Just then another head drifted by. Then another. “Wow,” the woman said. “It’s hard to believe.”
“It’s not so incredible once you understand why,” the man replied.

The federal government is giving voter registration forms to non-citizen ‘refugees.’
According to South Carolina state representative and congressional candidate Adam Morgan, the federal government is including voter registration forms in packets at the Social Security Office in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
“Is the Federal Gov giving voter registration forms to non-citizens?” Adam Morgan said on X.
“Yes, at least in SC. A refugee sent us this form that was given to her in a packet at the Social Security Office in Spartanburg. She asked “Why are they giving these to non-citizens?”” he said.

Moms Demand Action AG Backs Laws That Enabled Criminal Brother Arrested for Rapes

“Boston police failed to arrest ‘serial rapist’ for years despite DNA evidence,” WBUR, Boston University’s National Public Radio member station reported April 22. “Boston police finally arrested [Alvin] Campbell in early 2020 after a fifth woman reported she was raped.”
A woman he’d offered a ride to asked him to take her back to the hotel where he’d picked her up while “posing as a ride-hailing driver,” it explains. “Instead, he took her to his apartment in Dorchester that Saturday in July 2016 and sexually assaulted her, police alleged in court records.”
“Boston police finally arrested Campbell in early 2020 after a fifth woman reported she was raped,” the report continues, noting investigators “found evidence on his phone indicating he had sexually assaulted at least 10 additional women since the first incident in 2016.” It also notes “Campbell spent much of his adult life cycling in and out of state and federal prison for physical assaults and gun convictions.”
One wonders why, instead of “cycling,” people who have proven time and again they can’t be trusted not to victimize others aren’t kept away from the law-abiding and peaceable. Except that doesn’t fit in with the agenda of Massachusetts’ Democrat Attorney General, Andrea Campbell, Alvin’s sister.
Per the Associated Press, she said she “‘look[s] at every issue through an equity lens.’ She said Massachusetts residents don’t all have the same access to affordable health care or housing and aren’t all affected equally by the criminal justice system, crime or the climate crisis. She added that communities of color are ‘disproportionately policed and incarcerated.’”
It goes without saying that if one does not go around sexually assaulting women, the chances of being incarcerated on rape charges diminish greatly. But coming from a career criminal family, with authorities at one time calling her father the “leading black organized crime figure in New England,” there are personal incentives to blame the system instead of the individual – unless he’s an ordinary gun owner inclined to obey the law. (AG Campbell’s background is reminiscent of another billionaire Michael Bloomberg-backed daughter of a hoodlum, “reporter” Jennfier Mascia of The Trace, who has apparently made a career of taking her Daddy-was-a-hitman/Meadow Soprano issues out on gun owners who are not sociopathic animals.)
In Massachusetts, A- rated by Giffords for myriad prior restraints and infringements, those laws include “gun owner licensing [the licensing of a right], universal background checks, extreme risk protection orders, domestic violence gun laws, large capacity magazine ban, strong concealed carry law, certain open carry regulations, safe storage laws, community violence intervention funding, [and] record-keeping of gun sales.”
There’s also a “What Massachusetts is Missing” section, ostensibly to list what it would take to finally get the prohibitionists to give up and leave gun owners alone, but the reality is, since the minds behind citizen disarmament are really only about stopping non-sanctioned “gun violence,” the totalitarians posing as “commonsense gun safety advocates won’t ultimately settle for anything less than a monopoly of violence.
But they’ll take what they can get in increments, and Andrea shows us her cards for next steps toward the end game:
Establish an Office of Gun Safety Enforcement: Bureaucrats and professional gun-grabbers with plenty of media publicity will think up new ways to undermine your rights.
Prioritize community-based gun violence prevention: Pander to urban Democrat constituencies and throw tax plunder at the problem.
Strengthen Massachusetts’ common sense gun laws: Ban more guns.
Bolster gun safety training requirements: Impose new ways to deny and criminalize gun ownership.
All of these measures, of course, will not slow gangs terrorizing Boston, bragging about murders, and using kids as lookouts, one bit. But is sure will create ways to harass and destroy people who have never been part of that problem.
It’s ironic that Moms Demand Action considers a politician who enables victimizers of women a “gun safety candidate.” Ironic but understandable, as they and their Everytown bankrollers insists that “Arming victims with guns increases their risk.”
What they’re leaving out, because they want all women to be against guns, is that, per economist and author John Lott of the Crime Prevention Research Center, “Murder isn’t a nationwide problem. It’s a problem in a small set of urban areas…” In general, when the grabbers say women are endangered by a gun in the home, those in criminal households whose chronic poor choices include the males they attach themselves to are who they get their numbers from.
What this translates to in practical terms is if you’re a serial sexual predator, the odds are your victim won’t be able to stop you from having your way with her and doing whatever you want. Andrea and Moms Demand are determined to make sure the law keeps your victims defenseless.
And while the WBUR story begins by saying “It started off like countless other Uber rides in downtown Boston,” it doesn’t matter if Alvin was posing as a legit rideshare driver or not. Uber prohibits riders from being armed. So does competitor Lyft.
This makes a pretty good case for not surrendering your means of defense, taking your own car, and staying out of Democrat areas whenever it can be avoided.

Normally, you can get good police dashcam footage on YouTube, but this one was violent enough that even over there the original footage got buried into oblivion by news outlets who know how to work the algorithm and love to censor the footage for local TV. Fortunately, I was able to find it on X (or Twitter, or whatever).
In this video, Seattle police officers were waiting inside a hotel room for a man had allegedly scheduled to meet one or two underage girls (the story differs around the internet). But, when he found out that he was the prey, he decided to draw a gun, leading to a very rapid demise.
What We Can Learn From This
Instead of doing what most people did in comments all over the internet, I’ll skip past celebrating the guy’s death. While that’s certainly the feeling we all share here, there’s nothing useful to glean from that.
Instead, I want to start with the raw speed at which this whole gunfight went down. There was no tense standoff, no chance to “shoot him in the hand” or anything like that. In fact, the situation changed from arresting the guy to a deadly fight so fast that the initial officer didn’t even have time to stop introducing himself. Part of his brain was starting to become engaged in wrestling over a gun while another part of him was still speaking professionally and he struggled to form the words to command him to give up the gun!
So, when someone tells you that “there are no shot timers in a gunfight”, keep this kind of thing in mind. If you’re not training to either get rounds on target fast or do something else to keep from getting killed, you’re watching too many movies and TV shows.
It’s unclear whose gun fired first, but it sounds like the man’s gun was fired in the struggle for it. At this point, another officer, who wasn’t struggling to keep a muzzle pointed away from him, did as police officers and concealed carry people who went to a good course are trained to do: two shots to the gut. Again, there’s no time for drawing, completing the grip, and forming a sight picture. In this kind of a situation, you point shoot practically on the way out of the holster and start trying to incapacitate the assailant before they get a chance to hurt you.
At this point, we get a lesson on what happens when the adrenaline hits a brain in charge of a modern handgun: emptying the magazine. No matter how much you train to do things like the Mozambique drill or otherwise fire some course of fire, things get crazy in this kind of a situation.
All in all, this was an incident that seems to have been handled professionally by police officers, and fortunately it was against an assailant who hadn’t been training with a shot timer or properly holstering his gun for fast deployment. If you’re ever faced with a violent encounter, you have to ask yourself: would you rather be like the cops here or be like the alleged pedophile?
His alleged crimes against humanity entirely aside, you don’t want to be that guy.

Last week, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed the ‘Baby Olivia Act’ into law.
The law requires public schools to show school children a “high-quality, computer-generated animation or high-definition ultrasound” of unborn babies as they develop in the womb.
According to Life Site, “family life curriculum is required by Tennessee law in all counties where the teen birth rate exceeds 19.5 per 1,000 females between the ages of 15 and 19, which amount to 78 of the state’s 95 counties, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).”
On March 18, 2024, The Tennessee State House adopted amendments #1 and #2 and passed House Bill 2435 which states:
The law cites the computer-animated “Baby Olivia” video by Live Action, which depicts fertilization and fetal development from conception, as an example of an animation that would meet the law’s requirements. The video has been viewed almost 7 million times on YouTube.

Several Charlotte officers were wounded after gunfire erupted in east Charlotte, North Carolina on Monday afternoon.
Their conditions are not known at this time.
One US Marshal died in the shootout.
According to authorities, the shooting unfolded along Galway Drive as the US Marshal Task Force was serving a search warrant.

Latest update at the above URL is that there are 4 cops dead and 5 wounded with the shooter dead and the police looking to question 2 more people.
I have long wondered how the police tactics would work against someone that had good training and remembered that training. Either the police F’d up real bad or the shooter was very well trained and decided not to go to jail. It will be interesting to learn as much of the back story as the powers that be will release and to see what else is happening.

Virginia Commonwealth University has become the latest epicenter of violent protests, as pro-Hamas supporters occupied parts of the campus, leading to a tense standoff with riot police. Authorities issued a shelter-in-place order for all students.
The confrontation began Monday morning when a group of student protesters established what they called a “Liberation Zone” outside the James Branch Cabell Library on VCU’s Monroe Park campus. The group displayed Palestinian flags and chanted “Free Palestine,” demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and calling for VCU to sever all financial ties with Israel.
As the day progressed, tents were erected, and protesters fortified their position by forming a barrier around the zone.
As the day progressed, the situation intensified with pro-Hamas supporters occupying the library and courtyard. Police responded by deploying tear gas and pepper spray after protesters hurled objects at officers.
