Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

Canada’s Attorney General stated on Wednesday “There was a risk of serious violence that was a crucial consideration supporting the decision to declare a public order emergency “, Arif Virani testified at the Special Joint Committee on the Declaration of Emergency. The sole purpose of the temporary measures that were made was to bring about a swift, orderly and peaceful end to the circumstances” he claimed.

    No police organization recommended use of the Emergency Act.

    Ottawa resident Justice Richard Mosley, denounced cabinet’s overreaction which “ criminalized the attendance of every single person at those protests regardless of their actions”.

    “Solicitor – client privilege is foundational”, testified Virani. “It is a sacrosanct privilege that existed for centuries in British common law, and it is one this government firmly believes in”.

    However, New Democratic MP Matthew Green ridiculed the claim “Many people come before this committee talking about solicitor-client privilege”, he said. “You identify the Government of Canada as the client; who is the Solicitor?” Asked Green. “I am the Solicitor” replied Virani. “So you are both the Solicitor and the Client? Asked Green. “I wear DIFFERENT HATS at different times” replied Virani. “It is important for Canadians to understand that the Minister of Justice constantly provides as chief law officer of the crown advice to cabinet”, said Virani. “We don’t need a history lesson” replied Green.

    Arif Virani, was first elected to parliament in Parkdale in 2015. He is a Ismaili Muslim who came to Canada in 1972 as an Ugandan Asian refugee. He replaced David Lametti as Attorney General in July of 2023.

    There was no mention of what he thought of the hundreds of thousands of Canadian Patriots who lined the highways, overpasses all across Canada protesting the vaccine mandates. Those who stood up for FREE SPEECH and our freedom.

    I frankly do not understand how the Prime Minister can support the World Economic Forum and the Attorney General and Justice Minister can be a Muslim. “It is fruitless to try to construct a system of life which is half-Islam and half-Jahiliyyah. God does not forgive any association with His person, and He does not accept any association with his revealed way of life. Both are equally Shirk in the sight of God, as both are products of the same mentality.”.

  12. Alleged IS militants in Russia’s North Caucasus were killed in a shootout with security services

    Six alleged members of the Islamic State group were killed in a shootout in Russia’s volatile North Caucasus region, in what the country’s National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) described Sunday as a “counterterrorism operation.”
    According to a statement by the NAC, late on Saturday the six men barricaded themselves in a third-floor apartment in Karabulak, a town of about 30,000 in Russia’s semi-autonomous Republic of Ingushetia. A shootout with security services followed, as surrounding streets were blocked off and residents of the apartment block evacuated to a nearby school, according to Russia’s Interfax agency.
    Heavy gunfire and blasts appearing to come from inside an apartment block could be heard in videos posted by Karabulak residents on social media.
    The NAC did not immediately name the alleged militants, but said three of them were on Russia’s wanted list and all six had been involved in violent acts, including an attack on a traffic police unit last March that killed three officers.
    The local branch of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), the country’s main security agency, announced at 7:30 p.m. local time on Saturday that emergency measures were being brought in the vicinity of the building due to an ongoing “counterterrorism” operation. The restrictions were lifted shortly after midday on Sunday.
    The NAC claimed that security services found automatic weapons, ammunition, hand grenades and homemade explosives inside the apartment where the men were hiding out.
    The agency said that no local residents were hurt, while Baza — a Russian Telegram channel set up by journalists critical of the Kremlin — reported that a man walking by was killed in the shootout. It was not immediately possible to reconcile the conflicting accounts.
    Islamic rebels have fought two full-scale wars with Russian troops in Chechnya, a region neighboring Ingushetia, over the past 20 years. Although the insurgency has been largely suppressed, sporadic attacks persist.
    Ingushetia also suffers frequent violence attributed to insurgents, and both regions have seen unrest following Russia’s military action in Ukraine and a deeply unpopular mobilization order in September 2022.
