This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

  2. Yesterday a friend mentioned some weight-loss drug suggested to him. I think he is right to be hesitant. In fact I’m more amazed as time goes by what some people are willing to put into their own bodies. Drinking, smoking, junk food–they’re all lousy habits. As Perfect Child said once about smoking: it’s hypnotic. But none of these are vanity drugs.

    Are drug companies taking us into a new era? More likely I’m very naive and were are there already.

    It’s like the Longest Yard. The Dems now have to somehow get to the finish line (election) while deflecting all of their malfeaseance. And there are barely two teams playing the game, because both parties are responsible for distorting the country into something unrecognizable. The audience watches on frustrated by the players, wanting only an honest game while knowing they probably won’t get one. The mother of all distortions may be the economy buggered up by whatever lipstick the Fed uses to keep day-to-day life appearing normal. The problem with this is that lipstick won’t suffice when the patient’s lips, now turning blue, need mouth-to-mouth.

      A superb myth busting book, and a relatively easy read, is the Myth of the Andalucian Paradise. All assertions are backed up with references even from the Islamic rulers themselves, and photos of artifacts from the era.

      Very recommended. It not only undoes the propaganda about Islamic rule in Spain, but details where these disinformations come from. Not much of a surprise that a lot of them were from Western academic historians paid by the Saudis. Details are in the book.

      As for the point, when the West was in what they call the Dark Ages, Muslims had been laying siege to Constantinople. This is where all the works of Socrates etc. had been stored, and monks and scholars would study these ideas daily. When the Muslims finally took the city, the monks grabbed the books and headed west to Rome. That is how knowledge was disseminated Westward.

      Muslims generally didn’t care too much for western thought. They brought Persia, which was advanced, backwards once they conquered it.

      Looking at a map of the world by religion and scientific progress, it is pretty easy to see who values the advancement of knowledge and who doesn’t. Not to mention trust based societies.

    Police in Mersin, Turkey, confirmed on Tuesday that they had arrested an unnamed man working at the construction site of the Russian-built Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant in connection with an investigation into the Islamic State.

    According to a translation of a Mersin police statement by the Turkish outlet Duvar, authorities said that the person in question was an employee at the future nuclear power plant site and had obtained work there using a false identity. The person was identified only by the initials “U.A.” and allegedly found to be a Russian citizen, though some reports conflict with that information and state that his nationality remains publicly unknown.

    Crossbow owners could face police checks as part of a government proposal to prevent the weapons from being used in violent attacks.

    The Government is considering the move as part of efforts to ‘step up action to prevent violence on our streets’, the Home Office said.

    The department has launched an eight-week consultation to see if there should be a licensing system to control the use, ownership and supply of crossbows, with anyone looking to buy one facing police checks – similar to regulations already in place for firearms.

    In August 2022, when the Biden regime raided Mar-a-Lago, The Gateway Pundit reported that the FBI “had a personal stake” in retrieving documents at Mar-a-Lago. They were after Spygate documents!

    President Trump declassified a binder on January 19th, 2021, that contains hundreds of pages about the Crossfire Hurricane scandal. It contains damaging information about the corrupt actors involved with our government.

    Two different DOJ Attorney General’s have defied President Trump’s direct lawful order to publish the binder in the Federal Register.

    The DOJ had already made redactions to protect sources & methods, and returned the binder back to the White House. But the corrupt FBI also wanted to hide names. So at the last minute, the DOJ demanded the binder comply with the 1974 Privacy Act.

    The Act requires any “agency” that releases records also to hide personal or identifiable name information. The DOJ knew this Act doesn’t apply to the White House, it was a stall tactic.

    The courts decided this 22 years ago that the Privacy Act was based on FOIA requests, and the White House is not an agency.

    Hours before Trump left office on January 20th, Chief of Staff Mark Meadows gave the binder back to the DOJ, along with this memo. He asked the DOJ to make any Privacy Act redactions “out of an abundance of caution”.

    In the memo, he asks they expeditiously release the binder when it is finished. Meadows foolishly expected this would take 3-4 days. Just the News obtained the Meadows memo from the National Archives, which also denied having a copy of the declassified binder.

    Meadows admits in interviews various agencies often stalled or defied Trump’s orders. Meadows knew better than to rely on the DOJ to release this damaging binder after they left the White House. He should have released the binder to the public himself. But in doing so, there was a chance he would become a target of the DOJ and FBI.

    New details on Monday’s raid of Mar-a-Lago may explain what the FBI was looking for and why the FBI has not released the Spygate documents as they were ordered when President Trump left office.

    According to Paul Sperry, the FBI agents spent 9 hours looking for details President Trump took with him on the Crossfire Hurricane FBI spying scandal.

    The FBI and DOJ cannot let the American public know the truth of their criminal acts and attempted coup of President Trump. So they raided his home, looking for the documents that may indict the organization.

    Jake Sherman from PunchBowl News reports that National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan will brief House Speaker Mike Johnson, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Congressman Jim Himes (D-CT) and Turner tomorrow on the intelligence threat that Turner is referring to.

    CNN is “reporting” (more like speculating) that the threat is related to Russia. We will see if this turns out to be the case.

    Angela Chao, the sister-in-law of Senator Mitch McConnell, has died in a car accident.

    Chao, who is the sister of former U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, served as the CEO of the dry bulk company The Foremost Group, a company with deep ties to the CCP.

    In a statement, the Foremost Group shared, “It is with deep sadness that Foremost Group announces the passing of Angela Chao in a tragic car accident. Angela Chao was a formidable executive and shipping industry leader, as well as a proud and loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife and mother.”

    The Foremost Group and the Chao family have yet to release details regarding the accident, but Kyle Bass, the CIO of Hayman Capital Management, reported, “Chao entered her Tesla and backed into a pond on the ranch and passed away.”

    Bass’s claim has yet to be confirmed.

    On Friday, William Bock III, a former general counsel for the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency and a lawyer with an impressive resume, resigned from his post at the NCAA, citing the organization’s refusal to protect girls’ sports.

    Bock has served in the role for eight years and still has more than a year in his current term. But Bock has chosen to stand up for women and said he can no longer stomach the organization’s radical policies.

    In a letter first obtained by the Washington Examiner, Bock shared, “Although I may not have agreed with the wisdom of every rule in the NCAA rulebook, I believed the intent behind the NCAA’s rules was competitive fairness and protection of equal opportunities for student-athletes.”

    “This conviction has changed as I have watched the NCAA double down on regressive policies which discriminate against female student-athletes.”

    Bock pointed to the NCAA’s three-phase participation policy implemented in 2022 allowing transgender student-athletes to play in their desired sports so long as they met certain requirements.

  20. Three police officers shot in DC conducting arrest warrant for animal cruelty, suspect barricaded

    Three police officers were shot in southeast Washington, DC, Wednesday morning by a suspect who remains barricaded, police said.

    Officers with the Criminal Apprehension Unit were executing a Humane Society arrest warrant for cruelty to animals at a residence around 7:30 a.m. when the suspect opened fire, Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela Smith told reporters at the scene.

    Three officers were shot and sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while a fourth was also injured but was not shot, Smith explained.

    The subject — who has not been named publicly — remains barricaded inside the residence and is still occasionally shooting at police in the area, the police chief said.

    Clinton County, N.Y. Sheriff David Favro joined ‘Fox & Friends First’ to discuss how the migrant crisis has impacted the northern border as Mayorkas faces another impeachment vote.

    A New York sheriff sounded the alarm on “Fox & Friends First” Tuesday about the “significant increase” in illegal immigration at the northern U.S. border.

    Clinton County sheriff David Favro told hosts Todd Piro and Carley Shimkus that migrants will do “just about anything” to cross the border. The county sits along the Canadian border in the northeast corner of New York.

    “People are incredibly desperate and we all know what happens when people are desperate. They’ll do just about anything to accomplish their own personal goals,” said Favro, adding that migrants are not prepared for the extreme cold and rough terrain and some have drowned trying to cross waterways.

    Favro said “none of this is humane,” and if Congress closed the borders today it would take about five to six years to “get back onto our feet.”

    “What we saw recently with the attack on our colleagues and law enforcement down in New York City, was just repulsive. And it’s somewhat alarming that our government can stand by and watch something like that happen and think that it’s in any way remotely acceptable and not going to continue to be a larger future problem.”

    Favro described how individuals are crossing from Canada into the United States.

    “You have individuals coming from foreign countries that have significant amounts of money. So those families can afford to pay for transportation. They can actually take them, get a plane ride and fly right into Montreal and then work their way down to the border. And many others are being smuggled. Many others are ending up with package deals that they can buy from the cartels, upwards of $10,000-12,000, to be able to give them maps to get themselves up through the landline from Mexico, all the way up here to Canada,” he said.

    New York, Vermont and New Hampshire counties have seen a record uptick in illegal border crossings in the last quarter as more migrants are reportedly crossing into Canada to avoid detection.

    As more migrants swarm the southern border, increasing numbers have turned to the less-fortified, more expansive U.S.-Canada border, the New York Times noted in a report published Sunday, detailing how U.S. officials at the northern border have recorded 191,603 encounters with people crossing into the United States last year, a 41% increase from 2022.

    While most still use legal ports of entry, more than 12,200 migrants were apprehended crossing illegally from Canada in 2023, a 241% uptick from the 3,578 arrested the previous year.

    Canada does not require travelers from Mexico to have a visa to enter the country. As a result, the Times report said, a 295-mile strip of the border along those northeastern states known as the Swanton Sector has seen a tremendous increase.

    Three separate shooting incidents have been reported on Wednesday, prompting an urgent response from law enforcement agencies.

    A distressing episode unfolded on Wednesday as four students from Benjamin E. Mays High School were injured in a shooting incident in the school’s lower campus parking lot, authorities confirmed.

    The Atlanta Police Department reported that the gunfire originated from an unidentified vehicle shortly after the school day ended, according to Channel 2 Action News.

    “Shortly after dismissal, shots were fired from an unknown vehicle, striking four students at Benjamin E. Mays High School lower campus parking lot,” the district said in a statement.

    The school district revealed that the victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The district assured that no other individuals were harmed during the incident.

    NewsChopper 2 captured aerial footage of the scene, revealing a significant police deployment, the area cordoned off with crime scene tape, and the presence of what appeared to be evidence markers scattered across the parking lot.

    In a separate incident, panic struck shoppers at The Gardens Mall as reports of an active shooter emerged.

    WPBF covered the situation, reporting that the mall was placed on immediate lockdown following reports of gunfire inside the shopping center shortly before 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

    The focus of law enforcement’s rapid response was particularly intense around the Macy’s and Nordstrom stores on the mall’s second floor.

    Details regarding the mall shooting remain scarce as police continue their investigation.

    However, eyewitness accounts to WPBF described hearing three to four gunshots, leading to panic and a scramble for safety. Shoppers sought refuge in stores, with one witness recounting her experience of hiding in the back of a Lilly Pulitzer store, while another described sheltering with her 8-year-old child in a Gucci store until they were safely evacuated by police.

    As of now, there have been no injuries reported in connection with the shooting at The Gardens Mall.

    A Delta flight from Amsterdam to Detroit was forced to turn around after maggots fell on passengers from an overhead compartment.

    Delta Flight DL133 was forced to return to the departure airport after a suitcase filled with rotting fish, covered in maggots, broke open and began falling down on the economy passengers.

    The Daily Mail reports:

    After the aircraft landed, passengers were taken offboard, the cabin was thoroughly cleaned and the suitcase was placed in a bag to be burned.

    A passenger named Kelce told DailyMail.com that Delta staff had identified the owner of the rotting suitcase and detained them on the plane after the rest of the travelers left the aircraft.

    It is unclear if the owner was fined or if any action was taken against them.
