Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

  1. Big government does not go quietly into the good night when vacating a dependent marketplace, does it.

    The electric vehicle industry would be niche if not for massive subsidies. Imagine if all the money spent on EVs had gone into making even more efficient internal combustion engines. Why, we could possibly have cars that go further on a tank of than, say, a 1984 Volkswagon Rabbit!

    Let EV’s find their life or death naturally.

  3. On Germany’s descent back into Crazyland.

    There really does seem to be something to cycle theory. The Fourth Turning by Neil Howe describes the four seasons based on 20-year generations. Here we are (voilá) some 80 years after Germany’s last dance with collective brain failure, and here it all goes again even though it is still apologizing for the last round. Actually, its current leftist assholes are leveraging the ghost of Naziism to bring Naziism back. Pretty cute trick, but old hat now that we’ve seen the Left’s use of projection ad nauseum. 80 years is just long enough to have most of the people who witnessed the mistakes of the past die off. Gee, makes me wonder if all the killing of old people during the plandemic was to expedite the revolution.

  6. Why did Donald Trump praise a global, freak like Mark Carney? Why did Donald Trump interfere in Canada’s election? Why did he desert all the Canadians who thought he was a righteous man? Now the global freak’s party say they have one more seat, winning by one vote. Where do the “special ballots fit in? Will the government keep counting until they have a majority? Do people actually believe this Liberal, criminal bullshit?

    A recount, another recount, then a win by one vote deserves a by-election. STOP THE STEAL.

    • Trump is President of the US, he has made it clear that 1) his agenda is America First and 2) he wants Canada to be part of the US so we have control of all of the North American land in the Arctic. He wants this to protect the US and prevent Communist China from taking control of Canada. He is never going to put Canada First until they are part of the US. The worse things get in Canada the quicker they decide to join the US.

      • Might be the way the prospect is being introduced. This isn’t a banana republic, the people understand English. And they’ve been true allies of ours for a very long time.

        Why make it sound like a threat from a bully? I’d never fold to that kind of offensive language.

  7. So I posted a comment about a man I USED TO ADMIRE, interfering in the Canadian election, Donald J. Trump. I then said the Liberals need to call a by-election in a riding they counted, counted again, and then one by one vote. will they keep counting until they have a majority for the man who was placed as Canada Prime Minister?

    We are about a week away from the globalists taking their vote on the pandemic / Polaris Event/ Treaty.

      My admiration for the guy is tempered by his careless manner of diplomacy. Makes some egregious threat or boast, then reverses himself. Doesn’t make for confidence-building, something the country needs for longer than his lame-duck term in office.

    Follow-up reporting from Haaretz found Witkoff debating with himself publicly: “The source told Haaretz that Witkoff’s criticism of the Israeli government was leaked at his request. Witkoff’s office denied that the administration is pressuring Israel to reach a deal.”

    So Witkoff is criticizing Israel, then making sure that criticism gets out to the press, then denying that he’s criticizing them at all. If Witkoff himself is also Haaretz’s source, he will have accomplished the rare feat of putting together a new Mideast Quartet consisting entirely of Steve Witkoff….”

  11. Newark Airport Radar Fails Again — Five Controllers Already on Trauma Leave Over Prior Outage

    Nearly 80 flights were cancelled, and over 60 were delayed at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey after air traffic control radar went down for the third time in just two weeks.

    Five controllers have already taken trauma leave over a 90-second outage on April 28.

    The radar also briefly went down on Friday.

    On Sunday, the Federal Aviation Administration grounded flights at the airport for 45 minutes.

    ABC 7 reports:

    Air traffic controllers on Friday could be heard telling a FedEx plane that their screens went dark and then asked them to tell their company to put pressure on to get the problem fixed. In another transmission, the controller is heard telling a private jet arriving from Cyprus that they just had a brief radar outage and to stay at or above 3,000 feet in case they can’t get in touch during their descent.

    Friday’s outage was the third time in two weeks that radars failed at the facility in Philadelphia where controllers manage the airspace in and around Newark.

    The week prior, an outage at Newark caused ATC computer screens to go dark for roughly 60 to 90 seconds and prevented controllers from talking to aircraft during that time, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the incident. As a result, the FAA briefly halted all departures to the airport.

    Following the outage, several controllers went on medical leave, calling the experience a traumatic event. The controllers are entitled to at least 45 days away from the job and must be evaluated by a doctor before they can return to work.

    The FAA issued a statement about the flight stoppage saying, “There was a telecommunications issue at Philadelphia TRACON Area C, which guides aircraft in and out of Newark Liberty International Airport airspace. The FAA briefly slowed aircraft in and out of the airport while we ensured redundancies were working as designed. Operations have returned to normal, get real-time updates at http://www.fly.faa.gov.”

    Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy told NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he plans to reduce the number of flights in and out of the airport for the “next several weeks.”

    “We want to have a number of flights that if you book your flight, you know it’s going to fly, right?” Duffy said. “That is the priority. So you don’t get to the airport, wait four hours, and then get delayed.”

    The US is currently facing a shortage of approximately 3,000 air traffic controllers.

That share is well above the 1.6 percent of Americans who identify as transgender or nonbinary, according to the Pew Research Center, and more than double the 5 percent of people who identify as transgender or nonbinary under 30.

    Albrta’s Premiere Danielle Smith has floated a referendum on leaving Canada – and many citizens want to join the US.

    For someone who isn’t paying close attention, the current US-Canada bilateral relations seem like a defeat for the Donald J. Trump administrations, right?

    Well, not so fast.

    After highly unpopular Justin Trudeau resigned as Canadian PM, the ‘Trump tornado’ scrambled the internal politics in the northern neighbor, as the Conservatives could not navigate the tariffs threat and the suggestion that Canada should become the 51st US state.

    So, yes – Mark Craney got yet another term as PM for the deranged Liberals – but there’s more to the story, besides a new trade deal that will end the US heavily subsidizing the Canadian economy.

    It turns out that Alberta Province’s push to leave Canada is getting more serious by the day. And you’ll be surprised to know that many citizens want to join the good old US of A.

    New York Post reported:

    “Premier Danielle Smith announced this week that the oil-rich province could hold its first-ever referendum on independence in 2026, as the area’s pro-51st state activists ramp up calls to ditch the Great White North in favor of the star-spangled banner. ‘Staying with Canada is finished’, Alberta resident Steve Harvey, 52, told The Post. ‘We’ve been an eagle locked up in a cage for decades because of Canada. It’s time that we’re set free’.”

    Alberta sees its prosperity as being usurped by a Liberal establishment embracing climate nonsense policies, and killing the province’s oil industry.

    “’They’ve blocked new pipelines, cancelled various oil and gas projects and banned the very tanker ships needed to carry these resources to new markets’, Smith said this week in a livestreamed address to Albertans.

    ‘We just want to be free to develop and export that incredible wealth of resources we have for the benefit of our families and future generations’.”
    Carney’s victory for a third Liberal party consecutive term became the point of no retunr for many Albertans.

    At a separation rally last week in front of the Edmonton legislature people urged citizens to write to the White House to express support to join the union.

    Mark Carney’s Liberal win was the last straw for many.

    “’I made it clear that Albertans will no longer tolerate the way we’ve been treated by the federal Liberals over the past 10 years’, a fed-up Smith warned in March after meeting new Prime Minister Mark Carney.”

    Recent opinion poll has support for Alberta separation at 36%. Premier Smith will trigger a referendum if a citizen-led petition can gather signatures from 10% of eligible voters.

    Islamist extremists in jails should be segregated from other prisoners, a leading counter-extremism expert has said.
    In an article for The Telegraph, Ghaffar Hussain, a former officer in the Government’s Prevent counter-terrorism programme, said that the UK should follow the example of countries such as France, Spain and the Netherlands, where extremist prisoners were often separated from the general prison population.
    His comments come in the wake of a violent attack on officers by the brother of the Manchester Arena bomber.
    There are three “separation units” in jails in England and Wales, including one at the high-security HMP Frankland jail in county Durham, where Hashem Abedi, the Manchester bomb plotter, attacked three officers with two home-made knives and boiling cooking oil.
    However, Mr Hussain said that the units designed to isolate the most dangerous extremists were being under-used – two, including HMP Frankland, are currently out of commission – which “raises concerns about the system’s capacity to manage the increasing number of terrorist inmates”.
    This weekend it was revealed that Axel Rudakubana, the Southport killer, had allegedly thrown boiling water over an officer at HMP Belmarsh on Thursday. The alleged attack is being investigated by police.

    It also shows how our prison system is allowing radical ideologies to fester and grow, so they can then spill back out on to our streets.
    The attack is not an isolated case. In 2019, Usman Khan, a convicted bomb plotter, knifed two young people to death at Fishmongers’ Hall in London shortly after his release.
    Similarly, Sudesh Amman, released in early 2020, injured two individuals in a stabbing spree in Streatham before being shot dead by police. These incidents underscore a troubling pattern – the UK’s prison system is failing to de-radicalise extremist offenders and, in some cases, may be exacerbating the problem.

    There is a real lack of expertise in prisons on how to counter extremist ideologies. Without a clear grasp of the motivations driving radicalisation, any attempted interventions often miss the mark. For instance, the flagship government Healthy Identity Intervention programme, designed to address extremist beliefs, has been widely derided for its ineffectiveness.

    Reports have said that prison staff often lack the training and confidence to distinguish between genuine religious practices and extremist behaviour. This uncertainty can lead to either overreaction or, more commonly, inaction.

    Ian Acheson, a former prison governor who led a 2016 review into Islamist extremism in prisons, highlighted this issue, stating that there was an “institutional timidity” and an unwillingness to confront the problem directly. He noted that the prison service had been “asleep for the last six years” in understanding the nature and extent of this problem.
