Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    All of us have seen the illustration of the difference between ‘equality’ and ‘equity’: ‘equality’ has three kids, short, medium and tall, each standing on a box to try to watch a ball game over a fence. Predictably, the little guy still cannot see, standing on just one box just like everyone else. ‘Equity’ has the boxed re-distributed, so that each of the kids can watch the game over the fence, regardless of their natural height.

    I say that this illustration MUST – and I stress the word MUST most strongly – be not just rejected out of hand, but condemned because of the very assumptions on which it is based and which it illustrates: that theft is not just permissible, but good and must be facilitated.

    Let’s not kid ourselves: the kids in the illustration are all thieves, stealing the income of the players/game organizers by watching the show over the fence – without paying for it. Some may say that professional sports organizations are rich and can afford it, but that is not the point (notwithstanding the possibility that it is a local kids league that needs every penny to survive).

    If the kids paid their admission cost, then they would not need any boxes to stand on or re-distribute.

    If they deemed the cost too high for the entertainment value, then they should not watch the game.

    That illustration ought never be discussed on the merits of re-distribution (of boxes) but rejected out of hand as it normalizes theft.

    To put it in ‘redistributed boxes’ terms: all of these kids are standing on boxes that were stolen (literally or figuratively) from the players, and without which the match is diminished so that over time, might not be played at all depriving not just the kids, but everyone.

    In other words, this illustrates what is wrong with the ‘woke’ thinking in general: people are entitled to enjoy for free things that cost money, and we are obligated to facilitate this clearly destructive, immoral and illegal behaviour.

  10. James Lindsay talks about ‘entryism’ – as it was formulated by the Frankfurt school. And quite accurately.

    What I would add to this is that this tactic was pioneered by Karl Marx himself, as exposed in Thomas Sowell’s four part series ‘Who was Karl Marx’ (sorry, it escapes me which chapter it was – but I posted a link to the 4th video in this series in an earlier comment today). Marx would infiltrate an organization, and, if he could not control it, he destroyed it…

  11. NYC Man Who Allegedly Stabbed Teen Girls on Christmas and Yelled ‘I Want All the White People Dead’ Already out of Jail

    A man accused of stabbing two teenagers at New York City’s Grand Central Terminal on Christmas Day has been released back onto the streets.

    The alleged assailant, Steven Hutcherson, 36, of the Bronx, allegedly attacked two teenage girls at the Tartinery in the Grand Central Dining Concourse on Monday after arguing with restaurant staff over sitting in the establishment’s area. According to reports, he remarked that the two teen girls, 14 and 16, were allowed to sit there, ultimately pulling out a knife and stabbing them — one in the thigh and the other in the back, the latter of whom was treated for a collapsed lung at Bellevue Hospital.

    The man allegedly shouted racist remarks as well. Law enforcement sources told the New York Post at the time that the man yelled, “I want all the white people dead,” and “I want to sit next to the crackers.”

    This is far from the man’s first infraction. According to the Post, he has been arrested “17 times over the last two decades — and the subject of more than a half dozen domestic violence complaints by a Manhattan woman he has allegedly stalked for over a year, according to sources.”

    Further, he was recently put back on the streets by Judge Matthew Grieco, whom Mayor Eric Adams (D) appointed, with a conditional discharge after threatening a stranger. According to reports, he shouted at the victim, “Why are you working for white people? I’m going to kill this man.”
