I spent virtually my entire legal career defending free speech on campus, including the free speech of Muslim students and staff members. During those decades of litigation and my subsequent years in journalism, I have never seen such comprehensive abuse directed against a vulnerable campus minority group as I’ve seen directed at Jewish students and faculty since Hamas’ terror attack on Oct. 7.
What’s happening to Jewish students and faculty at several elite campuses is so comprehensive and all-consuming that it can only be described as systemic antisemitism.
The Harvard complaint details an incident at Harvard Law School where campus police allegedly observed passively as a mob of protesters “stormed Harvard Law’s main building, marched down the length of the building’s primary first-floor hallway, and blocked the hallway outside the study room where [Students Against Anti-Semitism and a visiting speaker] were hiding.
Fearing a violent attack, students in the study room removed indicia of their Jewishness, such as kippot, or hid under desks.” Think about that for a moment. In 2024, Jewish students felt the need to hide under their desks for their physical safety.
Universities and schools demonstrate far greater tolerance for antisemitic speech and behavior than for virtually any other kind of offensive speech or behavior. They bend or break the rules to accommodate pro-Palestinian protests. Jewish students then face intimidation and even assaults.

The Haitian man arrested for raping a 15-year-old disabled girl at a migrant hotel in Massachusetts earlier this week came to the US on Joe Biden’s parole program for Haitians.
26-year-old Cory Alvarez was arrested and charged with child rape at a hotel used to house Joe Biden’s ‘migrants’ and illegal aliens.
According to Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, Alvarez came to the US on Biden’s parole program for Haitians which allowed him to fly into JFK airport in New York City in June 2023.
“We’re told that ICE has now filed a detainer on 26-year-old Cory B. Alvarez with local authorities, & that he had a sponsor listed in New Jersey as part of his parole,” Bill Melugin said.
“The Biden admin’s controversial CHNV parole program allows up to 30,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans to fly into the U.S. after they’ve supposedly been vetted and have a sponsor in the U.S. The recipients typically receive two year “humanitarian parole” grants, which allow them to apply for work authorization and live in the U.S. According to CBP data, at least 138,000 Haitians have been brought to the U.S. since the start of the Biden admin’s program in January 2023,” Melugin said.

Following the confusing and unethical ruling, Attorney Jonathan Turley weighed in on the decision.

That’s one of the things that is most shocking about this. She should have recused herself weeks ago. And there is this disconnect in the opinion. I get much of what the judge is saying. I think the judge has done a fine job. He’s been fair. He’s tried to get it right. And I get it when he says, look, I can’t say that this relationship is the reason that she brought this case.
Unfortunately, the case was not brought for personal reasons. It was brought for political reasons. This is a very politically motivated case, at least extending it to Donald Trump with this rather thin racketeering theory. So I get all of that. What I don’t understand is how the court can find that she did act improperly in her public statements. He shreds the testimony. He strongly indicates that he did not. believe Mr. Wade.

A former Boeing manager and whistleblower, John Barnett, had told a close friend days before his untimely death that if anything happened to him, it would not be suicide.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Barnett was found dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted wound inside his car in a hotel parking lot shortly after testifying against the aerospace company.
Barnett had accused Boeing of neglecting safety concerns and retaliating against him for his disclosures.
The 62-year-old, who had a 32-year tenure with the company until his retirement in 2017, died on March 9 during a break from depositions in a whistleblower retaliation lawsuit.
“Barnett’s death came during a break in depositions in a whistleblower retaliation suit, where he alleged under-pressure workers were deliberately fitting sub-standard parts to aircraft on the assembly line.” the Daily Mail reported.
Charleston police are investigating after Barnett was found in his truck “suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.”
According to the Daily Mail, Barnett was reportedly found with a ‘silver handgun’ in his hand and his finger on the trigger.

Illegal migrant charged with assaulting girls at Maryland church was deported twice: ICE
An illegal migrant from El Salvador who has been twice deported from the U.S. was this week charged with more than 20 counts of sex abuse and sex offenses of minors during his time working as a church teacher in Maryland.
Ervin Jeovany Alfaro Lopez, 33, was arrested on Monday by the Montgomery County Department of Police on charges including sex abuse of a minor.
The incidents allegedly took place between 2016 and 2018 at a Derwood church located in the 15700 block of Crabbs Branch Way in Montgomery County. The victims were aged between 6 and 12 at the time, according to the case in Montgomery County Circuit court. He has also been charged with rape in the second-degree and two counts of sex offense third degree in relation to the incidents.
Police began the investigation in May after a victim came forward. Following the initial complaint, three more victims came forward in September and January and were reported to have been sexually abused by Alfaro Lopez at the same church.

Tyson Foods wants to hire 52,000 asylum seekers for factory jobs
The food processing company wants to hire migrants who are arriving in New York for jobs Americans don’t want.
New York City shelters are overwhelmed with migrants.
Many of them have arrived in Texas or Florida and then taken buses to New York, where shelter and benefits are guaranteed. However, the city is scrambling as the number continues to climb and the migrants look to build a new life in America, which includes housing and work.
But for companies like Tyson Foods Inc., struggling to fill unpopular jobs with a U.S. unemployment rate of 3.9%, this new population presents an alluring opportunity.
The food processing company wants to hire 52,000 asylum seekers for factory jobs, offering a starting wage of $16.50 per hour along with benefits. The company understands and is aware that these are jobs that many find unpleasant, such as washing meat, placing the cuts into trays, final inspections for bones and packing meat, but believe this will help the refugees to start a life in America.
For example, the company says that it has allocated $1.5 million a year for legal aid services and will be providing its new employees with temporary housing, on-site child care, transportation, a relocation stipend, and paid time off to attend court hearings and to adjust to their new homes.

Some things are very simple to see, if they’re just illustrated. That’s why this update should be short. What we will see is the impact on Israeli security policy of the expanding rush to send aid to Gaza by sea.
The rhetorical focus of public discussion on this topic is always “humanitarian aid.” That practice, adhered to with iron discipline, effectively obscures the competing problem of keeping arms from flowing to Hamas by sea – a problem Israel has addressed with uninterrupted enforcement of a maritime blockade of Gaza since January 2009.
In my last article, we looked at the potential complications the Biden administration’s plan for a temporary pier in Gaza would pose for the blockade. There’s a humanitarian-deliveries exception to blockade enforcement: although a blockade is supposed to be enforced impartially and without interruption if it is to be accepted as “in force,” the humanitarian exception is allowed. No media outlets have addressed the point, or indicated that it’s a factor in negotiations for the seaborne delivery route, but we can assume Israel is making an exception, and has no intention of ending the blockade.

City’s Coyote Attack Advice Silent on Personal Defense

This could just as easily have been a two-year-old playing in the yard, making the city’s bureaucratic “Action Plan” to call authorities ludicrously worthless. (USDA)
“We are currently in the height of coyote mating season when coyotes become more active and are seen more often,” a Monday email from the City of Hudson advises. “Check out our Yard Audit Checklist to assess if you need to make property modifications to discourage coyotes from your yard.”
It’s no surprise to residents. The Northeast Ohio town is situated just to the east of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, “a refuge for native plants and wildlife,” with much of that wildlife, notably deer, raccoons, foxes, and even an occasional bear finding themselves in residential yards looking for food. Of note is the “advice” given if attacked, which doesn’t include being as serious about and capable of prevailing as the bear.
Simple precautions like those listed in the Yard Audit Checklist can reduce the attractions for animals that can prove dangerous in a human encounter, particularly for homes with small children (don’t leave food out, fill in standing water holes, remove brush piles, etc.), albeit the very first tip makes fair the question “What kind of utter moron would intentionally feed/hand-feed them?”
While coyote attacks are relatively rare, we can’t ignore reports that they do occur:

And as things go, the accompanying “Action Plan” for coyotes works to a point for nonaggressive animals just passing through. But it’s worthless for more pressing scenarios:
“Coyote acting bold, aggressively or exhibiting uncharacteristic behaviors. Examples: Pets or humans being approached or followed; coyote falling over, injured. Coyote closely blocking your path; lunging at pet or human. Coyote present on property day and night and returning regularly; growling. Coyote attacks/kills pets or livestock [and] Physical human encounter. Example: Seemingly intentional attack on a human being.”
The reason it’s useless and even dangerous to heed should be self-evident from the “Actions” assigned to “Residents”:
“Report incident to the police department by calling (330) 342-1800. (In the event of a medical emergency, please call 911).”
Sorry, but if anything four-legged (or two) is threatening citizens on their property, the truism “When seconds count, police are minutes away” takes over, and the only rational and effective “Action Plan” is “Stop the Threat.” If a coyote is aggressive or rabid, shouting and grabbing a garden tool may not be enough. That’s why Hudson citizens would do well to understand what their town’s Code of Ordinances has to say about DISCHARGING FIREARMS AND OTHER WEAPONS:
“No person shall discharge or fire any cannon, gun, rifle, air gun or rifle, revolver, pistol, cross bow, bow and arrow or other weapon or firearm within the Municipality. However, this section shall not be construed as applying to the use of any of such weapons in the lawful defense of any person, or the property of any person…”
That first part is overkill because it effectively prohibits teaching kids safety with BB and pellet guns. It wouldn’t disturb neighborhood peace with noise, and it wouldn’t be hard at all to set up a safe backyard range with adequate backstops, where the projectiles wouldn’t cross property lines and hurt anyone or damage anything. There’s really no justification for government to get involved unless they do.
The second part, fighting back if needed and winning, is what needs to be added to the “Action Plan.”

Terrorism is a Disease, Constitutional Carry is the Cure

FBI Director Christopher Wray must be frustrated. He issued one of the strongest terrorism warnings earlier this week, but few seemed to notice, and even fewer seemed to care. Instead, the legacy media remained fixated on the testimony of former special counsel Robert K. Hur, who concluded that Joe Biden committed multiple federal crimes but was too incompetent to stand trial. While Hur’s findings were certainly newsworthy, they were not news. Most of the country already knew Old Yeller’s best days are behind him.
Wray’s warning, however, was dire. He told the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence that known or suspected terrorists were infiltrating the country across the wide-open southern border using counterfeit documents. One of the smuggling networks, he said, has ties to ISIS. Add to this the thousands of unknown border crossers from countries that hate us and the more than 80,000 military-age males from China, and you have a terrorist hellbroth just waiting to bubble over.
“The threats from homegrown violent extremists that is jihadist-inspired, extremists, domestic violent extremists, foreign terrorist organizations, and state-sponsored terrorist organizations all being elevated at one time since October 7, though, that threat has gone to a whole other level,” Wray said. “And so, this is a time I think for much greater vigilance.”
We should thank Director Wray for his timely information and for his candor. This is precisely why we have fought so long and so hard to restore our Second Amendment rights so that law-abiding Americans no longer have to bend a knee and beg the Crown to sell them back their constitutional rights in the form of a permit to carry defensive arms. Constitutional carry levels the playing field, making it easier for the good guys and gals to lawfully carry arms.
In the 29 states that now offer some form of constitutional carry, when a terrorist rears their ugly head – be they a card-carrying ISIS member or a lone-wolf jihadist – Americans can take immediate action without waiting for First Responders to arrive, assess the situation, plan and then respond.
Time and time again, we have seen how judicious marksmanship can end a madman’s murderous plans.
In 2015, an off-duty police officer shot two home-grown terrorists who were trying to gain entry to an exhibit at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, which featured images of Muhammad. ISIL (the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) took credit for the attack – their first upon American soil.
In 2019, 71-year-old Jack Wilson dropped a 43-year-old shotgun-wielding madman, who had fatally shot two parishioners at the West Freeway Church of Christ in a Fort Worth suburb, with a single round to the head.
In 2022, Elisha Dicken fired ten rounds from his Glock at a madman who was shooting people inside an Indiana shopping mall. Eight of Dicken’s rounds struck the bad guy, who was 40 yards away. Dicken was carrying his Glock lawfully because of Indiana’s recently enacted constitutional carry law.
Despite these and many lesser-known examples, the left and the legacy media they control still consider an armed response by a private citizen a fantasy. Instead, they continue to push the laughable Run, Hide, Fight response.
One of the most important lessons learned after last year’s Hamas attacks is that terrorists are capable of much better planning than most thought possible, especially when paired with a state sponsor such as Iran. There is no reason not to believe a terrorist group would be even more prepared for an attack on American soil. Their target analysis will likely include the possibility of armed opposition. In other words, the terrorists are more likely to focus on a target where concealed carry is heavily regulated if not impossible, and civilians have no option other than to run, hide or fight.
Despite our misgivings about the FBI and how it has been weaponized by the Biden-Harris administration, Wray’s warning should not go unheeded. However, now is not the time for paranoia. The main goal of terrorism is to terrorize. They want us to overreact, change our lifestyle, and curtail our own freedoms.
Instead, use the time Wray has given us to service or upgrade your EDC. Replace batteries. Re-confirm zero. Buy those extra mags you’ve wanted. Most importantly, go to the range and train. Shoot up your old defensive ammo and replace it with new.
There are 21 states that do not offer any form of constitutional carry, including several that make it nearly impossible for law-abiding Americans to defend themselves. This will prove to be a deadly mistake and it must change. Once your EDC is prepped, please help make that change.
Constitutional carry saves lives, and it should be the law of the land. Every American should enjoy their God-given right of self-defense, regardless of where they live.

North Carolina Pre-Teen Defends Mom From Domestic Assault
A woman who was attacked in her motel room in what police are calling an act of domestic violence was saved by her 11-year-old son, who shot the attacker and sent him fleeing.
Police in Charlotte, North Carolina were called to the InTown Suites in West Charlotte late Wednesday evening on reports of a shooting, and when they arrived they were able to piece together the disturbing details of the assault.
Investigators said a man busted into a hotel room and started attacking the 27-year-old pregnant mom, leaving her with bruises and scratches.
Police said the woman knew her attacker, and it was a domestic violence situation.
Detectives said the woman’s 11-year-old son saw his mom getting attacked, and the young boy rushed in and shot the intruder.
The suspect and the pregnant woman were taken to the hospital.
It’s absolutely heartbreaking that this child was put in a position where he was forced to shoot someone to protect his own mother and his unborn sibling, and I pray that he’s going to get some counseling to help him work through what was undoubtedly an incredibly traumatic situation.
Police have filed warrants accusing the man of assault by strangulation, assault on an unborn child, and false imprisonment. Authorities say neither the mom nor her son, however, will face criminal charges.

Arrests Made After Pro-Palestinian Protesters Swarm NY Times HQ and Printing Plant

Approximately 100 pro-Palestinian protesters swarmed the headquarters of The New York Times in Times Square at roughly 10:00 Thursday morning, leading to an unknown number of arrests.
That protest followed one a few hours earlier at a printing facility in Queens that was also operated by the Times.
The protests were apparently aimed at the Times’ coverage of the Israel Hamas War, which those involved claimed favored Israel’s side in the conflict.
New York City’s WABC-TV ran multiple updates on the protests throughout the morning. Initially, it wasn’t clear what the second group of protesters was there for.
Some protesters in Times Square who were not arrested, however, remained outside the newspaper’s headquarters, chanting and handing out fake copies of the Times to passersby who wanted them.

More illegal immigrants and undocumented persons entered the country, and more Americans died of drug overdoses under Biden than under any other US president. More Americans died of drug overdoses under Biden than died of COVID under Trump, but the same people who were calling for mask mandates and lockdowns are not calling for a lockdown of the border or a crackdown on users, sellers, traffickers, and buyers. (By the way, nearly three times as many Americans died of COVID under Biden as under Trump).”
Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines told Congress that groups like the Islamic State and Iran-backed militias, such as Hamas, are the largest threats to US interests, but most of the attacks have been overseas. Narcoterrorism, however, is growing as foreign terrorist organizations (FTOs) are using drug trafficking as a means of supporting their terrorist operations. The Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah works through a global network of gangs and cartels, trafficking cocaine and opium to the US.
FBI Director Christopher Wray identified China as the country providing precursor chemicals to Mexican cartels that manufacture the fentanyl that is killing Americans in record numbers. Moreover, Chinese nationals are establishing illegal marijuana growing operations within the US homeland, with Chinese organized crime groups now dominating the illegal marijuana market. Additionally, China is emerging as a key supplier of precursor chemicals for methamphetamine production, further exacerbating the drug crisis in the United States.
Not only drugs but violence is also making its way north from Mexico. Since 2018, cartels in Mexico have been responsible for approximately thirty thousand murders annually. Moreover, cocaine users are five times more likely to engage in violent crimes and its toll on American lives each year. Additionally, cartel violence is encroaching into the US, with instances of cartels targeting specific individuals within the country. US authorities have intercepted assassins attempting to cross the border, and states along the Mexico border, as well as Florida—a key transshipment point for cocaine from Latin America—are witnessing a surge in drug-related homicides, linked to Latin American cartels.
Cartels, currently classified as Transnational Organized Crime (TOC), are the subject of debate among some members of Congress and Texas Governor Abbott. They advocate for designating cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO) due to their meeting three specific criteria: A) They are foreign organizations; B) They engage in terrorist activities; and C) They pose a threat to the security of US nationals or national security.
Designating the cartels as terrorist organizations presents a significant challenge as it could severely strain US-Mexico relations. Such a designation could lead to accusations against the Mexican government of supporting terrorism, potentially triggering a series of consequences. Assets belonging to the cartels held in US banks, as well as assets linked to military personnel, law enforcement officials, or politicians aiding them, could be frozen. Sanctions may extend to banning implicated police officers, soldiers, and politicians from entering the US. Moreover, these individuals could be subject to arrest, trial, and imprisonment in the United States. Additionally, the possibility of military action, including cross-border raids, raises concerns about potential civilian casualties, inviting condemnation from the international community.
In his State of the Union Address, President Biden touted the number of arrests made by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the amount of drugs seized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). However, although these numbers are significant, the issue lies not with the ones they caught, but with the ones they didn’t. The reality is that millions of undocumented individuals, including those lacking proper visas, entered the US during the Biden administration. The term “lacking proper visas” is used here preemptively to address Democrat assertions that technically, undocumented asylum seekers are not considered illegal aliens.
More undocumented/illegals entered the US under Biden’s presidency than under any previous administration. Regarding drugs, the grim statistics reveal that over 100,000 Americans died of drug overdoses annually during each of the first three years of the Biden administration. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) anticipates that the death toll will surpass 100,000 again this year.

Riley Gaines was among the 16 current and former female athletes who filed a lawsuit against the NCAA on Thursday, saying the organization’s transgender policy violates Title IX.
Gaines, an OutKick contributor who hosts the “Gaines for Girls” podcast and is the director of the Riley Gaines Center at the Leadership Institute, explained why it was time for them to take action against the organization.
“It was time someone took action. I thought to myself for so long, ‘I wish someone would sue,’” the former Kentucky swimmer said on “OutKick The Morning.” “That’s how we win, someone has to sue – never once occurring to me that I could be a part of this, I could really help spearhead this along with ICONS and 15 other athletes that signed onto this lawsuit.”

“This legislation will help us ensure rogue and incompetent prosecutors are held accountable if they refuse to uphold the law,” Kemp said before signing the bill, flanked by Republican legislative leaders. “As we know all too well, crime has been on the rise across the country, and is especially prevalent in cities where prosecutors are giving criminals a free pass or failing to put them behind bars due to lack of professional conduct.”

Fani Willis dodged a bullet Friday when a judge ruled she can remain as prosecutor on the Trump election interference case — but she’s not in the clear just yet.
Fulton County, Georgia, Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee may have allowed her to continue on the case as long as special prosecutor and her ex-boyfriend Nathan Wade steps away from it, but his ruling reprimanded their conduct — which hurts her credibility both inside and outside the courtroom.
Wade put in his resignation later Friday, saying it was “in the interest of democracy, in dedication to the American public, and to move this case forward as quickly as possible.”
While she is likely to meet former President Donald Trump and his co-defendants in court, “the DA is firmly on notice that any additional mishaps and missteps will come back to haunt her severely,” according to Georgia State University law professor Anthony Kreis.

8 Flights Report Being Hit By Green Lasers At Cheyenne Airport; FAA Investigation Open
A push is on to find and prosecute whoever is blinding pilots with green lasers as they prepare to land at the airport in Cheyenne. Pointing a laser at an aircraft is a federal crime and it’s happened at least eight times so far this year.
After a string of incidents involving green lasers being pointed at pilots as they approach to land, Cheyenne Regional Airport administrators are issuing a warning to stop or face steep fines.
Airport Director of Aviation Tim Bradshaw told Cowboy State Daily that while green lasers have been an issue with air travel for years, he has never seen as many incidents in such a short amount of time as he has this year.
“I think we’re on our eighth one so far this year,” Bradshaw said. “I’ve never seen anything like this. We are actively looking into who is responsible for this.”

Today I decide to go shopping and what a day it was. I had to drive 100 miles to Sudbury but it was well worth it. I grinned from ear to ear when I saw, written on the stone cut out on a main thoroughfare in about a foot and a half high letters approximately 30 feet long, “YOU WILL OWN NOTHING AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY”. Sadly everyone I spoke to did not know what it meant. They do now.
