This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    Meanwhile, we in the northeast wonder if we are entering a mini ice age. We cannot remember such a cold Spring. To find real data on this possibility we choose to look at sites such as this because sun spot activity strangely correlates more accurately to events on our ground than communist brainwashing activities.

    The shooting occurred around 9:15 p.m. near the intersection of 3rd and F Streets NW, in front of the museum and just behind the FBI’s Washington Field Office and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

    The event was the American Jewish Committee’s Young Diplomats Reception, aimed at empowering Jewish leaders to advocate on behalf of critical domestic and global issues facing the Jewish community.       El Al had one mission after October 7: Keep the skies open

      At the Jerusalem Post Conference in New York, Sharon Brownstone, General Counsel of El Al, spoke about the airline’s crucial role after the attack on October 7 and its continued commitment to serving as Israel’s aerial lifeline. Her remarks provided a rare behind-the-scenes look at how Israel’s national airline operated under crisis conditions.

      “I believe on October 7, it was very clear to El Al what our responsibility is as the flag carrier of Israel,” Brownstone said. “We had one mission, and it was to keep the sky open, and the bridge from Israel to the world open.”

      Brownstone recalled the chaos of those first days, as demand for flights surged. “Our call center gets about 6,000 calls per day—on October 7, we received 60,000 calls. We needed to bring people who were stuck all over the world back to Israel… soldiers who wanted to come back and fight, medical personnel, civilians. El Al employees worked day and night just to keep this ‘air bridge’ open and bring everybody back home.”

      Flying in wartime came with new and unprecedented challenges. “We were flying under fire. I don’t think there is any chapter in the books on how to operate an airline under fire,” she said. “Just imagine what it is like to have a civilian airline share airspace with the Israeli Air Force during an active conflict. Combat pilots were telling us where we could fly, or what routes we should use.”

      She noted that roughly 10% of El Al’s workforce—pilots, technicians, and other staff—were called to military service. Simultaneously, the airline faced constant GPS disruptions and safety threats, with ongoing risk assessments conducted by the management team to determine how to safely continue operations.

  8. Some of us have worried about an apparent trend within MAGA: the return to 1930s isolationism evoked by the recycled phrase from that era, “America First”. Glued together with jooo-hate sludge. Just as menacing now as it was then.

    But this may be waaayyy more apparent than substantive. Simply: “Influencers” and “personalities” paid and their voices amplified by filthy lucre.

    At one time we ‘taught’ the Orks technology. We actually forced them to look for a solution.… Perhaps it makes sense to create a real technological headquarters…

    So no one told them about the hit near Kiev that killed off the very best tech specialists in the country. Including my Russiki’s son.
