Ric Grenell exposes Jack Smith as the king of sleaze

Ric Grenell, President Trump’s former ambassador to Germany, and Director of National Intelligence, knows a thing or two about Jack Smith, having lived in Europe when Smith was active in prosecuting war crimes in The Hague.
Now that Smith has been caught tampering with evidence in his case against President Trump, Grenell’s put out a devastating series of tweets about Smith’s history of dishonest behavior.

Trump was out sealing the deal for peace in that war-ravaged land and Smith, despite hearing that peace was at hand, went ahead with the prosecutions just ahead of the Trump signing, just to Get Trump, and too bad if no peace happened. Anything but allow Trump to take credit for yet another peace deal. Smith seems to be a fan of more war, more swamp consultant contracts, and who cares about legal ethics, let alone peace.

An Australian Navy helicopter pilot was forced to take evasive action after a Chinese military fighter jet detonated flares close to his aircraft’s course as it was operating in international waters near South Korea.

The government of Israel confirmed on Sunday that it had discovered a terrorist “Hamas command and control center” in a complex run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), the U.N.’s agency for Palestinian issues.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israel Security Agency (ISA), or Shin Bet, issued a joint statement confirming an airstrike Subday on the facility, which they said intelligence confirmed was being used as “a staging ground for multiple attacks on IDF troops located in Gaza’s central corridor in recent weeks.”
The strike reportedly occurred shortly before Israeli officials confirmed that the country had begun dropping flyers to civilians in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, urging them to evacuate before a military operation against Hamas.

A group of Republican senators has issued a stern warning to Karim Khan, the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), over potential arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other senior Israeli officials.
The proposed warrants are reportedly connected to allegations of war crimes during the recent Israeli-Hamas conflict.
The ICC, headquartered in The Hague, is said to be nearing the decision despite Israel’s non-membership and non-recognition of the court. Since the Palestinian territories were admitted as a member state in 2015, the ICC has asserted jurisdiction over alleged war crimes committed by both Hamas and Israeli forces in Gaza.
Karim Khan, the ICC Chief Prosecutor, previously claimed that the court has the “authority” to investigate any such crimes and aims to hold those accountable who are found in violation of international law.

Caroline Glick: According to all of the media reports, CIA Director Bill Burns gave Hamas a guarantee that the U.S. will force Israel to accept a permanent ceasefire. This means that the Biden administration has totally abandoned Israel. It’s using the hostage talks to force Israel to surrender to Hamas.
Then on Sunday news broke that the Biden administration cut off ammunition supplies to Israel as they attempt to appease the growing anger among the left of the Democratic Party over America’s support for the war against Hamas.
For the record, this act by the the Biden administration is clearly illegal. According to Bonnie Glick – It’s a violation of the Impoundment Control Act. Tying the hands of the IDF when they need munitions, appropriated by Congress, to end the war is against the law.

Russia Threatens UK With Strikes on British Targets
Russia on Monday warned the United Kingdom that if British weapons were used by Ukraine to attack Russian territory, Moscow could respond by striking British military facilities and equipment in Ukraine and beyond.
The warning was issued to Nigel Casey, the British ambassador to Russia, by the Russian Foreign Ministry. The ministry said Casey was called for a formal protest after U.K. Foreign Secretary David Cameron said last week that Ukraine should be free to strike targets on Russian territory with weapons it receives from London.

Last week, the House of Representatives voted in favor of the new anti-antisemitism bill, which adopts a new definition of antisemitism and provides the government with a way to punish wrong think about Jews and Israel, including anyone who suggests that Jews control the government. According to our government, the way to dispel the myth that Jews control the government is for the government to pass a law that punishes anyone who suggests that Jews control the government.
Under the law, if the Department of Education finds “antisemitism” at an institution that receives federal funding – which is virtually every institution – the government can coerce the school to deal with it by whatever means necessary or else risk losing federal dollars or worse, the Department of Justice will sue the institution into oblivion. This sounds great if the awesome power of the government is directed at Hamas sympathizers threatening Jewish students and causing schools to impose COVID-style lockdowns. The Patriot Act also sounded great when they told us it was for our protection. How is that one working out?
Consistent with the theme of federal criminal statutes, the new definition of “antisemitism” is nebulous enough to apply to nobody and broad enough to apply to everybody. This is perfect for a Department of Justice that enjoys selectively prosecuting its political enemies and turning a blind eye to its political allies. The bill is also right in line with the subtle agenda to gradually erode our free speech; the law does not criminalize speech, it merely encourages schools to destroy the lives of students and faculty who express an unpopular opinion.

For good measure, this latest attack on the First Amendment adds a new attack on religion also. The new definition includes “Using the symbols and images associated with classic antisemitism (e.g., claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterize Israel or Israelis.” Accordingly, a Christian Bible study group on a college campus studying a disfavored passage could violate federal law.
While Jews may be cheering on the outlawing of sections of the Christian Bible, they should not be throwing stones in glass synagogues. This past week, synagogues around the world read from Leviticus 18:22 which states: “You shall not lie with a man as one lies with a woman, it is an abomination.” That passage is also read on Yom Kippur. When the protestor tents are eventually cleared from the quad, how long before a new definition of “homophobia” is added to ban Leviticus from college campuses?
With all of the multitude of federal hate crime laws already on the books, somehow the Department of Justice was powerless to prevent the radicals at UCLA from beating a Jewish woman unconscious during these recent protests. Like the BLM riots that devastated the country – coincidentally at around the same time four years ago – these campus riots are allowed to flourish by the federal government, not because of a lack of criminal statutes, but because of a lack of political will to end them. If the same federal government that is still hunting down and arresting senior citizens who peacefully walked into the Capitol over three years ago on January 6, 2021, would apply anything close to that standard to the pro-Hamas protestors, the riots would have ended on the first day.
This antisemitism law is just another superfluous “hate crime” law. At best, these laws waste federal resources like the dozens of FBI agents sent to investigate a piece of rope because NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace thought it resembled a noose. At worst, it provides a means for the federal government to arrest Eva Edl, an 82-year-old holocaust survivor, who peacefully sat in front of an abortion clinic for two hours and now faces six months in prison.

We do not need new federal laws that apply to classes of people based on immutable characteristics. That is what the Nazis did. Ironically, the new antisemitism definition includes comparing government policies to Nazi policies. But the Nazis only became a threat to the Jews when they became the government, and as Holocaust survivor Vera Sharav warned, if you cannot call out a government’s Nazi tendencies in their infancy, you cannot prevent them from metastasizing. The Holocaust did not start with concentration camps. It ended with them.
This antisemitism law is bad for Jews and bad for America. Those cheering on this and other new laws that can just as easily be turned against them, should remember the famous poem that applies to all government: First they came for [fill in the blank] and I did not speak out because I wasn’t one of them. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.

The Taliban quickly took control of Bagram Air Base, which is only 30 miles north of Kabul, on August 15th and released thousands of terrorists held at its prison. The Americans and Afghans left the Taliban military equipment, uniforms, rations and even sports drinks.
The ISIS suicide bomber who murdered 13 US servicemen and women and 169 Afghans was released by the Taliban from the Bagram Base prison. Biden abandoned the country to the Taliban.

US troops are trapped in the country allegedly without water and medicine. The Army was likely hiding this to protect itself from embarrassment. Deployed Americans are in limbo and unable to do their jobs and the Biden State Department is completely outmaneuvered once again.

Even back then, all my Columbia classmates wanted “Death to America.” We were taught “Cloward-Piven”- the plan to destroy America, the US economy, the great American middle class, and of course, capitalism.
Who was my college classmate back at Columbia? Obama.
The weaponization of government and persecution of President Trump. That’s not brain-dead Biden. It’s all Obama.
That all started with Obama’s presidency. Obama used the NSA and CIA to spy on Trump and then frame Trump with fake “Russian Collusion.” Just like the fake trial going on in New York right now. Take note President Trump. This is Obama going after you.
Obama also used the IRS to try to destroy his critics and opponents. I’m a witness. I was one of Obama’s victims.
Obama used the IRS to try to destroy my life. The IRS was his personal goon squad. Obama used the IRS to threaten, intimidate and terrorize conservatives and conservative non-profits.
When I went public and exposed Obama on Fox News, guess what happened next? Hundreds of GOP donors who had written checks to Mitt Romney’s campaign, contacted me to say they were also victims of IRS attacks only days after writing a check to Romney. You know what this means?

It’s all happened exactly as I warned. Except Trump interrupted the plan, so it came four years later. Everything I predicted is happening right now.
The list goes on and on. DEI. CRT. ESG. Green New Deal. Transgender brainwashing. This split with Israel. All of this started under Obama.
For all intents and purposes, Obama is the real President of the United States. He’s giving the orders. He’s coordinating this chaos and crisis.
I know my old college classmate, better than anyone in the world. I know how he plays the game. I’ve correctly warned about and predicted every move he’s made since 2009.
If I were Obama, what would I do next?
Trump looks unbeatable at this point. The latest Rasmussen poll has him up 10 points over Biden. With third party candidates included, Trump is up 12 points.
The latest Gallop poll shows Biden is the least popular president in 70 years- lower than Nixon or Jimmy Carter.
The latest YouGov/Economist poll shows 68% of Americans believe the country is “out of control” under Biden.
The latest CNN poll shows Biden’s rating on the economy and inflation is among the lowest ever seen- 34% and 29%.
Read the tea leaves. It’s all over for Biden. He can’t beat Trump. There will be no 4th term of Obama. Trump will reverse everything Obama and Biden did. And he will put the bad guys in prison for treason. So, if I was Obama, I’d roll the dice…
I’d replace Biden at the Democrat convention in August with Michelle Obama.
Trust me, it’s coming. Democrats are desperate and they have nothing to lose. The results can’t be any worse than Biden. Their choice is a desperate “Hail Mary” with Michelle, or a surefire loss to Trump.
How will they do it? Who knows? Maybe they’ll force Biden to announce his retirement due to health issues. Maybe he will come to the decision by himself, for the good of the party.
Maybe they’ll replace Kamala as VP with Michelle Obama, use Michelle to try to win back disaffected Democrat voters, and then rig the election even bigger than 2020. Then, if Biden is re-elected, he will quickly step aside. Instantly, Michelle is president, without ever actually being elected, and without the scrutiny of being at the top of the ticket.
I don’t know how they’ll do it. But I’m certain the plan is in the works right now. Because Michelle on the ticket is the only way to try to get back some of the young voters and black/Latino voters who have moved to Trump.
Obama needs a 4th term to finish the job he started- the destruction of the United States. One way, or the other, I’m betting Biden will be gone soon. My best guess is Michelle will be the replacement.
This is my warning to President Trump: BE PREPARED.

AG Yost: Student protesters could face felony charges because of 1953 Ohio anti-mask law
In a letter sent Monday to Ohio’s public university presidents, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost warned of an obscure law that could affect students who were arrested during recent on-campus protests.
“In our society, there are few more significant career-wreckers than a felony charge,” Yost said in the letter. “I write to inform your student bodies of an Ohio law that, in the context of some behavior during the recent pro-Palestinian protests, could have that effect.”
Ohio Revised Code 3761.12 makes it a felony to commit a crime with two or more people while wearing white caps, masks or other disguise. “Even a misdemeanor, such as trespass,” Yost added.

Canadian Government Aims to Destroy Browning Hi-Power Pistols

David Pugiliese, the reporter on Canadian Forces and military issues, has been following the saga of replacing and destroying the Browning Hi-Power pistols, which have been used by the Canadian military since WWII. Most of the pistols were part of a production run done at the end of the war. The Canadian military has been working on the project for many years. At this time the Canadian Forces has 11,896 Browning handguns in its inventory, National Defence spokesman Dan Le Bouthillier told this newspaper. Of those, 1,323 are non-functioning.
As the Browning 9mm pistol is currently in use, the details of a disposal plan still have to be worked out, Le Bouthillier explained. “However at this time it is anticipated that given the age and wear of the pistol fleet as well as the fact that the Browning is a restricted firearm and the magazine is a prohibited device, disposal will be through destruction by smelting,” he added.
The magazines of a typical Browning Hi-Power, put into production in 1935, typically hold 13 rounds. They are forbidden in Canada. The highly restrictive Firearms Act of 1995 was passed into law as an extreme mass murder in Montreal.
A semi-automatic rifle was used to commit the murders. The murder was committed by Gamil Rodrigue Garbi, who changed his name to Marc Lépine because he hated his father. His father had repeatedly beaten the boy before the family broke up when Gamil was 7. Gamil changed his name to Marc Lépine when he was 13.
Handguns with barrels of less than 105 mm (4 1/8 inches) were banned, as were magazines that held more than 10 rounds. No handgun was used in the mass murder. The barrel length was specifically crafted in the law to ban most handguns. Browning Hi-Powers have a barrel of 4.7 inches or 119 mm.
On April 24, 2024, David Pugiliese, an Ottowa Citizen, received an email confirming the long-held plans:
The Canadian military plans to destroy 11,000 of its Second World War-era pistols by the end of this year.
The move comes as the Canadian Forces confirmed it has received the final deliveries of a new 9-mm pistol as part of a $19.4-million project.

The military purchased the Sig Sauer P320, which is being distributed to units. It replaces the Browning Hi-Power pistol that has been used by the Canadian Forces for decades.
The Canadian Forces Browning Hi-Power pistols are described, on the net, by Canadian Military veterans as “worn out” “antiquated”, heavy, and lacking spare parts. This may be so. However, pistols are one of the least fired firearms in any military, given their specialized role.
The service life of a Hi-Power should be 30,000 – 50,000 rounds. As these pistols are nearly seventy years old, they would have to have been shot about 500 rounds per year to be worn out. This is not an unreasonable figure, if ten people were qualified on each pistol each year. Several veterans said most of the problems they experienced with the pistols were cured when a new magazine was substituted for the old magazine.
There is a market for these historical guns, especially in the United States. It would ordinarily not be too hard for the Canadian government to sell them to an American distributor. However, with the hard commitment of both the Trudeau administration in Canada, and the Biden administration in the United States, to proclaim the ownership of pistols or “weapons of war” by anyone except a government, to be an intrinsic evil, such an eventuality is extremely remote.
The historic pistols will be melted down as a sacrifice to the gods of governmental power.
ABC Crime Drama Stigmatizes Legal Gun Ownership

It’s not a surprise or shock to hear that mainstream media or other power brokers in the entertainment industry are continuing to push an anti-gun narrative. What’s been seemingly popping up more and more though is the stigmatization of legal firearm ownership and carry in entertainment. In a post-Bruen world, the goalposts have moved, and since what was once illegal or not reachable in certain jurisdictions – like Los Angeles – is now perfectly attainable, the progressive cabal has resorted to making social statements about perfectly legal activities. A recent episode of ABC’s “The Rookie” took a shot at law-abiding firearm carry.

First things first, I’ve never watched “The Rookie.” If you had to imagine what kind of TV this journalist/commentator watches, I can assure you it’s fairly boring and anachronistic – but not as bad as a lot of the garbage pumped out today. I’ve reached the age where I say things like, “back in my day…” So, “The Rookie” is not on my watch list, and I don’t even have basic cable TV. Maybe I have regular network television, but don’t care to know or look. I did, however, drop the $1.99 on season 6 episode 7 of “The Rookie,” to stream it, which aired just last week on April 30th, 2024.
“The Rookie” is an ABC crime drama that takes place in Los Angeles. The episode, “Crushed,” has the following description on ABC’s webpage for the show, “When two teenagers go missing, it is up to the entire team to find the girls and uncover the truth about their disappearance; Lopez and Harper search for the perfect nanny.”
Who are Harper and Lopez? They’re both police officers. And parents. As far as where else they fit in the dynamic of the show, who cares.
Why are two characters in search of “the perfect nanny”? Lopez fired her nanny towards the beginning of the episode because a gun fell out of the nanny’s purse. The way ABC set the stage made the nanny look like a rogue cowboy. A purse got moved and the gun fell out of it, not in a holster or anything.
If there were to be a complaint here, it’d revolve around ways a person could achieve responsible off-body carry. But that’s not how it all went down. “What the hell is a gun doing in your purse?” Lopez asked the nanny. She replied, “It’s for protection. I have a permit.” Lopez declared, “Not in my house you don’t.”

The topic popped up two more times. Once during a dialogue between Lopez and a coworker – maybe Harper, but who cares – which is as follows:
Coworker: “..the way she brought a gun into your house.”
Lopez: “I know.”
Coworker: “With your children there…”
Lopez: “I know.”
Coworker: “And you’re a cop.”
Lopez: “She knows.”
During the first instance, when the gun was found, and that second dialogue, paints the picture that cops don’t want law-abiding citizens to carry firearms. At no time did the topic of the manner of carry come up. Not at all. Just that the “licensed” individual had the audacity to have a gun. “And you’re a cop,” somehow makes the law-abiding – maybe irresponsible – gun owner even more bad? What’s Lopez being a cop have to do with any of this? Or is it because only cops are supposed to have guns?
One other part of the episode where the topic pops up is when a babysitter was found out to be leaving children unattended. The artful writers at ABC sewed together these plot elements with Lopez saying, “Can you imagine coming home to find your kids alone? Makes my nanny seem downright responsible.”
I’d be happy to argue about off-body carry and whether or not the firearm should have been in a holster of one sort or another. That’s a valid discussion to have. But, to reiterate, that’s not the gripe with the nanny having a gun. It was the gun possession…period.
The entertainment industry and the progressive gun-grabbing cabal, along with mainstream media, are conspiring to stigmatize lawful firearm carry. Instead of showing a responsible citizen carrying a firearm, they rather make the case that this lawful activity is just so frowned upon that the individual should not be entrusted to watch children. The background-checked licensed citizens are not to be trusted. Nor employed. Nor respected. They’re subhuman.

Brynn Malone and Natalie Callaghan, the writers of this particular episode, should tread lightly when stigmatizing the exercise of a Constitutionally protected right. After all, their occupation hinges around the exercise of the First Amendment.
Further, ABC president, Kimberly Godwin, should hear your opinions – if you have any – about this type of bigoted treatment of gun owners via negative portrayals and stereotypes. Except, thirty minutes prior to writing this, she announced she’s stepping down – in disgrace. Debra O’Connell is slated to take over, so maybe we should talk to her via ABC.
Seeing this kind of garbage is nothing new. I don’t suspect that things will change soon. It took decades for bigots to accept Brown v. Board of Ed and it may take decades for similar bigots to accept NYSRPA v. Bruen. Like the bigots during the civil rights battles of the 50’s and 60’s, the anti-gunners will be on the wrong side of history.
I certainly won’t be tuning into any more episodes of “The Rookie” anytime soon. Not unless I get another tip about some nonsense that’s going to cost me another $1.99 to stream this trash. And while we’re discussing that, hat tip to my buddy Eric from the Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners for sending me this lead. Ukraine is facing a potential outright defeat by the Russians this year, the former commander of the UK’s Joint Forces Command has warned.
With the Russian invasion of Ukraine continuing into its third year, the badly outnumbered and outgunned Ukraine is facing a “serious risk” of having to admit defeat to Russia, General Sir Richard Barrons told the BBC. there is “a serious risk” of Ukraine losing the war this year.
The former head of the Joint Forces Command, now known as Strategic Command (StratCom), warned that pessimism may set in among the people of Ukraine and that the public may come to feel that the country “can’t win”.
“And when it gets to that point, why will people want to fight and die any longer, just to defend the indefensible?” Gen Barrons questioned.

In a demonstration that America’s outdoors and recreational shooting sports pastimes still bring people together, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 615 in a bipartisan vote, sending the Protecting Access for Hunters and Anglers Act over to the U.S. Senate for consideration. The bill is strongly supported by NSSF and would require the Secretaries of the Interior and Agriculture to provide site-specific peer-reviewed scientific data that demonstrates traditional lead ammunition or fishing tackle is causing detrimental wildlife population impacts before prohibiting their use on federal lands.
That’s pretty straight forward and it certainly makes sense to “follow the science” before implementing any detrimental policy.
Except that’s not what has happened under President Joe Biden’s administration. Actually, the exact opposite has taken place.
U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) spoke out against H.R. 615 in a House Rules Committee hearing prior to the legislation’s passage. During her testimony, the progressive firebrand recited a false statement that is demonstrably proven untrue by any examination of the data available about traditional lead ammunition.
Thankfully cooler and more knowledgeable heads prevailed and the bill, sponsored by outdoor advocate and House Natural Resources Committee member Rep. Rob Wittman (R-Va.), is moving on.
Poison Hysterics
There’s hardly a gun control restriction that wouldn’t garner Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s support and a ban on tradition lead ammunition is just that – an anti-hunting, anti-gun restriction that would have dramatic negative impacts on wildlife conservation efforts.
The congresswoman pleaded with committee members.
“H.R. 615 would prohibit the Bureau of Land Management, the Forest Service and the Fish and Wildlife Service from prohibiting or regulating lead ammunition or tackle on federal lands and waters – even though alternatives do exist that do not poison everything in sight,” Rep. Ocasio-Cortez read. Republicans on the Natural Resources Committee, she said, “are putting forward an agenda brought to you by G.O.P. – guns, oil and polluters.”
The problem with Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s argument is that her so-called “facts” come from gun control activists and anti-hunting apostles set on eliminating hunting and restricting gun use, data and science be damned. Her two-pronged assessment is wrong on both accounts.
Double Dose of Deception
Numerous studies have shown that requiring the use of alternative ammunition would put a significant cost barrier to participation in hunting and fishingon public lands. Alternative ammunition is, on average, 25 percent more expensive than traditional ammunition and less available to find on retail counters. That barrier would “price out” many hunters and anglers and decrease the excise tax funding paid by firearm and ammunition manufacturers they support. And it’s not just an American issue, either. Data from the European Shooting Sports Forum in 2021 revealed that if a near-total ban on lead ammunition were instituted there, approximately one-in-four hunters would completely stop participating in hunting.
And that’s the goal. Alternative ammunition is so fervently pushed by Rep. Ocasio-Cortez and her anti-hunting, anti-gun allies because they know it would lead to dramatically fewer hunters. That’s their endgame.
The Congresswoman’s “poison everything in sight” remark is false as well. The facts are clear – traditional ammunition has been used in North America for over 400 years and there has never been one case of an individual suffering lead poisoning due to the consumption of wild game taken with lead ammunition. That’s not firearm industry “propaganda,” either. Accusations of denying science fall flat when studies conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 2008 found that blood-lead levels in hunters consuming wild game harvested using traditional ammunition were actually lower than individuals in the same community that didn’t consume wild game. The CDC study showed that no hunters using traditional ammunition had elevated blood-lead levels even approaching the threshold of concern.
If Rep. Ocasio-Cortez still can’t be bothered to study the science, maybe she can look on the opposite side of the country in California – politically much more aligned with her progressive views – and see what has happened there. The Golden State implemented a lead ammunition ban statewide in 2019 and there is near 99-percent compliance rate with the ban among hunters. It’s been more than four full years but anti-hunting activists continue to blame traditional ammunition made with lead components for the deaths of the scavenger birds like the California Condor.
But even local media reports that after being extinct in the wild in the 1980s, California Condors number more than 300 in the wild today. That’s in addition to Secretary of Interior Deb Haaland announcing in a 2020 U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) report that there are 71,400 nesting pairs of American bald eagles in the lower 48 states, and more than 316,000 individual birds. The bald eagle population has quadrupled since 2009 leading Sec. Haaland to deem bald eagle recovery as “one of the most well-known conservation success stories of all time.”
Despite what Rep. Ocasio-Cortez spouts, the science in crystal clear: American wildlife populations are healthy and American hunters – using traditional ammunition – have played the most significant role in that development.
Secretary Haaland Questioned
Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez wasn’t the only one to appear before a congressional committee to address the Biden administration’s push for traditional ammunition bans, including the most recent “bait-and-switch” ploy announced by USFWS. Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland appeared in front of the House Natural Resources Committee for a hearing on oversight and Rep. Wittman criticized the Biden administration’s continued push for banning traditional lead ammunition on public lands, demanding answers from the secretary. It did not go well for her.
“Can you tell me when you make a decision to ban lead in ammunition and fishing sinkers on a large number of refuges, can you cite the science you use for how there’s specific impacts on these properties and the resources on those properties? Because there’s nothing that I’ve seen that’s been published or that is out there that has been part of that decision making,” Rep. Wittman asked.
The secretary waffled and recited the same talking points, stating that “the best available data” shows that lead has had “negative impacts” on wildlife and human health. Rep. Wittman was having none of it and criticized her speaking in generalities.
“Can you name the studies and the specific authors of the studies, the journals that they’re published in to show the risk that is shown scientifically?” he pushed.
“I can’t cite those for you at the moment,” Secretary Haaland admitted. She promised to get back to the congressman after the hearing with the requested studies and citations but no one should hold their breath. Because those studies don’t exist.
True Conservationists
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, Secretary Haaland and others who continue to push out America’s hunters on public lands better be careful – they could get what they wish for. That would be truly devastating for the very outdoors and public lands that millions of Americans cherish and visit every year – hunters and non-hunters alike.
The firearm and ammunition industry, supported by millions of hunters and outdoor recreational shooters, has contributed over $27 billion, when adjusted for inflation, towards wildlife management and conservation projects back in the states. No other group is more responsible for the resounding comeback and thriving populations for America’s wildlife populations – including bald eagles, California condors and more.
Pushing to eliminate hunting and fishing on public lands – activities which are enjoyed by Americans who own the public lands – is anti-science, anti-hunting and anti-outdoors.

Jack Smith admitted his team jumbled the chronological order of the documents in both the physical and digital form. This is a critical mistake because the Trump Team insists the documents were in chronological order as the President received them and it proves there was no attempt to go through them and destroy them, as the prosecution claims.
