Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.
This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.
So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.
This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

I have yet to use any AI tools. I have yet to use X, Instagram, Facebook, or any other social media. I have used Skype only when forced to by business or legal matters. I am allergic to latex, too.
I am allergic to religion in a passive manner, in the sense that it is an external, powerful force capable of seducing many people, so I am wary of it. Having said this I plan to visit a church this Sunday out of curiosity. As Orban recently said in Budapest there were times in Hungary’s history when the country was preserved by its Christian roots because all else had failed. This is his modern-day Hail Mary. It is important to understand the positive benefits of religion. Israel is the premier example. It is also important to understand when the all-powerful State wants to inject you with poison.
The internet is our oyster, and AI its new overdrive gear. “…Don’t get into it…” Like what? A born-again Jesus freak? Because it smells like the beginnings of new religion to me. Omniscient, “sympathetic”, helpful–no wonder the defective such as that married father falls in love with his very own private ones and zeros. I believe this man to be something of a very short-lived anomaly, statistically, because many more are sure to fall for the god who comes from the machine. The algorithms mechanically smell this and mechanically play to it. (Mechanically, sans sentience! Sans cognizance!)
Deus ex machine more accurately means god from the machine, not god is in the machinery. I think this is an important distinction, because for god to be in the machine means he was placed there by programmers. For this to be the case the programmers, themselves, would have to be gods. I have met computer programmers, and they strike me as fairly mortal for their love of junk food, and Aspie regularity. Therefore, any god-like beliefs derived from the machine is the product of human self-delusion. Sure, psychological manipulations will be programmed in, but not god. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMuEnNxX1E8
I wouldn’t mind at all being spacewrecked with Linda Harrison. The only problem with this is that I wouldn’t know if I could go home at the end of the movie. So what else comes ex machine?
If events underway are of existential magnitude, then in the broader timeline it is a mutational event. This doesn’t necessarily mean it is a mass-extinction event, but rather a mass-adaptational event wherein some people adjust to non-collectivization, contrary to the collectivization enforced by The Machine, which is doubtlessly programmed by collectivists.
Healthy adaptation requires more people to become more difficult people. I realize I am preaching to the converted, here, but once one knows who one is, one is more comfortable in one’s skin. It is then that one can help the spread of rebellion not with anger, but with an air of patience, certainty, and admirable human autonomy.
So, optimistically, Ex machine is a successful adaptation, some day:

Read the Bible Johnny, and be careful, once you have Jesus in your heart, you will fear nothing. “Be not afraid for thou art with thee all the while”.
I haven’t used that junk either.
Because I fear I’d become a junkie.
– Same reason I never tried cocaine, I’d just love it.
Lol, Yucki! You are very wise!

Alleged arsonists accidentally set themselves alight in Port Pirie, SA

Security camera footage shows the ridiculous moment a group of would-be arsonists accidentally set their getaway vehicle on fire.
South Australia Police have released the footage from a residence in Port Pirie, 200km north of Adelaide, showing a car pulling up alongside a fenced-off building at night.
A man hops out of the vehicle, which remains idle, and begins to douse the area in liquid.
[..]
Footage shows the inside of the vehicle become engulfed in flames as it begins to roll forward, before three perpetrators can be seen spilling out of the vehicle on both sides.
SA Police said the men then “ran off, abandoning the car in the street”.
“It is extremely likely they have suffered significant burns or injuries in the fire and police urge them to seek medical attention,” Police said.

GroenLinks-PvdA proposal for arms embargo on Israel met with surprise, fierce criticism
https://nltimes.nl/2025/06/20/groenlinks-pvda-proposal-arms-embargo-israel-met-surprise-fierce-criticism
A GroenLinks-PvdA proposal for a complete arms embargo on Israel was met with surprise, resistance, and fierce criticism from other parties in the Tweede Kamer, the lower house of the Dutch parliament, NOS reports.
GL-PvdA parliamentarian Kati Piri proposed the arms embargo during a debate on Thursday. The party wants the Netherlands to specifically stop supplying parts for Israel’s air defense system, the Iron Dome. The left-wing party’s turn to more extreme measures against Israel came last week when Israel started bombing Iran, thereby escalating the conflict in the Middle East “recklessly,” according to party leader Frans Timmermans.
The air defense system has made Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu feel “invulnerable” to retaliation, so he is attacking other countries in the Middle East with impunity, Timmermans said. “We have to find a way to show Netanyahu that he is on the wrong path, has to de-escalate, and has to sit at the negotiation table.”
The right-wing parties in the Tweede Kamer called the proposal “bizarre and unwise” (VVD), “crazy, indefensible, and extremely dangerous” (BBB), and “too bizarre for words” (SGP). The NSC said the proposal “shocked” the party “to death.” The PVV said: “Their hatred of Israel and growing anti-Semitism knows no bounds.”
The center parties are also against the Netherlands stopping the supply of parts to the Israeli air defense system. ChristenUnie called it “completely irresponsible,” and the CDA found it “very unwise.” Even the progressive Volt said that a complete arms embargo “goes a step too far.”
According to the Tweede Kamer, innocent Israeli citizens will be in danger if Israel can no longer defend itself against attacks. Almost all parties believe the Netherlands should do more to stop the Israeli government’s violence, but an arms embargo is going too far.
The Tweede Kamer voted by roll call on the GL-PvdA proposal and, as expected, it did not achieve a majority. 99 MPs voted against, 35 in favor. In addition to GL-PvdA, SP, DENK, and PvdD also supported the plans.
The right-wing parties will almost certainly seize this proposal to paint GroenLinks-PvdA and Timmermans as “radical” in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Timmermans seemed unconcerned when NOS asked him about this. “This is not the first time that they have called me radical, and they can do it another 10,000 times,” he said.
