Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

  3. Recently I mentioned having a Muslim coworker, to be inclusive this month’s lead on the company lunch picked a halal restaurant but I’ll eat something else.
    He’s mentioned his uncle though we’ll into his 70s recently took on two more wives , in conversation saying “in my religion you can have up to four wives” and these wives are in their 20s.

    Last month he struck conversation about religion and blahed on the ‘logic’ of the koran the usual spiel how an illiterate man would know so many things about the universe that only science is proving now.
    He told a coworker that maybe he should become muslim that he’s reverted others before!!
    I was invited out to an eid dinner after work with the well-meaning coworker and muslim , i declined .

    • My advice: You can thank him and gently let him know that his prophet grew up with the same religion as your prophet, ie Jewish. What a wonderful.thing to have in common! Do not engage further than this.

      (His Uncle has something in common with forefather Jacob, also known as “strives with God,” Isra-el. I wouldn’t share that unless he asks.)

  6. Speaking with a friend this morning about gold’s overnight rise I said it was coming from the 6T rollover on U.S. T-bills that are having trouble finding buyers. Here’s another take from a different analyst. He says it’s not reaction to any particular crisis, but more a paradigm shift being created by multiple fractures in the world ie: Ukraine, tariffs, China, and whatever other large events are going on.   11. Google is facing a class action lawsuit in the UK for £5 billion ($6.6 billion) in potential damages over allegations that the tech giant abused its stranglehold on the search market to drive up advertising prices.

    CNBC reports that a class action lawsuit filed Wednesday in the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal claims that Google abused its position to restrict competing search engines and bolster its dominant position in the market, making itself the only viable destination for online search advertising. The suit is being brought on behalf of hundreds of thousands of UK-based organizations that used Google’s search advertising services from January 2011 up until when the claim was filed.

  12. A suspected illegal migrant from Afghanistan appeared in court this week, facing accusations of threatening to kill Nigel Farage.

    Fayaz Khan, 25, of no fixed abode, was brought before the Westminster magistrates’ court on Tuesday in London on charges of threats to kill, the BBC reported.

    The court was told that Khan allegedly made several warnings to harm Reform UK leader Nigel Farage on social media in October of last year.

    Prosecutor David Burns asserted that Khan had posted a video to the TikTok platform, in which he allegedly said that he would come to England and would “find Mr Farage to make him stop talking about him”.

  13. The United States was wrong to neuter European power and create vassal states in the 1950s through events like the Suez crisis, Vice President JD Vance has said.

    Europe and the United States are indivisible because of their shared culture and history, but Vice President Vance argued in an interview with Unherd that Europe’s relationship is best served by being more self-reliant and even resisting America’s direction of travel when bad decisions are being made.

    He told the publication: “It’s not good for Europe to be the permanent security vassal of the United States”.

    The Trump White House, particularly Vance, has been open about its qualms about the very real deficiencies in European defence and their position as effective American security clients.

  15. Karmelo Anthony — who is charged with murder after the fatal stabbing of fellow teen Austin Metcalf at a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas — is allegedly living in a $900,000 home in a gated community after being released from jail on a reduced $250,000 bond.

    Anthony, 17, is reportedly living with his family at the expensive home in the community of Richwoods, where the rent is estimated to be $3,500 a month, the Daily Mail reported. The home had a white Suburban, a black Acura, and a sedan in the driveway as of Tuesday.

    A neighbor told the outlet the family had just bought a new car.

    “He got a new car,” the resident alleged. “If you look at the license plate, it’s got a paper tag and it says it expires June 4.”

  18. The Supreme Court in London has ruled that, for the purposes of judging matters of equality, terms like ‘woman’ and ‘sex’ refer to biological sex, not gender.

    Campaigners have hailed the “death” of self-identification as the UK Supreme Court in Westminster ruled on Wednesday morning that the UK’s Equality Act 2010 refers to “biological women and biological sex”.

    The court has ruled: “The definition of sex in the Equality Act 2010 makes clear that the concept of sex is binary, a person is either a woman or a man.”

    The documents and evidence seem to suggest so, and it’s a very ironic twist of fate, considering this woman prosecuted Donald Trump for real estate dealings in which he didn’t do anything remotely criminal.

    According to a report from Greg Wehner at Fox News, director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Bill Pulte accused James of allegedly falsifying records “to meet certain lending requirements and receive favorable loan terms.” From Wehner:

  20. GA Sheriff Issues Warning After Armed Citizen Stops ‘Deranged’ Man From Climbing Through Child’s Window

    A sheriff in Georgia is praising the actions of an armed homeowner who stopped a would-be intruder from gaining access to a child’s bedroom, while also issuing a warning to other criminals in the county.

    Butts County Sheriff Gary Long says a man named Abdul Aquil is in custody in connection with the break-in, and is lucky to be alive after his encounter with the armed citizen. Aquil allegedly first tried to gain entry to the home through a bedroom window with a child on the other side, but the child’s father heard the commotion and interrupted the burglar as he was crawling inside.

    Long said the father of the child “challenged the intruder and the suspect exited the window.”

    According to Long, the father then went to his room and got a gun as Aquil busted the living room window, trying to get inside.

    The father fired his gun, missing the suspect, but causing the suspect to run away.

    Long said in a Facebook post, “The shot fired by the homeowner was UNFORTUNATELY about 8 inches too high, missing the intruder, which would have resulted in his death.”

    Thankfully the errant shot didn’t hit anyone else either, but it did cause the suspect to turn tail and run away. Deputies caught up with Aquil a short distance away and took him into custody after what the sheriff’s office calls a “brief altercation” with law enforcement, and at last report he’s cooling his heels in the Butts County Jail.

    Long, meanwhile, has two messages for residents of Butts County. In that Facebook post he “strongly” encouraged citizens who can legally possess a firearm to get their hands on one and attend a gun safety class hosted by the sheriff’s office, adding that “if the homeowner last night was not a gun owner, I am afraid the outcome could have been much different.

    The sheriff’s message for those in Butts County who might be thinking of engaging in a little late-night burglary, on the other hand, is a warning that they should be aware they may very well come across a homeowner who won’t miss.

    “To the criminals, listen up and pay close attention, if you decide to break into a home in Butts County, make sure you are ready to meet your maker. My staff and I will spend as much time as it takes to make sure the citizens of this County are well-trained, educated and capable of making great shots to protect their family and homes. So, unless you are prepared to die, I would highly recommend you to find a home in another County to burglarize, because this is not the one.”

    Aquil is currently facing a litany of charges; including burglary, home invasion, terroristic threats, first-degree cruelty to children, and second-degree criminal damage to property. If convicted, Aquil could spend the next decade or more behind bars. In fact, Georgia’s home invasion statute has a mandatory minimum ten-year sentence, so Aquil is guaranteed to live out the next few years in custody if he’s found guilty on that charge alone.

    The armed homeowner who defended their family isn’t facing any charges, and it sounds like it didn’t take investigators long at all to figure out that his errant shot was a justifiable use of force. Some range time might be in order, but thankfully the shot he fired didn’t need to strike its intended target to stop the threat posed by the would-be intruder.
