Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    In the wake of the unconstitutional verdict against former President Donald Trump, Kash Patel, a former Trump administration official, is urging Republican lawmakers to take a bold stand against perceived judicial and prosecutorial misconduct.

    Patel’s statement, made on Truth Social, demands lawmakers investigate financial gains made by the family of Judge Juan Merchan and examine connections between the Manhattan District Attorney’s office and the Biden White House.

    “Congress: Subpoena the bank records for Merchan’s daughter- find out how much money she has made for her family since her father unlawfully stayed on the case, and how much money she will make as a direct result of this unconstitutional verdict,” Patel said.

    Last month, Trump filed a motion requesting Judge Merchan be recused because of his daughter’s political work.

    Celebrities and Athletes Flood Social Media With Posts Supporting Trump Following Guilty Verdict

    Moments after Trump was found guilty, social media was flooded with celebrities, politicians, athletes, and the everyday American showing their support for Trump.

    Following the verdict, NFL Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher, who played for the Chicago Bears, took to Instagram and wrote: “It doesn’t matter how many fake charges they find him guilty of, he’s still got my vote.”

    Antonio Brown, a former wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, also supported Trump and shared on X a photo of Trump’s mugshot with the caption, “Still gonna win the election.”

    Country star Jason Aldean wrote: “Scary times in our country right now, man. When a former POTUS gets treated like this by our justice system, what does that mean for the rest of us??? If there was ever a time to speak up, ITS NOW!

    Trump was accused of paying porn star Stormy Daniels, AKA, Stephanie Clifford, ‘hush payments’ through his then-attorney Michael Cohen in a scheme to silence her and stop the story about their alleged affair from being published in the National Enquirer.

    Yoo included Hunter Biden, who does not hold any office, in his list of people Republican DAs should prosecute

    JOHN YOO (LAW PROFESSOR, UC BERKELEY): I think for all of us — all of us Americans, it’s not as important what happens to President Trump as a person. It’s — what’s important is what happens to the presidency and our constitutional system. What does this mean for future presidents? And the weaker that these cases are, the weaker that [Manhattan District Attorney Alvin] Bragg’s case is, the weaker that [Judge Juan] Merchan allows a case like this to go forward and get to the jury, the bigger the door is open for any DA in the future to bring charges against a president from the opposite party that they don’t like. That kind of harassment of presidents is going to cause them to worry about their legal liability when what they should be doing is focusing on making the toughest decisions on behalf of the American people and on behalf of protecting the country. And do yes, I really do worry. And I think that the only way to put a stop to this, sadly, is for some Republican DAs to prosecute Democratic officeholders, Democratic executive branch officials, Hunter Biden, maybe even Joe Biden. That’s the only way, I think, to put a stop to this. Otherwise, what we’ve seen is a crossing of a constitutional Rubicon where suing presidential predecessors is just going to be the norm.

    If you’re a Republican running for office, you can just go ahead and throw away all of your elegant little policy proposals for this or that corporate exclusion or tax subsidy. Give me a list of which Democrat officials you’re going to put in prison, or get lost.

    There’s only one way to deal with nuclear war, which is what Democrats have unleashed, and that is mutually assured destruction. Democrats declared war on our entire system of justice and the rule of law, and our only options are victory or defeat. I intend to win. Do you?
