Reader’s Links for Nov. 11, 2024

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

For those interested, please check out https://vladtepesblog.substack.com/ as an another avenue of expression. The Substack is a different project in a sense. It is older videos that in the light of subsequent events, look different or of increased importance, Check it out now and again if you like.

  1. Trump’s election brings hope. Perhaps so much hope that it borders on expecting miracles to happen. After all, he has learned much since his last go, and he has the genius Musk by his side. Why not miracles?

Economically speaking, how do things get rectified when the business cycle has been abolished for over twenty years? This was accomplished by printing ever-more money. This has caused dangerous over valuations in all assets. Some analysts believe true values in housing and the stock market to be half, or less, of what they are now. I’m not saying miracles don’t happen–who am I to say–but math is math. Raising the price of money crashes the world economy while lowering it evades the required reckoning. It’s called the debt spiral. This is the trap the Western world is in. I cannot speak with confidence on the East, so won’t.

With confidence in the U.S. dollar such a critical feature of the economy, why did Trump reverse his stance on crypto currencies? Just three years ago he called them a scam, and also didn’t like anything competing with the USD. Now he has not only called for the U.S. to be the world’s crypto powerhouse, but his own family has launched its own digital token called World Liberty Financial, which promptly crashed upon its Mid-October release. Hardly the stuff of confidence building.

Maybe he wants to create a phoney money bubble that can pay off the $37-trillion U.S. debt anchor hanging around its neck. I wish I knew. But one thing I know for sure is that the long end of the U.S. treasuries market does not like what it sees, and wants a greater return to compensate it for the perils it detects.

Pseudo-reality ends where reality begins. It’s just a matter of time. The question then becomes what is real, and what is not?

Asking such fundamental questions means there are problems fundamental to our current situation. When few things that we see make sense we must wrestle with such very hard questions. It is back to basics time.

Today’s domestic enemies have a shorter attention span. Who’s the next target on the CCP agenda?

  3. Bouncing around waiting for my Chilli to cook. I find this. Doré is not great–born again conservative or something. But it’s fun for its sarcasm etc.

One thing on another vid that came up is what about the illegals that will pour across the Canadian border once PT starts rounding them up? We’re talking hundreds of thousands? Millions? You’ve got 10-20 MILLION people who will run for cover. How many to Canada? Crazy, but very possible.

  4. D9 Bulldozer Shipment to Israel Stalled by U.S.

A shipment of 134 D9 bulldozers, which Israel ordered and paid for, has been awaiting export approval from the U.S. State Department for several months, according to two security sources.

The bulldozers often lead combat teams, clearing areas from explosive charges intended to detonate against Israeli infantry and armored troops, helping to save soldiers’ lives.

Forces on the northern front are required to clear thousands of acres of dense thickets, which Hizbullah uses to conceal bunkers and weapons depots close to Israeli towns.

Additional delays involve a frozen shipment of heavy munitions and Israel’s urgent request for additional Apache attack helicopters…
