This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    Marco Rubio shut down a reporter who suggested that the Trump administration was violating the principles of free speech.

    At a press conference on Wednesday, Rubio was asked by a reporter about the Trump administration’s decision to revoke a green card from last year’s organizer of the pro-Hamas protests at Columbia University.

    “President Trump appealed to a lot of Americans on free speech arguments and not suppressing speech, especially from the government,” the reporter asked.

    ”Your revocation of the green card to many is seen as one of the most anti-speech actions a Secretary can take with his powers,” he continued.”How do you respond?”

    Rubio responded as such:

    When you come to the United States as a visitor, which is what a visa is, which is how this individual entered this country, as a visitor’s visa, you are here as a visitor. We can deny you that visa.

    We can deny you that if you tell us, when you apply, hi, I’m trying to get into the United States on a student visa, I am a big supporter of Hamas, a murderous, barbaric group that kidnaps children, that rapes teenage girls, that takes hostages, that allows them to die in captivity, that returns more bodies than live hostages.

    If you tell us that you are in favor of a group like this, and if you tell us when you apply for your visa, and by the way, I intend to come to your country as a student and rile up all kinds of anti-Jewish student, anti-Semitic activities, I intend to shut down your universities. If you told us all these things when you applied for a visa, we would deny your visa. I hope we would.

    If you actually end up doing that, once you’re in this country on such a visa, we will revoke it. If you end up having a green card, not citizenship, but a green card as a result of that visa while you’re here in those activities, we’re going to kick you out. It’s as simple as that.

    This is not about free speech. This is about people that don’t have a right to be in the United States to begin with.

    No one has a right to a student visa. No one has a right to a green card, by the way. So, when you apply for a student visa, or any visa to enter the United States, we have a right to deny you for virtually any reason.

    But I think being a supporter of Hamas, and coming into our universities, and turning them upside down, and being complicit in what are clearly crimes, a vandalization, complicit in shutting down learning institutions.

    There are kids at these schools that can’t go to class. You pay all this money to these high-priced schools that are supposed to be of great esteem, and you can’t even go to class. You’re afraid to go to class because these lunatics are running around with covers on their face, screaming terrifying things.

    If you told us that’s what you intended to do when you came to America, we would have never let you in. And if you do it once you get in, we’re going to revoke it and kick you out. They sent me to a psychiatrist.

    Despite the efforts by the Trump administration, an Obama judge recently blocked the deportation of Mahmoud Khali on the grounds that he was exercising “constitutionally protected speech.”

    The issue may eventually be decided by the Supreme Court.

    While everything pointed to the Russian side rejecting the US-Ukraine ceasefire plan – including comments made today (13) by top negotiator Yuri Ushakov – President Vladimir Putin has come out and said that he accepts the idea, provided some conditions are met.

    Speaking to the press after a meeting with Belarusian President Lukashenko, Putin has shocked geopolitical analysts with his acceptance of the ceasefire plan.

    The Telegraph reported:

    “Vladimir Putin has agreed to a US plan for a short-term ceasefire, but with specific conditions.

    The Russian president said: ‘We agree with the proposals for the ceasefire, but our position is based on the assumption the ceasefire will lead to a long-term peace’.”

    Vladimir Putin is in favor of the US plan for a 30-day truce in Ukraine ‘but there are nuances’.

    “The Russian president said plenty of questions remain over how the ceasefire will be implemented and who will control it.”

    Earlier, Putin’s top negotiator Yuri Ushalov had stated what was considered the obvious: Russia would not accept the plan.

    Yury Ushakov stated:

    “??Moscow does not want a temporary truce; it is interested in a long-term settlement;

    ??The temporary ceasefire in Ukraine is nothing more than a temporary respite for the Ukrainian military;

    ??Steps that imitate peaceful actions in Ukraine are of no use to anyone;

    ??Russia seeks a long-term peace settlement in Ukraine that takes into account Moscow’s interests and concerns;

    ??The Americans understand that Ukraine’s membership in NATO is out of the question in the context of a peaceful settlement.”

    Yesterday, writing about this, I stated:

    “Now, the question on everyone’s mind is: ‘Will Russia accept the truce?’ The short and simplistic answer is most probably not.”

    I have never been so happy to be wrong.

    But I also wrote: “Does that mean that the peace process is over?

    Not at all.

    […] It’s highly unlikely that Putin will not find a way to keep the process going strong. There are skilled negotiators in both sides, and they have been in touch this whole time, so it’s unlikely that the US team just went on a limb on a losing proposition.”

    A federal judge on Thursday said the Trump Administration’s Office of Personnel Management (OPM) illegally fired thousands of probationary employees.

    US District Judge William Alsup, a Clinton appointee, ordered the Trump Administration to rehire thousands of fired probationary employees in six federal agencies.

    The judge blasted the Trump Administration and said he felt “misled by the US Government” as he ordered six federal agencies to offer reinstatement to fired probationary workers.

    “It is a sad day when our government would fire some good employee and say it was based on performance when they know good and well that’s a lie,” Judge Alsup said. “That should not have been done in our country. It was a sham in order to avoid statutory requirements.”

    The six government agencies include: VA, DOD, Energy, Interior, Treasury and Agriculture.

    UPDATE: Alsup will also require offer of reinstatement to fired probationary employees at DOD, Energy, Interior, Treasury and Agriculture

    According to the latest data from the Office of Personnel Management, there were approximately 220,000 federal workers who had not yet completed their probationary period as of March 2024.

    It is unclear how many probationary employees Trump has already fired, but there are potentially 200,000+ federal employees across government agencies.

    Terminations occurred in various departments, including Energy, Veterans Affairs, Education, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and Small Business Administration.

    According to far-left CNN, employees received termination notices via emails, form letters, and video calls.

    At OPM, dozens of probationary employees were fired on a Microsoft Teams call.

    Between 1,200 and 2,000 workers were laid off at the Department of Energy, including hundreds from the office overseeing the nuclear stockpile.

    Nearly 1,300 probationary employees, accounting for about 10% of CDC’s workforce, were let go.

    Big news is unfolding in the fight for Second Amendment rights. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi’s Department of Justice (DOJ) has asked the Supreme Court for an additional 30 days to decide whether to seek certiorari (cert) in Range v. Garland—a case that could have major implications for the rights of non-violent felons to own firearms.
    The Case at Hand: Range v. Garland

    At the heart of this case is Brian Range, a Pennsylvania man convicted decades ago of a minor, non-violent misdemeanor related to food stamp fraud. Under federal law—18 U.S.C. 922(g)(1)—anyone convicted of a felony, or in some cases even certain misdemeanors, is barred from possessing firearms for life.

    Range challenged this restriction, arguing that it violates his Second Amendment rights. In a major pro-gun ruling, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit agreed, finding that individuals without a history of violence should not automatically lose their constitutional right to bear arms. This decision contradicts other circuit rulings, setting the stage for a potential Supreme Court showdown.
    Why the DOJ is Delaying

    Some might see the DOJ’s request for a 30-day extension as bad news, but it’s more likely a strategic move. Here’s why:

    New Leadership at DOJ – Trump’s pick for Solicitor General, John Sauer, is awaiting Senate confirmation. This case is high-stakes, and the administration may want to wait for their preferred legal team to take the reins before making a final decision.
    Watching Other Gun Cases – The Supreme Court is currently considering other major Second Amendment cases, including challenges to assault weapon bans (Bianchi v. Brown out of Maryland). The DOJ might be waiting to see how SCOTUS handles those cases before deciding on Range.
    Legal Bandwidth Issues – The DOJ is handling multiple high-profile cases, including litigation involving Trump and executive power. This could simply be a matter of workload.
    A Potential ‘Windsor’ Strategy – Some speculate that the Trump administration might follow the Obama DOJ’s strategy in United States v. Windsor (a case about same-sex marriage). In that case, Obama’s DOJ argued the law in question was unconstitutional—even though they continued enforcing it for procedural reasons. The Trump DOJ could take a similar approach in Range, asking the Supreme Court to hear the case while ultimately arguing in favor of Range’s gun rights.

    What Happens Next?

    If the DOJ seeks cert, the Supreme Court could take up Range and issue a definitive ruling on whether non-violent felons can be permanently disarmed.   15. Did Prosecutorial Misconduct Send a Teen to Prison for Acting in Self-Defense?

    That’s the shocking accusation from Salt Lake City TV station KUTV, which uncovered the fact that dozens of pieces of evidence were withheld from the defense attorneys representing a local teen accused of murder.

    The teen, identified only as “Emiliano” by KUTV, was in the backseat of a car with a female friend on August 17, 2023 at a park in West Valley City when 24-year-old Niusami Auelua (who was later found to have high levels of methamphetamine in his system) approached the pair with a gun.

    “I didn’t know what was gonna happen, I was scared you know,” Emiliano said. “I just, I hear him cock the gun back. I had a knife in my pocket, and I put it in my hand, and I closed our distance while trying to get the gun away from him – and you know, I stabbed him.”

    After an initial investigation, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office declined to pursue charges against Emiliano based on the self-defense aspects of the incident. But months later, in February of 2024, the D.A. abruptly reversed course and charged the teen with murder, arguing that Emiliano “took it too far in terms of defending himself from this robbery”.

    KUTV reports the teen ended up pleading guilty to a lesser charge of manslaughter last September, and now faces years in prison.

    After the case was closed, screen captures taken from the DA’s database show dozens of pieces of evidence were marked “not disclosed” to Emiliano or his defense attorney.

    “Twenty-seven items of evidence came in on a closed case that’s unheard of. In total, it was over 30 items that were not ever disclosed to defense on a murder,” Meghann Mills told 2News Investigates – a former Senior Deputy District Attorney and Supervisor of the Juvenile Unit at the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office.

    On the inside at the District Attorney’s Office, she was trying to blow the whistle about prosecutorial misconduct.

    “After he pled and I was, I was like, I felt like my soul was broken, I tried so long, and he still pled and I just, I failed him,” Mills said.

    The DA’s office has acknowledged that evidence was not turned over and blamed it on a change of prosecutor, Emiliano’s defense attorney, a paralegal and the West Valley City Police Department, saying it was inadvertent and inattentive.

    In part two of KUTV’s investigation, which ran on Tuesday night, Mills accused prosecutor Adrianna Davis and police detective Josue Llil, who investigated the case, of having an inappropriate romantic relationship. Mills told the District Attorney that Davis was pressured by Llil to pursue charges against Emiliano, and while Davis was removed as prosecutor the case against the teen continued.

    Neither Adrianna Davis nor Detective Llil would comment for this story. Davis’ Attorney Greg Skordas said the story could “needlessly hurt Davis.”

    A spokesperson for West Valley City Police said they are conducting an internal affairs investigation.

    Emiliano’s attorney filed motions asking for the case to be dismissed and Emiliano to be freed immediately. Additionally, Nathan Evershed filed a motion to disqualify the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office from the case. DA Gill’s office also has filed to overturn the plea bargain.

    A hearing on Emiliano’s case is set for this morning in Salt Lake County, and hopefully the judge will grant the motion to dismiss the case and release the teen from custody. And honestly, there needs to be a criminal investigation into the actions of the Salt Lake County D.A.’s office and the West Valley City Police Department, or at least those employees who were involved in the decision to charge Emiliano with murder months after the determination he’d acted in self-defense had been made. If nothing else, I’d say Emiliano has strong grounds for a civil suit against these agencies and the individuals involved in his prosecution.

    Democrats in Congress are all fired up about President Donald Trump’s executive order demanding a whole-of-government review of federal firearms regulations, and his instructions to new Attorney General Pam Bondi to “examine all orders, regulations, guidance, plans, international agreements and other actions of executive departments and agencies to assess any ongoing infringements of the Second Amendment rights of our citizens.”

    In a recent, overly demanding (considering their minority status) letter penned by Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Maryland, the gun-haters in blue showed their true colors.

    “There is plainly no need for any new plan of action to, in the words of the executive order, ‘protect the Second Amendment rights of all Americans,’” one section of the letter, obtained by courthousenews.com, stated.

    Whoo, boy. We finally got it in writing! “No need to protect the Second Amendment rights of all Americans.”

    At issue are the final rules the Biden Administration’s weaponized Department of Justice and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (AFT) published, severely curtailing the rights of lawful gun owners. Rep. Raskin and other Congressional Democrats

    in Congress don’t want to see those rolled back, even though some have already been struck down in various courtrooms throughout the nation.

    In the letter, the representatives also launched a full-scale defense of Biden’s weaponized ATF, including the administration’s “zero-tolerance” policy which caused revocation of firearms licenses for simple clerical errors.

    “The executive order specifically instructs you to examine the ATF’s ‘enhanced regulatory enforcement policy,’” the letter stated. “Under this policy, ATF initiates the process to revoke the licenses of gun dealers who put the public at serious risk by willfully violating the Gun Control Act through transferring a firearm to a prohibited person, failing to conduct a background check, falsifying records, failing to respond to a trace request or refusing to allow ATF to conduct an inspection. Through this policy, ATF has enforced the Gun Control Act as passed by Congress and has revoked the licenses of the tiny fraction of gun dealers who willfully violated the law.”

    Of course, that is a blatant lie, as the Biden policy not only caused revocation of licenses for simple clerical errors, but also cause some FFLs to give up their licenses to avoid prosecution—and persecution—by the ATF.

    While cheering the new “laws” put in effect by DOJ and ATF, the congressional Democrats were duplicitous enough to remind AG Bondi that only Congress can pass laws. It would be comical if it wasn’t so frustrating.

    “While every administration has enforced our nation’s firearms laws to help keep us safe, any changes to those laws must come from Congress,” the letter stated. “That is why we hope you will work with us and keep us informed as we seek to ensure all Americans are safe from gun violence.”

    In the end, the representatives posed a list of 12 demanding questions to AG Bondi, and insisted that she meet a March 17 deadline with her answers. I know millions of other gun owners join me in hoping she gives them the only answer they deserve on this matter: “Stick it!”

    A mob of radical pro-Hamas protesters have taken over the restaurant inside the iconic Trump Tower in New York City.

    Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) just tweeted a video from that shows a radical mob of alleged Jews fighting to defend the antisemitic pro-Palestine protester Mahmoud Khalil. The group, comprised mostly of women, can be seen wearing red t-shirts that read, “Jewish Voice for Peace,” and “Stop Arming Israel,” while shouting, “Free Mahmoud, Free them All!”

    Along with the video of the uprising inside the Trump Tower, Rep. Greene tweeted, “Protesters have OCCUPIED Trump TOWER in NYC chanting ‘Free Mahmoud, Free them All!’” She added, “I know the owner of that building and he will definitely be pressing charges.”

    Rep. MTG concluded her tweet with a popular acronym used to warn far-left protesters that they’re not dealing with woke clowns in the DOJ anymore. “FAFO,” she tweeted, or “F**k Around And Find Out!”

    In addition to the “Free Mahmoud” chant, the so-called Jewish group that stormed the Trump Tower building held signs that read, “Fight Nazis not students,” “Jews for Palestinian Freedom” and “No Muslim Ban Ever!”

    Of course, there has been no discussion of a Muslim ban and the hypocrisy of the “Fight Nazis” sign being held by so-called Jews who are defending a man many consider to be a vile antisemite, is quite astounding.

    The Gateway Pundit reported on the arrest by ICE of the pro-Hamas protester Mahmoud Khalil, last week- After leading violent and threatening protests at Columbia University, on Saturday, President Trump’s ICE agents arrested activist Mahmoud Khalil, who has led anti-Israel protests at Columbia and Barnard College.

    The New York Post reports that Khalil is set to be deported after being detained and taken into custody by ICE.

    The State Department has also reportedly issued an edict revoking his student visa and his green card.

    According to the New York Post- A Palestinian activist who led the disruptive anti-Israel protests at both Columbia University and Barnard College has been arrested by ICE agents at his campus apartment, according to his lawyer.

    Mahmoud Khalil, a former graduate student who got his undergraduate degree in Beirut and completed his studies at Ivy League Columbia in December, also reportedly faces having his visa revoked and his green card canceled following President Trump’s crackdown on unrest at colleges.

    He was inside his university-owned apartment a few blocks from campus Saturday night when ICE agents entered the residence and took him into custody, attorney Amy Greer told AP.

    The arrest is yet another example of ‘promises made, promises kept’ from President Trump and his pledge to arrest and deport foreign troublemakers who are making college campuses unsafe for Jewish students.

    “On March 9, 2025, in support of President Trump’s executive orders prohibiting anti-Semitism, and in coordination with the Department of State, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Mahmoud Khalil, a former Columbia University graduate student.

    Khalil led activities aligned to Hamas, a designated terrorist organization,” DHS spokesperson, Tricia McLaughlin said.ICE and the Department of State are committed to enforcing President Trump’s executive orders and to protecting US national security.”

    According to The Post, Khalil completed his undergraduate degree in Beirut, Lebanon and worked for UNRWA through 2023, a UN agency infiltrated by Hamas.

    UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, received $1 billion from Joe Biden while he was president.

    Reports indicate that at least 12 UNRWA staffers took part in the mass slaughter of innocent Jews during the October 7 terrorist attacks in Israel.

    Khalil had threatened Columbia in the past, saying “As long as Columbia continues to invest and to benefit from Israeli apartheid, the students will continue to resist,”

    Then he had more ominous words “Not only protests and encampments, the limit is the sky.”

    The Jerusalem Post claims Khalil is a senior activist with the CUAD or the Columbia University Apartheid Divest group.

    The issue of law enforcement action against the group’s leadership cannot be separated from the actions and objectives of CUAD, which perceives itself as a revolutionary force working toward the destruction of the United States and Israel.
    The means to achieve this are not just through vandalism and civil unrest, which CUAD directly employs, as the group also supports terrorism at home and in the Middle East, praising the October 7 massacre as the pinnacle of revolutionary action.

    President Trump has made clear that students will not be threatened and intimidated, and those who do so and are not citizens will be deported.

    On Friday, the Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Education (ED), and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) also announced the immediate rescinding of $400 million in federal grants and contracts to Columbia University citing “inaction in the face of persistent harassment of Jewish students” by the university.

    “On March 9, 2025, in support of President Trump’s executive orders prohibiting anti-Semitism, and in coordination with the Department of State, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Mahmoud Khalil, a former Columbia University graduate student,” McLaughlin wrote in a statement to Columbia Spectator.

    “Khalil led activities aligned to Hamas, a designated terrorist organization… ICE and the Department of State are committed to enforcing President Trump’s executive orders and to protecting U.S. national security,” she added.

    Despite the clear legal basis for his detention, Khalil’s allies in the liberal legal community wasted no time filing a habeas corpus petition, claiming his arrest was retaliation for his “constitutionally protected speech.”

    His attorneys argue that moving him to a Louisiana detention facility was an “attempt to disrupt the legal process.”

    Khalil’s lawyer, Amy Greer, wrote support for Khalil’s motion to compel U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to return him to New York after he was transferred to a detention facility in Louisiana despite having a pending habeas corpus petition challenging the legality of his detention.

    President Donald J. Trump is reportedly about to invoke wartime legislation to summarily deport some criminal migrants – including to Guantanamo Bay.

    The ‘Alien Enemies Act’ of 1798 is expected to be activated as soon as tomorrow (14).

    Officials are reported to have made preparations to send dangerous gang members to the U.S. Naval Base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

    The move is expected to come just as soon as the President invokes the Alien Enemies Act.

    “Those subject to the Alien Enemies Act would not be allowed to have a court hearing or an asylum interview since they would be processed under an emergency, wartime authority — not immigration law. Instead, they would be eligible to be detained and deported, with little to no due process, under Title 50, the section of the U.S. code housing America’s war and defense laws.”

    The ‘Alien Enemies Act’ has only been used a few times in US history, including during World War II.

    The Eisenhower government used it to surveil and detain nationals from Italy, Germany and Japan.

    The invocation of the act targeting migrants from countries that the US is not actively at war with will most likely face legal challenges.

    The invocation of this Law was indicated in an executive order signed by Trump on his first day back at the White House.

    The EO directed State department and Homeland Security to plan for the invocation of the law, and prepare detaining facilities ‘to expedite the removal’ of the criminal illegal aliens affected by it.

    My late grandfather is still to this day the wisest man I’ve ever met.

    Grandpa had common sense. He came to America from Germany in the early 1900s, without a dime to his name. He worked for 20 years as a butcher. He saved up enough money to start his own butcher store.

    He worked 16-hour days, 6 days a week for 40 years in that little butcher store. It became wildly successful. He became upper middle class. He bought stocks. The stocks went up. He prospered. He became a leader in the business community. That little butcher store paid for his two grandchildren (me and my sister) to attend Ivy League college- Columbia University.

    One little butcher store with six butcher blocks- that’s all it took to achieve the American Dream.

    Grandpa taught me the key to success. He said…

    “There are only two rules in business. Rule number one- the customer is always right. Rule number two- if the customer is wrong, refer back to rule number one.”

    Those two rules helped Grandpa achieve the American dream. He treated his customers like gold. He rolled out the red carpet. He sold only the best cuts of meat. He made sure they were always satisfied, or he gave them their meat for free. He knew without his customers, he was out of business.

    This is why President Trump is a brilliant businessman and leader. This is why Trump’s tariffs will succeed and Trump (and America) will win the trade wars.

    Because America is the world’s number one customer.

    And the customer is always right. The customer always wins. No business or economy can survive without its customers. They call the shots. Even when they are wrong, refer back to rule number one…

    The customer is always right.

    American consumers buy everything from everyone. If we sneeze, the world economy catches a cold. If we stop buying their products, the world economy collapses.

    Without our consumers, the economies of China, Canada, Mexico and the EU all collapse. They can’t win this trade war. We hold all the cards.

    China has over a billion citizens- but they’re mostly poor-living in abject poverty. India has over a billion citizens- but they’re mostly poor- living in abject poverty. We don’t depend on China or India, let alone Mexico or Canada. We don’t need them.

    But they all need us.

    The third largest country in the world is America- and our 330 million citizens are mostly rich by the world’s standards. They have a high standard of living- the best in world history. Even Americans who are poor, are rich by world standards. They have disposable income, and they love to spend, spend, spend. We buy everything everyone else makes- electronics, jewelry, toys, clothing, furniture, fabrics, carpets, construction materials like steel and aluminum. We buy EVERYTHING.

    Without the US buying, everyone in the world is up sh**t’s creek without a paddle.

    President Trump knows this. He knows the rest of the world depends on American consumers buying their goods. He knows they can’t survive without us. That gives us POWER.

    So, the rest of the world can cry, and scream, and huff and puff, and threaten to blow our house down, but it’s all a bluff. In the end, they can’t last. They will starve if we stop buying. They will all fold to Trump’s demands.

    Trump and American consumers hold all the cards.

    Here are the only possibilities that will come out of these trade/tariff wars…

    1. We stop buying from China and the rest of the world. Their economies collapse.

    2. China and the rest of the world eventually gives in, they survive, but we win.

    3. Because they give in, Trump lowers tariffs on each country. But the money that pours in from even low tariffs pays our taxes, and Trump can use all that money to either lower income taxes dramatically; or end income taxes entirely.

    4. Even if these countries give in, and we lower tariffs, the ball has started rolling in the right direction- we bring more manufacturing back to the USA. We create more jobs for middle class Americans. More Americans buy American goods. Our country prospers.

    5. To satisfy Trump, Mexico and Canada secure the border. Drug trafficking is greatly reduced. And China stops the flow of fentanyl. Over the next decade that saves the lives of about ONE MILLION American young people. Those are your sons and daughters.

    6. We bring the manufacturing of crucial supply chains back to the USA- like prescription drugs, antibiotics, and the computer chips that run our cars, computers, cell phones, appliances and military equipment- tanks, fighter jets, missiles and battleships.

    7. And if the trade war lasts a while, and therefore prices do go up- remember, US consumers have a choice- buy American and save money.

    8. There’s one more possibility no one is talking about. Any increase in prices can be eaten by China, or China’s American suppliers. Who says the consumer pays for the tariffs? That’s a scare tactic. If they want to keep selling their goods, China and the others will eat the cost, or ask Walmart, Costco, Home Depot and CVS to eat the cost (or split the cost). These tariffs may wind up costing U.S. consumers little, or nothing.

    Those long-term accomplishments will supercharge our economy, keep us the strongest nation in the world, make Americans prosperous, save our children’s lives, and in the case of a war with China- keep America strong and safe from having our supply chains taken away.

    Will there be a little short-term pain? Sure. But it’s worth it. “No pain, no gain.”

    In the end, Trump is right- again. America will win this trade/tariff war. Because as my grandfather said all those years ago…

    The customer is always right.

    The White House on Thursday afternoon issued a scathing response to a federal judge’s order rehiring tens of thousands of fired probationary workers.

    As previously reported, federal judge on Thursday said the Trump Administration’s Office of Personnel Management (OPM) illegally fired thousands of probationary employees.

    President Trump has fired tens of thousands of probationary workers as he works to downsize the federal government and cut waste.

    US District Judge William Alsup, a Clinton appointee, ordered the Trump Administration to rehire thousands of fired probationary employees in six federal agencies.

    The judge blasted the Trump Administration and said he felt “misled by the US Government” as he ordered six federal agencies to offer reinstatement to fired probationary workers.

    “It is a sad day when our government would fire some good employee and say it was based on performance when they know good and well that’s a lie,” Judge Alsup said. “That should not have been done in our country. It was a sham in order to avoid statutory requirements.”

    The six government agencies include: VA, DOD, Energy, Interior, Treasury and Agriculture.

    The White House responded to Judge Alsup’s order and said they will immediately fight back and appeal.

    “A single judge is attempting to unconstitutionally seize the power of hiring and firing from the Executive Branch. The President has the authority to exercise the power of the entire executive branch – singular district court judges cannot abuse the power of the entire judiciary to thwart the President’s agenda,” Karoline Leavitt said.

    If a federal district court judge would like executive powers, they can try and run for President themselves. The Trump Administration will immediately fight back against this absurd and unconstitutional order,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.

    President Trump asked the US Supreme Court to intervene in the birthright citizenship fight.

    Four federal judges have blocked President Trump’s birthright citizenship executive order.

    According to President Trump’s order, the 14th Amendment is being misinterpreted by the left to give citizenship to ‘anchor babies.’

    “It is the policy of the United States that no department or agency of the United States government shall issue documents recognizing United States citizenship, or accept documents issued by State, local, or other governments or authorities purporting to recognize United States citizenship, to persons: (1) when that person’s mother was unlawfully present in the United States and the person’s father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth, or (2) when that person’s mother’s presence in the United States was lawful but temporary, and the person’s father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth,” Trump’s order stated.

    Trump’s order argued the 14th Amendment has always excluded babies born to people in the US illegally.

    “[The] Fourteenth Amendment has never been interpreted to extend citizenship universally to everyone born within the United States. The Fourteenth Amendment has always excluded from birthright citizenship persons who were born in the United States but not “subject to the jurisdiction thereof.” Consistent with this understanding, the Congress has further specified through legislation that “a person born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof” is a national and citizen of the United States at birth, 8 U.S.C. 1401, generally mirroring the Fourteenth Amendment’s text,” the order stated.

    The Appeals Court last month said it couldn’t end birthright citizenship so President Trump took the fight to the US Supreme Court.

    President Trump asked the Supreme Court to stay the nationwide injunctions issued by the federal judges.

    “These cases – which involve challenges to the President’s January 20, 2025 Executive Order concerning birthright citizenship – raise important constitutional questions with major ramifications for securing the border,” Acting Solicitor General Sarah Harris wrote, according to Fox News.

    “But at this stage, the government comes to this Court with a ‘modest’ request: while the parties litigate weighty merits questions, the Court should ‘restrict the scope’ of multiple preliminary injunctions that ‘purpor[t] to cover every person in the country,’ limiting those injunctions to parties actually within the courts’ power,” Harris wrote.

    Fox News reported:

    The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court on Thursday to intervene and allow a narrow version of his executive order banning birthright citizenship to move forward, challenging three nationwide injunctions brought in Maryland, Massachusetts and Washington state.

    Judges in those states immediately moved to block President Donald Trump’s order banning birthright citizenship, which he signed on his first day in office.

    All three courts blocked the ruling nationwide – something lawyers for the Trump administration argued in their Supreme Court filing is overly broad.

    In the court filing Thursday, acting U.S. Solicitor General Sarah Harris said the courts had gone too far, and asked the Supreme Court justices to limit the scope of the rulings to cover only individuals directly impacted by the relevant courts.

    In an explosive interview with Benny Johnson, Comer laid out a damning case against the far-left fundraising juggernaut, accusing it of funneling billions in suspicious cash—potentially from foreign adversaries—into Democrat coffers under the guise of “grassroots” donations.

    “We’re investigating ActBlue the same way we investigated the Bidens,” Comer said. “We’re starting with the suspicious activity reports—bank violations that flag financial crimes. And let me tell you, the evidence is overwhelming.”

    As Comer’s investigation progresses, chaos is unfolding inside ActBlue. Key executives are resigning. Lawyers are jumping ship. Employees are getting locked out of their computers, sending frantic messages about whistleblowers.

    Chairman Comer, I got to tell you, man, this thing is just rotten. It’s just rotten. I don’t know if we have the direct evidence just yet, but man, you sure can put the pieces together and say that ActBlue must be one of the largest money-laundering organs this side of the Biden family.

    And that’s exactly how we’re going to investigate this—the same way we investigated the Bidens. We’re starting with the suspicious activity reports. These are the bank violations that, if anyone commits a financial crime, the banks will catch it.

    I come from a banking background, and I can tell you there are extensive security measures in place. Banks have auditors, compliance officers, and bank examiners. They catch suspicious activity, especially if it’s on a large scale with numerous transactions.

    So what I tried to do back last summer was request the suspicious activity reports from Janet Yellen in the Biden administration. They would not reply to my request. We knew that ActBlue was processing a ridiculous amount of money.

    Heck, my opponent—whom I beat by 50 points—raised several hundred thousand dollars on ActBlue, despite having zero chance of winning. If you ranked the races from 1 to 435, hers wouldn’t even be in the top 400 in terms of competitiveness. Yet she was still getting all these mysterious donations. You had House candidates whose campaign budgets were 80% funded by anonymous small donors on ActBlue.

    James Comer:
    So we smelled something. Obviously, it came out—what Rubio said—that they weren’t using the code on the back of credit cards, which allowed for fraud. It just didn’t make sense. Like the woman in that clip—she had $180,000 worth of donations.

    We requested these violations, and they wouldn’t give them to us. After the election, Janet Yellen let a few of my staffers go in there. They saw that, yes, there were several hundred suspicious activity reports from various banks. We got to look at 12 of them. I can tell you, they were bad. They were exactly what we suspected.

    We requested to see more, but they cut us off. Obviously, they were involved in the transition and all that. Now, we’ve got a new Treasury Secretary. We’re supposed to go in there next week or so to examine them all. But from what we’ve already seen—from media reports and the few bank violations we’ve reviewed—many of our worst theories regarding ActBlue are going to be confirmed.

    That’s why so many people are hitting the exits at ActBlue right now.

    Really? It’s your investigation that’s causing this panic? Because I’ve seen ActBlue operate for decades, and I’ve never seen anything like this. Everyone’s leaving. The entire leadership is gone. The lawyers are fleeing.

    The headlines would come out any time we were about to do a deposition. And lo and behold, from The New York Times to MSNBC, they would all have the exact same talking points. Word for word. Every time, they’d say, “No evidence. The deposition was a failure,” even before we swore the witness in.

    And now, they’re colluding again, this time saying, “Oh, my gosh! Every Democrat in the United States is sitting at home, making numerous $100 donations to Kamala Harris and all the Democrats running in the purple seats across America!”

    Whoever’s behind the curtain—whoever was calling the shots at the White House—whoever was colluding with the media to misinform their viewers about ActBlue or the Bidens’ finances—that’s where the money is going to come from.

    And I think we know some familiar names that will be at the root of this when it’s all said and done.

    So what you’re alleging here, Mr. Chairman, is that this is the largest money-laundering scam in the history of American politics?

    We’ve been requesting information from ActBlue for months now. If they were innocent, they’d be going on TV, trashing me. They’d be calling me a conspiracy theorist—just like they did during the Biden investigation.

    But they’re not saying anything. They’re leaving. Their lawyers are leaving. And when the lawyers leave, that’s a pretty good sign that something bad is going on.

    Let me read just one example. Kerry Alberti—not trying to pick on this sweet 80-year-old woman from Richmond, Virginia. She lives in a rent-controlled apartment, $2,000 a month. A humble place.

    She’s surely on Social Security, not living large. Yet, in the last 500 days, she’s made 22,619 donations—totaling $800,397. That’s nearly a million dollars donated by this little old lady on a fixed income.

    How is that possible?

    James Comer:
    Well, she’d have to have a pretty big credit card limit to do that.

    Whether it’s through a credit card or a wire transfer to ActBlue, it all starts at a bank. And that’s the key to money laundering—it has to go through a bank.

    If one bank—or multiple banks—are seeing this kind of suspicious activity, they will flag it. If her usual credit card bill is $350 a month, but suddenly she’s putting $15,000 a month in ActBlue donations, the banks will notice.

    All that information is sitting in the Treasury. And you might ask, “Why is it in the Treasury?” Well, the FBI should be looking into it. There could have been an investigation started long before the Trump administration.

    But at the end of the day, I think what you’re going to see here is that there was a cover-up—just like what we found with the Bidens.

    James Comer:
    It wasn’t just Biden’s crimes—it was the government cover-up.

    With ActBlue, federal agencies knew this money was being laundered. It’s not humanly possible to raise that much money. There aren’t enough Democrats in America to make that many small-dollar donations adding up to billions of dollars.

    It’s not possible.

    Benny Johnson:
    Even polling shows that over decades, the left is not a generous group. They like to say they’re generous, but they aren’t. Conservatives are twice as likely to donate—probably because they’re more successful and have extra capital.

    But what you’re alleging, Mr. Chairman, is that the corporate media creates a fake story about an overwhelming grassroots movement to give cover for a massive money-laundering operation—potentially involving foreign entities like China or Iran.

    Am I getting this right?

    James Comer:
    Yes, and because they didn’t require that credit card code Marco Rubio mentioned, it made it easier to do.

    What you’ll see is: the Biden administration didn’t cooperate with our investigation before the election. They stalled, and now that we’re in a new administration, we’re going to dig deeper.

    Two family members of one of America’s top conservative voices were swatted last night.

    This morning, on “X,” Nick Sorter, who has over 900K followers on X, shared a chilling explanation of how his sister and his father could have both been killed last night during fake police reports that led to both of their homes being “swatted” by the police. “Swatting” happens when someone reports a made-up crime at a specific address. The police respond to the caller’s false crime with SWAT teams or Special Weapons and Tactics, placing the individuals inside the home in grave danger.

    When an individual or an individual’s family is “swatted,” it opens the door for an innocent person to be seriously harmed or even killed by law enforcement who have no reason to believe the caller has manufactured the crime.

    Nick Sorter explains what happened here:

    This is nothing short of attempted murder. They wanted the police to kill my father.

    Along with his explanation of what happened last night, Nick Sortor responded directly to the person or people who swatted his family.

    Unfortunately for the swatter, I WILL NOT stop. I WILL NOT shut up. And you WILL NOT win.

    This afternoon, another popular conservative with 1.3 million followers on “X,” revealed that he and his family were victims of a fake swatting call.

    Gunther Eagleman let the person or people who sent the SWAT team to his home over a fake crime, that he will find out who they are and warned them this was “their worst mistake.”
