Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

  2. Pt said Stable coins are the new oil. What does this mean?

    Stable coins are a digital token invention (by the US?) design to perpetuate the purchase of U.S. T-bills and government bonds. This gimmick is required because the world no longer wants U.S. debt for savings its surpluses. This situation accelerated after Obiden froze Russian assets.

    The Eastern world has turned to gold in which to save. The U.S., possibly having fallen behind in its gold reserves when compared to its enemies, has seemingly chosen to use this digital token to force domestic commercial banks–so by proxy American savings–into U.S. debt instruments. It’s not about the economy, but rather about the U.S. government no longer being able to finance itself, and pay interest on its own growing fiscal insolvency.

    So Stable coins (nothing) will back U.S. debt (nothing). This echoes the petrodollar setup after USD gold backing ended August 15, 1971, except at least oil was something. However, this seems to be what is behind PT’s allusion that Stable coins are the new oil.

    The U.S. government has lost control of long-term interest rates. This is suicide, unless Stable coins anesthetize the long end of the bond market. So the government says to big banks unless they issue Stable coins they may fail their next stress test, or some other form of extortion. “…Play Argentina games win Argentina prizes…”.

    Here, Luke Gromen admits he doesn’t quite understand it, and he is one of the brightest lights in finance! Then, once the Stable coin market gets big enough all the big banks are on this hook–forced to issue these tokens, receive 0.4% return for doing so, rinse and repeat. It is brute-force financing some sort of debt retirement and re-industrialization, and still as clear as mud.

    The correlation between Stable coins and Bitcoins is positive, he says. This means that as Stable coins expand in use, BC will become more like a neutral reserve asset, mimicking gold. The argument against using gold is the the BRICS are too far ahead in stockpiling it, so using it will cede advantage to them. Therefore this artificial push to monetize nothing as a backing to, well, nothing.

    I’ve never seen Luke Gromen as flustered as he is towards the end of this interview, which may be to his credit. Why should a logical, linear thinker understand such thinking?

    He argues that BC is a harder currency than gold. In the last hour before writing this I’ve changed my mind to disagree with him on this. Because while the number of BC is finite, unlike gold, the number of times BC will be divided is infinite, which simply illuminates its bullshit coefficient.

    If I’m not mistaken I saw another interview last week on another channel in which Gromen is cornered by the interview on which he would choose if his back were against the wall: BC or gold. In that interview I believe he chose gold. So he may be tailoring his answers to satisfy certain audiences.

These guys suggest it is ‘good public health policy’ to engineer these ticks to infest cities and cause red meat allergies to be endemic. ‘A nudge’ they call it.

    I haven’t watched it. I avoid “adult” content with graphic violence or explicit sex. History of PTSD. No recurrence even in active war zones [b”h], but challenging brain function is like breaking the glass – emergency only.
