Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

  2. Jamie Dimon, JP Morgan boss, says the banking crisis is over for now unless the Fed raises interest rates again, which would put banks’ T-bills and real estate portfolios even more under water. Make no mistake, if there are smartest men in any room he is in that crowd.

    Reality is the bitch we all marry. There is no divorce from this union. Precious metals personified includes the whole market, not only monetary experts. Gold and its best friend, silver, speak in tongues to everyone even if not all listen. Central banks around the world are dumping U.S. Treasuries because of their counter-party risk, and replacing them with gold. Some reports say silver, too, is being stockpiled by the likes of India–no small player.

    The indecisive man now pays daily for his normalcy bias. If he is lucky enough to be led to water he stares at the reflection of his own furrowed brow rather than drinking. There is not much that can be done for him, just as there is little that can be done to help all those see what VTB has been shouting out for years.

    Gold is the purest form of Man’s toil retained. It is his energy, and his nation’s energy. It sits like a hermit in a cave watching the folly and the rave, caring nothing for the paper that you save.

    It is becoming clear to me that neither Robert F. Kennedy Jr. or Donald J. Trump are going to speak ill of each other. In fact, they seem to be praising each other at times. This is because RFK Jr’s run for the White House hurts Joe Biden. My belief is there may be a deal in place between President Trump and RFK, Jr. Why else would Kennedy pick a radical to be his running mate? Nicole Shanahan is a leftist who will only help pick off votes from Joe Biden.

    I am making the prediction now that President Trump will have a spot for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. inside the Trump Administration. RFK Jr. knows he has no shot of winning the Presidency, so if he wants a voice in the future, the best way is to help President Trump.

    Jeff Clark was serving as Acting United States Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division of the Department of Justice when he was summoned by President Trump to inquire into allegations of election fraud in the state of Georgia, among other places. Clark has faced criminal charges for making honest inquiries into election fraud affecting the 2020 results, particularly in the Peach State, where the evidence overwhelmingly proves was riven with fraud, for which he was indicted, and forced to take a mugshot, alongside both Attorney John Eastman and President Trump, last summer.

    Former Trump senior official Jeffrey Clark is in court today in Washington DC where he faces the prospect of losing his license in the latest persecution against President Trump and his supporters.

    Clark served as acting head of the Justice Department’s civil division under Trump and questioned the validity of the suspect 2020 presidential election that landed Joe Biden in the White House after late night ballot drops in several battleground states.

    For daring to question the 2020 election, former Trump senior official Jeffrey Clark was brought before a DC Court last week where he faces the prospect of losing his law license in the latest persecution against President Trump and his supporters.

    The Village of Dolton, Illinois’ voted Monday to hire failed former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who let her city burn with rampant crime and violence, to investigate Democrat Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard’s corruption for a hefty $400 an hour.

    Henyard is already under FBI investigation for abusing her power after she shut down businesses that didn’t donate to her campaign.

    She has also been accused of stealing charitable funds and even using taxpayer dollars for personal use.

    Last month, the corrupt mayor even vetoed an investigation after the Dolton Village Board of Trustees voted unanimously to probe Henyard’s spending and invite the FBI to investigate her scandalous activity.

  11. Pause on Firearms Exports is an Unjustified Attack on the Gun Industry

    A new publication by the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) shows that the stated reason for the 90-day firearm export “pause” – which is well past 160 days – is a nothingburger. It’s a sandwich with no meat but layers of government cheese. And lots of it.

    Commerce Department’s BIS published a “Don’t Let this HAPPEN TO YOU!” document that was posted online in March of actual investigations of export control and antiboycott violations. Government officials highlighted approximately 20 entries for firearms or related accessories. Not a single one of those cases of illegal smuggling was the result of any licensed U.S. exporter. There are no examples of misconduct by any legitimate firearm businesses.

    The instances BIS highlights are all cases of individuals attempting to illegally smuggle firearms. Contrast that with reports that U.S. arms left by President Joe Biden’s rushed Afghanistan withdrawal left the “motherlode” of small arms to be seized by Taliban terrorists. Those were reportedly being seen in Gaza when terrorists attacked Israel on Oct. 7.

  12. Open Season on Illegals? Some Opponents of Arizona Bill Think So

    A contentious bill proposed in the Arizona legislature looks to expand current Castle Doctrine in the state by allowing landowners a broader level of authority to use lethal force in defense of their property against trespassers. But critics, including one Democratic Latina lawmaker, argue it would essentially declare an “open (hunting) season” on illegal migrants who continue to flood across the U.S. southern border creating havoc for many communities and people, especially those people who live near the border.

    Authored by Republican Rep. Justin Heap, the proposed legislation, House Bill 2843, aims to empower homeowners and landowners with the right to shoot and kill trespassers under the claim of self-defense, extending beyond the current law that protects those within their homes.

    The legislative effort is primarily aimed at helping ranchers and farmers along the U.S.-Mexico border, who must continually deal with those who illegally cross into the country, many simply looking for a better life, but others who commit crimes, are smuggling drugs and carrying firearms. Rep. Heap told news outlets the bill seeks to close a loophole in state laws that have left property owners vulnerable to trespassers who could potentially pose a threat to their safety and livelihood.

    There are no shortage of stories and first-hand accounts from people from Texas to California of groups of people, damaging fences, steeling property and breaking into homes. One Texas resident recounted how his wife came home to find their house had been broken into. Investigating further while waiting for police to arrive, she looked out her kitchen window to see a man, an illegal immigrant, swimming in their pool, the valuables he had taken stacked up next to the pool.

    Hunters with outfitters along the border are warned to stay hidden if they see people coming through the barren land as a person never knows who poses a danger and who doesn’t. Violent, cartel drug runners use these same porous routes to enter the states as well.

    In fact, the bill’s introduction comes in the aftermath of a high-profile case involving 73-year-old Arizona rancher George Alan Kelly, who is facing second-degree murder charges following the shooting death of Gabriel Cuen-Buitimea on his property. Cuen-Buitimea, who had illegally entered the U.S., was unarmed when he was killed. Kelly, asserting his actions were in self-defense, claimed he had only fired warning shots at a group of migrants he believed to be armed. The incident has only fueled an already fiery debate over property rights, self-defense and the treatment of migrants illegally entering the U.S.

    Phoenix-area Democrat Rep. Analise Ortiz and the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee have vehemently opposed the bill, labeling it inhumane and arguing it could lead to “open season on migrants” escalating the potential for extrajudicial killings.

    “It’s terrifying. It would give people free rein to execute somebody and it would broaden extrajudicial killings,” Ortiz told NBC News. “This is part of a broader anti-immigrant movement that we’ve seen coming from the right, which aims to dehumanize and vilify people who are coming to this country seeking asylum.”

    Critics of the bill fear the move could create an environment reminiscent of legends from the late famed gun writer Col. Charles Askins, who served in WWII and served on the border patrol along the southern border for as much as a decade in the 1930s. Askins professed to have been in a gunfight at least once a week and was rumored to have tested new loads and firearms in those gunfights and then wrote about their performance in the magazines he wrote for. Askin’s autobiography was even titled “Unrepentant Sinner.”

    While Democrats and others have been quick to denounce the bill, the movement is also a backlash to progressive polices under the Biden Administration that has allowed record numbers of migrants to cross into the U.S. through the southern border with no accountability. Taxpayers, as a result, have been forced to provide for their housing, food and other financial needs, a situation that has led to mounting tension, even among people typically supportive of the Democratic Party. Countless communities are suffering the consequences of crimes committed by some of these illegals who have nothing and are desperate or come from violent backgrounds themselves.

    “The Tucson, Arizona, Customs and Border Patrol sector has seen a 149.6% jump in migrant encounters, which includes people crossing legally and those quickly expelled, this January over January 2023, according to CBP statistics,” NBC News reports.

    Sociologists and pundits have observed that proposed laws that seek to expand self-defense and property rights are inevitable to counteract soft policies on illegal immigration and the creation of a social order in which people who are legally in this country must obey laws, but those who are not citizens can flaunt them. High profile cases of crimes by people in this country illegally fill headlines each week including the brutal murder of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley by an illegal, the attack of New York City police officers by a gang of illegals who were then released laughing without bail, the arrest of three illegals from Guatemala for allegedly kidnapping a woman from a Florida park and raping her before she managed to escape, the arrest of an illegal immigrant in Illinois, just two weeks in the country, who stabbed to death and attempted to decapitate his wifein front of their two children, the arrest of an illegal from Mexico who had already been deported 8 times and arrested another 11 times and has been charged in the murder of an Ohio man, and there are others. Such headlines exacerbate the issue.

    Despite the controversies and divided views, the bill has progressed along party lines in the state House, with a 31-28 vote favoring its advancement. Its future in the Republican-controlled state Senate appears promising, though Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs is expected to veto the measure, aligning with her stance against a similar bill that sought to empower state police to arrest individuals entering the country illegally.

    At stake, proponents argue the bill reinforces the fundamental right of property owners to protect their land and safety, while opponents fear it marks a dangerous escalation in anti-immigrant sentiment and potentially unlawful and unethical use of force.

    For at least 12 years running, the Windy City in Illinois has captured the crown as America’s Murder City with the most homicides. When one couples the “no snitch” culture with the gang culture and add in defunding the police and prosecutors who don’t prosecute, criminals know they can work without consequences.

    Now, in a rare moment of drive-by media coverage, the Chicago Sun-Times admits in a roundabout way that not only is the local Soros-funded prosecutor Kim Foxx not prosecuting gang bangers with guns shooting up the town, federal prosecutors are declining cases aplenty too.

    Again, crime without consequences leads to more crime.

    In past years, when local prosecutors refused to take slam-dunk cases, oftentimes the local cops would go to federal prosecutors who take the cases. For that to happen, the good guys just have to prove that the gun used travelled in interstate commerce (easy-peasy with most guns) and that they had their man guilty as sin.

    Unfortunately, not only has Kim Foxx not only failed to prosecute, but stats show the feds have elected to do much of the same.

    Gun cases in Chicago turned down by feds at higher rate than in most cities

    Federal prosecutors are less likely than those in most other places — including New York and Los Angeles — to approve gun charges. Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul is taking up some of those rejected cases.

    “Some”? As in more than one or two?

    Chicago is flooded with firearms, more than almost anywhere in the country, but federal prosecutors in the city are less likely to approve gun charges than their counterparts in most other cities.

    A massive new data release by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives shows that more ownership traces of “crime guns” recovered by law enforcement agencies were done in Chicago than anywhere except Houston from 2017 through 2021.

    Funny how they lump guns recovered from burglaries as “crime guns.” But it sounds more sensationalistic than saying “traced guns.”

    Yet federal prosecutors in Chicago were ranked in the bottom eight of the country’s 94 federal court districts in the percentage of gun cases they approve, according to the report ordered by U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, who was in Chicago on Wednesday to announce $78 million in anti-violence grants.

    Great. We can have more “anti-violence activists” and “interrupters” arrested while collecting a paycheck from taxpayers.

    Meanwhile homicides in Chicago rose 32% year-over-year in March. It surely seems as though the Governor’s beloved “Protect Illinois Communities Act” gun and magazine ban is failing to protect anyone except the bad guys.

  14. St. Louis Apartment Dweller Shoots Naked Man in Self-Defense

    What’s worse than a dude breaking into your home? Could be a naked dude breaking into your home.

    Fox 2 now in St. Louis is reporting a resident was forced to shoot a man breaking into his apartment in the middle of the afternoon Friday, April 5.

    Police told the news station the suspect “broke through the wall” of the victim’s apartment. He didn’t bust through a window, which might have been easier; he didn’t kick down a door, the modus operandi of gang bangers and SWAT teams alike. He flat out busted through the wall like the Kool-Aid man—a naked one—or Steven Tyler in the Run DMC/Aerosmith video “Walk This Way.”

    But this cat wasn’t singing “hey diddle diddle with a kitty in the middle,” he was apparently threatening to kill the resident and his family.

    Somewhere in the confrontation that ensued—details are still murky—the 36-year-old resident grabbed a handgun and shot the 32-year-old intruder in his left hand. Apparently, that was enough to make him chill the heck out, because when police arrived, the naked guy with a hole in his hand was still there, but no longer chasing anyone around. He was taken into custody, and while police are still investigating, it doesn’t appear, any charges will be forthcoming, for the resident at least. We assume naked man will face some charges.

  16. HORROR: Illegal Alien in Illinois Brutally Stabs Wife to Death in Front of Their Two Children, Nearly Decapitating Her

    An illegal alien from Mexico who walked across the open U.S.-Mexico border last month committed one of the most heinous crimes imaginable.

    As Fox News reported Thursday, 33-year-old Baltazar Perez-Estrada walked into the Carol Stream Police Department in Illinois on April 1 at 11:30 A.M. and informed them that he had stabbed his 26-year-old wife, Maricela Simon Franco, to death.

    The incident occurred on March 31 at 10 p.m. when Perez-Estrada and Franco argued. Perez-Estrada was infuriated when he found out his wife had a boyfriend about two weeks after he crossed into the U.S., according to Law and Crime.

    Perez-Estrada proceeded to stab Franco dozens of times in her head, neck, body, and hands in front of their two young children. Prosecutors revealed the attack was so brutal that Franco was nearly decapitated.

  17. Russia’s Top Investigative Body Accuses U.S. Senior Officials and Hunter Biden-Linked Burisma of Terror Attacks

    Russia’s highest investigative body announced on Tuesday that it has launched an official criminal probe into senior officials in the United States and other NATO countries who are suspected of financing terrorism acts.

    According to The Moscow Times, Russia’s Investigative Committee, which is the primary federal investigating authority of Russia, has accused U.S. Senior officials, NATO members, and the Hunter Biden-linked Bursima Holdings of financing terror attacks that have occurred both inside and outside of Russia.

    The statement was made in a video released by the Committee but did not refer to a specific terror attack.

    The Investigative Committee’s probe comes just a month after 144 people were killed in a terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Russia last month.
