Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  3. A California man has become the first person in the United States charged with illegally smuggling greenhouse gases into the country, officials said Monday.

    Michael Hart of San Diego was arrested under the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act of 2020, which prohibits the importation of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) without proper permits from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

    HFCs are potent greenhouse gases commonly found in refrigerators and air conditioners, building insulation, fire extinguishing systems, and aerosols. They can be hundreds to thousands of times more potent than carbon dioxide at trapping heat in the atmosphere, exacerbating the climate crisis.

    According to the Department of Justice, Hart purchased refrigerants in Mexico and smuggled them into the United States in his vehicle, hidden under a tarp and tools.

    International Intrigue on a Ranch in Texas – The Angela Chao Story

    Angela Chao, the sister of Elaine Chao (wife of retiring Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell, Republican Senate Minority Leader), died in her car on February 11, 2024. Angela was found in a submerged car, unresponsive, first responders attempted to revive her, but were unsuccessful. The pond was on a ranch close to Johnson City in Blanco County, Texas, about 40 miles west of Austin. The ranch was reportedly owned by a business entity of Chao’s husband, Jim Breyer, a Venture Capitalist who has offices in Austin.

    The Sheriff of Blanco County is Don Jackson, and the matter has now been deemed a criminal investigation, which blocks the release of many details to the public. In a letter to Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, Sheriff Jackson said, “This incident was not a typical accident.”.

    Angela Chao was also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Foremost Group, a privately held business entity that was the largest American owner of bulk shipping merchant vessels (all the vessels were flagged in other countries). The ships alone were valued at $1.2B five years ago, but there were other activities of the Foremost Group that because it is privately held, are not fully known. Power, wealth, international connections, privately held business group, China, Taiwan, America; there are many branches and sequels to this story and now a criminal investigation is ongoing.

    China is uninvestable?

    Jim Breyer appears to be a mover and shaker in the Globalist world. He was part owner of the Boston Celtics, part of the National Basketball Association which has deep ties to China. At the most recent Davos Forum (January 18, 2024), he was asked by a Forbes interviewer, Lisa Abramowicz about investing in China, which she referenced was “uninvestable”. Jim’s response was interesting (4:47) “I never think of China as uninvestable…”. He then says, “we’ve backed in the last couple of years a number of wonderful entrepreneurs who’ve moved to Singapore”. I’d say he’s avoiding criticism of China with this response. It appears he’s talking about Chinese nationals with talent or international talent in China departing China. He goes on and talks about his passion for quantum computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI). “All of my investing for the last several years has been in the U.S. … where I believe the best talent and opportunities are”.

    When pressed further about China, Jim said, “I took an 18 month pause” in regard to investing in China. Another artful response, threading the needle without appearing to directly criticize China. Lisa then asked Jim if he’d met with Generals in Davos, and yes, of course, our favorite General was brought up, General Milley, whom Jim mentioned he had talked to. With all due respect, I don’t believe General Retired Milley would know AI from Windows 10, but Jim assures Lisa that we’re ahead of China – another demerit for Jim.

    From a Chinese Social Credit ranking of Jim’s comments, he’s probably well into the negative numbers as his Chinese security case officers review and grade his comments Not good for Jim. There are so many coded elements to Jim’s statements. His comments belied a much larger issue than simple exfiltration of capital from China which is becoming an outbound torrent, but the reality is clear for anyone doing business in China, things are going south and the time to physically get out is now. China is becoming quite aggressive about blocking departures of non-Chinese citizens who are attempting to depart China. Even before the demise of Angela Chao, I would have noted Jim’s coded responses. Now that a criminal investigation is on-going, his Davos statements should be noted and tagged as exhibits. Jim’s investment firm, IDG Capital Partners has been identified as a Chinese Communist Party Military Company, which is pretty significant.

    The Chao Family has deep Taiwan connections

    The story of the Chao Family’s rise to wealth is a bit atypical of families fleeing the Communist takeover of the mainland in 1949. The father, Dr. James S.C. Chao was at sea on a Chinese ship as a junior officer which went to Taiwan. James moved to New York in 1958 and in 1964 returned to Taiwan and opened Foremost Shipping. The CIA enabled parallel analogues of Foremost like Civil Air Transport (which evolved into the more well-known Air America) and perhaps one of Foremost’s Competitors, Evergreen Shipping, which may have been related to Evergreen Airlines, one of the historic CIA proprietary airlines. Does this mean that Foremost had CIA connections? The reality was that at that time, the 1950s and 1960s, the Republic of China (Taiwan) had a pervasive CIA footprint and just about every shipping line and airline had a CIA touchpoint in one form or another. Foremost and Dr. Chao very likely had KMT connections and KMT funding to stand up Foremost. The KMT was founded and led by Chiang Kai Shek, the leader of Nationalist China who led the retreat to Taiwan to stand up the Republic of China. And if there were KMT connections there was at least a tangential connection with the CIA.

    Foremost (and Evergreen) have become successful ventures well past the CIA connected glory days of the 1950s and 1960s. James and his wife Ruth had six children and Angela became the CEO and Chairman of the Board for the Privately held Foremost Group. Her list of accomplishments is long. Noteworthy is that she had been on the board of the Bank of China, originally the bank of record for Nationalist China and the KMT, but now squarely in the hands of the Chinese Communist Party. Angela was also on the China State Shipbuilding Corporation Board, which is also on the same Department of Defense blacklist as her husband’s investment company. Some very deep connections between Jim, Angela, and malign activity of the CCP.

    The Tesla Connection?

    The Tesla connection with the death of Angela Chao is a potential treasure trove of forensic data for the investigators. Tesla is heavily intertwined with the CCP and the battery rare earth metals are connected with China as well as a heavy footprint of Tesla data centers and data flow from all Tesla vehicles from around the world. Years ago we studied remote access to vehicles and without the vehicle having internet connected actuators to the steering wheel, accelerator, brake, and other features, it was hard to do much besides turn the Air Conditioning on and off, which could be very annoying, but little else. Back then there was not an IT connection to the key elements of vehicles control – with Tesla, there is. Remote access and operation of these critical vehicle controls is well within the world of the possible for a Tesla vehicle, but there would also likely be a cyber evidence trail with system logs.

    One interesting find is that in January, a publicly listed group called “Foremost Lithium” secured access to lithium deposits in Canada. Is Foremost Lithium connected to Foremost Group? I couldn’t find a connection, but it is an interesting name occurrence. Lithium access in Canada would be great for electric vehicle batteries. Australia and Chile produce most Lithium, but for some reason Tesla uses a China based lithium supply chain.

    What does this all mean? There are a lot of China connections with Angela Chao and Jim Breyer. In Davos, it sure seemed like he was avoiding China by lauding everyone but China. The oddity of his company being on the DOD list is also greatly concerning. Hopefully the Blanco County Sheriff and the Texas Attorney General can do a clean revelation of truth before the FBI comes in to cover up everything.

    The Gateway Pundit investigated the “voting rights groups” that were invited to this White House event with Kamala Harris.

    Kamala Harris announced new steps in a meeting with the groups last Tuesday, February 27th in the White House. Kamala announced that college students would get paid to sign up people to vote. What could go wrong?
    Via Newsmax: “We have been doing work to promote voter participation for students,” she said. “For example, we have under the Federal Work-Study Program, now allow students to get paid, through Federal Work-Study, to register people and to be nonpartisan poll workers.”

    The Gateway Pundit found a list of the participants from the “voting rights groups” who were invited to the White House event.

    We were not surprised to find that EVERY SINGLE group invited was a far-left group – including The Southern Poverty Law Center, The Brennan Center for Justice, the NAACP, and League of Conservation Voters.

    Revelations have emerged that the Biden regime has been operating secret charter flights to transport illegal immigrants from foreign airports to various U.S. cities. This covert operation has been ongoing amidst an unprecedented influx of illegal aliens across the southern border.

    Customs and Border Protection (CBP), an agency under Alejandro Mayorka’s Department of Homeland Security, has been at the forefront of these operations, which have remained undisclosed to the public.

    In a recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, lawyers for CBP refused to reveal details about the program, citing potential national security vulnerabilities, according to Daily Mail.

    The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), a think tank known for advocating tighter immigration controls, reported that these obscure flights have facilitated the entry of approximately 320,000 illegal aliens into at least 43 different airports in the US. These figures were disclosed for the period ranging from January through December 2023.

    It has been suggested that the CBP One mobile application played a pivotal role in this operation. The app, originally intended to simplify the asylum application process, appears to have been repurposed to grant travel authorization and temporary humanitarian release to individuals from various countries.

    The migrants, once approved via CBP One, have been allowed to enter and remain in the U.S. for up to two years under a special parole provision, during which time they are also eligible to work. This has occurred notwithstanding the lack of legal status for these individuals to reside in the country.

    America Is In The Throes Of Tyranny: Heavily Armed & Very Dangerous Citizens are the Cure

    This is a follow-up to our previous article, posted in Ammoland Shooting Sports News, on February 20, 2024, and titled, “Is Armed Rebellion a Legal Right for Americans?”
    Our Nation’s true Patriots, who cherish the right of the people to keep and bear arms against the incursion of tyranny, would view the question as rhetorical.

    The Radical Left Obstructors and Destructors of our Free Republic would likely see the question as inane. Regardless, the question is serious, of perennial significance, and deserving of our attention. The question is not to be taken lightly, and it is not to be taken as inane. This is the principal question for us today. How one answers it has repercussions for our Country: Exclaiming eternal life for our Republic or marking its expiration date.

    No less so for the Framers of our Constitution, this question was and is the ultimate, all-important question, ever insistent and demanding—not something to be indefinitely deferred or rebuffed.

    It served as the focus of their work in creating a Nation unlike the world had ever seen. The American people are and remain the sole sovereign over the Government.

    Government Tyranny violates a sacred trust between the people and the Government.

    Tyranny amounts to the unlawful usurpation of the sovereignty of the authority of the American people over the Government. Such usurpation is inconsistent with the limited powers of the Government, established in the Articles of the Constitution.

    Surely, the American people had [and have] the moral right to resist Tyranny—with force of arms if need be—if, as they found necessary, must be, and as it happened, at a singular moment in time in our history (and that of the world) came to be.

    America’s Patriots made their moral argument plain by crafting their “Declaration of Independence” (embedded above & below) from Tyranny—a blatant affront to the legally constituted authority, the British Monarchy, to whom they owed allegiance, however begrudgingly they must give to it.

    The English philosopher John Locke directly and profoundly influenced our Nation’s “Declaration of Independence.” The Framers of the U.S. Constitution studied the political-philosophical works of John Locke carefully, intensely, and profusely. See, e.g., the article in Brittanica.

    That sacred document provided the moral impetus for the American people to rebel against Tyranny, operating against the Monarch’s “legal” authority to reign over them.

    The “Declaration of Independence” content is grounded on Natural, Eternal God-given Law. It is not grounded on the Laws of Man or of Man’s artifice—Government.

    Man has the moral right and the moral duty to resist Tyranny by all means necessary to secure Freedom and Liberty to which he is entitled under Divine Law. That fact is plain.

    But, commensurate with the “Moral Right” and Duty, do Americans have the “Legal Right” and obligation to resist Tyranny?

    Americans did not have a legal right to rebel against the Tyranny of an unjust British Ruler—only the moral right to do so, knowing full well they would be hanged as traitors to “The Crown” if they failed in their endeavor. Fortunately for all of us, they succeeded admirably.
    But the pressing question for us Americans today is this: Is Armed Rebellion against Tyranny a Legal Right, apart from a Moral Imperative, for Americans?

    Some scholars say the Framers did answer this principal and insistent question they had posed for themselves and claim they responded with a resounding “no.”

    Other scholars demonstrate hesitancy before volunteering their response, with either a “yes” or “no.”

    We, however, do not respond “no” to the question, nor will a person sense any hesitancy in our voice. We respond with a resounding “yes,” and from our research, we argue the Founders of our Republic, the Framers of our Constitution, did so as well.
    Both the “Legal Right” and the “Moral Right” are encapsulated in the Second Amendment of our Nation’s Bill of Rights of our Constitution.

    How did the leading minds among America’s First Patriots hammer this out? What brought them to consider and to include our Nation’s Bill of Rights, one year after ratification of the Articles of the Constitution?

    They began with the premise that “Freedom and Liberty” must be more than a fanciful desire or desirous yet confoundingly difficult aim.

    The manifestation of “Freedom And Liberty” into reality was, for them, not merely an academic exercise—a mere Utopian dream—something to come to pass at some point, hopefully in the future, perhaps, but not during their time. It was and is the quintessential foundation upon which an inchoate Nation would come to fruition, else it ought not to come to be. They knew that it would never come to be and persist if they did not construct a tenable basis for it.

    “Freedom and Liberty” are inconsistent with “Tyranny.” There is no common ground on this. It is one or the other—one cannot have a little of each.

    Consider: Modern-day CCP China operates as a brutal Dictatorship. This is plain to all. Singapore is viewed as a “Benign” Dictatorship if one can allow for an oxymoron here. The Governments of both, however, are equally Tyrannical: Not just a little bit in the case of one and not the other. Just try expressing a contrary thought. Just try making a case for keeping and bearing arms in either Country or following through with your conviction. See where that takes you. See what that gets you.

    The conundrum for America’s intellectual minds in hammering out a Constitution after the American Revolution involved first deciding whether their Nation should suffer a strong, centralized “Federal” Government.
    These learned men knew that Government—all Government—bears the seeds of Tyranny within it. It is the devil incarnate. They harbored no illusion about that.

    They had not long before pointed to the moral right of the American people to confront Tyranny head-on, as these men and many thousands more Patriots had fought and died to defeat Tyranny—not an easy task, and costly, in lives, not just in money, but wholly necessary. These First Patriots sought to avoid Tyranny, like the plague, and fully intended to do so in this nascent Nation, if at all humanly possible.

    The Framers of the Constitution determined—some of them, but not all, and many more of them, reluctantly—that this fledgling Nation, like any other nation, needed a centralized (“Federal”) Government and one with a standing army.

    But that Government would carry within itself the seeds of Tyranny, no matter what they did to prevent such occurrence. They knew this. They did not doubt it. The best they could do is work some legerdemain within the Articles of the Constitution to forestall this, to hamper the rise of Tyranny. That is the inference that many academic scholars draw. But that inference implies the Government can install itself as a Tyranny, and do so legally were there no effective legal remedy to counter it.

    That idea conflicts with the notion the American people are sovereign over Government—a proposition many scholars reject, except in a vacuous colloquial sense, but it is one we take as axiomatic and purposeful.

    Since the Tyranny of Government could be forestalled but never prevented at best, it behooves the people, the ultimate sovereign and final arbiter over Government, to exert control over Government as a parent must control a child that tends to be a wayward brat.

    The insistent question for the Founders of our Republic, though, was how to conform the moral right of the “Declaration of Independence” into law, to protect a Free and Sovereign American people against the prospect of a Tyrannical Government that would invariably come to pass …and that has come to pass with a vengeance today.

    For, if no legal antecedent existed for countering Tyranny, then the Tyrant could claim before the fact that rebellion against that Tyranny is never legally and constitutionally justified, notwithstanding the moral imperative the people may feel for doing so.

    The Tyrant can claim a “legal” right to clamp down on the armed citizenry to defang the citizenry before the fact because he has the “consent of the governed.” And he would have reason to do so, for self-protection, to safeguard his Tyranny.

    We see this happening, albeit couched in propagandistic slogans such as “America must Stop Gun Violence” and “No one needs an ‘Assault Weapon’ in a civilized society.” This is a mere absurd deflection to grab inattentive Americans emotionally. The aim is to stunt the growth of the Americans’ intellect and inhibit the use of Americans’ rational faculties, preventing them from seeing through the charade.

    The Constitution the Framers constructed—the Articles alone—has not sufficed to protect the Common Man from the wiles of powerful, ruthless forces that have captured the Government, commandeering it for their own selfish uses against the interests of the American people.

    The Framers knew the Articles would provide, at best, a stopgap—nothing more.

    So, the Framers feared Tyranny would come to America at some point—not merely could come to America. They would not be surprised that it has come to America, albeit it has taken two centuries for it to become glaringly obvious.

    “The right of the people to keep and bear arms,” a right that “shall not be infringed”, serves as the ultimate failsafe to thwart tyranny.

    The Second Amendment operates as the embodiment of the Nation’s Declaration of Independence, codified in the Constitution.

    The Second Amendment, therefore, serves a dual purpose.

    It sanctifies, in writing, the preeminent Moral God-given Natural Law Mandate in the framework of Constitutional Law.

    The Antifederalists, among the Framers, insisted on codifying the moral imperative and prerogative in the Constitution’s Bill of Rights.

    Why did they persevere in this? They did so for two reasons:

    First, once the Eternal Moral Right to confront and extinguish Tyranny is committed, established, and dedicated to writing, a Tyrant cannot thereafter pretend it doesn’t exist. The Tyrant cannot reasonably proclaim an unjust reign to be righteous and just. Since it is not, the people retain the moral right to depose the Tyrant by force of arms if need be.
    Second, since etched (codified in writing) in the Constitution, the Moral Right to thwart Tyranny by force of arms, if need be, operates as the Legal Mechanism through which the people may lawfully depose the Tyrant.

    So, the “Declaration of Independence” did make its way into the U.S. Constitution, after all, somewhat subtly, no doubt, but still plain enough for even an obtuse Tyrant to recognize, and at its peril were it to fail to heed.

    As many have stated here before, “Stay Heavily Armed and Very Dangerous.”

    The most important case against Donald Trump today is, arguably, the one presently before the U.S. Supreme Court: Trump vs. Anderson, a case coming out of Colorado.

    “The Colorado Supreme Court held that President Donald J. Trump is disqualified from serving as president under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment.”

    Counsel for the Petitioner Trump argued the holding is wrong for many reasons. And he is correct.

    If the majority of the Court concurs (hopefully a unanimous decision), that will send a clear message to the States, forbidding them from denying the electorate the right to vote for their candidate of choice for U.S. President merely on the ground that a State Government proclaims a candidate for Public Office, an insurrectionist under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment.

    It is not our purpose here to go into an examination of and explication of the import of Section 3 nor to go into the arguments pro and con that scholars and commentators have elucidated to date for keeping Trump’s name on or off the ballot in Colorado (and by extension, on or off the ballot in other States), based on the interpretation of Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment.
    The idea of Trump as an insurrectionist is false, even absurd!?

    He isn’t an insurrectionist, but it is not the purpose of this article to go into the whys and wherefores of that issue either.
    But it is necessary to discuss the concept of ‘insurrection’ as it relates to this Country.

    During the Oral Argument on February 8, 2024, the High Court dealt at length with the import of “insurrection.” The transcript mentions the word at least 85 times. Our purpose here is to propound a matter the High Court didn’t consider and, to our knowledge, no one has. Yet it is one that implicates a matter that goes to the heart of the salient issue:

    Whether the American people do have the right to rebel against tyranny, and from a legal standpoint, apart from the decidedly moral one.

    There is a question of what Government’s acts are so egregious as to amount to Tyranny of Government and, therefore, sufficient justification for the citizenry’s taking up arms against that Government.

    But even that question isn’t the first and central question to be asked and answered.

    For, we don’t get to that question if, under no set of circumstances, Americans are not legally permitted to take up arms against the Government.

    That is an argument many scholars have made, and it is presumed by the myriad of articles one comes across in the mainstream media.

    The inference is that, even if the Government does become indisputably dictatorial, hence tyrannical, the citizenry does not have a legal (statutory) right or a right under the Constitution to use force of arms to topple that Government.

    But is that true? And, if so, what recourse do Americans have against Tyranny if not through armed rebellion?

    And we are assuming here that a Despot would not permit a fair election. There cannot, of course, be free and fair elections in a dictatorship. That would be a contradiction in terms.

    So, if the public cannot resort to the Electoral Process to rid itself of a Tyrant, and if the public cannot resort to force of arms, then where does that leave the American public? Nowhere!

    This suggests the Constitution tacitly bears the seeds of its dissolution, except for the fact that the public is well-armed. And that explains why the Government—this Biden Administration, along with the Press and social media—has long argued for stringent constraints on firearms and continues to do so, more and more vociferously with each passing month.

    The Radical Left knows how to scream and shout but falls short of logic and internal consistency in its positions.
    Trump versus Anderson is a case in point.

    If, as the Colorado Supreme Court holds, Trump is an insurrectionist whose name must not appear on the State ballot for U.S. President, based on Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution, then the Colorado Supreme Court has just held that the Government can itself be an insurrectionist, i.e., a Tyrant.

    Colorado is saying that the Second Branch of Government, the U.S. President, Donald Trump, was an insurrectionist, i.e., a Tyrant (Despot) when he served as President through his actions on January 6, 2021.

    But then, if the head of Government is an insurrectionist, i.e., a Tyrant, then, by logical implication, that provides a legal, not simply a moral, basis for the American people to rebel against Tyranny whenever they see Tyranny in their Government.

    Colorado is itself a rebel, then, rebelling against what it has determined to be a U.S. President as an Insurrectionist, namely, a Tyrant. Colorado is claiming a legal basis for acting against Trump qua Tyrant, keeping his name off the ballot in the upcoming 2024 General Election, to prevent “the Tyrant” from becoming U.S. President again.

    Apart from Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, the word ‘insurrection’ does not appear in the Constitution but in the Congressional Statute, yet undefined.

    18 USCS § 2383 (Rebellion and Insurrection) sets forth,

    “Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”

    Well, if Trump, as U.S. President, can be considered an insurrectionist, i.e., a Tyrant, then so can Joe Biden.

    The point isn’t theoretical. The Colorado Supreme Court has proclaimed that Donald J. Trump, as President Trump, was an insurrectionist.

    Again, this is tantamount to saying Trump was a Tyrant and that Colorado can act against a Tyrant by preventing that Tyrant from ever again serving as President or holding any other Federal Government position.

    Colorado’s act of rebellion, in this instance, amounts to preventing Colorado voters from voting for a Past President of the United States to serve another term in Office, whom Colorado has declared to have been a Tyrant through an act or acts of insurrection having taken place on January 6, 2021.
    This has serious implications for the Biden Government.

    If the Colorado Supreme Court is correct, then the question of whether the Biden Government is tyrannical is not theoretical. It is real and deeply problematic.

    It means that if the Biden Government truly is tyrannical (whether it is Biden and his Government or some shadowy, sinister force behind Biden and his Administration orchestrating Biden’s actions and the actions of his Administration), then the American citizenry does have a legal basis for overthrowing the Insurrectionist Despot Tyrant Joe Biden and all those connected with him.

    Again, keep in mind Colorado has said that Trump was an insurrectionist at a time when Trump still served as President of the United States, wielding legitimate Article 2 power and authority, as President.

    So, from a logical point of view, does Colorado want to maintain that Trump is, or even could be, an insurrectionist in his capacity as U.S. President? If so, then the State just opened the door to the possibility that Biden and those behind him can be insurrectionists, ergo tyrants, and, if so, then the armed public has the legal right to depose them under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

    Insurrection by the Government against the citizenry is tyranny. And the citizenry now has a statutory basis to revolt against a Tyrant if Colorado is correct. And a better claim can be made that Biden and his puppet masters are more the Tyrant than Trump ever was or could be, and Biden is presently serving as President. Trump isn’t.
    Do Americans have a legal right to overthrow the tyrannical Biden Government and those behind him, then?

    Colorado just made a case for that and never even knew it!

    While we take exception to Colorado’s argument for proclaiming a U.S. President can be found to be an insurrectionist under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, we would argue that the right to rebel against the tyranny of Government is provided for in another section of the Constitution, through which the citizenry does have the legal authority to rebel against tyranny. It is right there in the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights.

    Is it any wonder that the Radical Left in our Country and the Tyrant in command of our Government are attempting to abolish the Second Amendment? Surely, a Tyrannical Government would have reason to.

    Our armed citizenry is a threat to a Tyrannical Federal Government.

    A Government operating within the bounds of the law need not fear the armed citizenry.

    The Biden Administration (and those orchestrating the Biden Administration’s every move) do fear the armed citizenry. They have made their fear of the armed citizenry known through executive actions and vehement, virulent protestations against the Second Amendment.

    A recent opinion piece at the Kansas City Star tells us: “We don’t have to accept the KC Chiefs rally shooting. And we should all be angry”

    While this may look on the surface like just another anti-gun screed that divorces fact from context, I’ve noticed that authoritarian progressives have been using the “I want you to be angry!” bit a lot more in recent months. In this article, I’ll not only explore the problems with the piece’s facts and context, but explain why they’re so desperate for anger.
    Category Errors

    The whole argument that this shooting supports gun control stems from a category error. The piece conveniently never mentions that this was a gang shooting and not some mass killer with political or psychotic motives. So, when the piece goes through the usual laundry list of things anti-gun people want, none of it applies.

    Just a tiny pinch of common sense tells us that criminals don’t care one bit about getting a permit for their guns, so the constitutional carry law in Kansas would not have prevented this shooting. The writer (a “researcher” at a Bloomberg-funded anti-gun institution) says that their research says constitutional carry is bad, so there’s no room left for common sense in her head.

    What about firearms purchasing licenses like the FOID card in Illinois? She calls for bringing those back, but once again, this was gang members who wouldn’t get a firearms purchasing license. Again, endless studies funded by anti-gun donors are given without disclosing that important fact.

    So, all that’s really left is a bogus emotional argument about “doing something” and putting all pro-gun arguments “to rest”.
    The Effect of Anger On The Human Brain

    Sadly, though, this stuff actually works on the uninformed. When someone brings up a tragedy and says that we should be angry, people who don’t know better and don’t keep context in mind will get angry. After all, think of the children!

    But, people don’t have to be stupid to fall for this trick, just uninformed. Once a propagandist gets someone to be angry, heart rates go up and adrenaline gets into the system. When people get to that point, higher brain functions are diminished, and people just can’t think clearly.

    Going back to ancient times, this was a very useful thing. When you’re facing a threat, you don’t have time to overthink anything. By shutting off the more thinky parts of the brain and activating more raw instinct, ancient people were better prepared for a fight or other dangerous situations where you need to act fast.

    But, in 2024, this important human trait can be used against us. With less thinking and more fear to guide us, it’s easy to make mistakes, ignore context and get things flat wrong.

    So, when you’re talking to friends and family, try to inoculate them from this. A person’s first reaction to “You should be angry!” should be skepticism. If someone wants you angry, they’re trying to manipulate and use you. So, you have to stop, take a few deep breaths and chill out to think clearly.

    If we can get more friends and family to resist this kind of manipulation, they’ll have a harder time finding fertile ground for the seeds of propaganda.

    TLDR (as I understood the video): elderly couple had a farm with extended family + living there, good relations with local council, council passed ‘planning ordinance’ to turn their farm into a residential area, they would not originally sell at a huge discount so they jailed this couple (under an organized crime charge) in their late 60’s early 70’s until they agreed to sell their farm to a company selected by the council (a land developer, I think) for almost nothing….only then did they release them from jail.

    At the 18 1/2 or so bit in, he describes how he had contacted media with his story only to run into a brick wall.

    Even his defense attorney is working for the Council that stole their farm and jailed them when the had the nerve to protest.

      IDF intercepts drone from Syria over Golan Heights
      An IDF fighter jet intercepted an aerial target that apparently crossed from Syria into Israel’s Golan region on Tuesday morning, Hebrew media reported.

      That incident followed a similar one on Monday night, when the IDF Aerial Defense Array intercepted a “suspicious aerial target” that crossed into Israeli airspace from Lebanon, according to the Israeli military.

      Approximately 10 cross-border rocket launches from Lebanon were also identified on Monday night. A number of the rockets were intercepted, but one hit a utility pole, knocking out power to several towns in Israel’s north.

      IAF jets struck a number of Hezbollah military compounds in southern Lebanon in response, the IDF said.

    Hezbollah is getting stronger and its threat is growing: What can Israel do?

    An attack on March 4 killed one person and injured nine in northern Israel. The victim was Pat Nibin Maxwell, a thirty-one-year-old from India. He was working in Israel.
    His wife is seven months pregnant, India Today reported.

    “The incident happened near Israel’s northern border community of Margaliot, targeting agricultural workers, the Israeli Embassy later confirmed…”

    The attack on March 4 harmed numerous workers. It’s not known if they were the target, but Hezbollah has shown that it is cold and calculating in its attacks. Even though it has launched thousands of unguided rockets, it has also used anti-tank guided missiles to target many specific locations on the border. It has damaged 500 buildings in this war since it began the attacks on October 8, supporting the Hamas massacre the day before.

    Hezbollah is only showing a small piece of its power. In this, it is showing the threat that could emerge in a larger war. This is a threat that has been enabled by the international community over the last two decades. Israel left Lebanon in 2000, and as a reward, in a sense, Hezbollah became exponentially more powerful. This is similar to what happened in Gaza after Israel left.

    In both instances terror groups were moved closer to Israel’s border and with the backing of Iran and connivance of other countries, the groups became massively powerful.

    In essence, Hamas today is like Hezbollah was a decade ago. Hezbollah is considered the stronger of the two groups. However, Hamas showed on October 7 that it poses an existential threat. We now know the number of Hamas tunnels was underestimated.

    In addition, we know Hamas likely pushed messages via third countries that were designed to lure Israel into a false sense that Hamas was “deterred.”
