Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

      CNN is now reporting that the Trump Camp was made aware of an Iranian assassination plot against Trump before Saturday’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

      According to the report, Secret Service ramped up security after receiving intel about the assassination plot.

      Saturday’s would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks had no connection to the Iranian assassination plot, according to CNN.

      “Secret Service learned of the increased threat from this threat stream,” the official told CNN. “NSC directly contacted USSS at a senior level to be absolutely sure they continued to track the latest reporting. USSS shared this information with the detail lead, and the Trump campaign was made aware of an evolving threat. In response to the increased threat, Secret Service surged resources and assets for the protection of former President Trump. All of this was in advance of Saturday.”

      The Trump campaign refused to comment on the threat.

      “We do not comment on President Trump’s security detail. All questions should be directed to The United States Secret Service,” the Trump camp told CNN.

      CNN reported:

      US authorities obtained intelligence from a human source in recent weeks on a plot by Iran to try to assassinate Donald Trump, a development that led to the Secret Service increasing security around the former president in recent weeks, multiple people briefed on the matter told CNN.

      There’s no indication that Thomas Matthew Crooks, the would-be assassin who attempted to kill the former president on Saturday, was connected to the plot, the sources said.

      The existence of the intelligence threat from a hostile foreign intelligence agency — and the enhanced security for Trump — raises new questions about the security lapses at the Saturday rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and how a 20-year-old man managed to access a nearby rooftop to fire shots that injured the former president.

      If the intel report is true, the Secret Service did not ramp up its security at Saturday’s rally.

      Tensions are running high after an out-of-town police officer fatally shot an individual early Tuesday afternoon near the RNC perimeter security in Milwaukee, according to local law enforcement sources, per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

      Brian Steel, president of the Fraternal Order of Police Capitol City Lodge No. 9, confirmed the involvement of Columbus police in the Milwaukee shooting.

      The incident occurred approximately 1.2 miles from Fiserv Forum, the primary venue for the RNC, at the intersection of 14th and Vliet Streets.

      BREAKING: A source close to police says an officer from Ohio police fatally shot someone near the intersection of Vliet and 13th street.

      According to WISN 12 News, witnesses reported that two men were involved in a confrontation in King Park, during which one of the individuals pulled out a knife.

      The situation escalated rapidly when a significant number of police officers, including Secret Service agents, responded to the scene. Witnesses claim that the man with the knife was shot by several officers, though official confirmation from police is pending.

      WISN reported:

      Witnesses say the man with the knife was fired on by numerous officers. This has not yet been confirmed by police.

      The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office has not confirmed if it has responded to the scene, but multiple people have told WISN 12 News the person shot has died.

      The officers involved in the shooting are not from the Milwaukee Police Department but are from Columbus, Ohio.

      A statement from the Columbus Fraternal Order of Police says no officers were injured.

      Police from 63 departments in 24 states and Washington, D.C., along with 44 Wisconsin agencies are in Milwaukee this week for the Republican National Convention.

      WISN 12 News Political Director Matt Smith talked to Mayor Cavalier Johnson at the RNC who said he was just being briefed on the situation.

      The incident itself does not appear to be related to the RNC.

      According to WISN 12 News sources, the police line has been expanded to 17th and Vliet streets.

      The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that “Crowds have been gathering at the scene. More than 100 officers have been seen in the area.”

      As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump was nearly assassinated Saturday night during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, by a 20-year-old Democrat donor named Thomas Matthew Crooks.

      Subsequent reports have revealed the numerous avoidable failures by the Secret Service to protect Trump and take out the gunman. Humiliating footage of petite females struggling to cover the 45th president and escort him out of harm’s way has also emerged.

      Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL), a former Army sniper and member of the 82nd Airborne Division and Joint Special Operations Command, was a guest Tuesday morning on CNN to discuss the aftermath of the assassination attempt and the security failures involved. But he ended up angering host Kate Bolduan when he dared to suggest the possibility that the whole incident was a set-up to get Trump killed.

      MILLS: You know, it almost seems to me, I think that the investigation is necessary at this point within Congress, not just the FBI, not just others,” said Mills. “You know, I look back at — I’m thinking all right, you know, for an individual, if you looked at the escalations and how they are trying to approach him. Let’s just say that it was like, okay, first we want to censor and silence you, then we want to indict and imprison you, now we are attempting to kill you…

      BOLDUAN (annoyed): Whoa whoa whoa, let’s slow down! I’m hearing two things from you: I don’t want to jump ahead of things, but I’m also hearing you jumping ahead of things.

      MILLS: Well, actually, I’m just looking at all the different possible capabilities. One of the things as a military member … one of the things as a person who has run in the special operations communities before, one of the people who’s actually done this is that you look at all the potential analysis, right?

      BOLDUAN: Dial it back. Do not blame this on Joe Biden.

      MILLS: Well, actually, I didn’t say Joe Biden.

      BOLDUAN: Who’s the ‘they,’ then? Let’s be very specific.

      MILLS: That’s what the investigation has to do. Was it local law enforcement that made the mistakes, or was there something to it? Were there other types of things that we need to be analyzing or looking at, providing analysis?

      My point is when something so significant, that hasn’t happened in decades…My point is this: from someone who has actually conducted these (operations), these are not difficult advances…This is about looking at your surroundings; what are the actual elements that I need to be looking at in terms of mitigating threats…

      BOLDUAN: So you are saying this is so basic, that how big this screw-up was, that’s what leading your brain down this road?

      MILLS: That’s exactly right…

      BOLDUAN: But Congressman, Tom Emmer was just on. He said to me it is too early to talk about who is at fault here…

      MILLS: That is why an investigation is necessary.

      BOLDOUN (exasperated): Is it not dangerous, it is not reckless to even be throwing around the word ‘intentionally’?

      This is not the first time Mills has floated the possibility that at least part of the Secret Service’s security failures may have been intentional. Here is what he said two nights ago on Jesse Watters Primetime:

      You could literally just look quickly, glance and know from the reference point, whether it be a building, whether it be a lone tree, whether it be a parking lot, maybe it’s a road. Bottom line is that this is massive negligence to the point of me speculating on what was intentional and what wasn’t.

    Jürgen Elsässer’s Compact magazine has been published in Germany for more than ten years. Now Germany’s Interior Minister Nancy Faeser (SPD) has banned the patriotic magazine, as reported by the Tagesschau news programme. Of course, the latter did not skimp on the usual buzzwords. The magazine, which welcomed both right-wing and left-wing positions for discourse, was repeatedly accused of being “right-wing extremist”.
    Both Jürgen Elsässer’s home and that of his wife and other Compact employees were searched. The reason given was that the magazine is directed against the “free democratic basic order”. Compact has repeatedly called for referendums and direct democracy.

Gloriane Blais ( a health and policies lawyer who was disbarred after speaking out about the Covid-19 vaccines and advocating for her clients) included Prime Minister Justine Trudeau, Ontario Premier Doug Ford, former Ontario Deputy Premier Christine Elliott, and 32 others. Blais explained that she is suing politicians and ministers in their private capacities so that they are personally held accountable for their lies and will have to pay out of their own pockets.

    State of Kansas files lawsuit against Pfizer alleging it misled the public about the safety and effectiveness of the Covid-19 vaccine.

    US Court of Appeals rules Covid-19 vaccine mandate violated fundamental rights, failed to prevent transmission, and therefore, forced a medical procedure on individuals. In a June 7, 2024, decision, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit reversed a lower court’s ruling in a high-profile case involving the Los Angeles Unified School District’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate for its employees. The case, which has garnered significant attention, was brought forward by the Health Freedom Defense Fund and several individual plaintiffs, and may set a precedent for the overall constitutionality of the vaccine mandate.

    Two Canadian doctors have just been suspended in an ivermectin sting operation. last month, Saskabush suspended Dr. Tshipita Kabongo, with #$44,783 penalty, and Ontario suspended Dr. Jeremiah Hadwen with a $6,000 penalty and an order for RE-EDUCATION TRAINING. The sting operation consisted of a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada investigator going under cover as a “Freedom Convoy” trucker, covertly recording doctors prescribing ivermectin off-label.
