“Uh,” his head was cocked up looking at the menu screens on the wall above the counter, “I guess I’ll have the Big Mac.”
“Did you want the meal or just the sandwich,” asked the girl.
“The meal.”
“Print please.” Bob Munter placed his index finger on the reader. A green circle appeared on the small glass screen around his finger. “Thank you Bob Munter. You’re number 57. Please wait till we call you.”
The phone in his pocket beeped with his receipt. He stepped back to make way for the next customer. Suddenly there was a commotion in the restaurant, as people began crowding around a television screen hanging in a corner near the exit.
It was just past twelve noon, so the place was loud and packed. There were lots of workmen, students and retired people trying to get lunch. Despite their growling stomachs, and despite whatever they had to get back to following their meal break, all sound and motion cracked dead silent for the sound of the TV.
“Shut-up!” a man’s voice boomed. “We wanna hear this.”
“The Missouri State Institute of Agriculture reports today a historical event. ‘Bessi’, the last known living cow on Earth has passed away. Let’s go to our CNN affiliate there to learn more. Jessica what are officials saying about what many people believe to be the end of an era.”
“Hi Manny. Yes, indeed, it is true. The world’s last bovine has died. Federal Food Minister Bill Gates was seen here a few minutes ago congratulating the farmer who owned Bessi, and who provided her with a comfortable transition. My source says Roger Schmitt, the tenant farmer caretaker of this last cow, plans to retire with her passing. I’m trying to get a word with him but, as you can imagine, Mr. Schmitt is a very popular man right now. Back to you…”
“Bob Munter,” came his name on the restaurant loudspeaker. He stepped forward for his tray, then turned to find a single seat near the window. “Is it alright if I sit here?” he asked the three teenagers at the table. They just shrugged and angled their bodies away, slightly. Bob sat down to eat.
“Can you imagine how disgusting that must have been?, said one teen to the others.
“I don’t know. My Dad says he had it when he was young. He said my grandfather would cut down a tree, chop it into sticks, start a fire and burn a piece of dead cow over the fire. Then they’d eat it!”
“They’d eat the burned flesh?”
“Yeah.”
“I’m gonna barf!”
“What about the cutting down the tree part? How did they even get to a Red Zone?”
“They didn’t have Zones back then.”
“Really? Like people took transit to Red Zones? I wonder how many died from nature?”
“No, uh-uh. They didn’t have transit outside the city, stupid. People drove there in their own gasoline cars. And Dad says they were called Forbidden Zones, first. Then the Ministry of Language changed them to Red Zones ’cause the word ‘forbidden’ was triggering.”
“Gas? You mean that stuff that stinks?”
“Yup. Well, that’s what my Dad says.”
“How many people died from gasoline cars?”
“Or burning trees? What if the forest caught fire? What about Nature Permits? How did people do all this without print permits? What about wolves? I remember reading how, like, thousands or millions of people were eaten by wolves and snakes after the Red Zones were set up. They couldn’t get used them, so they’d go without their permits and never come back. Look it up it’s on YouTube. It’s all there!”
Then the red-haired teenager who was sitting quietly said, “I miss it.”
“You can’t miss something you never lived through, stupid,” another shot back.
“No,” said another, “how can you be nostalgic for a time you never lived in?”
“I can,” replied the red-haired boy quietly.
Bob enjoyed listening to the teenagers as he looked out the window and ate.
“I just think the idea of non-factory meat is so primitive and disgusting. –And, like, you have people burning gasoline cars, leaving the city without printing, totally alone without Safety Officers–.”

One Student Fatally Stabbed, Another Injured in Deadly Mass Brawl at North Carolina High School (VIDEO)
Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School is reeling from a violent encounter that took place on its campus Monday, resulting in one student’s death and another hospitalized with injuries.
The chaos unfolded at about 11 a.m. on Monday when a fight escalated to a deadly stabbing in the school’s gymnasium, News 13 reported.
The Raleigh Police Department, led by Chief Estella Patterson, swiftly responded to the scene after a school resource officer urgently called for EMS support due to a student being stabbed.
Upon arrival, authorities found two victims of the stabbing. Both were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital. Tragically, the 16-year-old victim succumbed to their injuries, while the second victim, a 15-year-old student, is currently receiving care for non-life-threatening wounds.
Chief Patterson indicated that the stabbing was the result of a large altercation, though the specifics of what led to the fight remain unclear.
The school immediately enacted a Code Red Lockdown, barring entry and exit to ensure the safety of all students and staff. The lockdown was a precautionary measure while police worked to secure the scene and apprehend the suspect.
In response to the crisis, school officials have declared that Tuesday classes will be canceled in the wake of the incident.
“Shortly after 11 a.m., our School Resource Officer reported that two students were stabbed during an altercation in the gymnasium. We went into a Code Red lockdown while law enforcement and school security quickly secured the scene and provided first-aid to the victims. Both victims were transported to the hospital. One of the students passed away. The second victim remains hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries,” according to the school’s principal.
It continued, “Our hearts go out to the victim’s loved ones. Please keep them and all of those that have been impacted by this loss in your thoughts. While student privacy laws prevent me from sharing specific information about the victim, please know that the student who passed away was a valued member of our school community, and we grieve this loss alongside his loved ones.”
According to the Raleigh Police Department, police officers have secured a custody order for a 14-year-old suspect, who has been charged with murder as a juvenile as a result of the deadly altercation.

Cherelle McLaughlin is the mother of one of the students involved in the fight. She told WRAL News her son was acting in self-defense and claimed he was concerned for his safety at the school.
“I don’t believe he took the knife into school,” McLaughlin said. “I believe he got the knife from somebody in the school because he did not go to school with a knife. I dropped him off at school, he did not go to school with it.”
Her son is seen wearing a red hoodie at the beginning of a video capturing the fight. WRAL News made numerous attempts to reach the victim’s family, but could not reach them.
Patterson said detectives are working to identify everyone involved in the altercation, and that it’s an ongoing investigation.

Mathew Mottes, the chairman of the Municipal Water Authority of Aliquippa, stated that the cyber group called Cyber Av3ngers hacked one of their booster stations.
Penn Live reported the cyber hackers were able to “shut down a pump on a supply line that provides drinking water from the Aliquippa Municipal Water Authority’s treatment plant to Raccoon and Potter townships in Beaver County.”
One of the hacked monitors displayed a message which read, “You have been hacked. Down with Israel. Every equipment ‘made with Israel’ is Cyber Av3ngers legal target.”

Over the course of millions of years, the earth regularly removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere through a natural process called weathering, when exposure to the elements wears down surface rocks and silicate minerals.
But at the rate humans have been producing and releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere since the Industrial Revolution, this process that happens on a geological time scale just isn’t fast enough to keep up.
A corn and soybean farm in the village of Buckingham, Illinois, 60 miles south of Chicago, is providing the testing grounds for an Irish startup attempting to “enhance” weathering, thus shortening the process from millenniums to decades.
The Illinois trial, the first of its kind in the United States, is one of many efforts to leverage the potential of different materials to combat global warming.
“The whole carbon removal concept exists because we have to backtrack — we’ve gone too far,” said Maurice Bryson, founder and CEO of Irish startup Silicate. “The idea of this solution is, we’re using what’s already there.”
Last week, Silicate began covering over 100 acres of farmland with 500 to 1,000 tons of fine dust from ready-mix concrete that has been returned. Researchers at the climate tech company hope the concrete dust can permanently remove up to 220 tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and transfer it to the soil over the course of a year, the equivalent of CO2 emissions from almost 50 cars in one year.
Carbon dioxide removal is a technique by which carbon that is already in the atmosphere is removed through processes like enhanced weathering, reforestation and direct air capture, which uses engineered mechanical or chemical systems to capture carbon dioxide directly from the air. Earlier this month, The New York Times reported a California startup was the first to commercially market direct air capture in the United States.
But direct air capture is expensive. According to climate economist Danny Cullenward, it is also extremely energy-intensive and sometimes requires a lot of water.

Father of Emily Hand, 9, Says She Can’t Stop Whispering or Crying: ‘She Didn’t Want Any Comfort’
“She went under the covers of the bed, the quilt, covered herself up and quietly cried.”
Thomas Hand felt relief when Kibbutz Be’eri leaders told him Hamas murdered his daughter Emily, 9, on October 7.
Thomas knew the hell Emily would go through if Hamas took her hostage.
Emily spent the night with her friend Hila Rotem-Shoshani.
A few weeks later, Thomas found out Hamas took Emily hostage, and she likely survived. None of the remains matched Emily, and no blood at the house.
Authorities also tracked Hila’s family’s cell phones.
Emily, Hila, and Raaya, Hila’s mother, survived, but Hamas took them hostage. Raaya treated both girls like her daughters and did as much as possible to look after them.
Hamas separated the girls from Raaya two days before they were released a few days ago.
Both girls came home. Hamas is still holding Raaya.
Thomas spoke to CNN, and I can see why he, as a father, felt that relief when the leaders first told him Emily had died. What he revealed since poor Emily has been home is tragic.
Emily is pale, glassy-eyed, and has lost weight. She also cannot stop whispering:
“The most shocking, disturbing part of meeting her was she was just whispering, you couldn’t hear her. I had to put my ear on her lips,” he said. “She’d been conditioned not to make any noise.”
A photograph of father and daughter released by the Israel Defense Forces shows a glimpse of the situation, Thomas said.
“You could just see glassy-eyed terror,” he said.
Emily thought Hamas took Thomas hostage. She also thinks the terrorist group held her for a year.
A YEAR. Thomas described that as a “punch in the guts.”
Emily said the hostages had food and water. The terrorists never hit them, but the kids could not make any noise. They allowed them to draw and play cards.
Unfortunately, Thomas had awful news for Emily:
He is so grateful that Emily was held with Hila and Raaya for the most part, getting solace from knowing Emily had someone to care for her. “She looked after them like her own two kids.”
Emily lost her mother to cancer when she was just 2 years old. And Hand has had to tell her that her “second mom” was killed on October 7. Narkis Hand was Hand’s former wife, and mother to Emily’s two half-siblings.
“That was very hard. We told her and her little eyes glazed over and she took a sharp intake of breath,” he said.
It doesn’t get better at night:
But she is slowly coming back. She tries to stretch out the days with her family but when she finally goes to bed she really sleeps.
And she hasn’t shut down. “Last night she cried until her face was red and blotchy, she couldn’t stop. She didn’t want any comfort, I guess she’s forgotten how, to be comforted” Hand said. “She went under the covers of the bed, the quilt, covered herself up and quietly cried.”
She didn’t want to be touched so Hand just waited until she was ready. “She’s a very determined little girl, very strong, I knew that her spirit would get her through it.”

Woman Shoots Man in Self-Defense After He Ignores Order of Protection
I’ve said before that while orders of protection can be valuable in terms of giving authorities a tool to use to go after domestic abusers or stalkers, they’re only a piece of paper and not a suit of armor when it comes to actually providing protection for victims.

One South Carolina woman apparently feels the same way, because she didn’t rely solely on that legal order to keep her safe from an abusive ex, and on Sunday she was forced to defend her life with a firearm after the man, identified as 41-year-old Antwan Ashley, allegedly violated the protective order and accosted her.
Richland County deputies responded to reports of a shooting in Columbia, South Carolina on Sunday afternoon and detained the woman at the scene, but announced on Monday that investigators have determined she was acting in self-defense and won’t be facing charges.

Can Europe Become Western Again?

For the first time in a millennium, Europe no longer plays a critical role in promoting Western civilization nor in world history at large.
Ostensibly it should. Some 750 million people live on the European subcontinent.
Europe still remains the most popular tourist spot on earth. Its hallowed architecture, art, infrastructure, and natural beauty still remind millions of visitors of the world’s once most dynamic and grandiose civilization.
Even now, European nations, in and out of the Europe Union, still produce a combined gross domestic product of $24 trillion, second only to the United States.
Europe’s exports are among the world’s most coveted cars, sophisticated technology, and valued industrial goods.
Yet since World War II, Europe has played an increasingly reduced role in world affairs, despite its membership in the NATO alliance and the growth of the European Union.
Why?
The 20th-century traumas of World War I and II — in which some 70 million Europeans were killed — saw Europe commit near collective suicide. The ensuing Cold War hinged on protecting a relatively unarmed Europe from an aggressive nuclear Soviet empire on Europe’s borders.
But as World War II and the Cold War faded into memory, Europe did not snap back and assume its centuries-old role as a world leader and beacon of Western Civilization.
Instead, a weary Europe outsourced its security to the United States. It redefined itself as a postmodern, pacifist, socialist utopian project — most recently predicated on redistributionist entitlements, open borders, and radical green policies that have all inevitably ensured European decline.
Europeans grew louder and whinier the less relevant they became.
Although Europe has large sources of untapped hydroelectrical, nuclear, coal, and natural gas power, its green religion has all but shut down new nuclear and fossil fuel generation and closed existing plants. The result is that the cost of European energy is prohibitive for both the public and industry.

Samantha Pearson was until Nov. 18 the head of the Sexual Assault Center at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. It was on that day that she was fired, after having signed an open letter denying that members of Hamas committed any rapes on October 7. This claim was made despite the videos of near-naked women being driven off in the back of trucks by Hamas, despite the testimony of Israeli survivors who witnessed rapes from their hiding places, and despite the videos taken by the rapists themselves, or by Hamas onlookers who wanted to record the rapes by their friends, and despite the testimony of captured Hamas operatives to their Israeli interrogators.. What “unverified accusation” are those who signed this dreadful letter alluding to? Not only does the IDF have videos of some of those rapes, taken both by the rapists themselves and by their friends, but it also has the eyewitness testimony of survivors, who from their hideouts saw both rapes and gang rapes being committed. The naked and often mutilated corpses of rape victims were strewn about, some with their breasts slit off (Hamas members had fun playing catch with a severed breast), dried semen still on their bodies. One witness saw a rapist who, while still inside his victim, shot her in the head. The Hamas rapists also telephoned their families to excitedly tell of their great deeds (“Mom, I killed ten Jews”), and telephoned their friends to describe what fun they had had raping Jewish girls. Hamas members captured by the IDF admitted that the leaders of the group had “given permission” for the rapes. None of this — not the videos made by Hamas members recording the rapes committed by themselves or by fellow terrorists, not the testimony given both by Israeli survivors, and by captured Hamas members, not the forensic evidence (semen, bruises at the sites of entry, mutilations) — has made the slightest impression on Samantha Pearson.

The Argentine news outlet Infobae reported on Sunday, citing “sources familiar with the details of the [hostage] agreement,” that the jihadist terrorist organization Hamas does not know the location of some of the estimated 240 people abducted from Israel on October 7, complicating the group’s ability to negotiate for their release.

If they have lost track of the kidnapped hostages how can they release all of them?

A non-governmental organization already is working to assemble the evidence of atrocities committed by Hamas terrorists against Israeli civilians in the organization’s brutal assault on innocent bystanders on Oct. 7, with a trial for crimes against humanity – and probable executions – the expected outcome.
The Jerusalem Post reports ELNET, the European Leadership Network NGO set up to emphasize shared democratic values and interests to strengthen links between Europe and Israel, is creating an initiative to document Hamas’ atrocities.
News reports about witnesses to atrocities already have confirmed the beheading of babies, the violent rape of victims, sometimes even after they are dead, and worse.
The report said Article 7 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court determines “murder, imprisonment, torture, rape and other forms of sexual violence, persecution against an identifiable group, enforced disappearance of persons, and other inhumane acts intentionally causing great suffering” are “crimes against humanity.”
To start, team led by ELNET-Israeli board member Sarah Feinberg has been joined by dozens of leading French intellectuals calling for the massacre of some 1,200-1,400 Israelis to be recognized as crimes against humanity.
They are asking for groups such as the Human Rights Council, the U.N., and others, to pass resolutions regarding Hamas’ war crimes.
A report from Just the News outlined the evidence that already is being documented for what could end up being a Nuremberg trials-like prosecution of those who inflicted horrors on men, women and children.
“Live-streamed decapitation attempts. Bodies of murder victims paraded like hunting trophies through Gaza. Rapes of children so violent it broke their pelvises. Sadistic torture worse than a Hollywood horror movie,” the report explained.
“Maybe the most jarring thing,” former Deputy National Security Advisor Victoria Coates told the “Just the News, No Noise” television show, “is that Hamas is not in any way trying to hide this. You know, they’re not being furtive or in any way bashful about what they’ve done. They’re proud of it.”
Testimony and evidence is being assembled, from captured terrorists, eyewitnesses and the video footage that Hamas terrorists themselves recorded, the report said.
At Nuremberg, after World War II, Nazi leaders were put on trial for their horrific crimes against people, and nearly all were convicted, with the worst offenders being executed by hanging.
One of the new horrors during Hamas’ terror is that terrorists were using rape as a weapon of war.
Multiple testimonies have been documented of the terrorists mutilating and raping women before – or even after – they were murdered.
One witness told CNN, “She was alive, she stood on her feet and she was bleeding from her back. I saw that he was pulling her hair. She had long brown hair. I saw him chop off her breast and then he was throwing it toward the road, tossed it to someone else and they started playing with it. I remember seeing another person raping her.”
During the rape, the terrorist shot the victim in the head, the witness said.
Multiple videos show women with their hands zip-tied while being assaulted.
The report said Shari, a volunteer military morgue worker, confirmed the violence.
“We saw many women with bloody underwear, with broken bones, broken legs, broken pelvises,” she told The Washington Post.
Hamas, which formally has been recognized as a terrorist organization, claims its militants did not rape women, but “multiple terrorists captured by Israel Defense Forces have confessed to witnessing and being ordered to participate in sex crimes, including the rape of a young woman’s corpse, the ‘whoring of children’ and the rapes of children and babies,” Just the News reported.
The report explained, as media reports already have documented, the violence also included beheadings, dead victims being paraded like trophies, a kidnapped Israeli child being bullied by Gazan children, and worse.
“Another video shows a terrorist yelling ‘Allahu Akbar,’ Arabic for ‘God is the greatest’ as he brings down a garden hoe on the neck of a dying foreign laborer in a decapitation attempt,” the report said.
Antony Blinken, Joe Biden’s secretary of state, confirmed evidence shows, “A young boy and girl, 6 and 8 years old, and their parents around the breakfast table. The father’s eye gouged out in front of his kids. The mother’s breast cut off, the girl’s foot amputated, the boy’s fingers cut off before they were executed. And then their executioners sat down and had a meal. That is what this society is dealing with, and no nation could tolerate that.”
Michael Oren, the former Israeli ambassador to the U.S., recently told “Just the News, No Noise” that there is a call for a “state commission and Nuremberg-type trial.”
He said captured terrorists have talked about “what they did and what they were told to do … they should be put on trial.”

Five people, including children, were stabbed near a school in Dublin, Ireland, on Thursday by a suspect whose identity has not yet been released.
Three children and two adults were taken to a nearby hospital with stab wounds. One child was severely injured.
It was later discovered a migrant from Algeria was behind the vicious knife attack on children.

Iran flexes military advancements, increasing calls on Biden to act: ‘Weakness only invites more aggression’
The Iranian government is flexing its military power via a series of recent announcements as questions continue to grow as to whether the United States is doing enough to push back against the regime’s increased attacks on American interests in the aftermath of the Hamas terror attack in Israel on Oct. 7.
On Monday, Iran unveiled a new sophisticated warship for its Caspian Sea fleet that it says will be a “sea of peace and friendship” and said Iran’s naval power there will serve “peace (and) security of commercial fleets, confronting terrorists and probable incidents in the future.” The announcement comes shortly after the country claimed to have developed a new hypersonic ballistic missile, allegedly expanding one of the most dangerous military capabilities at their disposal.
“Iran is continuing to try to signal that its military industries are impervious to and cannot be set back by sanctions, hence the pomp and circumstance here,” Behnam Ben Taleblu, senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told Fox News Digital about the new Iranian warship. “Of note, the new vessel is to be deployed in the Caspian Sea, a sign of the regime’s increased securitization of the world’s largest lake and a major conduit for the drone trade with Russia.”

Tucker Carlson sat down with Steve Bannon to discuss last week’s terrorist incident in Ireland – where an Algerian immigrant went on a stabbing spree in downtown Dublin, attacking five people – including three children. Following the stabbing, anti-immigrant riots broke out across the country over the government’s general pro-immigrant policies.
“Several days ago, a man in his 50s for reasons that are still not clear stabbed five people outside a school in Dublin, Ireland, including three children, and then almost immediately after, parts of that City erupted into rioting,” said Carlson, adding “The Washington Post stepped in helpfully to explain, here’s the Tweet The Washington Post sent out quote ‘online rumors claimed the perpetrator of a stabbing attack was an immigrant’.”
“Actually, the man was an immigrant,” Carlson continued. “He was from Algeria and as it turns out he’s been living in Ireland for 23 years at public expense, he has never had a job.”
Ireland’s Transformation and the Role of Immigration
The conversation quickly pivoted to the broader implications of immigration in Ireland, with Carlson criticizing the country’s significant transformation due to immigration, suggesting a deliberate plan. “That country has been completely transformed by immigration,” he argued.
Bannon echoed Carlson’s sentiments, criticizing the Irish political class for “selling out” the people and compared the situation in Ireland with the rest of Europe, particularly with the policies of Victor Orban in Hungary and the general trend in Germany.
“Ireland’s probably one of the worst if not the worst because the political class has totally sold out the people,” said Bannon, adding “Ireland is a powder keg and I think what you saw the other day in the response by the Garda, the response by the authorities was immediately to go after Conor McGregor and other folks who were saying hey we need to address this.”
The pair also touched on future concerns, including rising national debt and the potential for social unrest.
Bannon in particular warned about the financial implications of immigration policies was stark: “We are Beyond broke; we are technically in bankruptcy right now.”

Source: Biden Pressure on Israeli Tactics Will Leave Hamas Intact and in Power
A source within the Israeli government told Breitbart News on Tuesday that U.S. President Joe Biden’s pressure would lead to Hamas surviving the war intact, rather than allowing Israel to destroy Hamas or remove its military and governing capabilities.
In recent days, the White House has acknowledged that Israel intends to continue fighting Hamas after the current “pause,” sought by Biden to allow the release of hostages, ends later this week.
“The Israelis have been pretty clear that once the pauses are complete and the hostage exchanges [sic] are over that they intend to continue their military operations against Hamas,” White House adviser John Kirby said on Monday (Israel does not hold “hostages”; it is releasing convicted Palestinian terrorists).
However, the White House is no longer clearly stating that it shares that goal. And the Israeli government privately believes Biden is prepared to tolerate the survival of Hamas, despite the fact that Hamas and other terror groups would see that as a victory.
The reason Israel believes this is Biden’s goal is that the U.S. administration is imposing onerous conditions on the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) regarding its operations in Gaza, such that defeating Hamas has become almost impossible.
The New York Times described these Tuesday:
Neither the U.S. nor neighboring Egypt — a U.S. ally — has made plans to allow residents of Gaza to leave the area during fighting, nor have any other Arab countries offered to take in Palestinians, meaning Israel alone bears the risk to Palestinian civilians.
Middle East analyst and commentator Caroline Glick went into further detail in a column for the Jewish News Syndicate. She said, for example, that Biden’s opposition to Israeli airstrikes on buildings gave Hamas snipers the ability to kill Israeli soldiers.
She wrote: “At a minimum, it is clear that Biden’s preference for the lives of civilians in Gaza over the lives of IDF soldiers on the ground ensures that far more soldiers will be killed in the fighting than would otherwise.”
She noted that Biden had originally questioned Hamas’s statistics on civilian casualties in Gaza — which fail to distinguish between Hamas terrorists and true non-combatants — but that he had since apologized to anti-Israel Muslim groups and now uses the faulty Hamas death statistics.
(Arab- and Muslim-American voters in Michigan, a key swing state in the 2024 election, are also threatening to sit out the race, and polls suggest that young voters, who are swayed by negative social media portrayals of Israel, oppose Biden’s public stance.)
Glick added that Israel likely knew the locations in which most of the hostages were being kept, but had been prevented from launching military operations to rescue them because of the high potential cost in civilian lives, which Biden would not tolerate.
Moreover, Glick noted, the Biden administration insists on letting the Palestinian Authority control Gaza after the war, rather than allowing Israel to control security there — a return to the status quo before 2007, when Hamas staged a coup in Gaza.
This, she said, fundamentally placed Israeli security at risk, as did the Biden administration’s opposition to measures such as blockades, which Israel and Egypt were forced to impose on Gaza after Hamas began importing weapons into the territory.
The Biden administration is currently divided over Israel, with many staff members opposed to Biden’s public support for Israel, and pressing for a return to the “distance” of the Barack Obama administration, when the U.S. often sided against Israel.
The U.S. is using Qatar to pressure Israel to accept further pauses in military operations, rather than using U.S. leverage on the tiny Gulf dictatorship to insist that it stop supporting terror. In 2022, Biden designated Qataras a “major non-NATO ally” of the U.S., despite its brazen support for Hamas, whose billionaire terrorist leaders live in luxury in the Qatari capital of Doha.
Glick noted that the U.S. has near-total leverage over Israel because of Israeli dependence on American munitions for resupply. (Iran supplies Hamas and other terror organizations, and Russia supplies advanced weapons systems to the Iranian regime.)
She suggested that the Republican-held House of Representatives hold hearings into the Biden administration’s pressure on Israel.
On Tuesday, after Hamas terrorists violated the terms of the “pause” by wounding three Israeli soldiers with bombs, and Israel failed to respond by ending the truce, Glick warned of a “strategic collapse” in the Israeli government.
If such a collapse happens, critics say, it would be a result of Biden’s pressure — and possibly part of a broader goal inside the administration to make sure that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been effective in resisting U.S. policies in the region in the past, no longer controls his own democratically-elected government.
Israel may also be reluctant to return to fighting because of domestic pressure to free hostages by any means necessary. But there are also Israeli voices — primarily on the right — who argue that if Israel places hostage talks ahead of destroying Hamas, it will let Hamas survive and take more hostages in the future.
Many of the same left-wing groups supported by the Biden administration during protests against Netanyahu’s judicial reforms earlier this year are also active in ongoing protests to free the hostages.
Israeli analysts have described Biden’s recent approach to Israel as a tight hug — one that looks, on the surface, like support, but one that also prevents the Israeli government from moving on its own and doing what it must to defend its own security.
The Biden administration might argue that restraining Israel is necessary to appease Arab allies or the Muslim world. But the implications of a Hamas victory for U.S. security could be like the rise of ISIS in Iraq after Obama’s hasty 2011 withdrawal.

Hamas slaughtered 1,400 Israelis and foreigners in an October 7, 2023, attack on civilians in southern Israel.
The terror group also took at least 240 Jews and foreigners hostage.
Israel released photos of dozens of young beautiful women who went missing following the historic Hamas attack on Israel.
Hamas reportedly launched over 5,000 missiles into southern and central Israel. Over 1,300 Israelis were killed, and over 1,000 were hospitalized following the massive assault inside Israel.
Hundreds of Israelis were attending a dance party, also described as a peace party, in the desert near the border when Hamas launched its attack.
Chaos erupted after Hamas reportedly opened fire on the gathering. Hundreds of Israelis ran into the desert to hide.
Several of the women who attended the party are still missing and may have been brought back to Gaza.
In the past week Hamas has released 59 hostages including 36 Israeli hostages and 12 Thai hostages.
None of the missing women pictured above have been released.
Now there are reports that Hamas has offered to released ALL ISRAELI HOSTAGES in exchange for a full ceasefire in Gaza.

In a classless act, Pro-Palestine protesters flocked to former First Lady Rosalynn Carter’s memorial service in Atlanta, Georgia.
The protesters were seen chanting and holding signs outside the Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church in Atlanta, where Rosalynn’s tribute service was taking place.
The demonstrators could be heard screaming, “Biden, Biden, you can’t hide. We charge you with genocide!”
As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, the Bidens, the Clintons, and Michelle Obama all flew on Air Force One to attend the event.

A young fan’s request for a photograph with American rapper Nardo Wick turned into a nightmare when he was viciously attacked by members of the rapper’s entourage, according to video evidence and sources familiar with the incident.
The 20-year-old fan was admitted to the hospital with grave injuries, including a brain hemorrhage, which prompted a police investigation into the rapper’s entourage, responsible for the brutal attack.
The incident occurred late Sunday night following Nardo Wick’s performance at Club Skye in Tampa, Florida.
Sources have told TMZ that the fan recognized Nardo—real name Horace Bernard Walls III—as he exited the venue around 1:15 AM and approached for a photo.
Video footage obtained by TMZ shows the grim moment of the unprovoked attack wherein the fan was sucker-punched by one of Nardo’s crew members, causing the victim’s head to smash against a concrete wall.
Reeling from the initial blow, the fan was hit yet again by another individual from the group, driving him to the ground where his head struck the pavement, as per TMZ’s report. While Nardo Wick, identifiable in a white shirt in the video, appeared to attempt to de-escalate the situation, the violence had already taken its toll.

In a victory for the right to bear arms, Maryland’s onerous Handgun Qualification License law was declared unconstitutional in a 2-1 decision, with Judge Julius Richardson (a Trump appointee) writing the court’s opinion.
The process to obtain a firearm in Maryland is “a long and winding” one. The Fourth Court explained that “Like with any firearms transfer—whether a purchase from a licensed dealer, gun show, or private person, or even a gift from a family member or friend—you must comply with Maryland’s … registration process, which requires you to fill out an application with certain identifying information and then wait seven days while the state performs a background check. And if you want to carry your handgun, you need to get a separate carry permit too.”
But that’s not all. There is a further prerequisite that must be satisfied to obtain a handgun. Before an applicant can commence the “normal” licensing process, she must obtain a Handgun Qualification License. To do so, an applicant must:
Submit fingerprints to undergo a background investigation;
Take a four-hour long “firearms safety training course”;
Fire at least one live round; and
Wait up to thirty days for approval before you can start the rest of the process.
The Fourth Circuit ruled that this preliminary process for obtaining a handgun was unconstitutional. This is a big win for gun rights, considering that the Fourth Circuit is often extremely inimical towards the right to bear arms. Still, the Court’s opinion is well reasoned and provides an excellent precedent for use in future Second Amendment cases.
The Fourth Circuit explains that under Bruen, we begin with the plain text of the Second Amendment: “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” Although the plaintiffs challenging the law fell within the definition of “the People,” the Court flagged a potential “wrinkle.” Specifically, the Second Amendment’s text does not expressly mention purchasing or acquiring arms at a moment’s notice.
The Court correctly recognized that the “plain text” of the Second Amendment necessarily protects rights beyond the rights to have and to carry arms. It explained:
[T]the Amendment’s text protects only the right to “keep and bear” arms. But, on its face, the challenged law says nothing about whether Plaintiffs may “keep” or “bear” handguns. It only restricts Plaintiffs’ ability to “purchase, rent, or receive” them. How, then, does the law regulate the right to keep and bear arms?
The answer is not complicated. If you do not already own a handgun, then the only way to “keep” or “bear” one is to get one, either through sale, rental, or gift. And the challenged law cuts off all three avenues—at least, for those who do not comply with its terms.” (internal cites omitted).
In other words, if a person’s ability to acquire firearms is restricted, then that person’s right to keep and bear arms is infringed.
In keeping with Heller and Bruen, the Fourth Circuit relied upon Founding-era dictionaries to define “infringe.” Founding era lexicographers Samuel Johnson and Noah Webster defined “infringe” to mean “to hinder or destroy.” Thus, if the licensing regime hinders the Second Amendment, it implicates its text because it constitutes as “infringement.”
Would Founding Fathers Favor Gun Control? Not a Chance.
The Founding Fathers are invoked by both sides of the gun control debate. Gun rights supporters argue that the Second Amendment makes it pretty clear they weren’t fans of restricting the right to keep and bear arms. After all, no one has shown that “shall not be infringed” had a different meaning back in their time.

Yet time and time again, anti-Second Amendment types routinely claim that the Founding Fathers would support their favorite gun control schemes. The guys who figured the people would have to rise up and fight their government on regular basis, for example, wouldn’t want us to have AR-15s because they’re just way too dangerous.
But what were their own words on the topic?
Of course, there are a lot more over at AMAC’s website, so go and look and keep those handy.
Now, these are their own words. These are the things that if a presidential candidate said on the campaign trail here and now, the gun control crowd would lose their minds over. “HOW DARE HE?” they would exclaim.
Yet they said it.
Here’s the flip side of this, though. Not a single gun control advocate has presented a single quote from a Founding Father that seems to even hint at supporting the restriction of the right to keep and bear arms.
How can gun control be what the Founding Fathers would support today if there’s not even a hint that they supported such an idea then?
See, when gun control supporters make the claim that the Founders would support an assault weapon ban, they ignore that they opposed restricting the ownership of cannons so far as we can tell. What they’re doing is simply superimposing their own beliefs onto people who cannot defend their views here and now.
It’s always convenient to do that simply because the dead can’t answer for the things said about them today.
Yet they said plenty back in the day, and absolutely none of it supports the gun control crowd’s beliefs.

United Nations set to call on Americans to reduce meat consumption

A lead United Nations agency overseeing food and agriculture policy is expected to issue a road map in the coming weeks which will call on the West, including America, to dramatically reduce its meat consumption.
The UN’s Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) will publish its so-called global food systems’ road map during the upcoming COP28 climate summit in Dubai which will kick off on Thursday and extend nearly two weeks until mid-December. FAO’s first-of-its-kind document will recommend nations that “over-consume meat” to limit their consumption as part of a broader effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, Bloomberg reported.
“The failure of leading meat and dairy companies to reduce emissions underlines the urgent need for more policy focus on the food and agriculture sector,” Jeremy Coller, the chair and founder of the FAIRR Initiative, an investor network that works with financial institutions to promote climate-friendly agriculture worldwide, said in a recent statement.
“Food system emissions deserve a place at the top of the table, alongside energy and transport, as they represent an estimated third of greenhouse gas emissions and 40% of methane,” he continued. “Investors hope the first-ever publication of a food and agriculture road map at COP28 this month will catalyze the transition to 1.5 degrees and a more sustainable food system.”
In addition to issuing guidelines for reducing meat consumption in the West, the FAO is expected to highlight how farmers should adapt to “erratic weather” and tackle their emissions produced from food waste and use of fertilizer, according to Bloomberg. The recommendations, which the U.S. COP28 delegation may sign onto, will not be binding.

Overall, the road map will seek to guide policy on lowering the climate impact of the global agriculture industry, which has rarely received such attention at past UN climate conferences. Past COP summits have been far more keen to address emissions generated from the global power, transportation and manufacturing sectors.
“We already have solutions to tackle climate change, and many of these solutions, whether it is agroforestry, restoration of soils, sustainable livestock, or fisheries management, have multiple benefits as they can also support the sustainable use of biodiversity, as well as help with food security — multiple benefits from the same solutions that only agriculture and food systems offer,” Kaveh Zahedi, the director of the FAO Office of Climate Change, said last week.

The global food system — which includes land-use change, actual agricultural production, packaging and waste management — generates about 18 billion tons of carbon dioxide per year, the equivalent of 34% of total worldwide emissions, according to a March 2021 study published in the Nature Food journal. FAO data indicates livestock alone is responsible for around 14.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions.
The UN has, for years, called for individuals to ditch animal-based diets, which it says “have a high impact on our planet.” Instead, individuals should choose plant-based foods, according to the UN, which can reduce a person’s annual carbon footprint by up to 2.1 tons.

In the U.S., though, agriculture alone generates about 10% of total greenhouse gas emissions, federal data shows. The American agriculture sector accounts for just 1.4% of global emissions and has implemented a wide range of solutions, making it the nation’s lowest-emitting economic sector.

“America’s farmers and ranchers are climate heroes, reducing emissions while providing abundant and affordable food, fiber, and fuel,” House Agriculture Committee Chairman Glenn Thompson, R-Pa., told Fox News Digital in a statement.
“Regulating producers out of business in the U.S. will not effectively address global climate change, but export production to foreign countries with hostile regimes and worse emissions profiles while harming food security and affordability. Simply put, the world needs American farmers and ranchers more than the UN,” he added.
According to the American Farm Bureau Federation, U.S. farmers are getting more than three times the production compared to what they put in. And emissions have significantly declined in pork and beef production.

In May, meanwhile, Thompson joined a group of fellow House Republicans in rebuking President Biden’s special climate envoy John Kerry over his comments singling out food emissions. They called on President Biden and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to disavow the comments which were delivered at the Department of Agriculture’s AIM for Climate Summit earlier that month.
“A lot of people have no clue that agriculture contributes about 33% of all the emissions of the world,” Kerry remarked at the time. “We can’t get to net-zero, we don’t get this job done unless agriculture is front and center as part of the solution. So all of us understand here the depths of this mission.”
“Food systems themselves contribute a significant amount of emissions just in the way in which we do the things we’ve been doing,” he continued. “With a growing population on the planet – we just crossed the threshold of 8 billion fellow citizens around the world – emissions from the food system alone are projected to cause another half a degree of warming by mid-century.”
Neither FAO nor Kerry’s office responded to a request for comment by time of publication.
