As Hurricane Helene tears through the eastern seaboard, leaving devastation in its wake, the mismanagement of FEMA under the Biden-Harris regime is hitting home with deadly consequences.
The storm’s ferocious winds and torrential rains have claimed at least 190 lives, left millions without power, and trapped countless families in floodwaters across North Carolina and beyond. Entire communities have been cut off from vital resources, with citizens scrambling for help.
Yet, in the face of this national disaster, the Biden-Harris administration’s FEMA appears woefully unprepared.
Why? Because over the past two years, they have funneled more than $1 billion in taxpayer dollars away from American disaster relief efforts — and into the pockets of illegal immigrants.
For the second consecutive year, FEMA has implemented Immediate Needs Funding, putting long-term recovery projects on hold due to a severe shortage in the Disaster Relief Funds (DRF), according to a report from NRDC last month.
With over 614 major disaster declarations still open, some dating back nearly two decades, the agency’s decision to prioritize illegal immigration over American disaster victims has sparked outrage across the country.
FEMA estimates it will fall $7 billion short of the funds needed to manage new disasters, thanks to reckless financial decisions. Instead of rebuilding communities, repairing public infrastructure, or mitigating future disasters, FEMA is sinking taxpayer dollars into programs for illegal immigrants while disaster-stricken Americans wait for help that may never come.
FEMA is blaming the Congress for not appropriating new funding to the agency.

The investigation of the tragic murder of 12 year-old Jocelyn Nungaray has taken new horrible turn, as Texas authorities are now investigating a suspected link between the two illegal immigrants charged with raping and killing her to the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.
Jocelyn was murdered in Houston, on June 16, when she snuck out of her home at night, and her body was subsequently found floating in a nearby swamp.
Two Venezuelan illegal suspects – Johan Jose Martinez Rangel and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, have been charged with her brutal killing.
They allegedly kept Jocelyn hostage under a bridge for two hours and raped her, then proceeded to strangle the 12-year-old.

“Police have revealed the pair, who were in the U.S. illegally from Venezuela, allegedly lured Jocelyn under a bridge, where they held her for more than two hours, possibly gang-raping her after they tied her up.
And in new search warrants, investigators revealed Rangel and Ramos displayed signs and monikers on their social media that are linked to the Tren de Aragua gang.”
The Tren de Aragua gang has become infamous of late in the context of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ unchecked mass migration letting thousands of criminals into the US.

Footage has emerged of heavily armed gangsters taking over an apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado, sparking outrage around the country.
“Following the arrest of Rangel and Ramos, investigators wrote in the most recent warrants that Tren de Aragua ‘will use certain slang and emojis in their communications with one another to identify themselves.’
The warrants led a judge to grant a request from the Houston Police Department to obtain social media records that could verify the suspect’s gang affiliations, which could bolster the case against them, reports Newsweek.”
The signs that police says are related to the gang include hand signs, wearing Chicago Bulls or Michael Jordan merchandise, and small shoulder tattoos such as clocks, trains, roses and two stars.
“On social media, members use emojis including a ninja, crossed swords and a classical building to signal to others that they are part of the gang. On TikTok, Ramos reportedly shared photos of his tattoos to followers, including a rose on his hand and two stars on each shoulder.”
When Rangel and Ramos were arrested, back in June, outrage emerged as it was revealed that they had entered the US illegally along with millions of other unvetted migrants flooding over the southern border.
Rangel and Ramos had both been arrested by U.S. Border Patrol prior to Jocelyn murder, but were released.
It is not clear exactly when the pair entered the country.

Johan Jose Martinez Rangel, 22, is one of two men accused of Nungaray’s murder in Houston, Texas last month.
Yet it has now been revealed that he is the son of a former official for Venezuela’s socialist regime, making his illegal entry into the United States all the more egregious.

Following Martinez Rangel’s arrest, Venezuelans from his home state of Guarico began flagging on social media that his mother Nazareth Rangel Palacios is a staunch supporter of Nicolas Maduro and served as a councilwoman for his party.
Venezuela’s electoral registry shows Martinez Rangel and Rangel Palacios share the same address in San Juan de Los Morros.
Rangel Palacios was a vocal militant for the ruling party, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, and was photographed with her son in pro-government events until he left the country in about 2018.
Rangel Martinez and Franklin Pena, 26, are accused of luring Nungaray to an area underneath a bridge before raping and murdering her. They later dumped her body in a creek.

The US Department of Homeland Security, under the direction of Director Alejandro Mayorkas did not assess the risks associated with releasing millions of noncitizens without identification into the United States and allowing them to travel on domestic flights.
Since Joe Biden opened the US southern border on his first day in office, more than 10 million illegal aliens have entered into the United States. Another 1.2 million inadmissable aliens were flown into the country at ports of entry through the Biden-Harris CBP One policy.
Last week ICE released a shocking report on the illegal alien killers and sex abusers released into the US. According to the report from the Deputy Director of ICE Patrick Lechleitner sent to Congressman Tony Gonzalez, over 662,000 illegal immigrants with criminal histories are currently on ICE’s national docket. Of that staggering number, over 13,000 illegal immigrants have been convicted of homicide, and more than 15,000 have been convicted of sexual assault.

Key finding: “Under current processes, CBP and ICE cannot ensure they are keeping high-risk noncitizens without identification from entering the country. Additionally, TSA cannot ensure its vetting and screening procedures prevent high-risk noncitizens who may pose a threat to the flying public from boarding domestic flights.”

The IG says that according to federal law, “noncitizens without ID are not admissible into the country and “shall be detained,” but that CBP and ICE are permitted to release noncitizens into the U.S. based on various circumstances.
The report says CBP and ICE accept “self reported biographical information, which they use to give migrants immigration forms, who are then able to get on domestic flights, even if they don’t have ID.
The IG says he asked DHS for data on the number of noncitizens who did not have ID and were released into the U.S. between fiscal years 2021-2023, but CBP and ICE were unable to provide the data because they don’t log whether a noncitizen had ID in their databases. The OIG adds that “immigration officers we interviewed acknowledged the risks of allowing noncitizens without ID into the country.”

The IRGC intelligence organization has warned Iranians against supporting Israel on social media.
In a statement, the organization said, “Any activity supporting the Zionist regime is a crime, and criminals will be dealt with decisively.”
The statement also urged citizens to report any social media activities supporting the Israeli government to the public reporting section of the Gerdab website, providing information and details about the pages and their operators.
Israel’s prime minister has vowed to retaliate after Tehran fired a wave of at least 180 missiles, including dozens of ballistic missiles, at Israeli cities in the center and south of the country.
Speaking at the opening of a cabinet meeting on Tuesday night, Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran “does not understand” his country’s “determination to retaliate” against its enemies.

What Netanyahu won’t stop doing: Inside the OODA Loop on the new Israeli situation
Don’t quit when you’re ahead.
This will be just a few comments, predicated on the basic facts about the situation. It won’t be an in-depth treatment. It is imperative to focus at the macro level and understand where this problem-set is now.
It’s not in a new static condition. It’s very much fluid. Israel has major laurels to rest on, but no leisure to do it.
In the coming days, the biggest threat to Israeli security is the continued urging of Western nations and the UN to get an outside consortium of purportedly well-intentioned nations into the big middle of the geopolitical sets known as “Gaza,” “Lebanon,” and the “West Bank.”
Others have made a point – which I agree with – that slashing the infrastructure and power of Hezbollah and Hamas leaves Iran without a lurking proxy veto on the level of Israeli audacity in countering Iran.
The more Israel whittles down the power of the terrorist organizations, the less of a potential veto Iran has. The cross-border risk to Israel is declining significantly. Israel’s latitude to react effectively to Iran is expanding.
That is a dynamic condition, however, and what can be done to reconstitute earlier, more threatening conditions – i.e., bring bigger threats back to Israel’s perimeter – will depend on how far down the power of the terror groups is taken, and what happens afterward in the territory where they’ve held sway.
It continues to matter where the terror groups have established themselves, and what happens there next. Israel’s influence in Lebanon, in particular, will be largely indirect and more limited than in Gaza and the West Bank (Judea and Samaria).
That said, foreign governments, including America’s, will be doing their best to insert themselves in post-combat arrangements for the latter: Gaza and the Wet Bank.
One way we know that is that the Biden administration’s disastrous but tenacious temporary-pier caper was a prolonged effort to establish an American foothold in Gaza, one that would justify intervention by a U.S.-backed consortium in the province’s post-combat arrangements. Biden approved an additional 1,000 troops to assist in search and recovery efforts in North Carolina several days after Helene made landfall.
“President Biden and Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III have authorized the movement of up to 1,000 active-duty military personnel to support the delivery of food, water and other critical aid to communities impacted by Hurricane Helene,” Roy Cooper’s office said.
“The active-duty soldiers are part of an Infantry Battalion Task Force, formed from the XVII Airborne Corps to include members of the 82nd Airborne and other units stationed at Fort Liberty, NC. The task force includes a Forward Support Company with the necessary support structures (fuel, water, mechanics, etc.) to support stabilizing critical lifelines and essential services for communities in North Carolina. Soldiers are assembling and moving to the affected areas within the next 24 hours,” the governor’s office said.
According to The Federalist’s Sean Davis, Roy Cooper still has not written up the mission orders that the troops need in order to be deployed.

If you are wondering why citizens are being turned away that are coming to help NC and TN – you’ll want to hear my experience as someone who has been doing this as a private citizen for almost a decade.
I was able to get into, and out of Asheville. We brought food, water, fuel and other supplies as well as helped people affected by the floods, but there are reasons why they are not allowing outside help.
I cannot confirm the reasons why in NC, but i can tell you the reasons in other storms i have worked – i’ll explain below.
Let me share with you the first disaster area that i finally realized that this was all about money.
In the FL Keys with Hurricane Irma, after Texas got hit with Harvey, we finished our efforts in Texas and were the first citizen team to make it to Key Largo.
The federal agencies had US1 shut down just South of Key Largo and wouldn’t let anyone in or out, even though the road was okay to pass.
We explained to them that we had boats, Jet skis, food, water, chainsaws and fuel to bring these people.
They didn’t care and wouldn’t let us in.
It was night by that point and you rarely saw the lights of vehicles in the distance on the individual keys, meaning the emergency response teams from FEMA weren’t even working, it was all quiet.
We decided that we would go in anyways.
We filled up the boats and jet skis with all that we could reasonably carry and went by water, around all their BS blockades and around their law enforcement presence on the water.
It was 87 miles by water to get to our first stop, Cudjoe Key and Sugarloaf Key.
When we arrived there we were greeted by a homeowner (for privacy, I won’t name him, though we have video) who was elated to see us and all the supplies we brought, his house was in shambles.
We started offloading supplies on the shoreline and helping to get them into what was left of his house.
During that process, he explained to us that FEMA had set up a command center at a local high school on the island, but that they weren’t doing anything to help the residents, not even bringing them WATER!
Instead, he explained that they were driving around using a loudspeaker, telling people to stay in their homes. They weren’t even helping the home owners with supplies.
I was skeptical at first while he was telling me all of this, but then he said something that broke my heart….
He told us that the people of the keys were all in despair, because they had just seen, weeks before, the overwhelming support for Texas with Hurricane Harvey, by the citizens of this country. He, and his neighbors on all of the keys, felt like Americans had forgotten about them completely, because at this point, FIVE DAYS after landfall, all they had seen was FEMA, and they were of NO HELP.
The residents were cut off from the outside world, no cellular, no internet, no way to contact anyone or hear of any efforts to try to help them.
The ONLY communication they had was from a local radio station on Sugarloaf Key, that was broadcasting on AM to the surrounding keys.
The man, after hearing that there were citizens trying to bring them help, but being refused entry by federal law enforcement was visibly upset. He, and his neighbors, really thought the country had abandoned them.
He insisted that we get into his waterlogged truck and that he would take us to that radio station so that we could go live on air, to tell the citizens trapped in the Keys that we, the American people, were there to help and that the government was trying to stop our efforts.
And that is exactly what we did.
After that, we were determined to help as many people as we could, but we were met with red tape throughout the whole process and time we were in the keys.
We finally we able to talk some authorities to let us down to the Faro Blanco Resort in Marathon towards the end of Boot Key. This was the same hotel where state and local authorities were staging their personnel and they were happy to see us.
I was able to coordinate several trucks full of supplies to be brought down to the EOC in Marathon. I was privy to the EOC meeting, BUT was informed in that meeting, that all of the semi trucks full of food, water and hygiene supplies were to be turned around and not allowed to be offloaded for distribution by the EOC.
THE REASON they gave us, was that these donations were not from companies on their “preferred vendors list” and that they would not accept them or give them to the residents of the keys impacted by the storm.
It was at that point that I realized, this is ALL ABOUT MONEY.
These ‘preferred vendors” are getting part of the money being released by the state and federal govt for each disaster. In turn, some of the “vendors” make it on the list because a friend gets them on the list, and in return for getting ridiculously outlandish amounts of compensation for the services they render, they give kickbacks.
So accepting outside donations, even though they are on location and can help people NOW, they would rather let people suffer so they can get their kickbacks.
This meeting solidified my resolve to help these people, regardless of what the greedy officials wanted, we were going to feed the lower keys that were being neglected.
I diverted ALL SEMI TRUCKS to the Faro Blanco Resort in Marathon and filled the entire first floor with pallets upon pallets of food, water and essential supplies and created a food pantry for residents to come and get anything, and however much they needed.
From local state troopers to the homeless, all were given wheel barrels and free reign to get anything they needed.
We also delivered supplies down to Big Pine Key. We helped establish the tent city on Big Pine Key. Big companies like Titos Vodka and Whelen just kept bringing trucks full of everything that was needed. When FEMA FINALLY started handing out boxes of canned goods (limited to one per household), we were filing cars full of food and supplies for people and pets.
There is so much more to the story in the Keys and further from there in other storms we worked- the common theme though, is that the federal government always tries to keep citizens from helping and the local authorities, the ones that live and work in the area are always happy to have outside help.
I call out to Elon Musk and anyone else who can monetarily help people like myself and those that work with me, who have the knowledge and the will to help those devastated by these disasters.
Help us side step the red tape and get the people the relief they need.
We are willing, and we are many, and we are ready.

The shocking report from The Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) shows that while the Biden-Harris administration has been attacking the lawful commerce of firearms – including hobbling U.S. firearm and ammunition exports to overseas markets – it has been wholesale importing criminals into the United States.
The report, released to U.S. Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-Texas), showed that there were 662, 566 noncitizens in the United States with a criminal history. That includes 13,099 with murder convictions, 62,231 with assault convictions, 14,301 with burglary convictions, 56,533 with drug convictions, 15,811 with sexual assault convictions and 2,521 with kidnapping convictions.
Vice President Kamala Harris, who was named as the Biden-Harris administration’s border and gun control czar, has also overseen the broken “open border” policy that has resulted in 17,416 noncitizens with weapons charges, although the nature of which weapon those illegal immigrants had in their possession is not specified. Of those, 16,820 were not detained, 14,000 who were convicted.
That means those criminals who are not detained are still on America’s streets, even though they may be facing final orders of removal or are going though through removal proceedings. Fox News reported that there are over 7 million people on the “not detained” docket.
Gaslighting ‘Czar’
Those figures are alarming. This same administration that has wielded nearly every government lever to block or diminish the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens to legally purchase a firearm for self-defense has also been importing tens of thousands of violent criminals at the same time. The Biden-Harris administration isn’t making America safer through their gun control efforts. They are making Americans victims and doubling down by allowing violent criminals open access to America’s neighborhoods.
“It may be shocking to hear that the Biden-Harris administration is actively releasing tens of thousands of criminal illegal aliens into our communities, but their own numbers conclusively prove this to be the case. This defies all common sense,” said U.S. Rep. Mark Green (R-Tenn.), Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Homeland Security Committee, to Fox News. Rep. Green has also been outspoken about the Biden-Harris administration’s attacks on Second Amendment rights and the firearm and ammunition industry.
The report comes as Vice President Harris is attempting to gaslight her own track record on both Second Amendment rights and border security. Vice President Harris professed to owning a firearm and told Oprah Winfrey in a television special, “If somebody breaks in my house they’re getting shot,” neglecting to mention she resides at One Observatory Circle on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., that is guarded around the clock by uniformed officers of the U.S. Secret Service. She’s attempted to convince voters she’s a Second Amendment supporter but her own political history belies that claim. Vice President Harris has yet to identify which firearm she says she owns, how it is stored or if it is registered with Washington, D.C., Metro Police, as required by law in the District of Columbia, where she resides as vice president. Or is the firearm – reportedly a pistol according to CNN – registered and kept at her home in Los Angeles?
The Reload reported that Vice President Harris backed plan to forcibly confiscate handguns from law-abiding citizens in San Francisco when she served as the city’s district attorney in 2005. When she ran for The White House in 2019, Vice President Harris backed forcible confiscation of Modern Sporting Rifles (MSRs), the most-popular selling centerfire rifle in America.
The ICE report to Rep. Gonzalez came at the same time Vice President Harris visited the U.S. Southern border to see the problem criminals freely crossing. It was the first time she visited the border in three years, despite being President Biden’s border czar.

The numbers presented by ICE make it clear. Vice President Harris is willing to give criminals roaming America’s streets a pass while she prosecutes a radical antigun agenda against Americans who follow the law. The National Review’s editors called her “an Enemy of the Second Amendment.” They pointed out that three times she backed efforts to ban or confiscate firearms – first in San Francisco, later when she signed an amicus brief opposing the 2008 Heller case before the U.S. Supreme Court and again later when she backed confiscating MSRs.
“Harris has spent a career opposing the Second Amendment because she has spent a career trying to ‘take everyone’s guns away.’ The last-minute Annie Oakley act does not alter that one whit,” the editors at The National Review wrote.
This is the true Vice President Harris. She’s a politician attempting to obfuscate her previous policy positions and running from her record. Both tell who she really is. Vice President Harris would make a victim of law-abiding Americans at the hands of transnational criminals who would be left defenseless because of her radical antigun agenda.

Latest ‘Ghost Gun’ Claims Have Tons of Problems

Ages ago, I owned an AK-47 clone. I built it from a kit I purchased along with a less than 80 percent receiver I bought, then took it to a build party with some friends and got a great gun out of the deal as well as a fun day.

This was long before so-called ghost guns were the scourge of the world. No one had even heard the term and a few years later, when we did, we laughed at it and for good reason.
Now, though, the term is everywhere. What’s more, rules got put in place–without Congress, it should be noted–to supposedly stem the tide.
And it seems that we’re getting some mixed signals on the efficacy of those restrictions.
First, we have those claiming that the rules are working out great.
A Biden administration rule passed the following year now blocks teenagers and people who can’t pass a background check from buying the kits. But manufacturers and gun-rights groups pushed back in court, and on Tuesday the Supreme Court will hear arguments on whether the regulation will stand.
“The court’s conservative majority may come in somewhat skeptical of ATF’s reach here, both as a federal agency and as a matter of gun rights,” said Timothy Lytton, a professor at Georgia State University College of Law, referring to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The number of ghost guns around the country has soared in recent years, going from fewer than 4,000 in 2018 to nearly 20,000 recovered at crime scenes in 2021, according to Justice Department data. Since the regulation went into effect, several cities report the number of privately made firearms recovered at crime scenes has flattened or declined.

“We’ve seen them drop pretty significantly off the radar, I think, because of that regulation,” said Adam Garber, executive director of the gun violence prevention group CeaseFirePA, based in Philadelphia, where a mass shooting carried out with an AR-15-style ghost gun left five people dead.
In Baltimore, a city long plagued by gun violence, ghost gun recoveries have dropped last year for the first time since 2019, according to court documents.

I don’t see why the numbers would drop. Yes, the Biden administration issued an executive order, but all that really happened was instead of buying everything in a single, easy-to-order kit that met all your needs, you had to click “add to cart” more than once.
That’s literally it. That’s all that changed.
But if the numbers look to be going down, they look to be going down. Granted, crime is down across the board, so that might have a lot to do with that.
However, California Attorney General Rob Bonta didn’t get the whole message.

“We have made significant progress here in California,” Bonta said at a news conference Wednesday. “We’ve been able to really move the needle when it comes to our ghost guns.”
So he’s acknowledging the numbers are down, but he’s saying it’s still a crisis.
I’m amused and amazed at how two completely different stories are hitting the same talking points.
First, was it ever that bad in the first place? No, it wasn’t. I took a look at the numbers earlier this week. Based on the total number of “ghost guns” recovered at crime scenes, you’re looking at about two percent of the guns used in crime–and it might be lower since “crime scenes” were the metric and that doesn’t mean violent crime. Just arresting someone for carrying a gun illegally is still a crime scene.

And while those numbers might be down, there are still no rules prohibiting people from buying so-called ghost gun parts, including incomplete receivers. Those aren’t categorized as guns, so they’re not subject to regulation and never will be. There always has to be a line and someone will be happy to walk right up to it but not cross it. That’s what these incomplete receivers are.
You can still get those and every other part needed to turn it into a functional firearm is available as aftermarket parts for more traditionally manufactured guns. There’s nothing at all stopping criminals from making so-called ghost guns.
So why are the numbers down?
Well, as noted already, there are numerous reports saying crime is down.
Further, we have a lot of talk about the numbers being down, but there’s a profound lack of actual numbers at the federal level. We know how many were recovered in 2022, but not the total number of guns, so we lack context there. Now, though, we’re not seeing any actual numbers at all for most locations.
In California, we’re seeing some, but again, there’s no context at all. Are gun recoveries down overall? Are the percentages of “ghost guns” down relative to other guns?
As per usual, the anti-gun advocates make pronouncements that the media takes as gospel, and reports as if they’re fact, but then fail to even bother to look for data to prove or disprove the claim.

A 21-year-old woman kidnapped by Islamic State militants in Iraq a decade ago was freed from Gaza this week in a secret operation months in the making that involved Israel, the United States and Iraq, officials said.
The woman is a member of the ancient Yazidi religious minority mostly found in Iraq and Syria which saw more than 5,000 members killed and thousands more kidnapped in an IS campaign in 2014 that the U.N. has said constituted genocide.
She was freed after more than four months of efforts that involved several attempts that failed due to the difficult security situation resulting from Israel’s military offensive in Gaza, Silwan Sinjaree, chief of staff of Iraq’s foreign minister, told Reuters.
She has been identified as Fawzia Sido. Reuters could not reach the woman directly for comment, with Iraqi officials saying she was resting after having been reunited with her family in northern Iraq.
Iraqi officials had been in contact with the woman for months and passed on her information to U.S. officials, who arranged for her exit from Gaza with the help of Israel, according to a source familiar with the matter.
Iraq and Israel do not have any diplomatic ties.
The Israeli military said it had coordinated with the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem and “other international actors” in the operation to free Sido.
It said in a statement her captor had been killed during the Gaza war, presumably by an Israeli strike, and she then fled to a hideout inside the Gaza Strip.
“In a complex operation coordinated between Israel, the United States, and other international actors, she was recently rescued in a secret mission from the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom Crossing,” it said.
After entering Israel, she continued on to Jordan through the Allenby Bridge Crossing and from there returned to her family in Iraq, the military said.
A State Department spokesperson said the United States on Tuesday “helped to safely evacuate from Gaza a young Yezidi woman to be reunited with her family in Iraq”.
The spokesperson said she was kidnapped from her home in Iraq at age 11 and was sold and trafficked to Gaza. Her captor was recently killed, allowing her to escape and seek repatriation, the spokesperson said.
A U.S. defense official said the American military did not have a role in the evacuation.
