Reader’s Links for Oct. 4th, 2025

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

  2. Yesterday I watched an interview with Conrad Black. He was in the Oval Office with the President when news came that Charlie Kirk had died.

    The President asked Black about Canada. Black spoke about how Carney was still in his honeymoon period as PM. He said he hoped that Carney would turn out alright, but didn’t appear very optimistic.

    What struck me about the very learned Black is his apparant obliviousness to the dialectic.

    Understanding what dialectics is is not easy because one must be, essentially, crazy to embrace it. It is in fact the worship of an irrational scaffolding of ideas that brings the worshipper closer to God, and death.

    Take comfort that a dialectic–a person who worships this religion–will always tell you that you do not understand it. This person will say this because you present a rational argument against their pseudo-scientific mumbo jumbo.

    It is a cult that consider the nonbelievers to be unformed shards of the unified heaven that is the collectivization of humanity.

    The Caribbean is a powder ked ready to explode.

    In the last few days, there has been a surge in activity on the maritime siege of Venezuela and the operation against the drug Cartels.

    The Trump administration has reportedly declared – in a memo to Congress – drug cartels to be ‘unlawful combatants’, further declaring the United States to be in ‘armed conflict’ with them.

    Then, yet another alleged drug boat was destroyed on the Caribbean.
