Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.
This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.
So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

Last night I commented on how the firearm used in the NYC shooting probably wasn’t a real M4, it wasn’t, it was what is called an AR15 pistol.
The AR15 pistol was created to allow people to thumb their noses at the National Firearms Act of 1934, in that act the idiots in DC decided that no rifle should have a barrel shorter then 16 inches. Anything shorter and it became a Short Barrelled Rifle and required a $200 tax stamp and Federal Government permission to own. Earlier this Century some Second Amendment supporters decided to find a way around that restriction, their solution was to use an AR frame but build a short barrelled firearm that they called an AR pistol and registered with the ATF (when it was manufactured) as a pistol. I ignored these firearms because I didn’t see any reason to own one. However other people decided they wanted them so who am I to say they can’t own them.
In the Big Beautiful Bill the $200 tax stamp was removed from short barrelled rifles and shotguns so all you have to do now is register the firearm with the Feds. Without the tax the registration is against another law that forbids the Feds (and other governments) from keeping lists of people who own firearms. There are many groups who are filing lawsuits to force the Feds to get rid of the National Firearms Act of 1934 since their Tax Stamp has been removed.
Remember the Second Amendment was written and approved by the people who had just fought an 8 year war to gain their freedom and to restore their rights and Englishmen. One of the rights was the right to keep and bear arms (not guns but all arms, knives etc.) for defense of their selves, their families, their property and their rights. No one with 2 working brain cells would think that they would approve an Amendment that said only the Government was allowed to own weapons or would think they would limit the weapons/arms they could own to be less effective then the ones the military/government owned. One of the reasons we are fighting so hard for the Second Amendment is that if the left can change the meaning of that Amendment without a new Amendment they can change all of the Constitution without Amendments and we the people have no rights that the Government politicians and bureaucrats don’t want us to have. The Second Amendment is traced back to the old Saxon Law “Let All Free Men Be Armed” requiring every free man to own a knife or axe that could be used as an infantry weapon. We are witnessing what happens when the people allow the Government to strip them of their right of self defense and don’t want to see that happen to the US.
