Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. Viktor Orban is a lightning rod. He has been called every name in the book while winning majority after scrutinized majority in federal elections. It is far past ironic that he is branded a tyrant while Western populist leaders are now routinely “cancelled”, as per Vlad’s article yesterday.

    Now, Orban pokes his finger in the eye of the ongoing dialectical attack on Israel. Western media intentionally ignores Hamas using human shields in hospitals and schools, Israeli treatment of injured Palestinians in their hospitals, and the true prevalence of media-stoked anti-Semitism that is everywhere. The European (Soviet) Union would love to get their hands on him. If they could kill him or imprison him for life they surely would, if their brutal attacks on Fico, Trump and all the others are taken into account. He must have good security.

This year, the march featured the participation of acTÚa FAMILIA in both countries.

    Patriotic movements in Spain have taken to platforms like Twitter (now X) to proudly defend their national identity, reclaiming the Reconquista as a historical symbol of struggle and Christian resistance against cultural invasion.

    Europe is at a critical point. The question is whether these protests, which have emerged during Europe’s awakening this year, will succeed in tightening immigration policies or if the prevailing progressive agenda will continue allowing uncontrolled immigration.

    What is clear is that the call to preserve Christian heritage and security is resonating strongly among growing sectors of the European population.

    Come to think of it, US President Donald J. Trump never had any reasons to like Volodymyr Zelensky.

    After all, both the Ukrainian leader and his grey eminence Andriy Yermak were connected to Dem’s first sham impeachment push.

    As Trump was horrified watching Zelensky play ailing Joe Biden ‘like a fiddle’ for untold billions, he also had to watch the Kiev regime’s leader campaign for the Democrats on a visit to an ammunition factory.

    By the time the ‘modestly successful comedian’ set himself on metaphorical fire in the Oval Office, the relationship had soured.
    Trump has no reasons to like Zelensky.

    Trump called him a ‘dictator without elections’, and blamed him for involving the US in an unwinnable war.

    So, as Zelensky backtracks on the agreed deals and badmouths his administration in the press, Trump warned that he was going to have ‘big, big problems’.

    And the shift in priorities was immediately visible, as Pete Hegseth will reportedly not attend the ‘Ramstein Group’ gathering of 50 countries that coordinate military support for Ukraine.

    This marks the first time that the ‘Ukraine Defense Contact Group’ will lack the presence of the American secretary of defense.
    The days when Zelensky ‘played Biden like a fiddle’ are long over.

    Defense News reported:

    “The group will meet April 11 in Brussels and will be chaired by Germany and Britain. Hegseth attended the last meeting in February, though he became the first U.S. defense secretary in the coalition’s 26 meetings not to lead it.

    Hegseth won’t join in person and isn’t expected to join virtually either, according to a U.S. official, who like others was granted anonymity to discuss the planning. In fact, the Pentagon is unlikely to send any senior representatives, which typically join the secretary on such trips.”
    Hegseth scolded Europeans over their lack of defense preparedness.

    It’s unclear so far if and how US officials will participate in the support forums for Ukraine.

    “For Europeans, the secretary’s absence is the latest sign of the Trump administration’s lower-priority approach to arming Ukraine – a point Hegseth made clear at the last meeting in February.”

    In the last meeting, Hegseth blasted the Europeans for simply relying on Americans to defend their continent. He also ruled out the possibility of NATO membership for Ukraine.
    Trump alerted Zelensky that he was ‘going to have big, big problems’.

    If the Ukrainians lack key U.S. intelligence and military supplies, the chance of a catastrophic defeat increases markedly.

    “The Pentagon has $3.85 billion left in authority to send Ukraine military equipment, but no money left to replace it. Leaders in Congress have said they have no plans to pass more.”

    Europol has busted a massive international pedophile network based in Germany, the agency announced on Wednesday.

    According to Europol, authorities successful raided an expansive child exploitation network operating across more than 30 countries.

    The takedown resulted in numerous arrests connected to the distribution of illegal child abuse content.

    The European Union’s law enforcement agency confirmed that the illicit online hub, operating on the Darknet under the name “Kidflix,” was brought offline through a coordinated investigation led by the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office in Germany.

    Kidflix, one of the largest paedophile platforms in the world, has been shut down in an international operation against child sexual exploitation.

    Authorities estimate that the now-defunct platform serviced a staggering global user base of approximately 1.8 million individuals.

    “Operation Stream has been the largest operation ever handled by Europol’s experts in fighting child sexual exploitation, and one of the biggest cases supported by the law enforcement agency in recent years,” the press release states.

    Investigations have already extended to 35 different countries, and so far, law enforcement has apprehended 79 suspects, with around 1,400 additional individuals under scrutiny, more than 100 of whom are believed to be located within Germany.

    Launched in 2021, the site quickly became one of the most expansive operations of its kind, with European investigators labeling it the largest ever uncovered on the continent.

    The digital repository reportedly hosted over 91,000 videos depicting child exploitation, with new material being uploaded at an alarming rate—averaging about three to four videos per hour.

    After paying for access, users were able to stream or contribute content involving the sexual abuse of minors.

    “The digital dimension has driven a rapid evolution in online child sexual exploitation, offering offenders a borderless platform to contact and groom victims, as well as to create, store, and exchange child sexual abuse material,” said Europol’s Executive Director Catherine De Bolle.

    ”Some attempt to frame this as merely a technical or cyber issue – but it is not.”

    ”There are real victims behind these crimes, and those victims are children,” she continued. “As a society, we must act to protect our children.”

    The investigation is ongoing, with authorities continuing to pursue leads across multiple jurisdictions.

    Action movie star Jean-Claude Van Damme has been named in a criminal complaint filed by Romania’s Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT).

    The 64-year-old Belgian-born star, known for his high-octane roles in Bloodsport, Kickboxer, and Street Fighter, is accused of knowingly engaging in sexual acts with five Romanian women who were allegedly victims of a human trafficking ring.

    The allegations claim the incidents took place roughly a decade ago at an event in Cannes, organized by Van Damme himself.

    According to reports from CNN affiliate Antena 3, the women—presented as photo models—were offered to Van Damme as a “gift” by a criminal group already under investigation for pimping and trafficking, led by Romanian businessman Morel Bolea.

    Attorney Adrian Cuculis, representing one of the alleged victims, told the news outlet, “The person who received those benefits knew their condition,” suggesting Van Damme was fully aware the women were exploited.

    The complaint alleges the actor’s actions violated Romania’s strict laws against human trafficking and exploitation, potentially implicating him in a broader network of cross-border crime.

    According to Page Six, proceedings are pending authorization from France’s High Court of Cassation, which must approve further legal action and allow for suspect depositions in Romania.

    The Hollywood actor has yet to issue a statement in response to the accusation.

    The case is part of a broader investigation into human trafficking and the exploitation of minors that began in 2020 by Romanian authorities.

    A A firehose of moisture is forecast to produce repeating thunderstorms with torrential downpours over the middle of the United States through much of this weekend. More than a foot of rain may pour down from portions of Arkansas to Kentucky and Ohio, likely triggering rapid, major and historic flooding, AccuWeather meteorologists warn.

    More than 46 million people will be affected by rounds of intense rainfall over the central U.S. Of this, at least 13 million will be within a high- to extreme-flood risk zone. Within these higher-risk areas, there is the potential for catastrophic flooding in some communities.

  16. Missouri Looking at Resurrecting Gun Law Nullification Measure

    A while back, Missouri passed the Second Amendment Preservation Act. On the surface, there was everything to like about it. It basically made it so federal gun control laws weren’t enforceable in Missouri.

    Well, sorta.

    It actually said that local cops couldn’t enforce them, which turns out to mean kind of the same thing, considering that the ATF doesn’t actually do all that much except frame people and write up charges so they can take credit for state and local cops’ arrests.

    And now it may be coming back, and the usual suspects are up in arms about it.

    Dozens of gun control advocates gathered in Jefferson City on Tuesday to lobby against several gun rights bills currently moving through the Missouri legislature, including a proposal to resurrect the Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA).

    The group, known as “Moms Demand Action,” is one of the country’s oldest and best-organized gun control organizations.

    “We believe that it’s unconstitutional …and agree with the courts that have declared it utterly unconstitutional,” said Kristin Bowen, from the Columbia chapter of Moms Demand Action,

    Rep. Keri Ingle, a Democrat from Lee’s Summit, said, “…so save your breath when you wanna talk to me about ‘backing the blue’ and law enforcement, when they are telling you what they need …and what they do not want …emphatically.”

    “Missouri has some of the weakest gun laws in the nation,” said Bowen. “Until we change that, we’re gonna come back here and we’re gonna have to fight.”

    The SAPA reboot has cleared the House and is now headed to the Senate.

    It’s entirely possible to “back the blue” and still stand up for people’s rights despite police saying they want something.

    Let’s keep in mind that protecting people’s Fourth Amendment rights, which are generally supported by both sides, is something that gets in the way of police doing their jobs. Many officers would love to see that peeled back a little so their jobs would be a lot easier.

    That doesn’t mean you do it.

    What’s more, it’s not the police who are saying this. It’s some police chiefs, who are different animals entirely. I know, my late father was one, and there’s a lot more politics that goes into that role than with your ordinary street cop. You don’t become a police chief unless you’re willing to echo the official line from the city council.

    Bown is more than welcome to come back and fight Missouri’s gun rights status, but thankfully, most people in the state aren’t thrilled with the ideas she thinks are “commonsense” or whatever.

    Now, I have concerns about the SAPA, but that’s more from a legality standpoint than anything morally against the bill itself. If they come up with a version that can survive the inevitable legal challenge, then I want to see a version of it in all 50 states. I want to see our rights protected in just this way so that the federal bureaucracy that we’re learning is so absolutely corrupt on so many levels can’t just swoop in and take our rights away and co-opt local cops to do so.

  17. Why National Reciprocity Is Needed

    National reciprocity is finally going somewhere in the House of Representatives, and while it might struggle in the Senate, there are ways to address that.

    What matters more is that it’s at least advancing. It needs to advance. In fact, it needs to become law.

    A lot of people are doing their typical act of screaming and carrying on, claiming that the law would empower criminals and make everyone less safe. That’s absolute nonsense and we all know it.

    Now, John Lott is addressing the hysterics in a piece he wrote for our sister site, Townhall.

    The two groups that benefit the most from carrying guns are physically weaker people (women and the elderly) and the likeliest victims of crime (poor blacks in high-crime urban areas). These are also the groups that have seen the largest percentage increases in concealed handgun permits over the last decade (2015 to 2024), with concealed handgun permits for women increasing 112% faster than for men and permits for blacks increasing 284% faster than for whites.

    Unfortunately, real life isn’t like the movies, where one woman can knock out and overpower several well-trained men. Even well-trained women often struggle to defend themselves against much larger and stronger men. Men also tend to be faster runners.

    A firearm represents a much more significant change in a woman’s ability to defend herself. Men can readily hurt women without a gun, and if a woman is already in physical contact with the attacker so that he can take away their gun, they are already in trouble.

    The peer-reviewed research by one of us shows that murder rates decline when people carry concealed handguns, be they men or women. But a woman holding a concealed handgun reduces the murder rate for women by about 3 to 4 times more than a man doing the same.

    That last bit is particularly powerful. The truth is that women are vulnerable. While most homicide victims do tend to be men, that’s largely because of gang activity and gang honor culture BS. Remove those from the equation, and you have pretty much all of the women who are victims of homicide. Few of them have any means of self-defense remotely available to them beyond a firearm.

    And, as we’ve pointed out, people’s rights don’t end at the state line.

    But let’s also add in the recent information from Philadelphia, where concealed carry permits have been issued at a drastically increased rate since 2021, and homicides have fallen 28 percent this year compared to 2024.

    That’s not gender specific, as Lott describes above, but it’s still more evidence that concealed carry, at a minimum, doesn’t make us less safe. In fact, it suggests quite the opposite.

    Even if it didn’t suggest that, though, the fact that the homicide rate didn’t have a corresponding spike tells us that the usual suspects’ wailing and gnashing of teeth is nothing more than theaterics.

    And tourists are potential targets almost anywhere they go, simply because they likely have extra money on their person–it’s not like their bank is local, after all–and may well have expensive items like photography equipment handy. They shouldn’t be put in that position when they could carry a firearm.

    So yeah, it needs to pass.

    Picture a single woman driving across state lines at night, fearful that her car will break down and leave her vulnerable. Or imagine a truck driver hauling valuable cargo across the country. In states like California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, and Oregon—which are among ten states that refuse to recognize concealed handgun permits from other states—these travelers risk being defenseless. Nine states either completely deny or severely limit non-residents’ ability to obtain a license.

    Last week, the House Judiciary Committee advanced the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act and is headed to the House floor. This bill would let anyone legally permitted to carry a concealed handgun in their home state do so across state lines—essentially treating concealed carry permits like driver’s licenses.

    With 21.5 million concealed handgun permit holders in the U.S., the bill would make a major impact.

    For most Americans, this kind of reciprocity already exists. The average state honors permits from 30 other states, allowing concealed carry permit holders to travel freely with firearms.

    Also on Tuesday, Democrats voted against another bill allowing current and retired law enforcement officers with at least ten years of experience to carry in facilities open to the general public, including schools, when they travel across the country. So it isn’t surprising that they were upset about a bill allowing civilians to carry across state lines.

    During the markup of the concealed carry bill, Democrats couldn’t cite any evidence but still voiced fears that permit holders commit crimes at high rates. In fact, permit holders are exceptionally law-abiding. They lose their licenses for firearm-related violations at rates of thousandths or tens of thousandths of one percentage point. Police rarely commit crimes, but concealed handgun permit holders are even more law-abiding, facing a revocation rate for firearms offenses that is just one-twelfth the rate of the rate that police are convicted of firearms-related crimes. Police rarely commit crimes, but concealed handgun permit holders break the law even less often. Their licenses are revoked for firearms offenses at just one-twelfth the rate that police are convicted of similar crimes.

    “This legislation is a dramatic infringement on states’ rights,” warns Emma Brown, executive director at the gun control advocacy group Giffords, repeating a common refrain from gun control groups. Ironically, those same groups consistently push for federal gun control laws that override state decisions.

    Opponents also argued that national reciprocity could lead to confusion about which gun laws apply in a given state, leading to arrests – but reciprocity is already common. There is no evidence of a problem with out-of-state permit holders.

    One concern is that the standards for getting a permit vary across states, but there is no evidence that permit revocation rates are higher in states where it is easier to obtain a permit.

    Despite all the fears of gun control advocates, there is a reason that over 86% of police chiefs and sheriffs support national reciprocity. And over 90 percent of street police officers support concealed handgun laws. These are the people who see first-hand how reciprocity and concealed carry work. They know how important police are in deterring crime, but they also know that police almost always arrive at the crime scene after the criminal commits the crime and that self-defense is crucial to keeping people safe. Overwhelmingly, academic research finds that letting people carry concealed handguns reduces crime.

    Much of the gun control debate is about things that might go wrong, but with reciprocity, we don’t need to guess. With tens of millions of people legally carrying concealed handguns, if gun control advocates could point to hundreds or even dozens of cases where people with out-of-state permits caused problems, their concerns would be something to consider. But the issues are exceedingly rare. Americans don’t need to guess if gun control advocates concerns are justified.

    The two groups that benefit the most from carrying guns are physically weaker people (women and the elderly) and the likeliest victims of crime (poor blacks in high-crime urban areas). These are also the groups that have seen the largest percentage increases in concealed handgun permits over the last decade (2015 to 2024), with concealed handgun permits for women increasing 112% faster than for men and permits for blacks increasing 284% faster than for whites.

    Unfortunately, real life isn’t like the movies, where one woman can knock out and overpower several well-trained men. Even well-trained women often struggle to defend themselves against much larger and stronger men. Men also tend to be faster runners.

    A firearm represents a much more significant change in a woman’s ability to defend herself. Men can readily hurt women without a gun, and if a woman is already in physical contact with the attacker so that he can take away their gun, they are already in trouble.

    The peer-reviewed research by one of us shows that murder rates decline when people carry concealed handguns, be they men or women. But a woman holding a concealed handgun reduces the murder rate for women by about 3 to 4 times more than a man doing the same.

    While the House is likely to pass national reciprocity, the battle in the Senate is much more difficult. To pass the bill in the Senate, 60 votes are required to break the filibuster Democrats will wage, and at least seven Democrat Senators will have to break ranks. But Democrat Senators need only look at the experience in their home states to see that there are no problems with reciprocity. Six states with twelve Democrat Senators recognize concealed handgun permits from the rest of the country: Arizona, Georgia, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Virginia. In none of those states is there any movement to restrict reciprocity.

    Police are critical. But 720,000 police officers cannot be everywhere and protect 340 million people at once. Let’s make it so Americans aren’t afraid to cross state borders.

    Fed up with states taxing gun purchasers in order to try to curb gun ownership, two congressmen and a U.S. senator have introduced a measure to put a stop to such abuse.

    U.S. Reps Richard Hudson, R-North Carolina, and Darrell Issa, R-California, along with U.S. Sen. Jim Risch, R-Idaho, recently introduced the Freedom from Unfair Gun Taxes Act in order to prohibit states from implementing excise taxes on firearms and ammunition to fund gun control programs.

    California has an additional 11% excise tax on guns and ammunition. Colorado recently added an additional 6.5% excise tax for guns, ammo and accessories purchased in that state.

    Being from California, Rep. Issa has very strong feelings on anti-gun state governments placing additional taxes on guns and ammunition.

    “For too many years, extreme state policies—including from my home state—have targeted our fundamental Second Amendment rights and the American citizens who exercise them,” Rep. Issa said in a news release announcing the legislation. “The latest attack is California’s imposition of a ‘sin tax’ on firearms and ammunition. This outrageous and unfair burden on law-abiding citizens is why Sen. Risch, Rep. Hudson, and I are working to stop this and other attempts to penalize our people and put the price of self-defense out of reach of any American.”

    For his part, Sen. Issa said that states piling such taxes on gun owners is exploitation.

    “Blue states that implement an excessive excise tax to fund gun control initiatives are exploiting the Second Amendment,” Sen. Risch said. “The Freedom from Unfair Gun Taxes Act ensures states do not place a significant financial burden on law-abiding gun owners to advance their anti-Second Amendment agenda.”

    One of the pro-gun organizations supporting the measure is the powerful National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the firearm industry trade association. Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF senior vice president and general counsel, said states are making gun purchasers pay a “sin tax,” and it needs to be stopped.

    “States that are hostile to the firearm industry and Second Amendment freedoms have abused their ability to levy taxes on the sale of firearms and ammunition as a ‘sin tax,’” Keane said. “Exercising a right—whether it is your First Amendment freedoms, Second Amendment or Fourth or Fifth Amendment freedoms, is not a sin.”

    Keane added that the idea that law-abiding citizens who responsibly exercise their Second Amendment rights must bear the cost of funding programs designed to denigrate that very right is anathema to the free exercise of rights.

    “This is akin to the unconstitutional poll taxes that were struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1966,” he concluded “The lawmakers in the states that levy these taxes reveal their contempt for the Second Amendment and disdain for citizens who obey the law. NSSF is grateful to Congressmen Issa and Hudson, as well as Senator Risch, for their principled stand against these taxes that are an affront to the free exercise of Constitutionally-protected rights.”

    Incidentally, a similar measure was filed last year but didn’t make much headway with the party makeup in Congress and President Joe Biden in the White House. Sponsors hope it will fare better this year with President Donald Trump in the White House and Republicans holding majorities in both the House and Senate.

    The ongoing controversy over the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) using facial recognition software to identify gun owners has raised the ire of the head of the U.S. House of Representatives House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance.

    U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Arizona, sent a letter to ATF Acting Director Kash Patel on March 27 demanding information about the agency’s use of facial recognition software and artificial intelligence (AI) to “identify gun owners.”

    “As Chairman of @JudiciaryGOP’s Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance, I’m asking @Kash_Patel for documents on ATF’s potential abuse of facial recognition technology to surveil law-abiding gun owners,” Rep. Biggs posted on X. “I will always defend Americans’ right to privacy.”

    According to a recent Government Accountability Office (GAO) report, ATF has access to “various facial recognition systems including Clearview AI,2 Vigilant Solutions, and other systems owned by other federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial law enforcement agencies” and “conducted at least 549 facial recognition searches on gun owners” over a two-and-a-half year period.

    “The Subcommittee has concerns about ATF’s use of facial recognition and AI programs and the effects that its use has upon American citizens’ Second Amendment rights and rights to privacy,” Biggs’ letter stated. “Recent studies detail how federal agencies, including ATF, have improperly implemented facial recognition technology. A June 2021 report from GAO confirmed that ATF used facial recognition owned by outside entities and, at that time, lacked any established mechanisms ‘to track what non-federal systems with facial recognition technology are used by [ATF] employees to support investigative activities’ and ‘to assess the risks of using such systems, including privacy and accuracy-related risks.’”

    Rep. Biggs and his subcommittee are also concerned that recent reports that ATF has discontinued use of facial recognition software might not be accurate.

    “GAO reported that, as of April 2023, ATF ‘had halted’ its use of facial recognition services. A recent report by Senator Ron Johnson on the July 2024 attempted assassination of President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, however, revealed that ‘ATF was apparently requesting … photos of [the shooter] for facial recognition purposes.’ This information raises concerns about whether ATF continues to possess and potentially use facial recognition technology despite ATF’s claims to the contrary.”

    Biggs and his subcommittee presented Patel with a list of requests for information they wanted to receive from the ATF. The list included all documents and communications between ATF and commercial facial recognition technology service providers referring or relating to ATF’s use of facial recognition technology, all internal ATF documents and communications, including memoranda, between ATF headquarters officials and agency field offices referring or relating to the use of facial recognition technology and all documents and communications between the ATF and any non-federal law enforcement agency or department, including state, local, tribal, territorial and nongovernment entities, referring or relating to the use of facial recognition technology.

    The Congressman gave Patel and the ATF until April 10 to provide the requested documents.

    Rosa Parks is an American hero.

    Remember the #MeToo movement? Feminists said women have a right to say “NO” to sex with a man. Men need the female’s permission. It’s not up the man. A woman has a say in what she does or allows with her body. “No means NO.” Remember all that?

    Stephanie Turner is a hero like Rosa Parks.

    Stephanie is a American female fencer. She just struck a blow for female athletes’ rights. She kneeled and refused to compete at a fencing tournament against a male transgender fencer claiming to be a woman.

    For that heroic action Stephanie was given a “black card.” That means she was disqualified and kicked out of the tournament. Other females fenced this transgender man (making believe he’s a woman). Only Stephanie was courageous enough to take a knee and refuse to compete against a man…

    This was a Rosa Parks-like act of courage.

    Stephanie is correct. Science proves there are only two genders in this world- male and female. You can’t change the way you were born. A man who thinks he’s a woman is still a man. And a man who surgically changes into a woman is also still a man. He/she/it has male muscles and testosterone coursing through its body. It’s a man.

    First, no man, or transgender man, should ever again be allowed to play sports with female athletes. Period. That practice should be banned from women’s sports forever.

    Secondly, even if it’s still allowed in some deep blue Democrat states with insane, radical, communist political cowards making the rules, no girl, or woman athlete should ever be FORCED to play sports with a man.

    Isn’t this a matter of “choice?”

    Doesn’t a women have a right to say “NO?” And doesn’t “No mean NO!” If a girl or woman refuses to play against a man, shouldn’t she have the same civil and human rights as a woman who refuses to have sex with a man?

    Doesn’t a woman have a right to choose what to do with her body?

    Why don’t the #MeToo movement rules apply to women playing sports? If a woman, or a team of women refuses to play with a hulking man with giant muscles who claims to be a woman, doesn’t that woman, or team of women, have a right to say no?

    I have two daughters. If they have a right to turn a man down for sex, they certainly have every right to refuse to compete against a man in a sporting event because of his unfair genetic advantage…let alone to protect their bodies from the risk of injury, from playing with physically stronger men.

    Women have a right to say “NO” to not be brutalized by a man on a sports field, just as they have a right to say no to sex with a man.

    We cannot allow any girl, or woman athlete to be disqualified and kicked out of a tournament, or sporting event, for choosing to stand up for their dignity, or to simply protect themselves from injury.

    That’s pure evil.

    The mistake here is that Stephanie Turner acted alone. Every single girl in that tournament should have taken a knee to support a woman’s right to choose, and to say “No means NO.”

    It’s important to note that Rosa Parks was awarded “The Presidential Medal of Freedom.”

    Thank you, Stephanie. You’re my hero. Let’s hope Stephanie’s courageous act inspires millions of American female athletes to take a stand against men participating in any way, shape, or form in women’s sports.

    That’s the only way this madness will stop- if every female athlete takes a knee and refuses to compete against men. Either the rule will be changed and males banned from female sports everywhere…

    The intrepid Michigan House Republicans are attempting the nation’s first honest investigation of voter fraud in state and federal elections. The Elections Committee Chair, Rep. Rachelle Smit (R), is uncovering a great deal of new information as it relates to ongoing voter fraud in American elections.

    The public has been repeatedly told that elections are the ‘safest and most secure’ ones possible. Democrats often champion isolated incidents of voter fraud as ‘proof the system works’ because the fraud is being caught.

    The political right claims that those caught are the tip of the iceberg. The political left claims such cases are isolated incidents, needles in the proverbial election haystack.

    But now an Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or “ICE,” whistleblower has come forward, an agent with decades of experience in state and federal law enforcement, to say that he has arrested hundreds of illegal immigrants and they regularly bragged to him that they are voting in state and federal elections.

    And, he says, he saw the voting cards they were using to vote, which were being issued by Michigan’s far-left Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.

    This whistleblower has been courageous to put this all in a signed and sworn document provided to Rep. Rachelle Smit and her nine-member House Election Integrity Committee. Smit has been planning investigations into a variety of lingering claims of systemic voter fraud from the 2020 election.

    The Gateway Pundit was provided with the full unredacted three-page, signed, affidavit, but in an effort to protect the whistleblower from media and workplace retaliation, redactions have been made to protect their identity for the time being.

    Smit told The Gateway Pundit that “Investigations will follow” and that this is one of several whistleblowers who have come forward so far.

    Smit is planning a wide-ranging investigation into current and historical threats to election integrity in Michigan.

    Smit’s committee has already heard from a few regularly featured election integrity champions such as investigator Chris Kaijala and researcher Parker Thayer.

    Just last week, Smit sent a letter to Trump Attorney General Pam Bondi urging her to investigate and prosecute individuals from the notorious Muskegon County, Michigan voter registration fraud scheme from 2020, exclusively documented by The Gateway Pundit’s Benjamin Wetmore and Patty McMurray.

    Michigan’s elections have fraud throughout, and a variety of volunteer election integrity efforts dutifully document the various frauds ongoing. In the 2024 election, a Chinese national was allowed to illegally vote in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and was caught only because a diligent clerk asked for guidance on what to do once the fraud was discovered.

    Benson announced in January that she is running for Michigan Governor in 2026. Michigan has been a ‘battleground’ state for a generation, and its general 50-50 split between Republicans and Democrats leaves it a competitive state for both parties for the foreseeable future.

    Michigan’s current far-left Governor Gretchen Whitmer first won in 2018 and won re-election in 2022. In her re-election, Whitmer completely ignored the state’s campaign finance laws, based on a flawed interpretation of a Secretary of State opinion that allowed her to raise unlimited funds from individual and corporate donors to oppose a ‘recall’ effort against her. The recalls failed to qualify for the ballot, but Whitmer was able to raise tens of millions from donors.

    Democrats then raised millions in ‘dark money’ to push a statewide ballot proposal to ‘end gerrymandering’ in the state, prohibiting the legislature from drawing the legislative jurisdictions. The result was lines that were even more gerrymandered than before, but this time heavily in favor of Democrats.

    The Michigan Senate is currently at 19-18 in favor of Democrats, and Governor Whitmer refuses to schedule a Senate special election after a Democrat resignation from the chamber because of the likelihood that the replacement would be a Republican.

    ?In the 2024 United States presidential election, former President Donald Trump reclaimed Michigan’s 15 electoral votes by defeating Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump secured 49.7% of the vote compared to Harris’s 48.3%, resulting in a margin of approximately 1.4 percentage points. This victory marked a significant shift, as Michigan had favored Democratic candidates in the previous two elections.

    The win in Michigan was pivotal in Trump’s overall electoral strategy, underscoring the state’s role as a critical battleground in national politics.

  22. Georgia Democrats Walk Out In Support Of Taxpayer-Funded Sex Changes For Inmates

    Georgia House Democrats staged a walkout at the Georgia State Capitol Wednesday, leaving the chamber in protest as lawmakers debated a bill that would end taxpayer-funded sex change surgeries for state prison inmates.

    The walkout occurred amidst a heated debate over Senate Bill (SB) 185, which subsequently passed the House by a 100-2 vote, with all Democrats opting out of the vote through their departure, according to Fox Atlanta. The bill received opposition solely from Georgia Democratic Rep. Regina Lewis-Ward and David Sampson. They cast the only two ‘no’ votes while their colleagues walked out in protest. The bill now awaits Republican Gov. Brian Kemp’s signature.

    SB 185 prohibits the use of state funds for sex change surgeries, hormone replacement therapies and cosmetic procedures designed to alter sexual characteristics for state inmates in Georgia. Exceptions are allowed for medically necessary treatments unrelated to gender dysphoria, specific congenital conditions, partial androgen insensitivity syndrome and for continuing pre-existing hormone therapies solely for transitional purposes.

      Transsexuality in Iran: A liberal law in a conservative state

      Despite the lack of official data, Iran is regarded as one of the world’s leaders in terms of the number of SRSs [sex reassignment surgery] performed, and the government covers about half of the cost. Indeed, Iran, a Shia theocracy, has adopted a very progressive law when it comes to transsexual rights.

      The law has its roots in the 1970s, when Maryam Mulkara, a transgender woman willing to undergo a surgery, started inquiring about Islam’s stance on transsexuality. After the revolution in 1979, the new government began cruel moral purification campaigns and Mulkara felt she had to stand up for transsexual rights. She met Hashemi Rafsanjani, the speaker of the parliament, who promised to bring the issue up with Ayatollah Khomeini.

      The response she received was not satisfactory, however, and she decided to confront the supreme leader herself. She went to his house, and after a brief discussion, the Imam issued a fatwa stating that sex-change operations would be permissible. Since Khomeini had supreme authority in the new republic, Mulkara, along with thousands of other transgender individuals, now had the legal right to change sex.

        Walaa Alqaisiya critiques the notion of cohabitation between Jews and Palestinians, particularly as proposed by Judith Butler, which Alqaisiya sees as rooted in post-structuralist theorization. She argues that this idea is problematic because it overlooks the historical and political realities of the Israel-Palestine conflict. Alqaisiya states, “cohabitation emerges from and follows dehistoricized, depoliticized Weberian notions of hate, religious conflict, and ethnic war.”

        She contends that the concept ignores the material structures that sustain one group’s domination over the other, especially the role Zionism plays in maintaining these inequalities.

        “It ignores the material structures that maintain one’s one group’s exclusive domination over another.”

        Alqaisiya further critiques the idea of cohabitation for detaching Zionism from its role in U.S.-led imperialism, saying, “it divorces Zionism from its functionary role within U.S.-led imperialism.”

        Lastly, she argues that the abstract notion of coexistence does not engage with real anti-colonial and anti-imperialist struggles, suggesting that it fails to confront deeper liberation strategies outside of academic views on decolonization: “fails to engage productively with the deep history of existing anti-colonial and anti-imperialist struggles.”
