Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. He had the world all sewn up. I spotted him as I was going home. His rental house beside mine had a big dead tree ready to fall. It would either come down on his garage, or mine. I stopped to tell him to cut it down.

    It was a weird conversation. “I tell my father I want to retire. I’m thirty-eight years old,” he said. Now there was a bit of veiled bragging. His Italian parents had assembled a collection of many properties over sixty years. Now he’s boasting to a stranger that he can retire on their dime. “Real estate always goes up,” he continued, smugly, his lantern jaw nosing out.

    I didn’t feel like getting into it. I didn’t bother saying it is not real estate going up, but the value of our currency going down. Know what you see, don’t see what you know.

  4. (Richard: Pay close attention to this one, the Dems have been priming the pump for violence for many years, they are now seeing the result of their actions. The more radical of their followers are now starting to use violence against anyone and everyone that doesn’t follow their beliefs. We have seen periods of violence from the left before but I think that this time will surpass even the Civil War. The left has (in my opinion) deliberately created a culture where people think they have a right to decide which laws they will obey, and decide which authority figures they are going to follow and which they are going to fight against.

    Historically summer is the time when wars are fought, the further into summer the more violent things are going to get, and the violence won’t remain in the States but will spread around the world. We are seeing the normal summer violence among the Tards in Europe but we are also seeing some of the Spanish revolt against the tourist.)

    Axios reported a crazy story Monday morning about what House Democrats are saying their supporters are urging them to do to resist President Donald Trump: Get shot, get violent, get arrested, even storm the White House.

    With Republicans holding the White House, both houses of Congress and a 6-3 (sometimes) conservative majority on the Supreme Court, Democrats are powerless to stop much of the Trump agenda.

    With Trump and his administration racking up win after win in Congress, the Supreme Court, the economy, foreign policy and especially the culture, Democrats dropping the F-bomb and other swear words in everyday messaging, giving marathon speeches and holding “No Kings” protests aren’t working to satisfy the masses of Democrat voters consumed by Trump Derangement Syndrome. They want blood.

    In the first four years of the Trump administration, Republicans were shot, Trump supporters attacked, Trump was investigated and impeached (twice!) on phony charges drummed up by the Deep State and rioters tried to storm the White House.

    In the four years after his first term, Democrats jailed Trump supporters, tried over and over to jail Trump, tried to bankrupt him and keep him off the ballot.

    In 2024, two would be assassins were inexplicably able to get close to Trump, with one assassination attempt wounding him and two supporters while killing supporter Corey Comperatore.

    All those efforts to stop Trump have failed, so now Democrat voters are demanding elected Democrats sacrifice themselves.

    What we’re hearing: The grassroots wants more. “Some of them have suggested … what we really need to do is be willing to get shot” when visiting ICE facilities or federal agencies, a third House Democrat told Axios.

    “Our own base is telling us that what we’re doing is not good enough … [that] there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public,” the lawmaker said.

    A fourth House Democrat said constituents have told them “civility isn’t working” and to prepare for “violence … to fight to protect our democracy.”

    A fifth House Democrat told Axios that “people online have sent me crazy s*** … told me to storm the White House and stuff like that,” though they added that “there’s always people on the internet saying crazy stuff.”

    Many lawmakers said these voters tend to be white, well-educated and live in upscale suburban or urban neighborhoods.

    “What I have seen is a demand that we get ourselves arrested intentionally or allow ourselves to be victims of violence, and … a lot of times that’s coming from economically very secure white people,” said an eighth House Democrat.

    “Not only would that be a gift to Donald Trump, not only would it make the job of Republicans in Congress easier if we were all mired in legal troubles … [we are] a group that is disproportionately people of color, women, LGBTQ people — people who do not fare very well in prison.”

    But this report speaks to a dangerous tide within the Democratic Party. Will their supporters be satisfied with peaceful resistance and elections, or will their Trump Derangement Syndrome turn terminal and lead to bloodshed?

      A man was shot and killed this morning after he ambushed Border Patrol agents, armed with a rifle and tactical gear, outside of a Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas.

      This comes after a Texas police officer was shot and wounded in the neck late Friday night in an apparent ambush attack by an armed group outside the ICE Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, located just south of Dallas-Fort Worth.

      The latest incident reportedly may have left one police officer who responded injured.

      Local and federal police returned fire on the man at the McAllen, Texas, facility on Monday, killing him.

      Los Angeles’s failed Democrat Mayor Karen Bass confronted federal agents and tried to obstruct lawful immigration enforcement on Monday morning.

      Federal agents descended on MacArthur Park in the sanctuary city of Los Angeles on Monday to conduct an immigration raid.

      Fox 11 Los Angeles reported:

      An apparent federal immigration sweep occurred at MacArthur Park in Los Angeles’ Westlake District late Monday morning.

      What we know: Aerial images from SkyFOX showed several agents surrounding the famed park at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and S. Alvarado Street.

      A black Department of Homeland Security helicopter was seen overhead, while agents on the ground were in armored vehicles and on horseback.

      By 11:07 a.m., LA Mayor Karen Bass was at the scene in a powder blue suit. She was quickly surrounded by local media as well as federal agents. A short time later, she left the area in a city-issued vehicle.

      • Last week one city manager who seemed to be drunk was calling on the street gangs to go out and attack ICE and other police to stop them from arresting and deporting illegal aliens. The 90 active duty troops were there to act as bodyguards for the police and to tell the street gangs that if they wanted trouble they would be messing with the best combat troops in the world. No one took up the challenge but as the summer continues there will be other changes and some of the left wing militias (to an extent that is what the gangs are) will attack the police and some of them will be stupid enough to attack the military helping provide security.

        Never forget the goal of the left is the total destruction of Western Civilization and the nations that form it, they have gone so far they can’t pull back without destroying the lefts ability to be a major player on the worlds stage and possibly take over Western nations for close to a century.

        Democratic lawmakers are getting a harsh reality check, according to a new Axios report that claims many of their voters want violence.

        Not just any old Democratic Party violence, either – but the blood of the electorate.

        Axios quoted several Democrats who were stunned by the rhetoric they’re now hearing from their own base in a piece that was published early Monday morning.

        One of nine House Democrats who spoke to Axios off the record said, ”Some of them have suggested … what we really need to do is be willing to get shot.”

        The lawmaker added, “Our own base is telling us that what we’re doing is not good enough … [that] there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public.”

        These weren’t isolated statements.

        Axios noted that multiple Democratic lawmakers and aides said they were alarmed by the number of rank-and-file party voters who had told them in recent months that violence was the answer to what they viewed as America’s political crisis.

        The publication added that some of these voters said they were fed up with what they viewed as a system that is stacked against them.

        Statements Democrats were willing to make without their name attached to them include, but are not limited to:

        “[Civility] isn’t working…”

        “[Prepare for violence] … to fight to protect our democracy.”

        “It’s like … the Roman coliseum. People just want more and more of this spectacle.”

        “What I have seen is a demand that we get ourselves arrested intentionally or allow ourselves to be victims of violence, and … a lot of times that’s coming from economically very secure white people.”

        No one should be surprised that so-called progressive voters are experiencing bloodlust.

        For nearly a decade, Democrats have pushed nonstop doomsday rhetoric about President Donald Trump and the conservative movement.

        They’ve compared him to Hitler. They’ve called him a dictator. They’ve claimed without evidence that the country is experiencing a death rattle.

        These people incited not one, but two assassination attempts against Trump last summer — that we know of.

        Now, Democrats are realizing that their constantly crying wolf and stoking fear has led much of their base to take them seriously.

        Axios reported that lawmakers who have faced the brunt of violent opponents are trying to calm tensions.

        But the damage is done. This is what happens when partisan media and elected officials normalize panic and desensitize imbalanced people to violence.

      Democrat House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries apparently doesn’t know that aliens living in this country illegally are not law-abiding.

      In an appearance on ABC’s The View on Monday, the clueless New York Congressman claimed that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are “going after law-abiding immigrant families.”

      These so-called “law-abiding” families are undocumented or, in other words, illegal, and they are here in violation of U.S. federal law. They are felons.

      When asked by co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin about Democrats’ calls to, once again, defund the police and target ICE, Jeffries appeared to signal support for defunding ICE, which he accused of “overly aggressive behavior,” and claimed that the American people did not vote for mass deportations.

      “It’s not what the American people actually, in my view, voted for,” Jeffries said. “Donald Trump and Republicans promised to go after violent felons. But instead, they’re going after law-abiding immigrant families.”

      Alyssa Farrah-Griffin: Some Democrats, amid the criticisms of ICE right now to do these ICE raids have started calling for defunding ICE. Do you think that that’s effective going into the midterms, and do you support those calls?

      Jeffries: Well, I definitely think that we need aggressive oversight as it relates to the overly aggressive behavior that we’ve seen, you know, from ICE, from the Department of Homeland Security. It’s not what the American people actually, in my view, voted for. Donald Trump and Republicans promised to go after violent felons. But instead, they’re going after law-abiding immigrant families, and in fact, in some cases, deporting American citizens and children–some with cancer. America is better than this, and that’s the reality.

      In terms of what House Democrats stand for, we believe that in this country, you work hard and you play by the rules, you should be able to experience the American dream. You should be able to afford to live the good life. And we believe that that’s a good paying job, good healthcare, good housing, good education for your children, and a good retirement. And a good retirement, by the way, means keep your hands off of Social Security and Medicare.

      The American people voted for the largest deportation operation in U.S. history, including the so-called noncriminal aliens, the farm workers, the hospitality workers, the families, and children who were smuggled or trafficked across the border. What the American people did not vote for is what Jeffries and the Democrats are trying to push Trump to pass, which is amnesty for farm and hospitality workers.

      As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump on Thursday revealed that legislation is being drafted to apparently grant amnesty to some illegal aliens in the agriculture and hospitality industries while speaking in Des Moines, Iowa. The President actually called his supporters who would oppose this proposal “serious radical right people.”

      And now, rumors are swirling that the President is being pressured to sign a bipartisan mass amnesty deal for the illegals who are in our country illegally.

She isn’t the first and will not be the last to state that all collectivism is is a new wording for slavery. The justification for the slavery differs in wording from what was used in the past but it all boils down to “We are your natural born betters and you just bow down and let us make all of the decisions for you.”)
