This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

  4. Can lurkers to this site explain how Iran and its proxy army Hezbollah are not responsible for Israel’s reaction to its October 7th attack as that sad anniversary approaches?

    Can you justify enmeshing an army among the civilian population, and go on to describe the inhumane mentality of those who design such a society? Can you simultaneously explain precisely how valuable these human-shield lives are to Hezbollah and Iran as they install weapons into civilian homes and hospitals? Can you explain why world opinion, including that of the United Nations, does not hold these actors accountable for every collateral life lost?

    Can you explain how an army seeded throughout a whole country or region grows in such soil without some modicum of complicity of the people? And if such complicity does not exist, can you speak to the fear that must grip that population, and from where, exactly, that fear is generated?

    After viewing videos of Israeli bombing operations of Beirut neighborhoods, can you comment on the very tight groupings of the explosions? And on the consistent pre-bombing notifications to civilians to evacuate? Also comment on the unprecedented accuracy of the pager bombs and how this was possibly an act of humanitarianism in a time of crisis. Ask, if you can, the uninjured innocent standing right beside the bomb recipient at the fruit stand if he is now just a little grateful for Israel’s technology, and Mossad’s attention to detail.

    After all this, can you look at a map of the Middle East and explain why media depicts the aggressors as underdogs, the real underdog as over aggressive, and the 440-million Muslims living around 10-million Israelis (plus the Muslims living inside Israel) as somehow not worth mentioning vis-a-vis Israel’s response?

    President Donald Trump announced that his Wisconsin rally had to be downsized because federal resources were diverted to protect the Iranian president, Masoud Pezeshkian, who has been linked to threats against Trump.

    The rally, originally expected to draw tens of thousands, was relocated to a smaller venue, leaving many supporters turned away.

    “We have a nice little room that probably holds 1,500, 2,000, maybe less. But there are thousands of people outside—40,000, 50,000—because this administration couldn’t give us the Secret Service necessary,” Trump told the packed crowd at the Prairie du Chien Area Arts Center.

    Hundreds of Trump supporters lined up as early as 8 a.m., hours before the doors opened, braving the Wisconsin cold to catch a glimpse of the former president. However, the venue, forced to accommodate fewer attendees than anticipated, became a flashpoint of frustration among those who couldn’t get inside.

    Trump’s claims that security resources were being diverted to protect the Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian, who was attending his first UN General Assembly in New York.

    Pezeshkian has been a vocal critic of the U.S. and Israel, going as far as accusing Israel of genocide and war crimes in Gaza.

    “I aim to lay a strong foundation for my country’s entry into a new era, positioning it to play an effective and constructive role in the evolving global order,” Pezeshkian told the UNGA, per Al Jazeera.

    “We seek peace for all and have no intention of conflict with any country … Iran opposes war and emphasises the need for an immediate cessation of military conflict in Ukraine,” Pezeshkian said.

    “We are ready to engage with participants of the 2015 nuclear deal. If the deal’s commitments are implemented fully and in good faith, dialogue on other issues can follow,” he said.

    U.S. intelligence officials confirmed earlier this week that Trump’s campaign had been briefed on Iranian threats against him.

    The briefing, which was acknowledged in a statement sent to The Associated Press, involved potential plots against the former president. However, the intelligence agency declined to disclose whether the threats pertain to a new assassination plot or are linked to previously reported threats from Tehran.

    It can be recalled that CNN reported that the Trump campaign was made aware of an Iranian assassination plot against Trump before the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. According to the report, the Secret Service ramped up security after receiving intel about the assassination plot.

    The would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, had no connection to the Iranian assassination plot, according to CNN.

    “Secret Service learned of the increased threat from this threat stream,” the official told CNN. “NSC directly contacted USSS at a senior level to be absolutely sure they continued to track the latest reporting. USSS shared this information with the detail lead, and the Trump campaign was made aware of an evolving threat. In response to the increased threat, Secret Service surged resources and assets for the protection of former President Trump. All of this was in advance of Saturday.”

    Recent illegal immigrant arrests on the islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts have captured the nation’s attention.

    Over the last month, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has made at least six arrests on the islands as part of a larger operation to detain illegal immigrant suspects accused of particularly egregious crimes in the beach towns favored by the Biden and Obama families.

    “I think many people are concerned about the violent illegal population. … The biggest thing is obviously not knowing anybody’s history if they’re here illegally. The legal immigrants will even discuss that,” Toby Brown, chair of the Nantucket GOP, told Fox News Digital.

    Brown, who noted that most immigrants on the idyllic island off the coast of Cape Cod are good and active community members, including those residing there illegally. But residents are still concerned about those who may be running from violent pasts in their home countries.

    Iran vowed revenge Sunday over Israel’s killing of a top Revolutionary Guard official in Friday’s major Beirut strike that also resulted in the assassination of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah.

    Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a statement that the death of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Deputy Commander Abbas Nilforoushan “will not go unanswered.”

    “This horrible crime of the aggressor Zionist regime will not go unanswered,” the top diplomat said, according to a foreign ministry statement.

    “The diplomatic apparatus will also use all its political, diplomatic, legal and international capacities to pursue the criminals and their supporters,” he added.

    Nilforoushan, a top commander of the Quds Force, the IRGC’s foreign operations arm, was killed in Friday’s Israeli airstrike in Beirut.

  13. There’s No Right to Be Safe, But There Is a Right to Protect Yourself

    During her joint appearance with Joe Biden to promote the administration’s latest executive actions on “gun violence”, Kamala Harris declared that the “right to be safe” is a civil right, adding that we have the right to “live, work, worship and learn without fear of violence — including gun violence.”

    So where exactly is that right found in the Constitution or in common law, and just how far does that supposed right to safety extend? Is it only a right to be safe from “gun violence”? What about knife crime, or violence inflicted with fists or feet? Does Harris’s right to safety include the right to be safe from drunk drivers? Do we have a right to be safe from environmental hazards or natural disasters?

    Is this a right reserved only for Americans, or for every human being across the globe? What are our obligations to ensure that this right is realized, and what happens when the policy goals aimed at guaranteeing the “right to safety” conflict with the enumerated rights found in our Constitution?

    These aren’t hypothetical questions. If Harris is going to invent a civil right out of thin air, shouldn’t she at least be able to outline the contours of that right?

    We all have the desire to be safe from harm, but that doesn’t mean that we have an inalienable right to be safe. The world is a dangerous place, and while our Constitution charges the federal government with providing for the common defense and to provide for the general welfare, no government on earth can guarantee that we’ll be able to live our lives in complete safety.

    While Harris didn’t elaborate or try to define the scope of her right to safety, based on her other comments on Thursday it sure seems that she believes it trumps our Second Amendment rights. Of course, given that Harris has previously argued that the Second Amendment doesn’t protect an individual right to keep and bear arms, that shouldn’t come as a surprise.

    But if Harris believes that the right to be safe overrides our right to possess a modern sporting rifle (or perhaps even a handgun), then is there any limiting principle to that right? Harris seems to believe that the only way to protect her supposed right to safety is to limit access to things that can be dangerous if misused or abused. Why wouldn’t a ban on alcohol sales and consumption be okay, so long as its purpose was to protect Americans from harm? After all, alcohol kills nearly 200,000 Americans each year, according to the CDC. That’s about ten times the number of all homicides, and more than four times the number of all gun-involved deaths, including accidents and suicides.

    How about social media? We know that criminals use platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok to facilitate trafficking of drugs, guns, and humans. Wouldn’t we all be safer if those platforms were prohibited by the federal government?

    Harris’s “right to safety” could be used and abused to restrict any number of our individual freedoms. As Thomas Jefferson wrote in a letter to James Madison in 1787:

    Societies exist under three forms sufficiently distinguishable.

    1. Without government, as among our Indians.

    2. Under governments wherein the will of every one has a just influence, as is the case in England in a slight degree, and in our states in a great one.

    3. Under governments of force: as is the case in all other monarchies and in most of the other republics.

    To have an idea of the curse of existence under these last, they must be seen. It is a government of wolves over sheep. It is a problem, not clear in my mind, that the 1st. condition is not the best. But I believe it to be inconsistent with any great degree of population. The second state has a great deal of good in it. The mass of mankind under that enjoys a precious degree of liberty and happiness. It has it’s evils too: the principal of which is the turbulence to which it is subject. But weigh this against the oppressions of monarchy, and it becomes nothing. Malo periculosam, libertatem quam quietam servitutem. Even this evil is productive of good. It prevents the degeneracy of government, and nourishes a general attention to the public affairs. I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical.

    That Latin phrase can be translated as “I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery” or “I prefer the tumult of liberty to the quiet of servitude.”

    Harris’s “right to safety” promises to replace the tumult of liberty with that quiet servitude that Jefferson warned about, but only at the expense of our personal freedoms and individual liberties.

    The good news is that, despite what Harris and Biden have stated, we can, in fact, address violent crime and public safety without targeting the inalienable right to keep and bear arms. We start with a focus on the small number of our fellow Americans intent on committing violent acts and ensure that they face legitimate consequences for their actions. We offer a pathway to a life on the right side of the law for those at risk of becoming a prolific and violent offender. We fix our broken juvenile justice system. And we build a culture of responsible gun ownership in places where a criminal culture has been allowed to flourish; not just protecting the right of the people to defend themselves, their loved ones, and their communities, but restoring that right where it has been lost.

    Wlll that guarantee the safety of every individual American? No, but neither will Kamala Harris’s siren call of safety at the expense of your rights. But using proven strategies that focus on criminals instead of trying to criminalize lawful gun owners is a more pragmantic, constitutionally sound, and effective way of combatting violence than the restrictions, regulations, and prohibitions that Harris has embraced throughout her long career in politics.

    The drama, danger, and stakes of Election 2024 have now multiplied exponentially to grave and mortal levels.

    On September 25, 2024, the FBI acknowledged to the Associated Press that they gave a briefing to the Trump Team of credible threats to Donald J. Trump.

    “In a statement Tuesday, campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said the meeting included information about “real and specific” threats to “assassinate him in an effort to destabilize and sow chaos in the United States.”

    Predictably, Corporate Media chose to quibble and parse because the target was Candidate Trump. Reuters said, “Trump implicates Iran, without evidence, in assassination attempts against him”.

    Reuters needs to keep up with the story, the FBI had already acknowledged briefing the Trump Campaign on real and specific assassination threats by Iran.

    The FBI briefing likely minimized information on sources, methods, tactics, techniques, and procedures to safeguard the information and what they shared likely had the caveat to not share the information with media, but that’s not good enough for Reuters.

    This direct threat by a foreign power is unprecedented. We may have disagreements with Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on certain topics, but his reaction was correct, “This is an Act of War” and that Iran should “pay a price” for targeting Trump and attempting to “undermine” the Presidential Elections in the United States.

    Refreshing everyone’s memory, there are at least three named Iranian assassins already in the U.S. or at large as part of the Iranian assassination effort.

    They are Majid Dastjani Farahani, “a suspected member of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security, who the Bureau alleged has been recruiting “individuals for operations in the U.S., to include lethal targeting of current/former USG officials.”

    “Asif Merchant, is another Iranian Assassin who “orchestrated a plot to assassinate U.S. government officials on U.S. soil” in New York City. The Department of Justice alleges Shahram Poursafi, a member of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), tried to hire people to assassinate John Bolton, Trump’s National Security Adviser who authorized the elimination of Qesam Soleimani, the IRGC leader while he was in Baghdad, Iraq on January 3, 2020.

    The Harris Team has also released 102 other terrorists into the U.S. after their initial arrival enabled by the Open Borders campaign of Border Czar Harris.

    Now that the FBI has conducted this briefing, where is the action? I’ve experienced such briefings in the past and the basic caution passed along is “Be Alert”. Other than that, there was little proffered in the form of protective equipment, bodyguards, or anything tangible. Just “Be Alert”. After that caution – you are basically on your own.
    Re-purpose entire FBI, DHS aircraft fleet to identify and locate the Assassination Teams

    We have at least three Iranian terrorists in the country – these are just the ones that we know about, there are likely more that have not been announced or that have not been identified.

    In Military Intelligence, when you see a “unit”, always assume the immediate presence of higher-level units close by.

    This means with three personnel, there’s likely a command and control/support cell of 15 to 20 more Iranian personnel in the U.S. that are part of the conspiracy.

    We’re getting better reporting on social media than we are receiving from the U.S. Government. The that the Iranians have brought in MANPADS, man-portable, surface-to-air missiles such as the SA-7, similar to the American Stinger Missile.

    The Gateway Pundit spoke to Dr. Pete Chambers, a former Army Lt. Col. and Green Beret, who first went public with the story and has devoted years of his life to protecting the southern border. On the evening of September 22, he received a report from a confidential informant.

    The next morning, Chambers said a second informant corroborated this report with a colleague close to Chambers by the name of Bazzel Baz.

    Finding and eliminating this threat should be declared an active, domestic counter-terrorist operation and all Federal resources should be pivoted away from School Board meetings and spying on Americans.

    One tangible action is that the entire FBI and DHS air forces, should immediately focus on providing air cover for the Trump Campaign. The FBI has a substantial air surveillance capability – likely more than 100 aircraft owned or leased for FBI operations.

    The Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) Cameras on these aircraft combined with Artificial Intelligence enablement should be flying 24/7 around the Trump campaign looking for the MANPADS shooters. DHS has a similar, substantial air force, every one of these assets should be re-prioritized to protect the Trump Campaign.
    Harris and Deep Staters are complicit

    The corruption of the Harris Camp and the Deep Staters has turned them into active enablers of this immediate and mortal threat to the Trump Campaign.

    In addition to the three Iranians identified above, it looks like an Iranian additional personality, Abouzar Rahmati, was working as a contractor at the Federal Aviation Administration, which would make him an ideal asset to see into systems and networks that can report real time information on the Trump Force One aircraft.

    All of this mortal danger to the American Republic has been allowed by the Harris Open Border Strategy to bring in voters. In addition to the kinetic attempt to kill President Trump, a broad cyber hacking effort has been exposed.

    The Iranians broke into the Trump Campaign, stole documents, and then, according to the U.S. Government “attempted” to give them to the Biden Campaign.

    In 2016, Jake Sullivan and Susan Rice ran the Russia Hoax and took sensitive National Security Agency reports and used them in political warfare against the Trump Campaign.

    When the Iranians in 2024 stole Trump Campaign documents, the national intelligence capabilities of the United States were likely cued to look inside the Iranian networks for these documents and stole them right back.

    If they were stolen back, that means Jake Sullivan likely saw them which means that the Harris Campaign received them and perhaps the ABC partisan moderators of the debate, Linsey Davis and David Muir had them also (Davis shared the questions in advance with the Harris Team).

    It was a setup like January 6th, the Harris Team is actively enabling the Iranian assassins through open borders and their love affair with Iran. If Jake Sullivan would give the names of Mossad Agents to Iran, he would have no problem helping Iran take down Trump Force One.

    Richard, I have been watching Vivek Ramaswamy during the current election and have been impressed with him, I spent some of my mad money on his book “Truths” and was very impressed by his writing.
