Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    • Yes it would be surrounded, this is why they are busy buying politicians to oppose the US, they know that if President Trump can do what he wants to do the US will be much more secure and China will be much weaker.

    • Together – PT and Uncle Vlad could squeeze out China, reap the Arctic, and fix governance in Canada. But there’s a short window of time.

      Unless Putin cracks down on illegal, tardish, terrorist aliens, whoever follows him will do Stalin’s Great Terror all over again. Putin is widely criticized for focusing more on diplomacy and the “Global South” than the ‘Stans popping up all over.

      • I don’t think we have to worry about the shot time window, from what I see the global crisis is sprinting towards us with rocket assist. What I am worried about is the way the left is hampering things in the US, I am afraid they will upset what needs to be done long enough to make things very nasty for everyone.

        • If anything, they should get started while PT is in office. He’s not going to tolerate a reprise of 2020.

  5. Where have people had success is slowing down the 15-minute city movement? I’m in an area that is eminently walkable, but we are being told that the neighbood zoning will change to accommodate high-density housing, fewer vehicles, slower road speeds, caneras at intersections, and roads portioned out by lane for bikes, public vehicles, and private vehicles. This is all done for the sake of “walkability,” despite the predictable effect it will have on crushing two kosher dozen businesses, Jewish schools, and houses of worship,. This plan would end up reducing density as families with 4+ children flee an area now destined to have two-bedroom apartments.

    • The planners who we are taxed to pay are lying about increased walkability and we know they’re lying. Because they know that we know, they want to waive development requirements and developer taxes and start dismantling the established community this next year

        • That it is, this rapid movement towards global chaos is why I am not worried about PT and Putin not getting together to block China out of the Arctic.

            Now we have more urgent business to take care of.

            China, Russia, and Iran do all they can to fuel the insanity on our own streets. When we put down the mad dogs here, they’ll think twice about messing with us.

            The Filthy Turk is a problem for everyone. Israel wants Russia to keep its bases in Syria, on the Mediterranean. Otherwise, it’s back to the Ottoman Empire.

            There are rumors about PT and Putin cooperating to take Ukraine and Iran off the problem list for each other. It’ll take compromises that might keep things at a low simmer, but who knows?

            • That makes sense, we shut down the corruption and general idiocy of Ukraine and Putin takes out the Iranian leaders and nuclear program. After all an Iranian missile that will reach Israel will reach deep into Russia.

    Four Democrat Mayors of ‘sanctuary cities’ testified before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday.

    Mayors Eric Adams of New York City, Mike Johnston of Denver, Brandon Johnson of Chicago and Michelle Wu of Boston all testified on Wednesday.

    Rep. Virginia Foxx forced the mayors to admit how much they have spent on illegal aliens over the last four years.

    Chicago spent: $574.5 million
    Denver spent: $79.0 million
    New York City spent: $6.9 BILLION

    Boston doesn’t keep track so Mayor Wu claimed she doesn’t know.

    Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (FL) on Wednesday criminally referred the four mayors to the DOJ for investigation.

    “You are in direct violation of 8 U.S. Code § 1324,” Rep. Luna said to the mayors accusing them of aiding and abetting.

    “I’m all going to be criminally referring you to the Department of Justice for investigation, and as soon as I leave here, these will be going over to Pam Bondi,” Rep. Luna said.

    It is now up to the Justice Department to prosecute the mayors.

    Far-left Twitch streamer Hasan Piker went on yet another unhinged rant a few days ago criticizing Republican speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson’s approach to fixing Medicaid fraud.

    Piker took to Twitch, which is owned by Amazon, and where he has close to three million followers, to fantasize about the murder of a U.S. Senator.

    His suggestion for Johnson, “if he really wants to address Medicaid fraud,” is to “murder” Senator Rick Scott (R-FL).

    “If you [Mike Johnson]cared about Medicare or Medicaid fraud, you would kill Rick Scott, ok.”

    “You wouldn’t make Rick Scott, former Governor of Florida Rick Scott, you wouldn’t make him the current…what is his current office? What is he?”

    “Richard Lynn Scott is an American attorney, businessman, politician, serving as the senior senator from Florida, a seat he has held since 2019, and also, I believe, this past election cycle, was literally the fu**ing head of like the, what was it? The Senate committee or something of public and fundraising initiatives.”

    Per Dexerto, Piker tried to dial back his violent rhetoric saying, “I should not have said, ‘Mike Johnson should kill Rick Scott’, I should have simply said that Mike Johnson should punish Rick Scott.”

    But then he added a nuance to return to the idea of killing Scott.

    “I shouldn’t have used the term, ‘kill.’ I should have used the term either capital punishment or just punishment in general.

    Apparently, this was enough of an apology and Piker is back after only a day.

    Piker is the nephew of The Young Turks, Cenk Uygur’s. In 2019, Piker shockingly declared that “America deserved 9-11”.

    Piker’s call for violence is especially troubling and dangerous after the disturbing rock star status earned by Luigi Mangioni after the shocking murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

    The Gateway Pundit reported that House Republicans have pushed to erase the Black Lives Matter Plaza mural in Washington, DC.

    The street was painted with the words “Black Lives Matter.” In June 2020, during the height of the George Floyd riots and Covid lockdowns, radical Democrat DC Mayor Muriel Bowser renamed a part of 16th Street NW in DC “Black Lives Matter Plaza.”

    Now Bowser has announced the mural’s “evolution” in a post on X.

    “We have long considered Black Lives Matter Plaza’s evolution and the Plaza will be part of DC’s America 250 mural project, where we will invite students and artists to create new murals across all eight wards.”

    “The mural inspired millions of people and helped our city through a painful period, but now we can’t afford to be distracted by meaningless congressional interference.”

    Bowser then switched to an unrelated topic, unable to pass up the opportunity to spout political talking points.

    “The devastating impacts of the federal job cuts must be our number one concern.”

    “Our focus is on economic growth, public safety, and supporting our residents affected by these cuts.”

    Her move came one day after Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., introduced H.R. 1774. If passed, the bill would “withhold certain apportionment funds from the District of Columbia unless the Mayor of the District of Columbia removes the phrase Black Lives Matter from the street symbolically designated as Black Lives Matter Plaza, redesignates such street as Liberty Plaza, and removes such phrase from each website, document, and other material under the jurisdiction of the District of Columbia.”

    Black Lives Matter Plaza in DC is finally being renamed and replaced with a mural designed by DC schoolchildren.

    The O’Keefe Media Group on Wednesday released undercover video of a State Farm VP attacking Los Angeles fire victims and admitting State Farm is excluding white people from employement.

    State Farm VP of Innovation and Venture Capital Haden Kirkpatrick told an OMG undercover journalist that, “Areas like where the Palisades are, there should never be houses built in the first place…it’s a tinderbox.”

    Kirkpatrick also said he wants to reshape the workforce at State Farm to include more Latinos – he also admitted State Farm is excluding whites from employment.

    “I personally, I task my HR team, finding me… the perfect profile of the workforce of the future,” Haden Kirkpatrick said. “I want the 2040 workforce. So go find me the demographic profile of America in 2040: more Hispanic and Latinos.”

    When questioned about whether this preference related to race applied to his personal life, Kirkpatrick doubled down: “Away from my own kind” – meaning whites.

    “People want to build in areas where they want to have, like, natural areas around them for their ego. But it’s also a f*cking desert. And so, it dries out as a tinderbox.” He also acknowledged that wildfires in these areas are not surprising to insurance professionals, claiming, “Climate change is pushing these seasons.” He explained, “If you’re an insurance professional, it’s predictable.”

    Kirkpatrick also admitted State Farm’s to pull out of the California market was a calculated move: “Our people look at this and say, ‘Sh*t, we’ve got, like, maybe $5 billion that we’re short if something happens.’ We’ll go to the Department of Insurance and say, ‘We’re overexposed here, you have to let us catch up our rate.’ And they’ll say, ‘Nah.’ And we’ll say, ‘Okay, then we are going to cancel these policies.’”

  11. HORROR: Nine Students Who Disappeared During Vacation in Mexico Found Dismembered on Side of Road

    Nine students who went missing late last month during a vacation in southern Mexico were found dismembered on the side of a highway this week.

    Authorities found the deceased victims in a trunk of an abandoned car on the side a road on the border of Puebla and Oaxaca. A bag of severed hands was discovered nearby.

    The victims, who were all from Mexico, were shot and tortured before being dismembered.

    “Most of the victims have been identified: Angie Lizeth, Leslie, Brenda Mariel, Jacqueline Ailet, Noemi Yamileth, Raul Emmanuel, Ruben Antonio, and Rolando Armando,” The New York Post reported.

    No suspects have been identified.

    The New York Post reported:

    The bodies of nine students who went missing on vacation in southern Mexico last month have been found dismembered by the side of a local highway — with a bag of hands nearby.

    The group’s gruesome remains were discovered in the trunk of an abandoned vehicle and underneath a blood-covered tarp in San Jose Miahuatlan on the border of the Mexican states of Puebla and Oaxaca.

    Four of the bodies were in the trunk, while the other five corpses were left under the tarp.

    A bag with eight pairs of hands was also found at the scene, with two more hands left in the trunk, reported Periodico Central.

    The bodies of the four women and five men, ages 19 to 30, all had bullet wounds and signs of torture, according to El Financiero.

    The group, which was from Tlaxcala, was reported missing Feb. 27 when they traveled to the beaches in Oaxaca for a vacation.

    The US State Department has issued a Mexico travel advisory to Americans due to violent crime such as kidnappings, carjackings, robbery and homicide.

    In a statement issued late on Tuesday, the ministry said Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the security forces for taking timely action and thwarting the attack after killing six Fitna al Khawarij terrorists. The government refers to the proscribed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and it affiliates as Fitna al Khawarij.
    According to a source, the Jaish-i-Fursan Muha­m­mad, a faction of the outlawed Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, claimed res­ponsibility for the att­ack on social media. How­ever, the claim could not be independently verified.
    In a separate statement, KP government spokesperson Barrister Saif said: “The terrorists failed in the attack due to the timely action of security forces. All the attackers have been killed,” adding that the roofs of nearby buildings and a mosque collapsed due to blasts.

    Seven of the civilian casualties in the violence late Tuesday were children while five were women. Jaish al-Fursan, a militant group linked to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, claimed responsibility for the attack and declared that dozens of soldiers were killed.
    The army said its prompt response to the militant incursion into the cantonment city helped thwart what could have been a suicide attack with far more devastating consequences. All 16 militants involved in the raid were killed, taking the casualties to 34, the military’s media wing said.
    Schools and shops in Bannu city didn’t open the morning after and remained shut throughout the day, reflecting that gloom that descended in the area, adjacent to the restive North Waziristan tribal district bordering Afghanistan.     Let me start with the obvious…

    President Trump gave one of the greatest (if not, THE greatest) joint session of Congress/State of the Union speeches in history.

    President Trump is as masterful at telling compelling stories as any President in history.

    President Trump brilliantly positioned Democrats to self- destruct and destroy themselves.

    Democrats took the bait and chose to commit political suicide last night.

    Lastly, if anybody in America still claims to be a Democrat after that ass-kicking, in front of the whole world, they belong in a mental institution.

    Now that we’ve gotten those simple and straight-forward observations out of the way, let me get to the root (excuse the pun) of this commentary.

    It’s just not possible to react the way that the Democrat leadership of our nation did last night. They’re clearly not normal, or sane people. I don’t even think they’re human…

    They’re clearly from the planet Ur-Anus.

    I’m an All-American straight male. I never cry.

    Certainly never in public.

    But last night, I teared up at least a half dozen times. If you didn’t feel raw emotion at the All-American stories and tragedies on display last night, you’re not human. You have no heart. You’re the tin man, or a cyborg, or an evil, heartless communist. And now we know…

    That’s exactly what Democrats are: Mean-spirited, vile, vicious, heartless communists.

    I can think of several moments that made me tear up last night…

    The mothers present in the gallery whose daughters were raped and murdered by evil illegal aliens allowed into this country by the disgraceful Biden administration.

    I’m talking about the mom of Laken Riley, the nursing student who was murdered by an illegal alien, after a long struggle for her life. Trump promised her that her daughter’s murder would not be in vain. So, he signed the Laken Riley Act to deport evil violent illegal alien criminals.

    If you weren’t tearing up, or cheering, you’re not human.

    Or the mother of 12-year old Joceyln Nungaray who was assaulted and raped for two hours, then murdered by illegal aliens in Houston, Texas. President Trump announced he was naming a wildlife refuge near Houston in her name. Trump actually held up the signed Executive Order for Jocelyn’s mom to see.

    Or the teenage volleyball player who was almost killed in a volleyball game when a transgender boy, posing as a girl, hit her in the face with the volleyball so hard, she is now brain damaged and partially paralyzed. Trump announced he has signed an Executive Order protecting girls sports from transgender men.

    Or the wife of a murdered New York police officer who is now raising a 1-year old son alone. Incidentally, President Trump found the time to attend the officer’s wake last year, while President Biden never even called. Trump announced he is fighting for legislation to give the death penalty to cop killers.

    If you weren’t tearing up, or cheering, you’re not human.

    Or when President Trump paid homage to the wife and daughters of the hero fire chief, Corey Comperatore, who was killed in Butler, PA by the bullets of an assassin trying to murder President Trump.

    If you weren’t tearing up, or cheering, you’re not human.

    Or the son of a murdered cop who has grown up to be a fine young man, whose goal in life is to be a police officer like his late father, and to attend West Point. Trump announced on the spot this All-American young man is now accepted into West Point.

    If you weren’t tearing up, or cheering, you’re not human.

    Or the schoolteacher abandoned in a Russian prison by President Biden, who President Trump brought home in his first days in office- after promising his 95-year old mom at that fateful Butler, Pa rally.

    If you weren’t tearing up, or cheering, you’re not human.

    But I’ve saved the best for last. Trump honored DJ Daniel, a 13-year old boy fighting brain cancer, who wants to be a police officer, by making him a special agent for the Secret Service. The Director of the Secret Service suddenly appeared to give the little boy his Secret Service badge.

    And if that wasn’t enough to bring you to tears, the little boy jumped into the arms of the Secret Service Director to hug him like he loved him. It was the most touching moment I’ve ever seen during a Presidential address in my life.

    Later, when the son of that murdered cop was told by President Trump he is now accepted into West Point, that little boy DJ Daniel came running across the aisle to high-five the murdered cop’s son.

    Folks, these scenes are what make America the greatest nation in world history.

    We’re not like any other nation ever. We are special. We are one in a billion. We are touched and blessed by God.

    And so is President Trump, clearly.

    God saved President Trump from assassination for moments such as these. Trump is “the Chosen One”- chosen by God to make America great again.

    And these Democrats on display last night aren’t human. They didn’t clap, or cheer, or stand-up, or tear-up for these amazing stories, or these amazing All-American heroes. They sat on their hands, or texted on their phones, or held up childish signs, with bored, dirty, disgusted looks on their faces.

    These Democrat leaders are either evil, mentally-ill, owned by China, or under the spell of Satan. Or all of the above.

    Now we know: They’re not human. They’re not even from this planet. They’re from the planet “Ur-Anus.”

    Deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, known for his maximalist takes on issues, has said: “Inflicting maximum damage to the Kiev regime on the ground remains the main task of the Russian Federation.”

    And that’s what’s happening: the Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that no less than 85 settlements have been liberated since December.

    Besides the ground troop advances, there is also the question of the punishing regime of air strikes by missiles and drones.

    The Ukrainian power-generating capabilities are getting decimated, and several other high-value targets are getting pounded.

    On March 1st, Russian forces executed a deadly missile strike on an accumulation of troops in the Novomoskovsk training ground in the Dnipro region.

    This Ukrainian military training base from was staffed by the 157th Separate Mechanized Brigade, a group that fought near Kurakhovo, and have also been stationed near Pokrovsk.

    The Iskander missile attack reportedly killed over 150 Ukrainian soldiers and 30 ‘Foreign instructors’ (a.k.a. mercenaries).

    Kyiv Post reported:

    “The Suspilne media outlet, citing sources, reports that one of the regional hospitals in the Dnipropetrovsk region is currently treating a large number of wounded following the attack. A volunteer assisting local hospitals confirmed the severity of the situation, stating that he had been collecting aid for medical facilities and that relatives of servicemen had contacted him for help in locating those who could not be reached.

    Serhiy, the head of the medical service at one of the hospitals in the region, confirmed that wounded servicemen had been admitted and that their conditions had been stabilized.”

    All the wounded had mine-blast injuries with shrapnel wounds affecting various parts of the body.

    “The Russian Defense Ministry claimed it had targeted the site using an Iskander-M ‘operational-tactical’ missile system, writing ‘As a result of the strike, up to 150 Ukrainian nationals were killed, [and] up to 30 foreign instructors’.”
    The cargo ship MSC Levante F, reportedly carrying UK weapons and military aid, was hit by a missile at the port of Odesa

    Also, on March 1st, Russia carried a strike against a cargo vessel carrying weapons and military equipment bound for Ukraine, that they claimed to have sunk.

    ‘The container ship was struck as it prepared to unload’, the Telegram channel claimed. ‘After the strike detonations began, the cargo was completely destroyed, the ship sank’.”

    The U.S. Senate failed to advance U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s (R-Auburn) Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act on Monday after the body could not garner enough support to cloture debate and proceed to a final vote.

    The legislation would define a person’s sex based on their biological sex at birth when applying Title IX code, the sweeping name given to civil rights legislation prohibiting sex-based education discrimination. It would also remove federal funding from schools that allow biological men in female-only spaces.

    Tuberville’s bill does the same thing as President Donald Trump’s Keeping Men Out of Women Sports executive order. However, Tuberville warned that the order would only last as long as Trump is in office, highlighting the need to codify it into law.

    Tuberville spoke on the Senate floor Monday, which was presided over by fellow Alabama U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery). He highlighted his efforts to advance the bill over numerous years.

    “Third times the charm,” Tuberville said. “This is the third time that I’ve had a vote on this bill. The other two times has failed because we have had almost zero Democrats help to support women and girls in sports. Over the past four years, women’s sports at all levels has been under attack. Since the beginning of time, people have agreed that sex is assigned at birth and determined by god. But under [the] Biden administration, you had people claiming that men can get pregnant; pure absolute insanity.”

    “But it didn’t stop there. They weren’t content just to erase gender norms that have been accepted for thousands of years, no. They wanted to allow transgender men to participate in women’s and girls’ sports. This has been happening at schools all across our country. We have women’s teams in some states that are all boys.   16. Connecticut Bill Seeks to Punish Gun Makers for Crimes Committed by Others

    I remember the first time I heard about a lawsuit where someone was trying to punish a firearm manufacturer for someone being shot. I thought it was the most asinine thing I’d ever heard. Even if the company sold directly to the individual, unless they somehow committed an illegal sale, they weren’t responsible for what happened in any way.

    Of course, this came up on Tuesday with Mexico v. Smith & Wesson being argued before the Supreme Court. The term is “proximate cause,” where there should be a reasonable understanding that doing something will result in something else happening.

    Lawsuits like this led to the creation of the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, or PLCAA.

    It seems Connecticut thinks they can circumvent that.

    Connecticut lawmakers have introduced House Bill 7042, a proposed law that could fundamentally change how firearm sales are regulated. The bill, titled the Firearm Industry Responsibility Act, would allow civil lawsuits to be filed against gun dealers, manufacturers, and distributors if a firearm they sold is later used in a crime. While the bill is still in the early stages of legislative review, it has already sparked strong reactions from both gun rights advocates and legal analysts who see it as a direct attack on gun sellers and possibly an attempt to force gun shops out of business.

    The text of HB 7042 makes it clear that the law would apply not just to gun sellers but to anyone involved in firearm sales, distribution, or marketing. The bill’s language classifies firearm industry members as any person or business engaged in the sale or promotion of firearms, accessories, or ammunition. This means that not just licensed gun dealers (FFLs) would be affected, but also manufacturers, online retailers, and even potentially firearm-related content creators.

    According to Derek Reeves, host of Connecticut Gun Bench, the bill is written so broadly that it could be used to shut down nearly every gun shop in the state. Reeves argues that because the law would allow lawsuits if a gun dealer “should have reasonably foreseen” that a firearm might be used in a crime, it essentially makes FFLs responsible for the actions of criminals they’ve never met.

    Basically, HB 7042 means that a lawful gun dealer is responsible for everything that happens, the phrase “should have reasonably foreseen” notwithstanding. After all, as we saw in Mexico’s arguments, some people think that any firearm sale should be treated as if one should reasonably foresee that the gun sold would be used in a criminal action.

    Further, this seeks to punish gun dealers for not making modifications impossible to the guns. In other words, if they sell a Glock and a criminal puts a full-auto switch on it, then the dealer is responsible for not making it where the gun can’t be modified.

    Which, to anyone familiar with guns, is impossible. You can’t do it. It’s just a matter of how badly someone wants to modify the gun, and with how a full-auto switch on a Glock works, I don’t see how you could prevent it from being modified at all. Even if you somehow secure the backplate on the slide, just replacing the slide renders that fix moot.

    Other guns fall into the same camp. How can you actually prevent them being modified in such a way that they still function? The short answer is that you can’t, meaning every gun dealer in the state will be on the hook sooner or later.

    The bill also seeks to penalize literally anyone involved in the selling of a gun, including the marketing guys.

    This is a bill that is so egregious that words cannot adequately describe how bad it is. Especially since it seeks to try and undermine the PLCAA in and of itself.

    Yes, this is in the early days, and I sincerely hope Connecticut has enough sense not to go down this road, but this is Connecticut we’re talking about here. They’ll probably do this eventually, then they’ll get sued and lose in court, but in the meantime, a lot of people may lose their livelihoods over things that were beyond their control.

    Tommy Robinson’s legal team appointed an independent Clinical Psychologist, with a Doctorate and 15+ years in NHS forensic mental health to assess him and they deliver a damning report: ‘This is mental torture.’

    Assessing him with ADHD and Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), she warns, ‘Solitary confinement is directly related to the reactivation of past CPTSD due to the similar environment.’

    His legal team has launched an emergency court challenge due to deterioration in mental health, highlighting multiple human rights violations.

    HMP Woodhill director Nicola Marfleet is now turning away visitors for fear they may post about Tommy’s harrowing coinditions on social media.
