The stunning incompetence of our politicians is mitigated only by the probability they are killing our economies intentionally, which means they have their own brand of furtive expertise. The Nazi midget in Canada is trying to save the banks by encouraging yet more consumer debt in the failing housing sector, while U.S. central planners brace their command economy with possible price controls. History has seen it all before, yet it doesn’t matter. Politics will do what politics does. Dropping interest rates to save the crippled jobs market means inflation will rage.
The 1970’s are calling. It doesn’t want anyone stealing its decade, but it shouldn’t worry. The current debt level distinguishes now from then by a country mile. The now-hackneyed expression about history rhyming has wilted to nonsense, in this regard. We would be lucky to have that decade back.

Erik Prince on Trump Assassins Appearing in BlackRock Commercials, “The Statistical Likelihood of that Being Random Is Impossible” (VIDEO)

Blackwater founder Erik Prince discusses the second attempted assassination of Donald Trump on The War Room.
Former Navy SEAL and founder of the private military company Blackwater, Erik Prince, joined Natalie Winters on The War Room on Tuesday to discuss the second unsuccessful assassination attempt against President Donald Trump in two months.
During their discussion Erik Prince pointed out the odd coincidence that both Trump failed assassins, Thomas Crooks and Ryan Wesley Routh, were both featured in a BlackRock commercial.
Prince told Natalie Winters, “There’s some indication that shows both the Butler shooter and yesterday’s shooter both appeared in BlackRock TV commercials. The statistical likelihood of that being random is impossible.”
Prince also said the feds have lost all credibility in investigating the Trump would-be assassins.
Here is the full exchange:
Erik Prince: There’s one other weird thread. There’s some indication that shows both the Butler shooter and this guy yesterday both appeared in BlackRock TV commercials. The statistical likelihood of that being random is impossible.
So that’s why I got animated last night about how Florida needs to take the lead in this investigation because I just don’t see the federal government. I don’t see the FBI doing any adequate job.
The Miami field office, the head agent there, was instructed to scrub all his social media before he was appointed there because he was so brilliantly anti-Trump. This is the same field office that rated Mar-a-Lago on that bogus documents case.
So if we think that they’re going to be suddenly truth-seeking, the same guys that indicted him on complete nonsense charges were kidding ourselves.
And, so I really want Florida to flex up and assert, I mean, look, this is attempted murder in the state of Florida. It’s not just a federal crime, that’s a state crime. And I think the feds have lost any and all credibility on this.
We don’t know anything more about the Butler shooter. The Dems have tried to, the media has just tried to memory hold that as if something that doesn’t exist.
And now we have two shooting attempts, two assassination attempts on the for President, unprecedented in American history.
These threads have to be unspiraled, unwound, and the truth must come out because the The Left with their over-the-top, vitriolic, super-toxic language saying, Trump must be eliminated. He’s a threat to democracy. He’s Hitler, Hitler, Hitler. That gives license to every crazy left wing nut job to try to go after him.
And this guy had his final firing position. He was there for 12 hours with the ballistic plates against the fence, trying to give himself some cover from counter snipers.
And he had his GoPro posted there, mounted, ready because he was trophy hunting. He was there to be the hero of the left to say, I kill Donald Trump. I am the savior of democracy.

BREAKING: Over 1,000 Wounded, Including Hezbollah Terrorists, as Pagers They Use to Communicate Explode Across the Country

Over 1,000 individuals, including Hezbollah terrorists, were wounded when the pagers they use for communication exploded across Lebanon on Tuesday, according to Reuters.
The incident, confirmed by security sources, is being called the “biggest security breach” the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terror network has faced since its ongoing war with Israel began.
The explosions, reported by Reuters, occurred at 3:45 p.m. local time. Panic spread as Hezbollah-controlled areas in southern Beirut and other parts of the country were hit with explosions that lasted for over an hour.
Security sources confirmed that the devices were the latest models used by Hezbollah and were thought to be critical in their communications amidst their war efforts against Israel.
Despite Hezbollah’s close ties with Iran, which has been instrumental in supplying the group with weapons and communications technology, this incident marks a significant embarrassment for their operations.
Hezbollah’s use of technology, likely provided through Iranian channels, appears to have backfired in the most dramatic way possible. Even the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, was reportedly injured in one of the blasts, according to Iranian media.
More from Reuters:
The pagers that detonated were the latest model brought in by Hezbollah in recent months, three security sources said.
A Reuters journalist saw ambulances rushing through the southern suburbs of the capital Beirut, a Hezbollah stronghold, amid widespread panic. A security source said that devices were also exploding in the south of Lebanon.
[…]
The wave of explosions lasted around an hour after the initial detonations, which took place about 3:45 p.m. local time (1345 GMT). It was not immediately clear how the devices were detonated.
[…]
Lebanon’s crisis operations center, which is run by the health ministry, asked all medical workers to head to their respective hospitals to help cope with the massive numbers of wounded coming in for urgent care. It said health care workers should not use pagers.
The Lebanese Red Cross said more than 50 ambulances and 300 emergency medical staff were dispatched to help in the evacuation of victims.

Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, was injured on Tuesday by the explosion of a pager, Iran’s Mehr news agency reported on Tuesday.
It was unclear whether the ambassador was in the vicinity of someone carrying one of the tampered pagers or whether Amani was carrying one himself.
It was later reported by Al Jazeera, citing Arab media sources, that Amani’s injuries were “superficial.”

Zuckerberg’s Meta BANS Russian State Media on ALL Platforms Following Biden Administration Sanctions
thegatewaypundit.com/2024/09/zuckerbergs-meta-bans-russian-state-media-all-platforms/

On Monday, Mark Zuckerberg’s company Meta announced a ban on Russian state media across its platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, citing concerns over “election interference.”
“After careful consideration, we expanded our ongoing enforcement against Russian state media outlets. Rossiya Segodnya, RT, and other related entities are now banned from our apps globally for foreign interference activity,” a spokesperson for Meta stated.
This decision follows the recent announcement from the Biden administration, which imposed new sanctions on Russian state media, asserting that these outlets were masquerading as legitimate news providers in multiple countries as part of a broader strategy to disseminate Russian propaganda.
State Department official James Rubin described these networks as “a fully fledged member of the intelligence apparatus and operation of the Russian government.”
Meta’s move to censor Russian media should raise a couple of eyebrows in light of Zuckerberg’s recent statements expressing his regret for complying with the administration’s demands to suppress information related to COVID-19 and the Hunter Biden investigations prior to the very contentious 2020 election.
In a letter to the House Judiciary Committee earlier this month, Zuckerberg shared, “I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it. I feel strongly that we should not compromise our content standards due to pressure from any Administration in either direction — and we’re ready to push back if something like this happens again.”
Moreover, Zuckerberg acknowledged that the administration’s attempts to characterize certain reporting as Russian disinformation were unfounded, stating, “It’s since been made clear that the reporting was not Russian disinformation, and in retrospect, we shouldn’t have demoted the story.”
Given this background, the question arises: Why is Zuckerberg once again yielding to the administration that is leveraging the same narrative of “Russian interference” ahead of another election cycle?
Meta’s decision once again reflects a troubling trend wherein social media platforms operate under the pressure of governmental influence, to undermine the principles of free speech.
Such actions threaten the integrity of democratic discourse and the role of government in shaping public perception through the filtration of information and the censorship of speech.
By pressuring social media companies to restrict certain content or viewpoints, the administration itself is interfering with the electoral process it claims to want to protect while harming the very democratic principles they claim to uphold.
By allowing Meta to ban Russian media networks, Zuckerberg has contradicted his previous statements and exposed that he is still an ally to the Biden regime and its efforts to censor information right before another major election.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis Announces Executive Order Assigning Attempted Assassination Case to Office of Statewide Prosecutor ‘It is Not in Best Interest to Have Same Federal Agencies Seeking to Prosecute Donald Trump Leading This Investigation’ (Video)

DeSantis posted on X, “The State of Florida will be conducting its own investigation regarding the attempted assassination at Trump International Golf Club.”
“The people deserve the truth about the would-be assassin and how he was able to get within 500 yards of the former president and current GOP nominee.”

On Tuesday morning, DeSantis announced he will sign an Executive Order assigning the case to the Office of Statewide Prosecutor.
During a press conference, DeSantis said, “Today, I’m signing an Executive Order assigning the case involving the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump to the office of statewide prosecutor under the supervision of attorney general, Ashley Moody.”
“The suspect, Ryan Routh, is believed to have committed state law violations across multiple judicial circuits in the state. Palm Beach Judicial Circuit, the Judicial Circuit, including Martin County, as well as perhaps the Judicial Circuit represented by Broward County.”
“Also, the state of Florida has jurisdiction over the most serious straightforward offense, which is attempted murder. I’ve directed state agencies to move expeditiously and to provide full transparency to the public.”
“In my judgment, it’s not in the best interest of our state or our nation, they have the same federal agencies that are seeking to prosecute Donald Trump leading this investigation, especially when the most serious straightforward offense constitutes a violation of state law, but not federal law.”
“In addition to holding the suspect accountable, the public deserves to know the truth about how this assassination came to be. I have directed all state agencies to work expeditiously to be able to uncover the truth in addition to holding this suspect accountable.”

Democrat Judge Blocks Texas AG’s Effort to Stop County from Mailing Registration Forms to 210,000 Unregistered Voters — Ken Paxton Fires Back with Appeal

Democrat District Court Judge Antonia Arteaga struck down a legal attempt by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton to halt Bexar County’s push to mail voter registration forms to over 200,000 unregistered voters.
The lawsuit, filed by Paxton on the heels of Bexar County’s September 3 decision, sought to prevent the county from working with Civic Government Solutions to distribute unsolicited voter registration forms.
Paxton contended that such an action was not only illegal but a blatant effort by Democrat-led counties to sway voter turnout in their favor by bypassing standard registration processes.
Despite the clear warning from Paxton’s office, Bexar County pushed forward with its plans, mailing out the registration forms before the courts could take up the matter.
On Monday, Judge Arteaga dismissed Paxton’s request for a temporary restraining order against Bexar County’s plan to send out approximately 210,000 voter registration forms.
Attorney General Paxton, not backing down, immediately filed an appeal and vowed to continue fighting the “brazen” attempt to “circumvent election law.”
In a fiery statement following the ruling, Paxton called out Bexar County officials for their “dirty tricks” and accused them of knowingly violating the law by fast-tracking the mass mailout before the issue could be legally addressed.
Read the press release below:
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a notice of appeal to continue an Office of the Attorney General (“OAG”) lawsuit challenging a Bexar County program that unlawfully mailed thousands of unsolicited voter registration applications to unverified recipients.
On September 2, Attorney General Paxton warned the Bexar County Commissioners Court that its proposed plan to employ a third-party vendor to mail voter registration forms to individuals regardless of the eligibility of the recipients would violate the law. Nevertheless, Bexar County approved the program the next day over the objection of its own voter registrar. Attorney General Paxton immediately sued and the OAG attempted to schedule a hearing on a motion for a temporary restraining order with Bexar County attorneys. Bexar County claimed that it needed more time to prepare for litigation and agreed to a consolidated preliminary hearing on September 16.
However, on the Friday before the rescheduled hearing Bexar County filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit—in which they revealed that they had been acting in secret to expedite the mass mailouts. Because the unsolicited voter registration forms had already been distributed to residents regardless of the legality of the contract or the eligibility of the recipients, the judge dismissed the State’s motion as moot. The Office of the Attorney General is appealing this ruling and will continue seeking appropriate remedies.
“In a display of bad faith, Bexar County engaged in dirty tricks to avoid appropriate judicial review of a clearly unlawful program that invites voter fraud,” said Attorney General Paxton. “These actions demonstrate that Bexar County knew what they were doing was wrong, yet expedited the mailout of unsolicited registration forms before the issue could be argued in court. I will fight every step of the way to hold them accountable and uphold the integrity of our elections.”

Hillary Clinton then suggested jailing Americans for posting “misinformation.”
Clinton was whining about so-called Russian propaganda when she launched an attack on Americans and the First Amendment.
“There were Russians engaged in direct election interference and boosting Trump back in 2016, but I also thing there are Americans who are engaged in this kind of propaganda and whether they should be civilly or criminally charged would be something that would be a better deterrent,” Hillary said.

Rogue dolphin behind 53 attacks in Fukui over three years?

FUKUI–Suspicions have emerged that a rogue dolphin may be responsible for a spate of attacks off Fukui Prefecture over the past three years that left at least 53 people with wounds and sometimes broken bones.
Most of the victims attacked by dolphins were bitten on their arms and hands, and seven were rammed by the mammals.
Twenty people were injured between July 21 and Aug. 20 this year, after 12 victims in 2023 and 21 in 2022, according to records The Asahi Shimbun obtained from prefectural police and the Tsuruga Coast Guard Office.
More people are believed to have been injured because some victims did not report the matter to authorities or went to hospital on their own, sources said.
Dolphins have repeatedly appeared along local beaches crowded with bathers.
Fifty of the victims were at beaches designated for swimming. Among the remaining three, two were at rocky patches near beaches and one was offshore.
Swimming beaches in Fukui Prefecture attract visitors from inside and outside the prefecture.
Most of the victims were out-of-towners. Eleven were from Aichi Prefecture, followed by eight from Gifu, five from Kyoto and four from Mie.
In each incident, only one dolphin was present. There are no records of two or more dolphins appearing at the same time.
Images of a lone dolphin caught by camera along the coasts of Fukui and Ishikawa prefectures all share a single trait: a mammal with an injured dorsal fin.
Tadamichi Morisaka, a professor of cetology at Mie University, visited sites where some of the attacks occurred.
He suspects a single Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin that has become used to bathers is responsible for all the incidents.
Morisaka was not aware of reports elsewhere in the world about so many people being intermittently injured by wild dolphins.
Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins live in schools. Morisaka believes that the individual in question is a solitary dolphin roaming along the coast of Fukui Prefecture.
Many of the victims were bitten after they stroked a dolphin or tried to shake off a mammal that snuggled up to them, according to records from the prefectural police and the coast guard.
A 66-year-old man was bitten on his left hand when he grabbed the dorsal fin of a dolphin in shallow waters in Tsuruga, Fukui Prefecture, on Aug. 4. The injury took 10 days to heal.
Dolphins have the habit of rubbing their bodies against each other and lightly biting to interact with peers.
Ryoichi Matsubara, director of the Echizen Matsushima Aquarium in Sakai, Fukui Prefecture, said, “Even if dolphins gently bite, if people reflexively withdraw their hands, they can get seriously injured.”
He warned people against approaching or touching dolphins.
Seven cases involved a dolphin ramming a victim.
A 33-year-old man playing with a dolphin in Mihama, Fukui Prefecture, on June 20, 2023, got the shock of his life when his foot hit its head. The dolphin’s behavior changed immediately, and it repeatedly dashed itself against him.
Experts say the most severe type of ramming is a rush, which can prove fatal. The British Broadcasting Corp. reported such a case in Brazil in 1994.
Experts were puzzled by the gender disparity in the Japan attacks because an overwhelming majority, or 43 victims, were men. Women accounted for nine. The gender of one victim is unknown.

2nd Trump Assassination/Attack Proves Gun Control is a Massive Failure

The arrest of a man in connection with an alleged assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump in Florida has elicited calls from several sources for more gun control, but the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms says the incident actually provides more evidence that gun control laws simply don’t work.
The suspect, identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, has been charged with possession of a firearm by a repeat convicted felon & possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

In 2002, Trump assassin Ryan Wesley Routh was arrested for possessing a weapon of mass destruction, yet his punishment was shockingly light—probation.
The Department of Homeland Security defines a weapon of mass destruction as nuclear, radiological, chemical, or biological, designed to inflict mass harm.
There’s no doubt he was working for intelligence agencies.
https://x.com/ShadowofEzra/status/1835487305668112740
Various published reports say he has “an extensive criminal record” with more than 100 criminal counts filed against him when he lived in North Carolina, and he has a felony conviction for possession of stolen property. He is also known to have made political donations to Democrat campaigns.
“What this case shows is that someone with evil intentions will find a way to get his hands on a firearm,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. “Reports that the serial number of the rifle recovered by police had been filed off indicate the suspect knew what he was doing.
“We know from various reports this man appears to have violated several existing gun control laws,” he added.
“Just as important,” Gottlieb continued, “is that this case also reinforces the notion that our criminal justice system, rather than the country’s gun control laws, is what needs to be reformed. With this guy’s reported criminal history, he should not have had a firearm. But guess what? Gun laws have never stopped someone determined to commit mayhem.”
Gottlieb is pleased that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has promised an investigation by authorities in the Sunshine State, which could yield more valuable information about the suspect, and how he was able to get so close to the former president.
“This sort of thing should never happen even once,” Gottlieb observed. “But now it has happened to Donald Trump twice.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, a second attempt was made on President Trump’s life, just two months after he came within a centimeter of being killed in Butler, Pennsylvania by a Democrat donor named Thomas Crooks.
Shots were fired at the 45th president’s golf club in West Palm Beach on Sunday afternoon at roughly 1:30 pm as he was playing golf with real estate investor Steve Witkoff. The shooter, later identified as 58-year-old Trump hater Ryan Wesley Routh, shoved the muzzle of his rifle through the fence line at the golf course before Secret Service agents opened fire on him.
According to law enforcement, Routh was no more than 500 yards away from Trump and was hiding in shrubbery when he pointed his rifle, reportedly an AK-47, at the former president.
He then darted out of the bushes and escaped in a black vehicle, but he was arrested in Martin County. Routh was charged with two federal gun crimes during his appearance in federal court yesterday: possessing a firearm despite being a convicted felon and possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
Americans are understandably wondering how another deranged lunatic was able to get within shooting distance of the most famous man in the world just two months after the first assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. It turns out there may be a sinister and treasonous reason why.
According to one respected GOP congressman, the country has to consider the strong possibility that there is someone in the Secret Service deliberately putting President Trump in danger.
Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ), a former Navy Seal, appeared on the Benny Johnson show Tuesday to give his perspective on the security failures that led to the second attempt on Trump’s life. Crane told Johnson that the evidence he has seen suggests that there is a mole within the Secret Service and that Trump should hire his own security to fill in the gaps the agency is leaving open.

“THERE IS A MOLE IN THE SECRET SERVICE…”
Congressman and fmr Navy SEAL Eli Crane concludes evidence suggests possible Secret Service mole after second attempt on Trump:

My advice to the President is to bolster your private security around you not only to fill holes in the gaps that the Secret Service continues to leave open but also to watch the watchers.
There is a very real possibility that there is a mole in the Secret Service team surrounding the President or at the highest levels of the Secret Service. So he needs somebody, like a group of individuals around him that are loyal to him.
If what Crane is saying is true, this constitutes arguably the most treacherous act in American history. Is it any wonder the Biden-Harris regime wants to stonewall Congress and try to memory-hole the attempts on Trump’s life

In the show Dan says that he thinks Routh was planning on suicide by cops after he shot Trump and chicken out, I think he was planning on dying in a shoot out after he shot Trump but when he didn’t get to shoot Trump he tried running so he could come back later and finish his mission.
Deep State Leak: Secret Service Can’t Guarantee it Can Prevent More Assassination Attempts Against Trump

The Deep State is preparing the public just to accept that there will be more assassination attempts against Trump.
The Secret Service cannot guarantee that it can prevent more shooting assassination attempts against Trump according to an intel leak to i News.
Shots were fired at Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 pm as the former president was playing a round of golf with real estate investor Steve Witkoff.
Would-be assassin Ryan Routh set up a sniper’s nest in the shrubbery outside the perimeter of Trump’s golf course in West Palm Beach.
According to law enforcement, Ryan Wesley Routh pushed the muzzle of his rifle through the fence line at Trump’s golf course before Secret Service agents fired at him.
This is the second assassination attempt against Trump in two months.
On July 13, would-be assassin Thomas Crooks was able to climb on top of a roof next to Trump’s Butler, Pennsylvania rally and put Trump in his scope.
A bullet grazed President Trump’s ear during his Pennsylvania rally. One rallygoer was fatally struck in the head. Two other rally attendees were wounded, one critically.
According to a leak to the Washington Post earlier this month, Secret Service agents never directed local police to secure the roof that Thomas Crooks used to take 8 shots at Trump and rallygoers.
Biden’s DHS has repeatedly denied President Trump more Secret Service protection and now the Deep State-media complex is trying to normalize assassination attempts against Trump.
i News reported:
The US Secret Service cannot guarantee it can prevent further shootings such as the two apparent assassination attempts involving Donald Trump, US and British intelligence sources have told i.
Law enforcement sources on both sides of the Atlantic warned that aggressive social media rhetoric and the ease of buying firearms has created a threat for both presidential campaigns too large for the US agency to deal with alone.
On Sunday, Mr Trump faced his second assassination attempt in two months as a would-be shooter positioned himself in the bushes on the perimeter of his Florida golf club. A Secret Service agent monitoring one hole ahead of Mr Trump spotted the barrel of a gun pointing out of the foliage, prompting him to open fire.
One suspect was later arrested about 40 miles from the scene and an official assassination investigation has been launched by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).

Victor Davis Hanson: The Deadly ‘Get Trump’ Climate Continues
Victor Davis Hanson | September 16, 2024

Just two months after the failed Trump assassination attempt by one Thomas Matthew Crooks, we witnessed Sunday yet another foiled one, by Ryan Wesley Routh—a would-be assassin and anti-Trump/radical pro-Ukraine War social media addict.
Somehow he, too, once again got within relatively easy shooting range of former President Donald Trump.
Is there a continued pattern here of lax Trump Secret Service protection, coupled with a general social media and televised climate that equates Trump with Hitler and lowers the bar on assassination?

That is, are we sending unambiguous messages to would-be assassins that a) lots of Trump-hating people would welcome an assassination attempt and canonize the wannabe assailant; b) it would not be that difficult to pull an assassination off, given security laxity and incompetence; and thus c) we will likely witness a series of such unhinged attempts?
On Aug. 14, almost exactly two months ago, I predicted the following:
<blockquoteIf Donald Trump all summer has been compared by his enemies to Hitler and his murderous Third Reich, and if a 20-year-old would-be assassin and murderer with ease took up a sniper’s position to kill Trump—without a notified Secret Service or other law enforcement attempting to abort the shooter’s attempted assassination—what signal does that send to other would-be assassins for the next 80 days of the 2024 campaign?
Is the message that if a 20-year-old amateur sniper can brazenly and visibly for nearly an hour breach all Secret Service security perimeters to shoot eight times at the president, hit him in the ear, kill one innocent bystander, and wound two others, then almost any future, more-experienced serious shooter could match or exceed the ability of that disturbed amateur to get close enough to Trump to fire more than eight shots at his head?
And that shooting Trump in many leftist quarters would subsequently earn the unhinged killer eternal fame, applause, and immortality?
And that if there are such anticipated rewards and perceived opportunities, then we may well see more attempts on candidate Trump’s life?
And here is just today’s example of the usual left-wing daily vitriol equating Trump with some sort of existential enemy that must be somehow stopped—expressed on both television and social media:
After the would-be assassination attempt, Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York posted this: “Extreme MAGA Republicans are the party of a national abortion ban and Trump’s Project 2025. We must stop them.”
Jeffries is spreading untruths: Trump has never supported a national abortion ban and has consistently distanced himself from The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025. And after such deliberately lying, what exactly does the House minority leader mean by “We must stop them”?
And after Sunday’s failed assassination attempt, Rachel Vindman, wife of Alexander Vindman of Trump’s first impeachment notoriety, and sister-in-law to current congressional candidate Eugene Vindman, D-Va., posted, “No ears were harmed. Carry on with your Sunday afternoon.”
What does Ms. Vindman mean? Another weekend, just another attempt to kill Trump, so no big deal?
And also, on MSNBC, Democratic activist the Rev. Jacqui Lewis ranted (to the silence of the network’s host, Jonathan Capehart), “Let’s not pretend that Donald Trump isn’t exactly like Mussolini, exactly like Hitler … . You nice Christians, kind, loving Jewish people … we’re not these people. We’re not these people. And we’re not going to get what we want if we elect this fascist, authoritarian weasel.”
So, what does Lewis suggest to Americans that they do with such a “Hitlerian weasel”?
And we should remind Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden—for yet the nth time—that Trump did not call for a “bloodbath” if he lost in November. (He was talking about the economic consequences to the U.S. automobile industry of mandating electric vehicles, and outsourcing automobile plants and jobs to Mexico.)
Nor did he claim that white supremacists were “good people” at Charlottesville, Virginia—but, as the liberal Snopes fact-checked, just the opposite: “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally.”
These serial assassination attempts, unfortunately, occur in a weary context of Russian collusion, laptop disinformation, state ballot removal, and lawfare. And they are starting to reflect a larger environment of justifying extralegal means to achieve the ends of ending Trump’s presidency and later reelection by any means necessary.
So, is it all that hard over the next 50 days for Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to extend adequate Secret Service security for ex-president and Republican presidential nominee Trump (which some congressional Democrats, led by Jan. 6 Committee Co-Chairman Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., had sought to stop entirely in April of this year)?
And can we just stop with the demonizing of Trump as a “Hitler/fascist/bloodbath/weasel/dictator” that must be stopped—before we see third, fourth, and fifth such assassination attempts?

I’ve been holding my breath since 2019.
That’s when the Barbi Jihad Squad slandered joooz and izra-ale on the floor of Congress. Defiled that sacred place. The honchos refused to reprimand the hijabi jihadi; the right chimed in with noble Rand Paul front and center demanding “free speech”.
Normalized jooo-hate follows a terrible trajectory. It’s dehumanizing, paints a bullseye on us – has done for millennia.
Associating the Yellow Star with covid protests was an especially unfortunate PR jab. Takes us back to well-poisoning and blood-drinking.
Free-speech Crusaders don’t understand the mechanisms of incitement. Or maybe they don’t care about the violence their principled stance releases. The Crusades swept us out of Western Europe, destroyed communities established from Roman times. Most of the throng never made it to the Holy Land. They satiated their bloodlust on us instead of the tardish infidels.
The fear registered in my bones.
Deep State operatives, attention-seeking lunatics are circling PT. G-d forbid, it just takes one. And then count on a celebratory response. Like after the Gaza envelope massacre on 10/7.
It’s deeply painful; I don’t have an answer.
It’s probably too late to put the genie back in the bottle. For this round, anyway.
Of course Iran and the Deep State demonrats.
But don’t forget CHY-na !
Rumour in Russia has it that Putin is doing another draft of men for the military, and it is supposed to be a big one.
I have not been able to confirm this rumour from other sources yet.
Here we go:
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday ordered the Russian Army to add 180,000 more troops, which would bring its total to 1.5 million active-duty soldiers — the second largest army in the world after China.
The order, which goes into effect on December 1, is the third major increase to the size of Russia’s military Putin has ordered since he invaded Ukraine in February 2022. He added 137,000 active-duty soldiers in August 2022 and 170,000 in December 2023.
With reserves and other personnel included, the Russian military will have 2.38 million members after Putin’s order goes into effect, increasing from 2.2 million.

VILE: Hillary Clinton Joins Rachel Maddow One Day After Assassination Attempt Calls Trump “a Danger to Our Country and World,” Calls to Jail Americans for Posting “Propaganda”

Hillary Clinton joined the Rachel Maddow show on Monday, one day after the second assassination attempt on President Trump in two months, and ramped up the hateful rhetoric that led to violent leftists trying to kill the Republican frontrunner.
Shots were fired at Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach on Sunday as President Trump was golfing on the 5th hole with real estate investor Steve Witkoff. Officials later confirmed that the gunman, identified as 58-year-old Routh, targeted President Trump. However, it was unclear if the shots that were heard came from the gunman or the Secret Service shooting at the suspect before he was able to discharge his weapon.
Hillary Clinton did not even condemn the violence against Trump before jumping on the attack and calling him a “danger to our country and the world.”
Rachel Maddow, in a scathing monologue before bringing Clinton on the show, appeared to downplay the severity of the incident before jumping into a nearly 12-minute anti-Trump rant, calling him racist, racist, and comparing him to Nazis.
Hillary Clinton joined the show and called for more hateful rhetoric against Trump and a “consistent narrative” from the press “about how dangerous Trump is,” calling him a “danger to our country and the world.”
WATCH:
Clinton: I don’t understand why it’s so difficult for the press to have a consistent narrative about how dangerous Trump is. You know, the late, great journalist, Terry Evans, you know, one time, said that, you know, journalists should, you know, really try to achieve objectivity. And by that, he said, I mean, they should cover the object—well, the object in this case, is Donald Trump, his demagoguery, his danger to our country and the world—and stick with it.
Moments later, Clinton repeated the debunked 2016 Russia collusion conspiracy theory and called for criminal charges against Americans engaging in what she calls “propaganda.”
WATCH:
Clinton: I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this kind of propaganda, and whether they should be civilly or criminally charged is something that would be a better deterrence.

New SCOTUS Cert Petition Seeks Answers on ‘Irreparable Harm’ of Gun Ban
By Cam Edwards | 9:31 AM | September 17, 2024

The Supreme Court has stated that when it comes to the loss of our First Amendment freedoms, even temporarily, people suffer irreparable injury. But when it comes to our right to keep and bear arms, some courts have adopted the point of view that irreparable harm isn’t done by keeping constitutionally suspect laws in place and in force while they’re subject to a lawsuit.
Now the Firearms Policy Coalition and the Second Amendment Foundation are asking SCOTUS to correct that error and put the Second Amendment on equal footing with our other enumerated rights.
On Monday, FPC and SAF filed a petition with the Court asking the justices to take up the case of Gray v. Jennings and two related cases that all deal with Delaware’s ban on so-called assault weapons and large capacity magazines. While the underlying case deals with prohibition on commonly-owned arms, the 2A groups are specifically asking SCOTUS to address whether the infringement of Second Amendmentrights constitutes per se irreparable injury.
According to the organizations, while some appellate courts like the Seventh Circuit and (believe it or not) the Ninth Circuit have held that violating the Second Amendment does constitute an irreparable injury to those affected, the Third Circuit declined to do so, and turned away a request for an injunction without even delving into the constitutional concerns over the law. Instead, a panel on the Third Circuit ruled that the plaintiffs had “failed to establish an irreparable harm other than the loss of their Second Amendment rights”, and that wasn’t a good enough reason to put the law on ice while litigation continues.
As the petitioners write, the Third Circuit’s stance is yet another example of lower courts treating the Second Amendment as a second-class right.
No monetary damages can adequately compensate a plaintiff for the loss of his inalienable constitutional rights. The Framers charged this Court and the Nation’s other “independent tribunals of justice” with “resist[ing] every encroachment upon rights expressly stipulated for in the Constitution by the declaration of rights,” 1 ANNALS OF CONG. 439 (1789) (statement of Rep. James Madison)—not with standing clear of open encroachments so long as the Government pays its way. This Court has repeatedly recognized this principle in the context of the First Amendment… but it has not explained its reasoning at significant length. The brevity of this Court’s decisions on the subject has led to confusion—and now, direct conflict—in the courts of appeals over the principle’s nature and scope. This Court should grant the writ and clarify that the loss of Second Amendment freedoms, too, necessarily constitutes irreparable injury.
As the plaintiffs point out, violations of Delaware’s “assault weapon” ban can result in felony charges and up to eight years in prison, along with the lifetime loss of the right to keep and bear arms. That’s an injury that is most definitely irreparable, yet both the district court and a three-judge panel on the Third Circuit claimed that the First Amendment is unique and special when it comes to irreparable injuries. In fact, the Third Circuit went even further, arguing that it would be the state of Delaware that would suffer irreparable harm if the gun and magazine bans were subject to an injunction.
The panel also recognized that the Third Circuit had indeed deemed “constitutional harms irreparable” in previous cases; but it insisted that those precedents all fell within an “exception to our rule: we presume that First Amendment harms are irreparable.” That exception, according to the panel, was justified by “[u]nique First Amendment doctrines” and does not apply in the context of any other constitutional rights. And given this reframing of the highly limited availability of preliminary injunctive relief, the panel concluded that Petitioners “claimof irreparable harm collapses.” It further concluded that the remaining equitable factors also militated against preliminary relief, reasoning that “[t]here is always a public interest in prompt execution of the laws” and that “[a]ny time a State is enjoined by a court from effectuating statutes enacted by representatives of its people, it suffers a form of irreparable injury.”
The Supreme Court has repeatedly declined to get involved in Second Amendment cases before they’ve been fully decided on the merits, but FPC and SAF aren’t asking the justices to decide whether or not Delaware’s gun and magazine ban violate the Second Amendment. Instead, they’re asking a salient question about the decision-making involved in granting injunctive relief in Second Amendment cases (there’s already an “assault weapon” and magazine ban case called Snope v. Brown that the Court will consider in conference later this fall). Whether that will entice at least four justices to grant cert remains to be seen, but it’s a legitimate question to pose… and one that only SCOTUS can answer with authority.

The Optimistic Conservative
Actually, Kamala Harris has given her answer on the problem of inflation
The ears have it.
Let’s listen with our ears.
Pundits have been complaining in the last few days, somewhat understandably, that even under direct questioning, candidate Harris has failed to address what she would do about rampant inflation.
But she has, in fact, addressed the question. She’s given an answer we need have no uncertainty about – or unclarity, for that matter.
The short summary is that she has wrapped inflation into “problems with the economy,” and framed problems with the economy in two well-known political frameworks. The frameworks are (a) complaints about the sense of entitlement of “privilege” groups, and (b) the use of public money to cultivate favored constituencies with subsidies.
The latter, framework (b), is depicted by socialist progressivism, properly and correctly defined, as government managing the priorities of the economy and how it serves the people through incentive, reward, and system output (i.e., getting more “just” and necessary products, like high salaries for education administrators and subsidies for “green” enterprises, and fewer questionable and less-just products like single-family houses, recreational off-road vehicles, lucrative men’s professional sports, and aircraft carriers).

Media Mouthpieces React Swiftly to Trump Assassination Attempt by Blaming Guns
Ammoland Inc. Posted on September 17, 2024 by Dave Workman
Donald Trump IMG WhiteHouse-gov
Media commentators have been quick to capitalize on two assassination attempts against Donald Trump to lobby for more gun control, while ignoring vile rhetoric from the Left which has demonized the former president. Donald Trump IMG WhiteHouse-gov
Adhering to the principle of never letting a crisis go to waste, within a day of the second attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, opinion writers and editors started exploiting the incident by calling for additional gun controls, as if the gun somehow is responsible.
For example, Ned Barnett, associate opinion editor at the Charlotte Observer wrote, “After Sandy Hook, we know there is apparently no level of gun violence that will make Republican politicians question their devotion to the illusion that more guns create more safety. But now even Trump may be wondering whether more guns actually create more danger…”
Insisting that “Gun control isn’t about ripping firearms out of the hands of law-abiding citizens. It’s about ensuring that firearms – especially assault weapons – don’t get into the wrong hands.” And then he says it is “crazy to have millions of assault weapons floating around the U.S.”
Bounce over to Robert Kuttner, co-founder and co-editor of The American Prospect, who observes in an opinion piece headlined, “It’s the Guns, Stupid,” that there had not been much talk about guns, so he took it upon himself to broach the subject.
“Indeed, guns have been weirdly missing from the national commentary,” he writes. “Obviously, if we want presidential candidates and schoolchildren safe from assassination attempts and mass classroom mayhem, the most direct route is not a more massive Secret Service or better duck-and-cover school drills, but ending mass ownership of assault weapons.”
Good luck with that since some estimates go as high as 20 million modern semiautomatic rifles now in private ownership. They are “commonly owned” by any definition and are most likely protected by the Second Amendment. The Second Amendment Foundation and Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms are challenging a ban in Maryland, and SAF, long with the Firearms Policy Coalition, on Monday submitted a petition for certiorari to the high court in a different case in Delaware.
Kuttner, who is also a professor at Brandeis University, criticizes the Supreme Court for “making it easier for anyone to own any sort of gun.”
Then comes MSNBC columnist Frank Figliuzzi, who argues, “Something must change…We can talk all day about the need for increased use of technology, drones, cameras, aircraft, dogs, increased staffing of the Secret Service and enhanced federal funding for local police support of the Secret Service, but none of that will change the fact that people who should never have a gun are walking around with high-powered weapons.”
Several paragraphs later, he declares, “we need to significantly reduce the number of assault-style rifles in this country.”
In a moment of clarity, Figliuzzi does observe, “Ask any responsible gun owner if this guy should have a gun, and they’d tell you, ‘No.’ That’s where we need to focus: the guns, and people who shouldn’t have them.”
That much is accurate. No “responsible gun owner” wants violent criminals or raving lunatics to have guns, but they also insist disarming bad guys should not involve disarming good guys, or even infringing upon their Second Amendment rights.
But there is another problem, which the establishment media seems loathe to address.
Where the American Prospect’s Kuttner righteously declares, that guns have been “weirdly missing” from the debate, so also has been any discussion of the vile rhetoric from the left which may be compelling these would-be assassins to try murdering a man who has been demonized before taking office back in 2017.

Enter Hillary Rodham Clinton who, according to Fox News, stated on Monday in an interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, that Trump is a “danger to our country and the world.”
She criticized the media for not hammering away on Trump as she believes must be done.
“I don’t understand why it’s so difficult for the press to have a consistent narrative about how dangerous Trump is,” Clinton pontificated. “You know, the late great journalist Harry Evans, one time said that journalists should, you know, really try to achieve objectivity, and by that, he said, I mean they should cover the object.”
“Well, the object in this case is Donald Trump,” she continued. “His demagoguery, his danger to our country and the world. And stick with it.”
Two months ago, Republican Congressman Steve Scalise of Louisiana, himself a survivor of an assassination attempt at the hands of a deranged Bernie Sanders (I-VT) supporter, told Fox News, “I mean, everybody’s got to look at the rhetoric. But, you know, it’s one side that is going after Donald Trump in a way to demonize him personally. You know, when we talk about the policies of the Democrats and the progressives, it’s those policies that need to be front and center but the left seems to have targeted Donald Trump as a person. They don’t talk about how they don’t like his pet tax and border policies. They just go after him personally, they demonize him.”
This occurred the day after the first assassination attempt. According to Scalise’s website, he also observed, “I mean, look, there’s legislation right now filed by Democrats from months and months ago to take away Donald Trump’s Secret Service protection. That’s a very specific targeted action because they don’t like the person. They can’t tell you what policies of his they don’t like. When Donald Trump was president, name something he did that you didn’t like. You didn’t like a hot, strong economy? You didn’t like a secure border? You didn’t like peace around the world?”
Nobody from the Left is criticizing the inflammatory rhetoric directed at Trump, which might qualify as “hate speech” if it were directed at anyone else. So, before blaming guns, there might be reasonable grounds to blame the political left for its non-stop demonization of the former president.
Nah, it’s easier to blame guns.
