn. It becomes, however, an increasingly blunt instrument the more one learns it. Metaphorically, describing in detail a loaded hand gun to a blind person is an abstraction until the gun is fired and the bullet hits them, whereupon the “Aha!” moment instantly erases all abstraction, along with the implied cleverness of the words used to describe the gun.

Rebel News, for all its great work, remains blind in this regard, because it does define this report in the appropriate Soviet terminology. Without this ‘key’ it proceeds hobbled in my humble opinion. The responsibility for this deficiency rests with its owner, Ezra Levant, who would do very well to place an expert in this field on his payroll. Akin to a seeing-eye dog, this expert can lead until the blind man knows what he sees for himself. Perhaps the enticement of a substantial donation under the proviso of a concentrated effort to understanding this aspect of communism would work to enlighten Rebel News. As a wise man said: if you don’t get dialectics you will never fully understand communism.

Behind the objective of this particular active measure perpetrated by the CBC we see all the bad acting, clunky lies and squandered taxpayer money. We see second-rate intellects walking into walls, and plastic parts substituting for steel truth. In short, we see all that was responsible for the downfall of the Soviet Union, which was essentially the weak engineering of a fake skyscraper society built with bricks of stupid little lies:

  6. Vehicle rams into pedestrians in Italy, injuring at least 8 people
    https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/vehicle-rams-into-pedestrians-in-italy-injuring-at-least-8-people
A car plowed into pedestrians in the northern Italian city of Modena on Saturday, injuring eight people, four of them critically, local authorities said.
Mayor Massimo Mezzetti said no one was killed in the dramatic crash but four victims were in serious condition. He said a woman was pinned against a shop window and required the amputation of both legs.
    [..]
The driver attempted to flee but was stopped first by some of the citizens involved in the crash and then by police and taken to headquarters for questioning.
Witnesses reported the man was holding a knife, but he did not manage to stab anyone, the mayor said, adding that investigators are still working to determine whether the act was deliberate or linked to other causes.

Note that from 0:59, a victim speaks and says he was actually stabbed. He’s covered in blood, so seems legit:
