   Investigative journalist James O’Keefe has obtained leaked U.S. Army documents revealing the growing threat of the Venezuelan criminal organization Tren de Aragua (TDA) in New York City.

   The Tren de Aragua, one of Venezuela’s most dangerous gangs, has reportedly established a foothold in key neighborhoods across Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Williamsburg, with an estimated 400 members currently residing in those areas.

   According to the documents, which are categorized as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Tren de Aragua is actively involved in human trafficking, drug smuggling, and arms dealing, posing an imminent threat not only to local communities but to law enforcement officers themselves.

   O’Keefe Media’s exposé comes on the heels of unsettling footage showing National Guard troops stationed at key transit points in New York City, including subway stations.

   Last week, Jason Goodman, the founder of Crowdsource the Truth, captured footage outside the Wolcott Hotel in Manhattan, which has been converted into a shelter for migrants.

   Goodman confronted U.S. Army personnel stationed outside the building, questioning their presence at the location. When asked why they were stationed at a hotel, one soldier bluntly responded, “We’re here at the request of the State of New York.”

   The leaked documents suggest that the Tren de Aragua presence is not limited to New York. The gang is also active in Denver, where they have been instructed to target law enforcement officers.

   The Gateway Pundit previously reported that a newly released video from Fox 31 Denver reporter Vicente Arenas has captured alarming footage of an armed group at another Aurora apartment complex.

   The gang members also threatened to kill the property managers at another apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado, according to a lawsuit filed by a law firm that represents the lender on the property.

     Armed Venezuelan gang memebers are stealing oil, copper wire, diesel fuel and catalyst elements from Texas oil fields in West Texas, according to a memo issued to employees.

     According to the memo obtained by LibsofTikTok, a Texas-based oil company issued a memo to employees warning them about security concerns from violent migrant gangs.

     Venezuelan gang members are using vehicles to run workers and witnesses off the road as they steal oil and diesel fuel.

     Per the memo:

     Industry peers and law enforcement in West Texas (WTX) are aware of a recent increase in organized criminal activity inclusive of violent crimes, gang activity and oil field thefts in and around WTX operational areas. Specifically, regional law enforcement and the FBI advised that gang members emanating from Cuba and Venezuela are organizing and working in concert to commit thefts within the Permian Basin. These individuals and groups are armed, violent in nature and will not hesitate to use force.

     Crimes associated with these groups include the theft of oil, diesel fuel, copper wire, and catalyst elements. Recent incidents have also included two assaults by water haulers who were attempting to steal oil from WTX oilfield sites. After the thieves were observed by witnesses who drove up to investigate, the thieves attempted to use their vehicles to run the witnesses off the road. In another incident, a thief, acting as a spotter and following a water hauler who had stolen oil, also attempted to run a witness off the road. There have been numerous reports of second vehicles acting as spotters for water haulers committing oil thefts.

     An industry peer provided the below snapshot of a video surveillance of an armed thief checking out an area before stealing diesel from the location.

   A spokesperson for Democratic Mayor Mike Johnston said the building has been “identified as a potential migrant shelter, but nothing is final and there’s no paperwork,” adding the city has been “looking for buildings that would be suited as an emergency shelter.”

   A spokesperson for Denver Public Schools, which owns the vacant building, told Fox News, “No determination has been made yet.”

   In January 2024, NBC News reported that nearly 40,000 migrants arrived in Denver in just the span of a year.

   A grim statistic when considering the city’s population is just over 710,000, making it the top destination per capita of newly arrived illegals crossing the U.S. southern border and traveling north by bus.

   Denver has struggled economically from the influx of illegals. In April, Democrat mayor Mike Johnston announced that funding to the city’s police department would be slashed by $8 million in order to take care of illegals.

   Thanks to Joe Biden’s open border policies of the last three and a half years, the US has been under threat from numerous bad actors. Among them, is the notorious Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang.

   The four TdA gang members who were arrested in Aurora, Colorado, in connection with a shooting and attempted murder in July have ties to the same gang that took over an apartment complex in the same city.

   Thanks to the Biden/Harris Regime, the four gang members, who were in the US illegally, were released by ICE in 2022 and 2023 with a “notice to appear.” The four men were originally apprehended in the Del Rio and Eagle Pass sectors of the US-Mexico border.

   Four Venezuelan national members of the Tren de Aragua gang arrested in Colorado have been confirmed as illegal aliens, per a statement from an ICE spokesperson to Fox News.

   The Venezuelan nationals, ranging in ages from 19 through 24, all crossed the southern border through Texas illegally in 2022 and 2023, under the Biden administration. All four were arrested by Aurora police and ICA has placed detainer requests on two of them.

   The four were arrested after a shooting which occurred near Nome Street Apartments, one of the apartment buildings in Aurora which had been overtaken by armed members of Tren de Aragua.

4. Belgium in Crisis: Moroccan Migrants Brutally Rape Young Man, Force Him to Shout ‘Long Live Morocco’ Amid Growing Islamic Infiltration

   Belgium has been rocked by yet another horrifying crime, directly tied to the consequences of open borders and unchecked Islamic migration. In the heart of Liège, two Islamic Moroccan nationals, Mohammed and Jalal, brutally raped a young man, filming the entire assault and forcing him to shout “Long live Morocco” at gunpoint. This vile attack took place in the toilets of a café in Carré, while the victim was out celebrating with friends.
   The two Muslim migrants, already benefiting from Europe’s lax immigration policies, lured the young man into the café’s toilets by grabbing him by the hood and silencing him as one displayed a firearm. Inside, both men beat, insulted, and raped the victim, degrading him further by forcing him to shout nationalist slogans in homage to their home country. The assault was recorded by the perpetrators, adding another layer of cruelty to their barbaric act.
   As reported previously by RAIR, one-third of Belgium’s population is of foreign origin, with the largest group being of Moroccan descent. Morocco, where 99% of the population is Muslim, has long been a key source of Islamic migration into Europe, leading to increased concerns about safety and integration. This demographic shift has left Belgium vulnerable to the kinds of violent acts seen in this case, where Islamic cultural and religious influences are brought to the forefront of these horrific crimes.
   This shocking crime, which occurred on November 25, 2023, at around 4 a.m., has left local residents enraged at the failure of left-wing leadership and the dangers posed by uncontrolled Islamic immigration. Both attackers were known to police but still roamed freely in Belgium, a glaring example of how open borders and failed immigration policies have left European citizens vulnerable to these kinds of heinous crimes.
   Despite the prosecution seeking harsher charges of kidnapping and arguing that the crime had clear “homophobic and racist motivations”, the court only ruled on the rape and filming of the assault, sentencing the two Moroccan migrants to five years in prison. Shockingly, part of their sentence was suspended under probation, allowing these dangerous criminals the opportunity to re-offend.
   This brutal crime serves as a chilling reminder of how dangerous jihadis, shielded by weak border policies, are allowed to victimize innocent citizens. How much longer will Europe tolerate these violent attacks in the name of open borders? Citizens across the continent are growing increasingly outraged, demanding an end to the unchecked Islamic immigration that continues to destroy the safety and security of European cities.

5. Court Rules Federal Machinegun Law Cannot Be Justified under Bruen

   A district court in Kansas has ruled that the federal law prohibiting the possession of “machineguns” failed the test set out in New York State Rifle & Pistol Ass’n, Inc. v. Bruen (2022). “The court finds that the Second Amendment applies to the weapons charged because they are ‘bearable arms’ within the original meaning of the amendment. The court further finds that the government has failed to establish that this nation’s history of gun regulation justifies the application of 18 U.S.C. § 922(o) to Defendant.”

   The case is United States v. Morgan, No. 23-10047-JWB (D. Kan. Aug. 21, 2024; the ruling was modified slightly on August 26). The defendant, Tamori Morgan, was charged with two counts of possessing a “machinegun” (a machinegun, and a full-auto switch “machinegun conversion device”) in violation of federal law.

   That law, 18 U.S.C. § 922(o), makes it a crime, with some exceptions, to possess a “machinegun,” defined to include “any weapon which shoots, is designed to shoot, or can be readily restored to shoot, automatically more than one shot, without manual reloading, by a single function of the trigger. The term shall also include the frame or receiver of any such weapon, any part designed and intended solely and exclusively, or combination of parts designed and intended, for use in converting a weapon into a machinegun, and any combination of parts from which a machinegun can be assembled if such parts are in the possession or under the control of a person.” Unlike other definitions in 26 U.S.C. § 5845, this lacks any reference to weapons that use the energy of an explosive to fire a projectile.
   Morgan moved to dismiss the charges based on Bruen, claiming the federal prohibition was unconstitutional, both facially and as applied to him.

   Beginning his analysis, Judge John Broomes observed that the “machinegun” definition was “extremely broad,” potentially encompassing “everything from an aircraft-mounted automatic cannon to a small hand-held taser or stun gun that can easily be placed inside a handbag and which shoots multi-shot bursts of electrical particles with a single pull of the trigger, or a fully automatic BB gun that shoots multiple rounds of metal projectiles using compressed air.”

   Unfortunately, it was the wide scope of this definition that doomed Morgan’s facial challenge, as that required him to show that the challenged law was unconstitutional in all of its applications. While the machinegun and switch Morgan was charged with possessing were “bearable arms” within the plain text of the Second Amendment, things like aircraft-mounted guns were not.

   On the remaining as-applied challenge, the government argued – citing language in District of Columbia v. Heller (2008) and United States v. Miller (1939) on “dangerous and unusual weapons” and military arms – that machineguns were not covered by the plain text of the Second Amendment. However, machineguns were not at issue in either case, and the court determined that the question of whether restrictions on military or “dangerous and unusual weapons” were consistent with historical firearm regulations was more properly addressed at the second step of the Bruen analysis. The weapons at issue satisfied the first Bruen step, being bearable arms covered by the Second Amendment’s plain text.

   To meet its burden under the second step, the government proffered only two potential historical analogs: old English common law, which prohibited riding or going armed with dangerous or usual weapons, and a North Carolina case from 1824 that recognized the offense of arming oneself “with dangerous and unusual weapons, in such a manner as will naturally cause a terror to the people.” The Supreme Court in Bruen considered that such English laws (dating back to the Middle Ages, “more than 450 years before the ratification of the Constitution, and nearly 550 years before the adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment”) were predicated on the manner in which arms were carried or displayed in public rather than the sole fact of being armed, and in any event, had “little bearing on the Second Amendment adopted in 1791.”

   Besides noting that “the government has barely tried to meet” its mandatory burden under step two, Judge Broomes ruled that neither example succeeded as a sufficiently relevant analog because the law at issue criminalized simple possession “without regard to whether the weapon is carried or otherwise employed.” The statute Morgan was charged under “requires no more than possession, and, more importantly in an as-applied challenge, the indictment in this case alleges nothing more.”

   Significantly, the court declined to make any finding that machineguns were “dangerous and unusual” or “highly unusual in society at large,” pointing to the fact that machine guns have been in existence for more than 100 years, with currently over 740,000 legally registered machineguns in the United States. “[E]ven today, it is perfectly legal for a person who has not been divested of his firearm rights under some other provision of law to acquire and possess a machinegun, so long as it was lawfully possessed by someone before the relevant date in 1986, and so long as he complies with the National Firearms Act’s requirements to obtain and possess the weapon. In that sense, machineguns are not unusual.”

   Everytown and other gun control groups reacted with dismay to the decision, and several news stories on the case highlighted the apparently sinister fact that Judge Broomes was appointed to the court by former President and current presidential candidate Donald Trump. Rather than “brazenly put[ting] the deadly agenda of the gun lobby over the safety of Kansans,” as Everytown alleges the Morgan court opted to do, it was clear that the prosecutors’ failure to discharge their evidentiary burden left the court with little choice, being obliged to apply the law as laid down by Bruen (“the Supreme Court has indicated that the Bruen analysis is not merely a suggestion”).

   Further, contrary to assertions that the “reckless” ruling allows “the possession of fully automatic weapons” and places “the safety of all Americans… in jeopardy,” as one op-ed claimed, the decision was limited to an as-applied challenge. The immediate outcome was the dismissal of the charges against Morgan without invalidating the federal machinegun law, meaning that for everyone else, machineguns are still illegal to possess outside of the limited circumstances permitted by federal law.

   Far from the ruling opening the door to mayhem and carnage in the streets, as the exaggerated reaction of the anti-gun crowd would suggest, a disinterested observer need only consider the situation in the gun control utopia of Chicago. A lawsuit that predates the ruling, filed by the City of Chicago in coordination with Everytown, admits that federal and state law notwithstanding, criminals (“extremely dangerous and irresponsible individuals”) have already been illegally installing machinegun conversion devices to make guns into fully automatic weapons with “military-grade firepower,” and using the guns to “cause chaos on public streets and roadways” and “in drive-by homicides and assaults.”

   As Vice President Kamala Harris doubles down on her campaign promises to implement an extreme gun control agenda if elected (including a ban on commonly-owned semi-automatic firearms), the ruling in the Morgan case is a welcome reminder that, in the words of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia in Heller, the “enshrinement of constitutional rights necessarily takes certain policy choices off the table.”

6. Armed Tulsa Man Stops Five Attackers

   As a political writer and solid believer in the right to armed self-defense, I spend some time each day researching defensive shooting episodes throughout the country in order to keep my finger on the pulse of the matter. And as a resident of a Tulsa, Oklahoma, suburb, I also keep a pretty close eye on the local news on a daily basis.

   So, when those two worlds meet—as they did recently—I can’t help but want to write about it.

   On Tuesday evening, a Tulsa homeowner used his firearm to stop five men who were attacking him in his front yard. The incident is a good example of a firearm being the “great equalizer” since a 5-on-1 fight would not normally be winnable by the lone party.

   According to the Tulsa Police Department (TPD), the homeowner and 47-year-old Marco Richardson had been involved in an ongoing argument that had already led to previous confrontations. Police say that on the night of the incident, Richardson, his son and three others exited two vehicles at the suspect’s house and rushed him.

   While the five men had the homeowner, who has not been identified, pinned against a vehicle in the yard and were assaulting him, he drew his gun and began shooting, hitting Richardson in the chest and also hitting another of his attackers.

   When police arrived at the scene they found Richardson lying in the yard surrounded by several people. He later died of his wounds at a local hospital, and the other man who was seriously wounded in the incident was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

   “The homeowner cooperated with officers, surrendering the pistol and providing a statement to investigators,” TPD reported in a Facebook post. “Based on witness statements and evidence collected, no charges were filed against the homeowner.”

   The investigation is ongoing and will be presented to the District Attorney’s Office for final disposition once completed

   Unfortunately for the journalism world, despite the fact that police clearly stated that no charges were filed against the homeowner and headlined the photo on the department Facebook page “Self-Defense Homicide,” the local CBS affiliate, newson6.com, repeatedly referred to the homeowner as the “shooter” and called the attacker who was killed the “victim.” It seems that even in Oklahoma, so-called “mainstream” media can still find some way to make positive use of a firearm sound negative.

8. Wisconsin police reported that a suspected Venezuelan gang member was arrested and charged with the sexual and physical assault of a woman.

   Alejandro Jose Coronel Zarate, 26, was charged with two counts of domestic battery, two counts of second-degree sexual assault, physically abusing a child, disorderly conduct, domestic disorderly conduct, and strangulation/suffocation, the Prairie du Chien Police Department announced in a post on Facebook.

   Zarate, who is suspected of being affiliated with a “violent transnational criminal organization” called Tren de Aragua, was arrested and booked into the Crawford County Jail after police officers responded to reports that a suspect was being “physically and sexually violent” with an adult woman.

   “A female juvenile was also located and found to have been injured during the physical altercation that took place,” police noted.

   I have long said that Covid 19 was launched by design by a small number of people in the globalist predator class for one reason and one reason only — as a beta test for the coming technocratic new world order.

   Now, we’ve got the World Economic Forum coming out and all but admitting that was exactly why the Covid-19 “pandemic” had to happen.

   The WEF gleefully posted the following snippet to the “My Carbon” page of its website where they make a pitch for so-called smart cities, which is just another term for 15-minute cities.

   The first of three “developments” that the WEF says must be in place before the world can evolve into its utopian vision of “smart and sustainable cities,” is compliance with restrictions on our freedom. It writes:

   1. COVID-19 was the test of social responsibility – A huge number of unimaginable restrictions for public health were adopted by billions of citizens across the world. There were numerous examples globally of maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, mass vaccinations and acceptance of contact-tracing applications for public health, which demonstrated the core of individual social responsibility.

   They were testing us. That’s what Covid was all about. They wanted to see how many of us would give up our individual freedom and individual sovereignty by complying with a “new normal” that consisted of restrictions bordering on the absurd. Why, for instance was it “safe” to shop at Lowe’s or Home Depot but unsafe to shop at a small business or attend church? Why was it OK to go to strip clubs in Michigan but you couldn’t buy seeds for a garden?

      It’s beyond my understanding. Family and friends of family fled Cuba: you couldn’t find a more anti-commie cohort. Ted Cruz, an exceptional example. Same more recently with Venezuelan emigrants.

      An Israeli I met recently told me about her mother and aunt from Romania, how they survived concentration camp, the only ones from a large extended family. They decided it would be prudent to split – one to Israel, the other to Venezuela. Turns out, it was a good decision.

      Wonder about this California communist’s relationship with his family. How could he turn out this way? It’s just strange.

    The debate between former President Donald Trump and Kamala Harris is fast approaching.

    Harris is now in debate camp, and the word is that some of her strategy sessions weren’t going well and had “careened sideways.” As we noted, she was having fits about the debate rules and trying to blame Trump for rules Biden had previously pushed.

    Given that she got busted turning pages of what sounded like notes or a script during a recent radio interview, you have to think things are looking pretty sketchy in a debate where she’s not supposed to have notes. Unless she gets the questions ahead of time, she may have a tough time.

    Yes, Kamala Harris Is, in Fact, Screwed by the Debate Rules

    People remember that Joe Biden imploded in the first debate. But Trump also did very well under the same rules that are going to be employed on Tuesday. If he has the same kind of performance, he’s going to be in a good position, especially if Harris is hampered by her own issues and glitches out while speaking extemporaneously.

    Whatever she does, even if she falls off the stage, I fully expect most of the liberal media to say how she triumphed and how Trump “lied”–or paint something he says as wrong/bad/racist. We’re constantly seeing the media do that with things like the “fine people” and “bloodbath” hoaxes.

    But former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has issued a warning. He anticipates that Trump will “run circles around” Harris. But that isn’t the only thing here. Prepare for “strange things” to happen before November, he warns, if Harris “tanks.”

    “They’ve already sued him, prosecuted him, tried to kick him off the ballot, and swapped out his opponent. All of it could be just a preview of what’s to come,” he said on Fox’s “Hannity” show Friday night:

    Not to mention there was also an assassination attempt in which Trump was shot.

    Sean Hannity asked Ramaswamy if he was talking about another candidate switch out. Ramaswamy didn’t think that was likely, saying “But I do think we have a machine that we’re up against that has already demonstrated that it is going to go to great measures to defeat Donald Trump.”

    Ramaswamy noted how the Dems negotiated for a really early first debate and once they saw Biden underperform, they swapped him out. “I think we have to learn from those lessons, that they’re still going to have many more tricks up their sleeves.”

    He did not outline any of the “tricks” that he thinks might be pulled. But there is one obvious move they haven’t played yet. If Kamala tanks badly, they may pull something big out, assuming they can. That’s making Biden resign and giving her the Oval Office before November, so she can have the title going into the election.

    That could give her a bump in the polls, although it could also put her more on the hook for any bad decisions. They’re running out of time on that option, and I don’t think that Biden [or more accurately, Jill] wants to give up the time he has left in office. That’s why he hasn’t already done it. They could try to move on the 25th Amendment, claiming he’s “gotten worse,” but the clock is ticking down on that too.

    Bottom line, the folks in power don’t want to release control and we need to be ready for anything. They’ve already thrown out a lot and failed.
