This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    • Inside Russia is actually NOT in Russia. It’s an offshoot of Meduza, registered in Lausanne and owned by a Russian mafia oligarch who made the wrong enemies.

      Propaganda and oppression is central to both sides. Both were trained by the same Soviet masters. PrezZ’s regime is assisted by the intel agencies of the US and the UK.

      Enjoy your ride through Cold War 2 from a comfortable distance. The dusty “experts” are even less relevant today than they were way back when. Too bad you’re not getting paid – of course not! – or warming up a dead career, unlike the others you keep pushing into this space.

        • I have skin in the game.
          And skin-adjacent within the local Orthodox Church community.

          When I see or hear what I know to be vile propaganda, know who’s funding it and why, I can’t let it pass. Not here, not where we’re trying to see what’s in front of us.

          I hope good people will look behind the curtain to see the horrific scale of loss. Under the regime currently in power, Ukrainians can’t get information, can’t impart information. They don’t know if their loved ones at the front are living or dead. Their commanding officers collect salaries of the dead and missing; the govt avoids paying families compensation.

          Brainwashing killed my stepson before the missile shattered his weapons research facility. Both he and his wife refused to let us evacuate our baby grandchildren. He stopped speaking with my Russki – even after 10/7, knowing his brother and father were themselves under fire.

          This is just one story among so many others you’re not hearing. If you were, you’d confront those who are profiting from this nightmare. Even if only for their moment to feel important again. Warmed-over Cold War rhetoric may engage nostalgic interest, but it is indecent when its aim is to prolong this bloodbath.

          Ukrainians here have corrected me: Take care to differentiate the people from the dictator’s clique. It is the REGIME running the country, not the UKRAINIANS.

          PTrump is not immune from criticism, but more often than not he gets it perfectly. When he says elections in Ukraine are overdue, he speaks for those who no longer have a voice. Such insight, such independent thinking can only be a gift from heaven.

    • I am seriously surprised by the unreported larger story: The activity falls within employee training and pay for a fixed number of employee morale-building and personal fitness activities. Taking away clearances for this number of employees, if they are indeed high-performing, wastes the tremendous resources expended in their vetting and training while risking their continued loyalty. It’s distracting theatrics.

      • Further, the manner in which the logs were disclosed (through a third party, the press) is a breach of employee confidentiality and reeks of vengeance, setting the stage for actual blackmail. It’s hard for me to believe that an Agency employee failed to follow proper channels for drawing attention to investigating possible waste of computer resources, so I’m left to question the employee’s motives, which might includude disruption of the Agency.

      Federal officials have reportedly identified the hacker behind the AI video of President Donald Trump kissing the feet of Elon Musk, which was broadcast on televisions in the Housing and Urban Development cafeteria on Monday.

      According to a report, the responsible individual was escorted out of the building once caught.

      This indicates they were a HUD employee, but the report did not explain their role.

      “Yesterday an individual was escorted off the property,” a spokesperson for HUD told the Daily Mail.

      The video, which went viral when the TV takeover happened on Monday, had the caption, “Long Live the Real King.”

      The individual responsible, who has not been publicly identified, may face legal ramifications for their actions.

      “Legal ramifications are being explored,” the HUD spokesperson said. “Additionally, termination or suspension of certain services are being explored as it relates to the department.”

      The spokesperson added, “The monitors at HUD are now showcasing the wins of the Trump administration, including action to lower the cost and expand the supply of affordable housing.

    Cultural Differences
    Stoning, killing apostates, wife beating, cutting off limbs, FGM, child marriage, 4 wives, sex slaves , killing Jews, Christians and other religious minorities are NOAt allowed in Canada.

    Shari’ah law does not supersede Canadian law. Justine Trudeau must think we were all dropped on our heads. Promoting Islam in Canada is treason.

    All roads lead to Obama. He is the shot caller. He is the communist traitor behind everything bad that has happened to America, the US economy, and President Trump.

    I believe it all started at Columbia University.

    Yes, I have a history with Obama. We were college classmates at Columbia University. We were both Pre-Law and political science majors. We both graduated on the same day in 1983. We both went into politics eventually.

    That’s where the similarities ended.

    I’m a conservative warrior and capitalist evangelist. I made millions of dollars as a risk-taking entrepreneur in the business world. He became a “community organizer” (ie a communist traitor).

    I’m pro-business. I believe in economic and personal freedom, free speech, limited government, low taxes and very little regulation.

    Obama hates business. He believes in socialism, massive taxes and government regulation, the green energy scam, open borders and the weaponization of government against free speech.

    Trust me, the root (excuse the pun) of everything bad that has happened to America is called “the Obama problem.” And the secrets to how it started are all found at Columbia University.

    First, how did Obama get into Columbia? In those days there were virtually no college transfers accepted at Columbia. Only the number one student at Harvard might have had a shot. Maybe. But Barack was a lousy student coming from a mediocre college (Occidental). So how did he transfer into Ivy League Columbia in 1981? It was literally impossible.

    I’ve always believed the only way Obama could have been admitted to Columba was as a “foreign exchange student.” Columbia U. loved letting in students from exotic countries- like Indonesia (where Obama grew up). It was a fast-track way to gain acceptance into Columbia.

    Which is fine. Except for the fact that if Obama claimed Indonesian citizenship to get into Columbia U, then he was never qualified to serve as President of the United States.

    Secondly, how did he graduate when he was never there? We were in all the same classes as Pre-Law and political science majors- yet I never saw him once. Neither did any classmate I’ve ever spoken to. Neither did any professor I’ve ever spoken to. Obama was literally “the Ghost of Columbia.”

    I’ve always believed he was either a CIA plant who was given a Columbia U. degree without ever stepping foot on campus, or he spent his two years at Columbia’s sister school in Moscow studying Communism 101.

    Either way, he’s a fraud and “Manchurian Candidate.”

    Lastly, his entire agenda has always been built around a strategy we all learned at Columbia called “Cloward Piven.” This plan was created by two Columbia professors- a husband-wife communist team named Cloward and Piven.

    Whether Obama was ever actually in class at Columbia, or not, his entire agenda and strategy has always been built around “Cloward-Piven.” This plan was a detailed “how to” strategy to destroy America, and capitalism, and the great American middle class, by getting everyone on welfare, food stamps and free healthcare, until the debt explodes, the economy is overwhelmed, and the country collapses.

    Sound familiar? Recognize this plan? It’s exactly what was carried out in Obama’s two terms, and then exploded times one thousand in Obama’s third term (with brain-dead puppet Joe Biden as the frontman).

    But instead of just trying to get everyone in America on welfare, food stamps and free healthcare, Obama expanded the plan on steroids with open borders. Obama and his communist cabal welcomed the entire poverty-stricken and welfare-dependent third world into America to bury our country with debt, overwhelm the economy, and collapse the country.

    Obama also added another twist- which he probably learned from studying communism at Columbia’s sister school in the Soviet Union…

    WEAPONIZATION OF GOVERNMENT.

    Obama used government agencies to destroy his opposition- just like the Soviet KGB. Trump was the target. He received the bulk of the persecution and lawfare. First Obama ordered the spying on Trump and his campaign…then Obama ordered the persecution of Trump with a fraud called “Russian Collusion”…then Obama ordered the indictments against Trump…then Obama, in collusion with New York state communist politicians, ordered the civil suits against Trump to take away his assets and bankrupt him.

    But long before the Trump persecution, there was my persecution.

    Obama began and sharpened his obsession with weaponization by ordering the IRS to destroy his political opposition. Before he targeted Trump, he targeted yours truly.

    I was at the top of Obama’s “Enemies List” for the “crime” of being a regular guest on Fox News and not only exposing Obama for the communist traitor he was (and still is), but also for daring to expose his scams at Columbia U.

    Obama sent the IRS to destroy me from 2010 to 2013. I was attacked day and night by Obama’s version of the Gestapo/Soviet KGB. Like Trump, I survived, but lost tremendous amounts of money, and time, and endured tremendous stress and anguish.

    I believe the attacks and scams perpetrated on America, capitalism, the US economy, and the great American middle class, all started at Columbia U. with Obama’s lies, fraud, scams, and”Cloward-Piven” education.

    And the weaponization, lawfare and persecution perpetrated on President Trump, started with Obama persecuting his Columbia college classmate- Wayne Allyn Root.

    My advice to President Trump, FBI Director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi…

    First, all roads lead to Obama. He is the man behind the spying on President Trump, the “Russian Collusion” scam, the green energy scam, the intentional destruction of America with open borders, and the persecution of President Trump. It all starts and ends with Obama. He called all the shots. Investigate and prosecute Obama.

    Second, the secrets that launched this evil communist “Manchurian Candidate” all started at Columbia University. Go back to Columbia. Demand to see Obama’s files. Demand to see how he admitted to Columbia. Demand to see his attendance records. This scam will all start to unravel.

    All roads lead to Obama.

    Prominent military contractors pitched Donald Trump and the White House on a plan to help deliver his promise of mass deportations.

    According to Politico, which obtained a copy of the proposal, former Blackwater CEO Erik Prince and former COO Bill Mathews pitched Trump on a proposal that would involve private citizens helping to carry out mass deportations of those residing in the country illegally.

    The report stated:

    A group of prominent military contractors, including former Blackwater CEO Erik Prince, has pitched the Trump White House on a proposal to carry out mass deportations through a network of “processing camps” on military bases, a private fleet of 100 planes, and a “small army” of private citizens empowered to make arrests.

    The blueprint — laid out in a 26-page document President Donald Trump’s advisers received before the inauguration — carries an estimated price tag of $25 billion and recommends a range of aggressive tactics to rapidly deport 12 million people before the 2026 midterms, including some that would likely face legal and operational challenges, according to a copy obtained by POLITICO.

    The emergence of the proposal, marked “unsolicited,” is indicative of the major hurdles the administration faces as it struggles to find the resources to fulfill Trump’s ambitious deportation agenda.

    The administration’s desire to make good on that signature campaign promise has created an opening for private contractors who see a rare area in which the Trump administration is likely to increase spending.

    The document argues that deporting the illegal immigrant population “would require the government to eject nearly 500,000 illegal aliens per month.”

    “To keep pace with the Trump deportations, it would require a 600% increase in activity. It is unlikely that the government could swell its internal ranks to keep pace with this demand,” it continues.

    “In order to process this enormous number of deportations, the government should enlist outside assistance.”

    When asked about the plan, White House spokesman Kush Desai said the administration “remains aligned on and committed to a whole-of-government approach to securing our borders, mass deporting criminal illegal migrants, and enforcing our immigration laws.”

    “While White House officials receive numerous unsolicited proposals from various private sector players, it is ultimately up to the agencies responsible for carrying out the President’s agenda to consider and sign contracts to advance their mission,” he said.

    The proposal underscores the logistical challenges facing the Trump administration in their deportation efforts and growing frustration at their current numbers.

    Last week, acting ICE Director Caleb Vitello was removed from his position amid reports Trump was unhappy with the current pace of deportations, which are lower than Joe Biden’s final year in power.

    VIENNA—Iran has sharply increased its stockpile of highly enriched uranium in recent weeks, according to a confidential United Nations report, as Tehran amasses a critical raw material for atomic weapons.
    The increase in Iran’s holdings of uranium enriched to 60%, or nearly weapons grade, would be enough to produce six nuclear weapons.
    Iran is now producing enough fissile material in a month for one nuclear weapon, according to the report, which was reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.
    Tehran’s strides come as the country has indicated an openness to negotiating with the U.S. on limits to its nuclear ambitions. The Trump administration has said it would return to a policy of “maximum pressure” on Iran but that President Trump also wants to negotiate a nuclear deal.
    The U.N. report said Tehran had amassed around 275 kilograms of 60% highly enriched uranium as of Feb. 8, up from 182 kilograms in late October. That is a 50% jump in 15 weeks. The fuel could be converted to 90% weapons-grade material in days.

    Elon Musk’s DOGE uncovered another huge scandal involving a former ICE employee-turned Biden official.

    According to DOGE, the HHS has been paying an empty migrant facility in Pecos, Texas, $18 million a month since March 2024.

    The shady deal was brokered by a former ICE employee-turned Biden transition team member.

    DOGE said the sketchy contract was terminated, saving taxpayers more than $251 million per year.

    Per DOGE:

    A former ICE employee and Biden transition team member joined Family Endeavors in early 2021 and helped secure a sole-source HHS contract for overflow housing from licensed care facilities.

    As a result, Family Endeavors’ cash and portfolio of investments grew from $8.3M in 2020 to $520.4M in 2023.

    Since March 2024, HHS has paid ~$18M/month to keep the Pecos facility open despite sitting empty.

    With national licensed facility occupancy now below 20%, HHS was able to terminate this contract, saving taxpayers over $215M annually.

    According to AFL, the DHS and ICE also awarded Family Endeavors a contract of $87 million.

    Family Endeavors had no government contracts before it hired Biden-connected Lorenzen-Strait.

    It was previously reported that the Pecos facility had closed down due to poor living conditions.

    This migrant facility housed teenagers and unaccompanied children.

    At the end of 2023, CBS reported that the Biden administration “reopened a housing facility for unaccompanied migrant children previously at the center of reports of poor living conditions in response to a marked increase in crossings along the southern border.”

    “The U.S. Department of Health of Human Services facility, a former camp for oil workers in Pecos, Texas, officially stopped housing migrant children in federal custody this spring. But HHS reopened the site, which it calls an “influx care facility,” after bed capacity at its traditional shelters dwindled, the U.S. officials said, requesting anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the press,” CBS reported in September 2023.

    Police in Wilmington, North Carolina say a woman won’t face any criminal charges after fatally shooting a man earlier this month after determining that the deceased was the initial aggressor.

    Authorities say 36-year-old James Timothy Scott approached the woman and two companions a couple of weeks ago in the woods near a Wilmington neighborhood. Scott was allegedly armed with a knife, and the woman told police that he threatened to kill her, which is when she drew her gun.

    Just before 11 a.m. on Feb. 13, officers responded to a reported shooting in the woods near the 600 block of Barclay Hills Drive, according to a prior news release. Upon arrival, life saving measures were performed on one man who had been shot.

    Despite revival efforts, the patient died as a result of his injures, according to the prior release. Three suspects were initially detained in connection with the shooting.

    Audio from a 911 call placed that day provide more insight into what led to the shooting.

    “We were sitting at our camp eating breakfast and this person that’s been coming up and causing problems came up and started demanding money and got up and grabbed, or tried to grab, the female that was at the camp and she pulled out a gun and shot him,” the caller said. “This isn’t the first time that he been up here causing problems.”

    The 911 caller told dispatchers that the armed citizen was still at the scene, and was distraught over having to defend herself with lethal force. While it’s up to the local prosecutor to officially decide if charges are warranted, the Wilmington PD has already come out and said that the investigation showed the woman acted in self-defense, so it would be downright shocking if the D.A. decided to pursue a criminal case against the woman.

    This isn’t the only incident where a woman exercising her Second Amendment rights was able to defend herself from an attacker that’s made headlines this week. In Alachua County, Florida, the local sheriff’s office has determined that a shooting at a home last Sunday afternoon was also a justified use of force.

    ASO Captain Chris Sims told Alachua Chronicle that the shooter, an adult female, lived in the home where the incident took place and was transported to ASO Headquarters for an interview. After interviewing the suspect and several witnesses, both from within the home and from neighboring homes, detectives concluded that the shooting was an act of self-defense. Crime Scene Investigators also collected several items of evidence that provided a more clear picture of the events that preceded the shooting.

    Detectives also consulted with the State Attorney’s office, which agreed with their preliminary conclusion, before releasing the woman. Detectives are still investigating the incident and will provide a final report to the State Attorney’s office for review.

    The sheriff’s office hasn’t released any details about the circumstances of the shooting, other than to report that the armed citizen was a resident of the home where the shooting took place. Who was shot and why remains unknown, though we’ll hopefully learn more details in the days ahead.

    Whether in the woods, at home, or out in public, we have the right to protect ourselves with deadly force if necessary, and I’m grateful that these women were exercising their Second Amendment rights when their lives were threatened. It’s a shame that they were forced to defend themselves with a firearm, but if they didn’t have a gun the outcome in both of these incidents could have been far worse.
