Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

  1. Yesterday saw a significant event in finance with PT ordering a tariff on Swiss gold bullion.

    Tea-leaf readers are frantically trying to sort out the meaning of this move. In the short term the overnight market is only slightly down–neutral. However speculators/analysts suggest this may kneecap the paper futures market because physical will not be available to close out short positions, leading to a short squeeze. Also, this move creates an arbitrage situation between London and New York.

    One big question is whether this move and all of its complex consequences is an intentional move by PT. Further, is this a step towards the revaluation of the U.S. gold reserve? Yet another question is if the U.S. does not revalue its gold up in $4,000/oz increments (every $4k increase = 1 trillion dollars towards U.S. solvency), will market forces ultimately do it anyway? Is it imperative that the U.S. stay ahead of this curve lest it lose some advantage or utility in Au? What will happen to Ag and its ratio to Au?

    An attempt at interpretation:

    • Yes we are living in interesting times, according to several scientists we are living on the cusp of new technology that will change the world, combine that with the moves by the left to takeover all of the worlds governments and we see a coming turmoil that will make the 20th Century wars look small and calm. Yes we will see revaluing of all gold reserves and the nations with large amounts of gold still in the ground are going to discover that a strong military is necessary if they are going to remain free.

      If you take a hard look at the crime rates in all of the Western Nations you discover that they are all increasing and that we are returning to a time when self defense is required if we are to remain safe. We are seeing a small return to vigilantism as the various neighborhoods start working to protect themselves since the Police clearly are able to. Remember vigilantism only arises when the government system of laws has broken down and the social contract of the government protecting the population is no longer working.

      The coming decades are going to be very interesting and scary.

      • Thanks Richard. And yes, Canada needs a proper military to protect the gold in its ground. But we are a failing state, so will it be Red China or the USA that takes this vast, rich territory?

        • We are closer and are better placed to take over if we have to, I hope/pray that we won’t have to use military force to secure our northern border.

        • When your politicians get out of their way your military is very good, the problem is that you don’t have a lot of people and you have 3 long coasts that must be defended.

          As to your question about the US or China, we can’t let China take over our Northern Border. If push comes to shove we will defend the US at your coasts no matter what you say, I much prefer that you either ask us for help or that your Provinces ask to become either US Territories or States. I realize that given your national government the first option is probably going to happen, this leaves option 2 and your knowledge about this possibility is much better then mine.

    Canada has opened its door wide to infiltration from the Muslim Brotherhood, establishing a beachhead for deeper inroads into the US. Even now, Muslims are probing how much they can annow and terrorize Canadian Jews, without actually getting physical, which will come later.

    • Urgent: Designate the Muslim Brotherhood a Foreign Terrorist Organization – Now

      A bill, H.R.3883 (Muslim Brotherhood Is a Terrorist Organization Act of 2025), was put forward on June 10, 2025 by US Senator Ted Cruz, “[to] require the Secretary of State to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization.”

      This designation is crucial for both US and international security. Even then, if the US government makes the FTO designation, this alone is not enough to slow down the aggression that the Muslim Brotherhood is still generating throughout the world.

      Sadly, the Trump administration, large parts of Congress, US academia and many think tanks have been roped in by Qatar’s lavish influence-peddling to such a degree that it will take much more than adding the MB to the US government’s FTO list to undo the damage, lower the temperature of Islamist extremism and reduce the risk of international terrorism.

      It will require the United States to disentangle itself from its unsavory alliance with Qatar – one which includes selling advanced military technology to the world’s greatest state sponsor of terrorist organizations, no less – and finally to face the degree to which the Muslim Brotherhood, mainly through Qatar, has infiltrated the US and the West.

    • ISGAP is not lightweight.

      Harvard professors Alan Dershowitz and Ruth Wisse were co-chairs of ISGAP’s international board. The Board of Advisors included former Canadian Minister of Justice Irwin Cotler and historian Irving Abella.

      ISGAP’s chairman is Natan Sharansky. Its managing director is Sima Vaknin-Gil, lieutenant colonel and former chief censor of the Israeli Defense Forces.
