Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

  1. A recent study by Consumer Reports, in collaboration with The Markup, has unveiled the extensive scale of data tracking aimed at Facebook users. Some users in the study were tracked by as many as 7,000 companies.

    A recent study from Consumer Reports engaged 709 volunteers who provided archives of their Facebook user data. Astonishingly, Consumer Reports discovered that 186,892 different companies transmitted data about these users to Facebook. On average, data from each participant was shared by 2,230 companies, with some users’ data being shared by over 7,000 companies.

    This examination highlighted a lesser-known form of tracking known as server-to-server tracking, where personal data is transferred directly from a company’s servers to Meta’s servers, alongside the more visible method involving Meta tracking pixels on company websites.

    Emil Vazquez, a spokesperson for Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta, defended the company’s data practices, stating: “We offer a number of transparency tools to help people understand the information that businesses choose to share with us, and manage how it’s used.” However, Consumer Reports identified issues with these tools, including unclear data provider identities and companies that service advertisers often disregarding user opt-out requests.

    A surprising finding was the pervasive presence of LiveRamp, a data broker, appearing in the data of 96 percent of study participants. The list of companies sharing data with Facebook extends beyond obscure data brokers to include well-known retailers like Home Depot, Macy’s, Walmart, and others, such as Experian and TransUnion’s Neustar, Amazon, Etsy, and PayPal. Notably, LiveRamp did not respond to a request for comment on this matter.

    The study’s data came from two main collection types: “events” and “custom audiences.” The latter involves advertisers uploading customer lists to Meta, including email addresses and mobile advertising IDs, to target ads on Meta’s platforms. ‘Events’ describe real-world interactions, like website visits or store purchases, facilitated by Meta’s software in apps, tracking pixels on websites, and server-to-server tracking.

  3. Sharia scandal in Germany: first pupils have already converted to Islam out of fear

    Upper school pupils at a comprehensive school in Neuss attempted to enforce ultra-strict Islamic rules and behaved like a “Sharia police force”. They rejected democracy and put fellow pupils under pressure.

    The BILD newspaper has now learnt from fellow pupils how the Islamists exerted pressure on the school. It is a frightening incident that took place in the heart of Germany.

    Even when Muslim teachers were called in and explained to the pupils (led by a 19-year-old ringleader from class 12) that they could postpone their Friday prayers, as this was permitted by the religion, this had no effect.
    A short time later, these pupils demanded a prayer room. There were complaints from other pupils that they were being pressurised into observing Islamic rules. According to witnesses, the group did not even stop at Muslim teachers in the school. They were also admonished for not complying with Islamic rules.

    Citizens also displayed banners reading “Vahid is our voice,” a reference to Vahid Beheshti. Beheshti is an anti-regime activist who recently visited Israel and spoke in the Knesset.

      The Iranian news agency said on Saturday that the Revolutionary Guard’s Quds Force intelligence chief and his deputy were among the fatalities in an Israeli strike on Damascus. Akram al-Ajouri, a senior member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, was also identified as one of the casualties.

      Iranian Official Targeted in Lebanon

      The Saudi Al Khadath channel on Saturday said that the commander for Palestinian affairs in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force was killed in an Israeli drone strike on a car traveling near the southern Lebanon city of Tyre. He was responsible for providing intelligence and technological assistance to Hamas in Lebanon.

    • IDF Finds Tunnel Where Israeli Hostages Were Kept in Khan Yunis

      The IDF has revealed a tunnel 20 meters underground in the center of residential Khan Yunis where Israeli hostages had been held. Troops found drawings made by hostage Emilia Aloni, 6, who was freed in November after being held for 54 days.

    An independent journalist, known as 1st Responders Media on social media, experienced a chilling interaction while conducting interviews with a group of illegal immigrants who had recently crossed into the country.

    The journalist, who has been covering border issues, reported a particularly ominous exchange that raises concerns about the safety of Americans during this invasion at the border.

    According to the journalist’s account, the situation escalated when he asked one of the individuals about their origin. The response was unexpectedly aggressive.

    “By the way… If you are smart enough, you will know who I am. But you are really not smart enough to know who I am. But soon you’re going to know who I am,” the illegal immigrant warned.

    The identity of this individual remains unknown, and the implications of his statement is unclear but unsettling.

    The encounter was documented in a post shared with the journalist’s followers, highlighting the danger and aggressive behavior of the illegal alien.

    The post read, “A migrant who illegally crossed into the United States threatened me, saying ‘You find out who I am very soon,’ simply because I asked him where he was from.”

    The journalist tagged several high-ranking officials in the post, including Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, President of the United States, the Department of Homeland Security, and Customs and Border Protection, critiquing the regime’s handling of border security and immigration policy.

    In October, during an address to the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference in San Diego, California, FBI Director Chris Wray issued a dire warning about the rise of violent extremism, both domestic and international.

    Wray indicated that there has been a significant uptick in reported threats following the attacks in Israel, cautioning the public to remain vigilant for “lone actors.”

    “In this heightened environment, there’s no question we’re seeing an increase in reported threats, and we’ve got to be on the lookout, especially for lone actors who may take inspiration from recent events to commit violence of their own.”

    “So I encourage you to stay vigilant, because as the first line of defense in protecting our communities, you’re often the first to see the signs that someone may be mobilizing to violence. And I’d also ask you to continue sharing any intelligence or observations you may have. And on our end, we’re committed to doing the same, so that together, we can safeguard our communities,” he added.

    According to an internal memo dated Oct. 20, which was obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation, the CBP San Diego field office sent out a memo to its officers warning of Jihadists trying to get into the U.S. through the southern border. The terrorist attacks against Israel have potentially inspired Hamas, Hezbollah, and other Jihadists to make their way into our nation.

    “San Diego Field Office Intelligence Unit assesses that individuals inspired by, or reacting to the current Israel-Hamas conflict may attempt travel to or from the area of hostilities in the Middle East via circuitous transit across the Southwest border,” the memo reads.

    “Foreign fighters motivated by ideology or mercenary soldiers of fortune may attempt to obfuscate travel to or from the US to or from countries in the Middle East through Mexico,” the memo adds.

    Last week, U.S. intelligence officials warned of an increasing threat posed by the Lebanese Hezbollah terrorist group, suggesting that it might strike American interests in the Middle East or even within the United States.

    One of the officials, who was granted anonymity to discuss sensitive intelligence, expressed concern about Hezbollah’s ability to execute an attack in the U.S., stating, ‘Hezbollah could utilize their capabilities to position individuals for a potential attack. It is a matter of concern.’

    Trump was asked when he will decide by Fox News’ Brett Baier in New Hampshire.

    The Republican frontrunner replied, “Well, it’s never really had that much of an effect on an election, which is an amazing thing, both election and primary. It’s never really had much of an effect.”

    “I may or may not really something over the next couple of months. There’s no rush to that. It won’t have any impact at all. The person that I think I like is a very good person, a pretty standard. I think people won’t be that surprised, but I would say there’s probably a 25 percent chance that would be that person,” Trump added, according to a report from The Hill.

  13. Ohio Official’s Arrest After She Criticized Sheriff at Public Meeting a Free Speech Violation, Judge Orders Damages (VIDEO)

    On Wednesday, a federal judge ruled that the constitutional rights of an Ohio elected official were violated when she was arrested for criticizing the sheriff at a public meeting, AP reported.

    U.S. District Judge J. Philip Calabrese ruled that the arrest violated the First Amendment.

    Niki Frenchko, the sole Republican on the three-member Trumbull County Board of Commissioners, was arrested during a commissioners’ meeting on July 7, 2022.

    She was charged under a contentious Ohio law that criminalizes actions or speech intended to “prevent or disrupt a lawful meeting.”

    This law has been criticized for its vague language concerning “obstructive conduct” and its potential to outrage the sensibilities of a group. The charge against Frenchko was eventually dismissed.

    The arrest, which Frenchko broadcasted live on Facebook, sparked widespread controversy and led to her filing a federal civil rights lawsuit.

    She claimed her arrest was a direct infringement of her constitutional right to free speech and argued that there was no probable cause for her detention.

    U.S. District Judge J. Philip Calabrese, in his ruling, emphatically stated, “Here in America, we do not arrest our political opponents.” He underscored the importance of the constitutional protections for free speech, particularly the right to criticize public officials and representatives.

    Calabrese held that the sheriff, two deputies, and the two county commissioners named in the lawsuit, one of whom has since left the board, are personally liable for damages. A subsequent hearing will determine the extent of these damages.

    Judge Calabrese pointed out that the evidence clearly demonstrated that Frenchko’s arrest was a consequence of her speech, and he rejected the defendants’ claims to immunity from damages. He emphasized that any reasonable official should know that arresting someone for protected speech is a violation of the First Amendment.

  16. Wind & Solar Generators Couldn’t Care Less When You’re Freezing In The Dark

    Solar panels smothered with snow and ice produce nothing; wind turbines frozen solid during breathless, frigid weather produce even less (they actually consume power from the grid to run heating systems meant to prevent their internal workings suffering permanent damage).

    So, if you’re sitting freezing in the dark, don’t expect wind and solar power generators to come to your rescue.

    No, if the lights and power are on this winter, then you ought to raise a glass for the gas, coal and nuclear power generators separating you and your loved ones from a date with hypothermia and, ultimately, the morgue.

    Hundreds died during the Big Freeze that hit Texas in February 2021, thanks to a complete collapse in wind and solar output. Thousands more would have died, but for the reliable output delivered by coal, gas and nuclear plants.

    As this piece from Alberta attests, the wind and solar industries couldn’t care less whether you freeze to death when winter bites.

    For years, the province of Alberta, Canada looked like a decent place to build large scale wind projects. Alberta has wide open, windy spaces. So, in the name of fighting global warming (AKA raking in government subsidies) wind developers built nearly 4,500MWs of wind capacity as of January 2024. Solar’s installed capacity sits at 1650MWs for a combined wind and solar capacity of just over 6100MWs.

    One of the world’s leading experts on nuclear weapons programs, American physicist David Albright, issued a report stating that Iran’s regime needs roughly a week to produce enough uranium for an atomic bomb.

    In his January 8 report titled “How quickly could Iran make nuclear weapons today?” Albright argues that “Iran can quickly make enough weapon-grade uranium for many nuclear weapons, something it could not do in 2003. Today, it would need only about a week to produce enough for its first nuclear weapon. It could have enough weapon-grade uranium for six weapons in one month, and after five months of producing weapon-grade uranium, it could have enough for twelve.”

    Albright, the founder and president of the prominent Washington-based Institute for Science and International Security, noted that “Iran could also immediately start preparatory work on transforming the weapons-grade uranium into nuclear weapon components in anticipation of later receiving weapon-grade uranium.

  18. Stop Punishing Our Allies while Rewarding Iran

    Continued appeasement of Iran under the guise of preventing the spread of war has predictably entrenched Iran and its allies, while U.S. passivity creates a leadership void that Ayatollah Khamenei is only too eager to fill. President Biden should instead pursue a strategy of neutralizing Iran’s military and financial capacity to threaten U.S. allies and interests in the Middle East, and then contain Iranian aggression.

    The U.S. should share detailed, actionable targeting information on all of Iran’s weapons depots and training camps in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen with a coalition of allies, including the UK, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Israel. Those targets must be destroyed to cripple Iran’s ability to continue leveraging its terrorist proxies to fight on its behalf.

    At the same time, the U.S. must drop the pretext that Iran is a trusted player and can be induced with financial carrots to cooperate. Policies falling short of cutting off Iran’s financial resources undermine any U.S. responses to the threats Iran poses.

    There is No Freedom & Liberty Where a Country’s Citizenry is Disarmed

    It is not by accident that the expressions, ‘Freedom’ and ‘Liberty are coming under fire.

    After all, Government, whether modeled as an outright dictatorship or as a benign, seemingly benevolent democratic construct, is a constant threat to the sanctity and inviolability of the human Soul. The Founders of our Federal Government knew this, and their meticulous construction of a Government that would function within a free Constitutional Republic, with all the safeguards employed in the Articles of the U.S. Constitution, though absolutely necessary to prevent tyranny, would not of itself be sufficient to guard against tyranny.

    Where there is Government, even Representative Government, such as ours, their tyranny always lingers in the shadows. The Nation’s Bill of Rights alone prevents the incursion of tyranny. The Antifederalists demanded an express delineation of fundamental, immutable, unlimited God-given Rights beyond the power of Government to modify, abrogate, deny, or ignore.

    These fundamental, natural rights would serve alone as a shield, the ultimate safeguard against inevitable Government encroachment on freedom and liberty, for the founders knew full well that even a Government such as ours, with limited, carefully demarcated powers, would eventually subvert the will of the people. We are seeing that occurring now and with rapidity.
    Evidence of encroaching tyranny on our people is everywhere, and it is glaring.

    Information disseminated is deceptive. Dissent is heavily controlled or censored. Privacy is nonexistent. Petitions are denied out-of-hand. Average American citizens face unlawful detention. They have been systematically brutalized and ostracized for their political, social, and even religious beliefs. The government has infiltrated American associations and harassed its members, even attempting to seduce them into committing crimes so that the Government can shut them down.

    The government no longer even bothers to hide wide-range violations and abuses of fundamental rights and liberties. But a final lockdown on freedom and liberty eludes them. Government cannot so easily confiscate physical objects without escaping the notice of their deed. A citizen’s firearms cannot so easily be taken from him. But it will try; is trying all the time to do just that—at the moment, through incremental efforts.

    And this Government, our Government, is tiring of utilizing half-measures. The Government wants to seize the massive stockpile of citizenry’s firearms. This is no secret. The toadies have made the aim clear.

    The question is——
    Can the U.S. Government really succeed in disarming the American populace?

    The Governments of the two Commonwealth Nations, New Zealand and Australia have not had any trouble doing this. They have been able to disarm their populations without issue. But can the Federal Government here in the United States accomplish such a vast undertaking? This is not likely. And it is unlikely for this reason:

    Consider: the two Commonwealth Countries, along with every other Country on Earth, apart from our own, do not recognize the God-given right of the people to keep and bear arms as a potent check on tyranny. The United States is the one holdout Nation.

    At some point, the would-be Destroyers of our Country will try to disarm Americans, as they must if the Rothschild/Soros “Open Society” agenda is to succeed. Once push comes to shove, Americans are going to have to take a stand—all Americans and we are rapidly moving to that fateful point.

    “Freedom” and “Liberty” are not mere abstractions, even as tyrannical Western governments, including the Government of the European Union in Brussels, and those of the Commonwealth Nations, and, sadly, the present Government here at home in the U.S., now claim they are but that and nothing more.     “Freedom is a malleable term — one that’s open to interpretation.”

    Perhaps it would seem so to tyrants that would have little if any use for it. But, had the Founders of our Republic thought “Freedom” and its sacred kin, “Liberty,” so malleable as to be nothing more than phantasms, mere will-o’-the-wisps, they would hardly have risked their lives and well-being to attain them.

    Nor can “Freedom” and “Liberty” be perceived as so insubstantial that a towering edifice—the United States, a free Constitutional Republic, the envy of the world—would have existed and persisted for well over two hundred years. As John Adams, a Founding Father and Second President of the United States, said;

    “But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty once lost is lost forever.”

  21. Iran’s Economic Attack: Blocking Israel’s Trade Artery in the Red Sea

    On Nov. 19, 2023, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei called on the Muslim countries to “block Israel’s [vital] arteries.”

    Iran is using the Houthis to prevent goods from reaching Israel through the Red Sea. Israel’s Eilat Port has seen an 85% reduction in activity.

    The aim is to increase the pressure on Israel at a time when Iran is in no position to take part directly in the war against Israel and the U.S. because of its own economic crisis.

    Iran’s economy is based on oil and its foreign currency revenues depend on its oil exports. It is necessary for the West to augment the pressure on Iran by ramping up economic pressure, among other things by preventing its illegal oil exports.

    Israel should consider adopting a policy of an eye-for-an-eye or “a trade artery for a trade artery.”

    That dog-whistle sound sufficiently farrr rrright-wing for you?

    Israel should cooperate with international bodies to locate, track, and report on the Iranian tankers’ violation of international laws on shipping, and consider more creative actions to hamper their movement.

    Yeah, there's a thought… How about the Red Cross? The International Court of Justice? UNRWA? WEF? The WHO?

    The leaked ‘Access Hollywood’ tape of Trump will not be presented to a jury in E. Jean Carroll’s defamation case against Trump.

    Recall that Clinton-appointed Judge Lewis Kaplan ruled last year that Trump’s “grab her by the p*ssy” Hollywood Access tape can be played at the civil trial.

    “In this case, a jury reasonably could find, even from the Access Hollywood tape alone, that Mr. Trump admitted in the Access Hollywood tape that he in fact has had contact with women’s genitalia in the past without their consent, or that he has attempted to do so,” Judge Kaplan wrote of Trump’s locker room talk, the Washington Times reported last year.

    Carroll’s lawyer Roberta Kaplan said on Saturday that she will not be presenting the Hollywood Access tape to the jury.

    Fox News reported:

    The infamous “Access Hollywood” tape will not be presented to New York jurors tasked with considering a defamation case against former President Donald Trump leveled by writer E. Jean Carroll.

    Carroll’s attorney, Roberta Kaplan, revealed that the jury would be presented with neither the tape nor two other women who accused Trump of abuse. The revelation means Trump’s testimony in the case is likely to arrive sooner than expected, possibly Monday, one day before the Republican primary in New Hampshire.

    Kaplan argued that she wants the trial to remain “focused” on Carroll’s accusations, not Trump’s other alleged sex crimes.

    In 2019, E. Jean Carroll alleged Donald Trump raped her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in the 1990s.

    E. Jean Carroll is a mentally unwell woman who previously told CNN she fantasizes about rape.

    Trump has denied the allegations and called E. Jean Carroll a “whack job” who’s “not my type.”

    At the dawn of 2024, the United States is embroiled in a heated discussion over what constitutes antisemitism. In the wake of the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks launched by Hamas against targets in Israel, and the subsequent retaliatory military actions Israel has undertaken, protests in cities, on college campuses, and in the halls of Congress have ranged from peaceful to blatantly antisemitic, with chants, vandalism, and threats of violence.

    Perhaps just as troubling, these events come as recent surveys have found that 20% of Gen Z Americans believe the Holocaust is a myth (another 30% neither agreed nor disagreed). An earlier survey found that over 60% of the same generational cohort did not know that 6 million Jews were murdered during World War II. Such reports are both disturbing and are a warning to the American public about deficiencies in remembering a pivotal event of the 20th century.

    Concerns that Americans would forget the Holocaust or come to doubt it were first addressed by the man who led the Allied armies to victory in the Second World War: Dwight Eisenhower. A Midwesterner by birth who made the military his career, Ike was untainted by early 20th-century antisemitism that was prevalent in the halls of power.

    Unlike many of his fellow officers, he did not view Jews, whether immigrants or native born, as fundamentally anti-American. Nor did his Protestantism include religious antisemitism. Indeed, he came to have several Jewish friends, was shocked by Kristallnacht, and warmed instantly to his assignment as Supreme Allied Commander to end the Nazi threat.

    In April 1945, Eisenhower came face to face with the Holocaust. While visiting a former salt mine turned depository for items looted by the Germans, Ike learned of a camp nearby that his men had liberated a few days before. Joined by Gens. Omar Bradley and George Patton, Ike arrived at Ohrdruf, a subcamp of the nearby Buchenwald network. Refusing to leave for several hours, Ike met with former prisoners, toured every building, and soaked in the “hell camp.”

    Though he had known of the Nazi labor camp system, Eisenhower was shocked after seeing one in person and realizing what that system actually was. He recognized that this was what his men were fighting against, that liberation was more than just freeing territory – it was about the very survival of civilization itself against a barbarism few had thought existed in the heart of modern Europe.

    In the wake of Eisenhower’s visit, and the subsequent discovery of other camps much larger and deadlier than Ohrdruf, Eisenhower issued a series of orders. The camps were to be documented, photographed, and filmed. Survivors were to be cared for and interviewed. He also instructed all forces under his command to visit liberated camps as they moved to the front and ordered German civilians from nearby communities to help bury the dead, care for the living, and see what had been done in their name.

    But Ike did even more than that.

    He also called for and facilitated delegations comprising members of Congress, the British Parliament, newspaper editors, and other public opinion and civic leaders to see the camps in person. Eisenhower wanted to show the world that the camps were not some propaganda gimmick but a very real evil. He repeatedly said that such eyewitness accounts were necessary to ensure that in the future, no one would be able to claim such horrors had not existed. He foresaw the very conditions we now encounter today.

    Eisenhower’s call to bear witness and to never forget the Holocaust is a reminder of the importance of historical knowledge and perspective. To argue that the world today is more complex than it was during Ike’s time, as either general or president, is ahistorical. While there are points of policy that necessitate contentious debate at times, there are events and movements that should only be seen as evil. Attempting to dismiss antisemitism endangers not just civility but our common humanity. Ike would want us to remember that, too.

    Alec Baldwin might be showing signs of financial difficulty amid his ongoing legal battles.

    Fox Business reported that Baldwin has slashed $10 million off the asking price of his home in the Hamptons and is even paying for online ads to help find a buyer.

    The property was originally listed at $29 million before dropping to $25 million. Today, the asking price is below $20 million.

    In a promotional video posted online, Baldwin said he purchased the impressive property in 1995 and has built two extensions since then.
