Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    Former CIA Director and architect of Spygate John Brennan said the intel community will withhold key information from Trump’s security briefings this summer.

    President Trump will get intel briefings after he secures the GOP nomination this summer.

    Brennan told MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace that his former colleagues would give Trump analysis without sources and methods.

    “It’s somewhat surreal that an individual who is under indictment for mishandling classified information is going to be getting classified intelligence briefings, but it is traditionally provided to the candidates for president by the sitting president,” Brennan said.

    He continued, “I’m pretty certain that my former intelligence colleagues will provide briefings that are not going to do any type of damage to sources and methods in terms of providing information to Donald Trump that he could misuse. But they will provide briefings and overviews of some of the world’s hot spots letting Donald Trump know what the assessments are.”

    “I think it will be analysis devoid of sources and methods…the kinds of things he had in the bathroom and other areas of Mar-a-Lago,” Brennan said.

    A man identified as Steve Nikoui, the father of Marine Lance Col. Kareem Nikoui who was killed in the August 21, 2021 terrorist attack on Abbey Gate at the Kabul Airport during Joe Biden’s retreat from Afghanistan that killed thirteen U.S. servicemembers and about 170 Afghan civilians trying to flee the triumphant Taliban, was arrested and put in handcuffs by security at the Capitol Thursday night after he heckled Biden about the attack during the State of the Union address. Listeners heard Nikoui call out “United States Marines!” and “Abbey Gate!” among other things in the brief outburst. Nikoui was reportedly charged with a misdemeanor.

  10. Pro-Palestinian protests ‘making London no-go zone for Jews’

    Pro-Palestinian protests are turning London into “a no-go zone for Jews”, the counter-extremism tsar said as he warned that extremist groups have “gone unchallenged for too long”.

    Writing for The Telegraph, Robin Simcox, the Home Office’s independent adviser on extremism, said the Government and its agencies had powers to combat extremism but had failed to tackle groups that “lurked” just below the threshold of being terrorists.

    He issued the warning after Rishi Sunak urged protesters last week not to “let the extremists hijack your marches”, and with Michael Gove preparing to announce a broader definition of extremism.

    Mr Simcox said the “permissive environment for radicalisation” developing in the UK meant that activities such as pro-Palestinian protests, which he said leave parts of the capital off-limits to Jews, had become “normalised”.

    He warned that the same applied to Iran’s sponsorship of British schools and mosques, the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas’s support for British charities and extremist TV channels operating on UK soil.

    “We have not betrayed democracy if extremists are no longer able to operate television channels,” he said. “And we will not have become an authoritarian state if London is no longer permitted to be turned into a no-go zone for Jews every weekend.

    “All these things and more have become normalised in the UK. It is why I have warned of a permissive environment for radicalisation developing that needs urgently addressing. These groups have gone unchallenged for too long, and have used their time well. They are now embedded and influential among communities.”

  12. TOC Ready Room 7 March 2024: Bridge to Gaza, Bag checks in NY

    What’s wrong and right with the world.

    Reporting that ramped up from 6 to 7 March 2024 indicates President Joe Biden is to announce in his State of the Union (SOTU) address Thursday night that the U.S. military will be building a temporary pier off the Gaza coast to facilitate delivery of aid by sea. (Update: he did announce it.)

    Reaction to this news is decidedly mixed. Critics point out, among other things, that aid delivered by sea will face the same hurdle it faces when delivered by land. Hamas will seize it first. It won’t get to Gazan non-combatants who may need it.

    There is no reason to hope otherwise. The reports on this development state that the Biden administration won’t be putting U.S. personnel ashore, which means the U.S. won’t have a security presence for escorting the aid. Reactions suggest most Americans don’t want that anyway. Putting American service members between the aid and armed Hamas terrorists doesn’t sound like a good idea.

    Haiti is adrift, with a missing-in-action Prime Minister and anarchy in the streets, where ‘the people with the guns’ rule.

    The heavily armed gang-rebels have been staging attacks that paralyzed the capital of Port-au-Prince.

    They have burned police stations, shot up the main international airport, and raided Haiti’s two biggest prisons, freeing almost 5,000 inmates.

    So yesterday (7), whatever is left of Haiti’s government extended the state of emergency and nighttime curfew.

    Meanwhile, PM Henry has traveled to Kenya to push for the deployment of a U.N.-backed ‘police’ force from the East African country to fight gangs.

    Henry is now in Puerto Rico, where he was forced to land on Tuesday after armed groups attacked the international airport, forcing it to shut and preventing him from returning.

    The contempt that far-left protesters show for historical artifacts, specifically priceless works of art, has always been sickening, but now has just gotten despicable.

    Picking up where the insufferable climate protesters left off, a group of anti-Israel activists at the University of Cambridge in England destroyed a priceless 1914 painting of Arthur James Balfour by artist Philip Alexius de László.

    Posting a video of the incident to their account, Palestine Action, on the social media platform X, the protesters spray painted red paint on the painting and then slashed it without any hint of shame.

    Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville joined Steve Bannon on The War Room on Friday following Joe Biden’s incredibly partisan and completely dishonest State of the Union Address to the American people last night in Washington DC.

    During their discussion, Tommy was asked about the climate change craze. The former Auburn coach did not hold back. Tuberville told the War Room audience, “Climate Change is the biggest hoax in the world.” He then added that he believes around 25% of the budget is dumped into climate change policies.

    There are obviously a whole lot of grifters getting rich of the “hoax.”

    The Democrat Party and their mainstream media will not be pleased with Tommy following his honest assessment of the international scam.

    Democrat Fani Willis’ legal troubles extend beyond recent revelations that she deceptively hired her otherwise under-qualified, secret, married lover to run the political prosecution of former President Donald Trump and other Republicans in Georgia. A new book from Mike Isikoff and Daniel Klaidman admits that a widely misunderstood phone call, on which Willis’ political prosecution rests, was illegally recorded. That means the entire prosecution could crumble with defendants having a new avenue to challenge Democrat lawfare.

    Find Me the Votes: A Hard-Charging Georgia Prosecutor, a Rogue President, and the Plot to Steal an American Election is a fawning political biography of Willis. For context on the bias of the authors, Isikoff was an original Russia-collusion hoaxer, and his articles to that end were used to secure warrants for the FBI to spy on innocent Republican presidential campaign advisers such as Carter Page.

    A mega-yacht seized by U.S. authorities from a Russian oligarch is costing the government nearly $1 million a month to maintain, according to new court filings.

    The U.S. Department of Justice is seeking permission to sell a 348-foot yacht called Amadea, which it seized in 2022, alleging that it was owned by sanctioned Russian billionaire Suleiman Kerimov. The government said it wants to sell the $230 million yacht due to the “excessive costs” of maintenance and crew, which it said could total $922,000 a month.

    “It is excessive for taxpayers to pay nearly a million dollars per month to maintain the Amadea when these expenses could be reduced to zero through [a] sale,” according to a court filing by U.S. prosecutors on Friday.

    The monthly charges for Amadea, which is now docked in San Diego, California, include $600,000 per month in running costs: $360,000 for the crew; $75,000 for fuel; and $165,000 for maintenance, waste removal, food and other expenses. They also include $144,000 in monthly pro-rata insurance costs and special charges including dry-docking fees, at $178,000, bringing the total to $922,000, according to the filings.
