W5, the Canadian version of the.famous American news program 60 Minutes, services the Canadian government. Here, it goes after a Canadian company for tax evasion even though the issue is in the courts. The owner of the company says the Canadian Revenue Agency (tax man) will not bring criminal charges against him because it would then have to explain itself in court.
My question is, why spend taxpayer money to prejudice the proceeding in the court of public opinion? Another question is why does the Canadian government impose such massive taxes on the Canadian people in the first place? After all, if exorbitant taxes were not levied in the first place, or are found to be unjustified, there would be no story here. Why does it penalize risk-taking enterprisers who provide services that the government, itself, deems cost inefficient?
Socialism is a lousy business model. It forever and always leads to bankruptcy. It skims off the productive class until that segment is exhausted. Risk takers then take what capital they have left to kinder jurisdictions. More than anything else, this is a broadcast hit piece against capitalism.
I suspect the biggest mistake this entrepreneur has made is that he did not yet grow his company large enough to hire a lobbyist to connect him politically to Parliament. He is a real capitalist, operating by his wits, unlike the likes of politically-ensconced SNC Lavalin, who pulls Dear Leader’s strings.
If socialism is a bad business model, communism is worse. Fascism, contrarily, is a much better option for the budding tyrant. By partnering up with the largest businesses government is able to spread the risk while tapping into the more efficient private sector. This model is fascism and also cronyism. Today it is very fashionable to trash capitalism, saying it is corrupt and in a state of crisis. Both of these accusations are untrue, because if a company is not politically connected, it is not crony connected.
Don’t be fooled by state-paid and produced anti-capitalism propaganda. It’s the only model that puts bread on our tables at competitive prices. Cronyism strives always for monopoly: the start of inefficiency.

BREAKING: Arrest Made After Three Palestinian Students Shot in Vermont – Suspect Identified
by Jim Hoft Nov. 27, 2023 7:30 am64 Comments
As reported earlier – Three top Palestinian college students were fatally shot in what is being characterized as a “bias attack.” The victims, who were attending woke institutions such as Harvard, Brown University, and Trinity University, were targeted while on their way to a family dinner in Vermont’s bustling city of Burlington, the New York Post reported.
The Arab American Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) named the individuals involved as Hiham Awartani, Tahseen Ali, and Kenan Abdulhamid, who had gathered to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday break.
According to WCAX: “The suspect was on foot in the area when investigators say he discharged at least four rounds from his pistol without speaking. Two of the victims were wearing keffiyehs at the time of the assault, according to Chief Murad.”
Authorities transported the victims to the University of Vermont Medical Center. The Arab American Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) reported that two of the individuals were in intensive care, with one suffering from extremely critical and severe injuries.

SCHOOL HELL: Students at Infamous Hillcrest High School in Queens Filmed Beating Security Guard (VIDEO)
by Jim Hoft Nov. 27, 2023 7:45 am139 Comments
Last Monday Hillcrest High School in Queens made national headlines after students rioted in the hallways after learning a Jewish teacher had attended a pro-Israel rally in New York City.
The pre-planned riot started on Monday in what students called “a pre-planned protest’ over the teacher’s Facebook profile photo, which showed her holding a poster saying, ‘I stand with Israel.’
The female teacher hid in her classroom for hours until it was safe for her to leave the building.
On Sunday New York City Council woman Vickie Paladino released a second violent video from Hillcrest High School that was reportedly taken a week befor the riot.

Years ago – a tiny, passionately Christian village. Farms overtaken by postwar auto industry, housing for workers. Hillbillies/migrants from the South. The most prominent landmark was a flashing neon sign that said: Jesus saves!

‘War Is Peace’: MSNBC Claims (Again) That Voting Is Anti-Democratic

That’s how stupid they think their loyal Democrat viewers/readers are, that they can’t see through the most glaring contradiction in all of human history; that merely by waving hypnotically the avatar of the Orange Bad Man in front of their faces, back and forth, they can convince them that voting the wrong way makes the fascists.
If they can convince their audience that the act of voting is anti-democratic, the sky’s the limit gaslighting-wise. No contradiction is too strained to bear. Cognitive dissonance has been fully remedied by the state. The full surrender of their conscience to the hive-mind is then complete.

Ex-Disney Actress Arrested for Allegedly Vandalizing Israeli Company Office in Anti-Israel Protest
by Andrew Jose, The Western Journal Nov. 27, 2023 10:15 am16 Comments
Police in Merrimack, New Hampshire, arrested a former Disney actress and two others Monday on charges related to the vandalism of an office belonging to the U.S. branch of Israeli defense company Elbit Systems.
The former actress, 27-year-old Connecticut resident Bridget Irene Shergalis, along with co-defendants, Massachusetts residents 22-year-old Sophie Marika Ross and 19-year-old Calla Mairead Walsh, faces charges of riot, sabotage, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct, WTNH-TV reported.
The trio were among a group of demonstrators protesting against Elbit as part of a demonstration organized by anti-Israel activist group Palestine Action US, the New York Post reported.
The protesters blocked the building’s driveway, all while shouting pro-Palestinian slogans, and splashed the structure with red paint, The Daily Mail reported.
Smoke reportedly rose from the building’s roof, prompting emergency personnel from the Merrimack Fire Department to respond to the incident, WBTS-TV reported.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the building’s front side sprayed with red paint, while windows were smashed and one of the doors to the structure’s main lobby locked with a bicycle lock, officers said, according to WBTS.
Police took Shergalis, Ross, and Walsh into custody after finding them on the roof. Officers on the roof discovered signs of further damage to the building, such as spraypainting, destroyed skylights, and damaged HVAC equipment, the news station reported.
The trio were reportedly arraigned Tuesday at the Hillsborough County Superior Court.
“This is outright violence. It’s criminality. It is malicious targeting of property and of people,” Anti-Defamation League New England regional director Jonah Steinberg told the Post.
“In this time of Hamas terrorism against Israel, it is extremely concerning if Hamas is setting the example for people who consider themselves activists on this side of the sea,” Steinberg added, according to the outlet.
A former actress and comedian, Shergalis starred as Bridget Cook in the Disney TV series “So Random” and Stains in the show “Liv and Maddie.”
Shergalis also made guest appearances in the shows “Dog With A Blog” and “Shake it Up.”
In a Thursday X post, Walsh, one of the co-defendants in the incident, complained of having to pay $20,000 in bail
Walsh also claimed to face “an extreme level of political repression from the state” and requested for “all the support I can get.”
“History will absolve us,” Walsh wrote.
“This is what happens when limousine liberals who grow up with a silver spoon in their mouth are beholden to TikTok trends rather than having facts on situations,” Republican strategist Garrett Ventry said, according to The Post.
“The continuation of the false equivalence between Israel and Palestine shows just a lack of understanding of history and morals,” Ventry added, The Post reported.
“Elbit America employs thousands of Americans who are dedicated to the mission of creating innovative solutions that protect and save lives,” Elbit Systems said in a Monday news statement shared with WBTS.
in Heated Debate Over Vivek’s Controversial Background
“We support the rights of protesters to peacefully express their views. However, what we experienced today was violent criminal behavior as evidenced by the arrests made by local law enforcement,” the company said, according to the news station.

U.S. Justice Dept. Takes Surprising Action with Church Plan to Feed the Hungry
by Guest Contributor Nov. 27, 2023 10:00 am50 Comments
American city looking to put kibosh on program
The Department of Justice has issued a statement of interest in a fight going on in Oregon between a church whose members want to give food to their community members and a city that wants to restrict that activity.
“Many churches and faith-based organizations across the country are on the front lines serving the critical needs of people experiencing hunger and homelessness,” explained Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. “Discriminatory zoning restrictions that burden and limit religious organizations’ use of their land violate federal antidiscrimination laws. The Justice Department is committed to enforcing federal civil rights laws to ensure that all religious groups can freely exercise their religious beliefs.”
The fight is raging in U.S. District Court over the decision by the city of Brookings to restrict the activities of St. Timothy’s church.
The church has sued, claiming the city imposed a substantial burden on its religious service with an ordinance that bans the church from serving free meals to people in need more than two days per week.

Video Shows Random Bus Station Sitting in Arizona Desert to Pick Up Border Invaders
by Jim Hoft Nov. 27, 2023 9:30 am97 Comments
Anthony Aguero posted video this past weekend from the Arizona border with Mexico.
Aguero filmed a random bus station in the Arizona desert across from the border with Mexico. Illegal aliens are shipped across the region once they illegally cross into the US and Arizona from Mexico.
The invasion is a highly organized operation that involves NGOs, government, and businesses cooperating together to distribute the invaders across the US.
This is Joe Biden’s America.
Anthony Aguero: These NGOs out here continue to come through here and they’re facilitating the entrance. They are encouraging more people to come over illegally. As you can see right here, this is a water station. Pretty much. These people come here, they fill up their water bottles, come grab as much water as they need. Sometimes they leave there’s some of the cups, sometimes they leave food, sometimes they leave snacks for them. But nonetheless, this is a water station. And let me show you guys what the interesting thing about this is. Right across from this water station, which this is the wall right here. And you can see people have started small brush fires out here. Right across from this station, guys, is this.
A random bus station in the middle of nowhere at this particular location, migrants will arrive throughout the day, all day long by these random bus companies arriving there. Then they would wait until given the green light to get to these water rehydration stations put out by Humane Borders out of Arizona, which is the NGO who is currently operating out here in the aiding and abetting with these individuals as they’re coming in. The funny thing about it is that these individuals actually out here on the border, know the exact times that migrants are coming through and the exact locations. So there seems to be coordination between both sides. Ironically enough, in order to volunteer for these NGOs, you have to have a valid passport.

UPDATE: Tommy Robinson Released from Prison After He Was Gassed, Cuffed, Detained and Arrested for Attending Rally Against Anti-Semitism – Is Now Banned from London
by Jim Hoft Nov. 27, 2023 9:15 am71 Comments
Police arrest Tommy Robinson for attending protest as journalist in London, Nov. 26, ’23.
Tommy Robinson was gassed and arrested on Sunday in London after police surrounded him, gassed him, cuffed him, and dragged him away from a protest against anti-Semitism in London.
Tommy was covering the protest as a journalist.
The London police would rather arrest Tommy than confront the thousands of radical Muslims in the city who support the Hamas terrorist group.
Tommy Robinson recorded much of the incident live on Twitter-X.
On Monday Tommy Robinson was released from prison.
Tommy thanked all of his supporters and described the conditions of his release.
This epitomizes the current insanity of British authorities and the globalist left.

Greta Thunberg Caught on Video Going Full Anti-Semite, Chanting ‘Crush Zionism’: Report
by Joe Saunders, The Western Journal Nov. 27, 2023 9:00 am154 Comments
When it comes to leftist extremists, Greta Thunberg keeps getting clearer.
The 20-year-old Swedish agitator and poster girl for perpetually adolescent progressives hasn’t been shy about grabbing headlines since bursting onto the world scene in her mid-teens.
First, she was anti-fossil fuels. Then she was anti-capitalism. Now, according to a report coming out of Stockholm, she’s a virulent anti-Semite, too.
In a way it’s fitting that the world’s newest cause of fearmongering is coalescing with the world’s oldest racial hatred: Both are are grounded in irrational emotion. Both claim to be operating for the good of humanity.

America’s Sixth-Largest Bank Announces Closure of 19 Additional Branches Nationwide After Closing 203 Branches in 2023
by Jim H?ft Nov. 27, 2023 8:45 am96 Comments
Major US banks are continuing their plans to shut down branches nationwide, resulting in a growing number of Americans being left without access to essential financial services.
America’s sixth-largest bank, PNC, has confirmed the closure of 19 more branches nationwide, following a staggering 203 branch closures earlier this year. This decision, aligning with the bank’s shift towards digital banking, is raising concerns among customers who prefer traditional banking methods.
Scheduled for February 2024, the closures will primarily impact ?Pennsylvania, where the majority of branches marked for closure are located. However, several branches in other states, including ?Illinois, ?Texas, Alabama, New Jersey, Ohio, Florida, and Indiana, will also be shutting their doors, leaving customers in these regions with limited access to in-person banking services, The Sun reported.
This decision follows the shutdown of a branch in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, on November 17, where banking services have been limited to an ATM across the street, and the bank’s assets have been transferred to a nearby location.

Dublin riots and the controversy over Irish fighter Conor McGregor
The MMA star has become a hero of the far right for his comments after a stabbing outside a school
Conor McGregor, one of the world’s most famous athletes, is standing in front of a burning bus in Dublin. Dressed in his trademark three-piece suit, he gazes into the distance as a mob — fists clenched, faces covered, petrol bombs in hand — stand behind him.
The image is a fabrication, a digitalised “artwork” posted to Twitter/X on Friday by Paul Golding, leader of the far-right political group Britain First, who has previously been convicted of religiously aggravated harassment and a terror offence.
It speaks to the unusual position that the mixed martial arts fighter McGregor, formerly Forbes’ highest-paid athlete in the world, has found himself in recently. McGregor has been accused of fomenting unrest in his home city and elsewhere and been embroiled in controversy thanks to comments hitting out at immigration in Ireland and saying the country was at “war”. There is no suggestion McGregor has endorsed the violence or the politics of the far right.

Farm Attacks Up 21 Percent in Anti-White South Africa.
Attacks on South Africa’s predominantly white farmers increased by 21 percent in the third quarter of 2023, with 88 attacks launched for an average of almost one per day.
The figures were collected by the Community Safety Division of AfriForum, a civil rights organization with a focus on the Afrikaans-speaking white minority, often referred to as Boers. Covering the period from July to September, they contrast with 73 farm attacks from April to June, although murders during farm attacks are down from 23 to 13.
The attackers, who average 2.33 per incident, generally target the elderly, with the average age of the average age of their victims being over 60.
Rhetoric against Afrikaners and the white minority more generally in South Africa has intensified in recent months, with Julius Malema of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party leading packed stadiums in chants of “shoot to kill… kill the Boer, the farmer.”
The South African government, led by the African National Congres (ANC), is also targeting white farmers, by pushing to expropriate and redistribute their land without compensation and forcing them to submit to onerous “black economic empowerment” regulations or face restrictions on their ability to export to the United Kingdom and the European Union.

US Navy foils gunmen attempting to hijack an Israel-linked tanker off Yemen
Lloyd Lee
Sun, November 26, 2023 at 7:04 PM CST·5 min read
An unidentified group of attackers seized an Israel-linked tanker off the coast of Yemen on Sunday.
A US Navy warship responded to a distress call and secured the seized ship, an official said.
Zodiac Maritime, which manages the ship, said the seizure was a “suspected piracy incident.”
Attackers seized a tanker linked to Israel off the coast of Yemen on Sunday, authorities said. While no group immediately claimed responsibility, it comes after at least two other maritime attacks in recent days have been linked to the Israel-Hamas war.
The attackers seized the Liberian-flagged Central Park, managed by Zodiac Maritime, in the Gulf of Aden, the company and private intelligence firm Ambrey said. An American defense official, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss intelligence matters, confirmed to The Associated Press that the attack took place.
Zodiac called the seizure “a suspected piracy incident.”
“Our priority is the safety of our 22 crew onboard,” Zodiac said in a statement. “The Turkish-captained vessel has a multinational crew consisting of a crew of Russian, Vietnamese, Bulgarian, Indian, Georgian and Filipino nationals. The vessel is carrying a full cargo of phosphoric acid.”
A US Navy warship responded to a distress call from the tanker and secured the ship, US officials told Reuters.
Zodiac described the vessel as being owned by Clumvez Shipping Inc., though other records directly linked Zodiac as the owner. London-based Zodiac Maritime is part of Israeli billionaire Eyal Ofer’s Zodiac Group. British corporate records listed two men with the last name Ofer as a current and former director of Clumvez Shipping, including Daniel Guy Ofer, also a director at Zodiac Maritime.
It wasn’t immediately clear who was behind the attack. Nearby Aden is held by forces allied to Yemen’s internationally recognized government and a Saudi-led coalition that has battled Yemen’s Iranian-backed Houthi rebels for years. In theory, that part of the Gulf of Aden is controlled by those forces and is relatively distant from Houthi-controlled territory in the country. Somali pirates also are not known to operate in that area.
The US defense official said that it appeared “an unknown number of unidentified armed individuals” seized the ship.
One senior US official told Fox News Chief National Security Correspondent Jennifer Griffin that five gunmen were involved in the attempted hijacking.
Crew members of the Central Park tanker locked themselves in the ship’s safe room for safety, the official told Griffin. The gunmen failed to beat the door down.

The Phantom Menace of the Irish ‘Far Right’
In Dublin on Thursday, a middle-aged man, a naturalized citizen said to be from an Islamic country, went on a stabbing spree outside an elementary school. Before passersby brought him down, three small children and two adults lay bleeding from their wounds. Within hours, parts of Dublin were burning. Why? “The far right,” said an Irish police official—a claim dutifully magnified by the nation’s woke media.
Don’t you believe it. Brian Kaller, a Dublin friend and independent journalist who went onto the streets to see what the ruckus was about, wrote me to say the people he interviewed leaving the riot area said the initial protest had been peaceful, but it turned violent when the police tried to break it up. The looters, the people told Kaller, didn’t look Irish. Kaller added that Ireland, which doesn’t even have a conservative political party, has no ‘far right’ to his knowledge, “but this is the way to create one.”
Well, don’t you worry, friends: the Irish state will stop at nothing to fight this Far-Right Menace. Leo Varadkar, the prime minister, announced that the government would tighten “laws against incitement to hatred and hatred in general.” Because the problem here is not mass migration, you see; the problem is having negative opinions about all this ‘diversity,’ which one is only supposed to notice if one is celebrating it.
Varadkar’s response is entirely in keeping with the fact that the Irish are governed by a ruling class (including the media) that hates the country, its traditions, and its people. A headline in Friday’s Irish Times: “It’s hard to overstate the European Union’s positive influence on Ireland’s economy.”

Hamas and its supporters around the world are worse than Nazis
By Andrea Widburg
World War II historian Andrew Roberts has a powerful essay making an important point: Hamas is worse than the Nazis because the Nazis still had a sufficient moral compass to be embarrassed by their genocidal crimes, while Hamas and its supporters are loud and proud. And when I say supporters, I don’t just mean the Gazastanians, a huge majority of whom support both Hamas and the massacre of Israelis. I mean their collaborators in the West, too, with the execrable Greta Thunberg as Exhibit A.
Roberts writes that, while still lacking the wherewithal to kill six million Jews, Hamas and the whole panoply of antisemitic Jihadists are “qualitatively worse than the Nazis in their belief systems, impulses, and instincts.” The reason?

Humanity Under Assault by the Elites – When Will We Have Had Enough?

“I speak of peace, therefore, as the necessary rational end of rational men. I realize that the pursuit of peace is not as dramatic as the pursuit of war–and frequently the words of the pursuer fall on deaf ears. But we have no more urgent task.” – John F. Kennedy
For most people, it’s difficult to visualize much of what’s happening today. This is why so many seem in the dark about what we should do to alleviate our problems. Looking at the situation in which a proxy war is being waged on Russia from Ukraine, things just don’t seem to add up. The same is true for the genocide now going on in Gaza. And when we superimpose problems like curing cancer and other diseases, environmental problems, and failing economies, the only thing we can see is that our leaders have failed miserably at prioritising. It’s also obvious that we, the people, are the farthest thing from their minds.

What Caused the Dramatic Drop in Lithium Prices?
By ZeroHedge – Nov 26, 2023, 12:00 PM CST
Lithium carbonate prices in China plummeted from $84,500 to $18,630 per metric ton, marking a 78% decline.
The slowdown in electric vehicle expansion plans by manufacturers like General Motors and Honda contributes to the lithium oversupply.
The global lithium market is not expected to rebalance and return to a deficit until 2028, according to industry forecasts.
The price of battery-grade lithium carbonate has crashed in the last 12 months. This downward pressure is attributed to oversupplied markets in Asia, primarily because the global adoption rate of electric vehicles has notably slowed amid high interest rates.
Since November 2022, the average price of battery-grade lithium carbonate in China plunged from $84,500 per metric ton to $18,630, or about a 78% decline.
According to forecasts from industry consultancy Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, the global lithium market won’t rebalance and return to a deficit until 2028.
General Motors, Honda, LG Energy Solution, and other auto and battery manufacturers have dialed back EV expansion plans in recent months, mainly because rising interest rates are curbing demand. This has created a global supply glut for the battery metal.
BloombergNEF’s Allan Ray Restauro said, “With lithium supply growing more next year, we are likely going to see prices falling further, adding, “On the demand side, some regional differences on EV sales have been dragging sentiment down around the industry.”
The world’s second-largest lithium producer, Chilean miner SQM, recently blamed the plunge in lithium prices on excess inventory, especially in Asia.
Plunging prices come as the ‘green’ energy bubble is melting down, with the world’s largest offshore wind farm developer, Orsted A/S, abandoning US projects, and solar stocks crashing on sliding demand.

Trillion Dollar Bailout: What Xi Really Wants From Biden
By Gregory R. Copley – Nov 21, 2023, 9:00 AM CST
Despite a significant economic crisis in mainland China since 2015, Xi has taken minimal steps to address it.
During his visit to San Francisco, Xi, seemingly desperate, requested a substantial $900-billion bailout for the Chinese economy from President Biden.
The leak came from within the CCP, indicating a faction eager to bring down Xi.
Communist Party of China (CCP) General Secretary Xi Jinping is now starkly aware that he is facing the end of his rule, and has turned to US Pres. Joe Biden to save him.
Specific reports are emerging as to the driving forces which made Xi act, in seeming desperation, to kowtow to US Pres. Joe Biden at the summit held on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Conference (APEC) in San Francisco between November 13 and 17,2023.
Xi’s Government of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) had, for at least two weeks before the summit, started a charm offensive aimed at the US. Until that time, Beijing had claimed to have been hesitant about whether the summit would take place, but the start of the charm offensive was a significant pointer to the depth of General Secretary Xi’s desperation and his increasingly mercurial behavior.
Despite the fact that the mainland China economic crisis had become significant and intense from at least 2015, Xi had taken virtually no steps to contain or correct it. Then, almost simultaneously with the charm offensive toward the US, the Xi Administration began some timid steps toward reversing its anti-private sector policies and promised unspecified support for private business in mainland China. This followed a xenophobically maoist policy, over the past decade, of containing private enterprise and attempting to push the economy under the domination of the state-owned enterprises (SOEs). The sudden volte-face by Xi, typical of his behavior since the October 2022 Party Congress at which he disposed of almost all of his visible opponents, highlighted more than ever his instability and, now, his increasing desperation as it has become clear that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) was patently unready and unprepared to execute Xi’s proposed military takeover of the Republic of China (ROC) on Taiwan.
Without being able to deliver on his “promise” to capture Taiwan, Xi was now left isolated within the Party as to why he had dissipated so much of communist China’s — and the CCP’s — treasure, and left the country on the verge of a new revolution. Unless he could pull a last-minute coup de main from his bag, he was facing imminent removal by the Par ty — anxious to save itself, as well — and the PLA.
That was at the core of his visit to San Francisco to literally plead with US Pres. Biden, and why he greeted with a sardonic smile Biden’s second naming of Xi as a “dictator”, a slip of the tongue of the less-than-disciplined President.
A significant source in the PRC has reported that Xi formally asked the US President to arrange an urgent $900-billion bailout for the communist Chinese economy. This specific detail could not be confirmed, but it fitted with the sudden and urgent campaign to stop Beijing’s bellicosity toward the US and to insist that the two could be friends and partners.
The leak of this information came from within the CCP, from elements anxious to bring down Xi Jinping, and they confirmed that the effort to remove Xi was now reaching a level of imminent action.
Without that injection of almost a trillion US dollars, the Chinese property market, among other things, will complete its collapse. Indeed, even with such an investment, it is probable that the mainland Chinese property market and overall economy would continue its slide. The scale of private sector bankruptcies and the interruption and closure of so many factories cannot be reversed overnight, and foreign trust in the PRC cannot be rebuilt overnight.
Would such a bailout save Xi? Perhaps not, but it would the perhaps the only opportunity open to him.
He was even forced, in San Francisco, to abandon the pretense that the PLA was ready to conquer Taiwan. These events represent a seismic shift in Xi’s policies, even though he publicly said that he could not renounce his intention to bring Taiwan into the communist fold.
Nor, indeed, is there any reason to believe that this is anything but a fairly cynical attempt to have the US bail out the political career of the man who, in 2018, said that he had specifically declared war on the United States, a war, he said, which would be the “new 30 Year War” (mirroring the European war which ended in 1648 with the Peace of Westphalia”. And Xi said that his new 30 Year War would result in a new “Peace of Westphalia” which would bring about a new “rules-based world order” under the CCP.
Our PRC source did not indicate whether Xi had received a response from Pres. Biden to the blunt and desperate request. There was no evidence that Mr Biden had received any advance warning of the request, but there were certainly expressions of concern when Beijing had, before the summit, embarked on the charm offensive.
That there is no substance to the charm offensive, however, was demonstrated by the continued antagonism toward the US and its allies in their actual practices on the military lines of confrontation.

Hydrogen Set to Compete with Fossil Fuels
By Brian Westenhaus – Nov 23, 2023, 3:00 PM CST
The research highlights the potential of hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Houston, with its existing hydrogen plants and natural gas pipeline infrastructure, is an ideal location for transitioning to hydrogen-powered transportation.
The study compares different hydrogen generation processes and concludes that hydrogen can be supplied at a cost competitive with traditional fuels, considering the environmental benefits.

Hydrogen
University of Houston energy researchers suggest hydrogen fuel can potentially be a cost-competitive and environmentally friendly alternative to gasoline and diesel, and that supplying hydrogen for transportation in the greater Houston area can be profitable today.
The research team is offering a white paper titled “Competitive Pricing of Hydrogen as an Economic Alternative to Gasoline and Diesel for the Houston Transportation Sector” where they examine the promise for the potential of hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the transportation sector.
The white paper offers that traditional liquid transportation fuels like gasoline and diesel are preferred because of their higher energy density. Unlike vehicles using gasoline, which releases carbon dioxide, and diesel – which contributes ground-level ozone, fuel cell electric vehicles refuel with hydrogen in five minutes and produce zero emissions.
The paper then pitches “According to the Texas Department of Transportation, Houston had approximately 5.5 million registered vehicles in the fiscal year 2022. Imagine if all these vehicles were using hydrogen for fuel.”

Hydrogen is NOT an energy gas. it may someday be an energy currency.
In other words, you need to make hydrogen which takes as much energy as you get. So at best it is a kind of energy currency where you convert it to a storable form, and then use it and it turns back to water vapour.
But it’s a very bad idea.
Unless maybe we start mining the sun for it 🙂

(Richard: Here is an informative article about Israeli gun control and the problems with having left wing governments that are afraid of the armed citizen. The 30% number on US gun ownership is misleading, this is the number who own the guns but when you add in those who are married to the gun owners or are children of the gun owners the number jumps to over 52%)
Israel and Gun Control
By Jessica Geraghty
There are recent headlines and talk about Israel relaxing gun control laws and arming citizens since the Hamas terrorist attacks October 7th. But these narratives can be deceiving. One Israeli tactical expert, Yonatan Stern, has exposed some concerning actions on behalf of the Israeli government that tell a different story.
Yonatan Stern was born in Israel in 1984, and joined the Israeli police at age 16, after growing up in Hebron, where he witnessed constant terror attacks. At age 18, he joined the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), where he served for three years. He then attended college, where he studied government and counter-terrorism operations before moving to the United States in 2007. Several years later he founded the Cherev Gidon Israeli Tactical Training Academy. Cherev Gidon means “sword of Gideon,” referring to the military leader, judge and prophet whose victory over the Midianites is recounted the Book of Judges in the Hebrew Bible. Stern brings a unique approach to firearms training that aims to address weak spots that he has identified in Americans’ firearm habits.
Is Israel Truly Willing to Give Citizens the Right to Self-Defense?
According to Stern, “almost nobody is allowed to own guns at all” in Israel. But most citizens enter the Israeli military at 18, and they are issued a rifle. Americans who enter the military are also issued rifles, but the difference is that American soldiers aren’t permitted to keep their rifles in their possession off base. “But in Israel it doesn’t work like that, in Israel, the soldiers usually leave their bases carrying their rifles with them,” says Stern. Upon discharge from the IDF, however, the rifle is taken from the Israeli soldier. And from the sounds of it, that soldier may never be able to even get a handgun, never mind a rifle, again. Images in the news recently of IDF soldiers carrying their weapons are contributing to public deception around the idea of “loosened” gun-control laws in Israel. “The problem is that people see these off-duty soldiers, very often who walk around in civilian clothes, carrying M16s on their back,” says Stern. “And the conclusion that outsiders come to, ‘oh look at that all these civilians in Israel are armed, they can just walk around lugging M16s on their back,’ and they see [Israel] as a gun utopia.”
If you are worried about gun control in America, you would not want to be an Israeli citizen. There is no Second Amendment in Israel. In fact, the second law that the Israeli legislature passed in 1949 was the confiscation of all firearms and munitions. About 2% of private citizens in Israel own firearms, as compared to 30% of people in the United States. “Out of those 2%, those lucky few who do have a firearm license in Israel, it’s only good for one pistol, no rifles, no shotgun, just one measly pistol.”
There has been a recent increase in the amount of ammunition a gun owner can possess in Israel from 50 to 100 rounds. But that might not make much of a difference, considering what Israeli citizens are now up against. “Whoop-de-doo — that’s a huge improvement. You know you’re up against heavily armed terrorists with AK 47s, and you’ve got now you’ve got a whole hundred rounds of 380 in your little Glock 42,” laments Stern.
Another problem is that very few Israeli citizens are eligible to apply for a gun permit. Even if you are eligible, you can be denied a permit without explanation. “I lived in a frontline settlement called Kiryat Arba which is next to the city of Hebron, it’s smack in the middle of the West Bank, we were getting shot at all the time, surrounded by Palestinian terrorists, I was eligible to apply but they denied me without giving a reason,” says Stern. “You know that’s the problem when you’re dealing with a bureaucracy, and you have these power-hungry bureaucrats, they don’t like the look on your face one day, they just decide nope.”
Failures of Israeli and American Leadership Prior to Hamas Attacks
How did Israel’s advanced and heavily funded intelligence services (including Shin Bet, Mossad, and the IDF) miss this impending attack from Hamas, which put its unarmed citizens in danger? Israel’s agents and informants have followed militant leaders such as those in Hamas in the past, and managed to stop them in their tracks. Israel’s intelligence services have motion sensors, cameras, army patrols and even a “smart barrier” along the border between Gaza and Israel. “Obviously heads are gonna have to roll for this,” says Stern. “I’m sure there are going to have to be investigations looking into who is responsible for these failures, and those responsible are going to have to face judgment for what they did.”
President Biden is making gun control a priority in America, with the regulations issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the new White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention, but the president is now under investigation for being a potential accessory to supplying Hamas terrorists with arms. When the U.S. pulled out of Afghanistan in 2021, it left behind $7.12 billion in military equipment, including 316,000 weapons. Some of these weapons were sold to Palestinian resistance groups through the black market.
Stern feels that Biden is also too focused on protecting Hamas and civilian casualties, and that his behavior in pressuring Israel on how to prosecute the war is unforgivable. “He should not be trying to place any conditions, and try to hinder Israel in any way, and I’m definitely disappointed about that, but I’m not surprised.”
Politically Motivated Disarmament in Israel Endangers Citizens
There also appears to be politically motivated disarmament going on in Israel since the Hamas attacks. Stern mentions the story of Amishov Melet, a security coordinator in Geulat Zion, a small community on the West Bank. Melet was issued an M16 rifle by the IDF to protect the settlement. Israel’s Shin Bet, which the Israeli equivalent of the United States’ FBI, had been monitoring Melet’s political activity and communications. “They didn’t like this guy because of his political views, he’s a right winger who’s outspoken, he’s conservative, he’s been critical of the government, and they decided he is not someone that they believe should have the right to defend himself or his community,” says Stern. “So they ordered the IDF to confiscate his rifle, his M16. That left his entire community exposed and vulnerable.”
After Stern drew attention to this story, other Israelis who were disarmed for similar reasons reached out to the press and on social media. “This is treason, to disarm your own people on the front lines in the midst of a war, that’s the worst betrayal that you can do.”
The good news is that some action has taken place on behalf of Israeli lawmakers, thanks to Stern’s exposure of the corrupt political establishment in Israel. Ministers Amichai Chikli (Likud) and Yitzhak Wasserlauf (Otzma Yehudit), along with 11 MKs addressed a letter to the Shin Bet, demanding that previously confiscated rifles be returned to the residents of Judea and Samaria.
Israel’s gun-control policies are much stricter than those of other countries typically known to be anti-gun, including Australia and England, says Stern. He believes that recent media narratives paint an all-too-forgiving picture of the willingness of Israeli leaders to arm and protect their citizens.

They chose the very worst manifestation of Leftism: Gun-grabbing. Maybe they should’ve stuck with Scriptural Judaism.
well, duhThe Hebrew translation of Go woke, go broke is 10/7. Proportional to population size, that’s *16* 9/11s.
(Richard: The following is a well thought out explanation on why Hamas is hiding among the civilians and how they are the ones to blame for civilian causalities not the Israeli’s. He also explains why the saturation bombing of WWII was not a war crime but an attempt to limit the production of weapons. The factories that produce the weapons and the people who work there are legitimate military targets, something the left doesn’t want us to understand.)
Endangering Civilians During Wartime
By William R. Hawkins
The hostage-prisoner exchange between Israel and Hamas is being called a “ceasefire” in the media, playing on the central demand of leftist demonstrators and others who favor the Palestinian cause. But the proper term is “truce,” a temporary pause in fighting to allow humanitarian actions. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared “The war continues…. until we have achieved complete victory… Eliminating Hamas, liberating our captives and making sure that post-Hamas there will be no threat to Israel.” The October 7 terrorist attack by Hamas killed 1,200 people, nearly all civilians, in sadistic fashion. Israel cannot allow Gaza to be a base for more such attacks as the Iran-backed group has pledged to do until Israel is destroyed.
Hamas, however, needs the truce to become a ceasefire to survive. The Israeli counterattack is methodically working its way through Gaza City with skillful tactics backed by superior firepower. Hamas as lost an estimated 5,000 fighters, including several leaders. The bulk of its forces (perhaps 20,000 fighters) have fled into southern Gaza, mixing in with refugees in the same way it tried to use civilians as human shields in the north. In pursuit, Israeli forces will have to fight in other urban centers smaller in size but overcrowded with refugees engaged with international relief agencies.
It is supposed concern for civilians caught in the combat zone that is generating the calls for a ceasefire and the opening of supply routes into Gaza. These calls should be ignored for several reasons. The most obvious is that those in the forefront of the “peace” movement with their calls for “liberating” Palestine “from the river to the sea” are working for the genocidal Hamas cause. They are pro-war, not anti-war, as they favor a victory by Hamas. Those who understand and support the Israeli cause see the chants of the Left as confirmation that the destruction of Hamas is imperative.
Even those who are sincere in their concern for the loss of life are basing their appeal on mistaken ideas about urban warfare and military history. Which side is putting civilians at risk? Israel is on the attack dropping bombs and sending in ground troops, but who has chosen the targets? The answer is Hamas by deploying in populated areas, hiding in Mosques, schools, and hospitals, digging tunnels under city blocks of apartments and shops. They picked the battlefield for their own purposes, one of which was to curry international sympathy as victims — a status they clearly do not deserve.
Let us step back from the emotions of the moment and seek perspective from military history. When Japan invaded the Philippines on December 8, 1941 (only 10 hours after the attack on Pearl Harbor), a prime objective was Manila. Gen. Douglas MacArthur wanted to spare the civilian population of the capital so declared Manila an “open city” and withdrew his troops to the Bataan peninsula and the fortress of Corregidor. They fought on until May 6, 1942, when they had to surrender. MacArthur escaped and vowed to return to free the islands, which he did on October 20, 1944. At that time General Tomoyuki Yamashita imitated MacArthur by declaring Manila open and retiring to the mountainous north. But Rear Adm. Sanji Iwabuchi refused to follow orders, instead turning Manila into a fortress complete with tunnels and booby traps. Iwabuchi’s elite Special Naval Landing Force marines set parts of the city on fire to slow our advance while targeting the city’s civilian population for indiscriminate slaughter.
Urban combat has not changed much. We relied on firepower to support infantry who had to clear the city block by block. With defeat inevitable, the defenders turned on the civilians with torture, rape, and executions. While MacArthur considered the Filipinos to be his people and sought to spare them, the Japanese considered them as enemies. After the war, Yamashita was hanged for the Manila Massacre as a convicted war criminal.
So, does Hamas consider the people of Gaza City to be its people or enemies? They care nothing for Palestinian lives even though they claim to be fighting for their cause. Hamas takes its orders from Iran, which provides money, training, and weapons as it does for armed groups across the region (in Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen). Hamas is different in one major respect: it is a Sunni organization. Iran is ruled by a Shiite theocracy at war with the Sunni Arab states as well as with the Jewish state of Israel. The Tehran strategists are delighted to use Sunnis as cannon fodder. Iran cares little for the fate of a Sunni Palestine. Its aim is to destroy Israel. Though Iran’s armed Shiite groups are harassing Israel and American bases, it is leaving the heavy fighting to its Sunni pawns who are expendable (whether fighters or civilians). Israel, with its attempts to evacuate the combat zone, is showing more concern for the Palestinian people than Hamas (though like our forces in Manila, they have victory as their first duty).
The Iran-Shiite hatred for Sunni civilians was demonstrated during the Syrian civil war. A majority of Syrians are Sunni but the Assad family are Alawites, who are Shia. When a popular uprising started in 2011 demanding democratic reforms and an end to corruption, Bashar al-Assad responded ruthlessly. The rebel stronghold was in Aleppo, the country’s economic center. With help from Iranian special forces, Hezb’allah, and other militia groups armed by Tehran, the city fell to regime forces in 2016. Civilians had been targeted during the siege, including with the use of chemical weapons. It was a “people’s war” that included everyone. The United Nations called the final days of the siege “a complete meltdown of humanity.” Russia had also intervened with air strikes against the rebels, a campaign that continues to this day. The Russian-Iranian partnership offers mutual support for aggression both in Europe and the Middle East. It was not a coincidence that Russia launched a new offensive in Ukraine the same week Hamas attacked Israel.
Since the dawn of history, cities have been the focus of war because that is where the people are. Capital cities are obvious objectives but so are ports, industrial centers, and transportation hubs. One of the first signs of civilization was when villages built walls for defense. Walls have been superseded by modern cities where concrete and steel offer defense in depth. Sieges have been common since ancient times where starvation and disease are more effective than bombardment. Urban combat and social mobilization have blurred the line between soldier and civilian. The troops on the front line are supported by the civilian economy and reinforced by recruits. Rosie the Riveter is a military asset.
In World War II, the American and British strategic bombing of Germany aimed at destroying the industrial and logistical foundations of Axis military power. This inevitably meant targeting civilians in their role as part of the enemy’s war machine. While the U.S. aimed at factories in daylight raids, the British bombed at night, hitting where the factory workers lived. Residential areas were larger targets for saturation bombing before the development of precision technology. In the decades since, the U.S. and its allies have invested billions to become more precise in hitting military targets, but civilian casualties are inevitable because the sharp line armchair critics claim exists between war and society does not exist in the real world. The fight for cities is the ultimate proof of this.
The first duty of the Israeli government is to protect its own people, which is the duty of all responsible governments. The objective of war is to create a better situation (for the victor) than existed before its outbreak. Eliminating Hamas is both an essential and moral war aim. However, as a civilized people, the Israelis have tried to limit “innocent” civilian casualties. Hamas has counted on this restraint (while showing none itself). It would be a grave blunder for Hamas to be proven correct by turning virtue into a defeat. Israel must liberate Gaza from Hamas just as we liberated Germany from the Nazis by whatever means necessary. Everyone will be better off when this mission is accomplished and peace is secured.

(Richard: When a nation can’t communicate with its citizens/subjects it is doomed. We have been struggling to keep one language for communications for over 100 years and the left has been opposing this idea. Denver public schools bring back the Tower of Babel… but call it ‘language justice’
By Olivia Murray
More often than not I find myself frustrated with the reality that for some, the famous phrase “those who don’t know history are condemned to repeat it” is a really hard concept to grasp. But, there’s finally a silver lining to the extreme level of historical and literary ignorance that permeates today’s culture, and that is… what God did to disrupt and foil the plans of corrupted men, leftists do all by themselves. From an item out today at Just the News.
The Denver school district is among the first in the country to adopt a ‘language justice’ policy as a ‘long term goal.’
What is “language justice” you might ask? Well I’d never heard of the term until today, but since the English language is “oppressive” and “rooted in racism,” the left has led a focused effort that has now been enacted into policy, and the idea is to permit foreign students to forgo learning English, and instead allowing them to retain their native languages in the classroom.
An excerpt from the “equity document” released by the school board defined “language justice” as this:
‘The notion of respecting every individual’s fundamental language rights – to be able to communicate, understand, and be understood in the language in which they prefer and feel most articulate and powerful.’
As the report also notes, of the roughly 90,000 students, around 35,000 are “multilingual learners” with a non-English language home; in those non-English homes, there are “200” other languages spoken.
We tried telling them, all that “diversity is our strength” talk was really just a utopic pipe dream or a wishful sentiment, but nowhere is that more obvious than with language—when people can’t understand each other nobody can communicate effectively—but again, they’d know this if they knew their history and literature. What happened when God “confounded” men and they couldn’t decipher one another’s speech at the Tower of Babel? Well, their grand plans turned into a big ol’ flop.
Now of course we can all identify the massive negatives—the obvious replacement underway of Judeo-Christian Americans with third-world mentality welfare dependents leading to the inevitable decline in a population that contributes; the disintegration of values and things that made America great; the unbelievable cost to the taxpayer who will presumably be on the hook for translators, interpreters, and other “resources” provided—but, there’s always a silver lining, and if leftists want to frustrate their own plans by introducing the inability for its pawns to communicate and understand the game plan, then by all means, go ahead.

(Richard: Israel is once again experimenting with female combat soldiers, the difference this time is that they are sexually segregating the units. This is vital if you want to maintain unit cohesion, when you put healthy young men and healthy young women together nature insures that there will be conflict as they seek potential mates. This conflict destroys unit cohesion, something that they unit must have if it is to be successful in combat.
Another problem is that the men who are fighting women end up considering them just another enemy to kill, we in the West really don’t want our soldiers to develop that attitude towards women.)
VIDEO: Amazing Israeli women saved a community
By Andrea Widburg
When you suddenly get innumerable emails from people wanting you to see the same story, you know it’s an important one. In this case, it’s the story of the young women who, with three tanks, fought a 17-hour-long furious battle against Hamas terrorists, saving an entire community through their actions. Their triumph is an important counterpoint to the women who were ignored in the lead-up to the October 7 attack. Some are blaming sexism, but I have another theory.
The tank battle took place at Yated, a community that sits near the Egyptian and Gaza borders at the southernmost end of the Gaza Strip. This video shows the women explaining how they responded to the attack and what they did. They are matter of fact, saying that they were completely focused on the task at hand, which was to fight the terrorists swarming into Israel:
It’s worth noting that, even as the women are getting the respect they deserve for their impressive military feat, there is a story emerging that part of the reason Israel was caught unprepared was that commanders ignored warnings from female “spotters,” many of whom died on October 7, saying that they saw unusual Hamas activity along the border.
The current narrative is that this failure resulted from command sexism. That’s possible. Israel is the most enlightened country in the Middle East, with full women’s rights and innumerable strong women. Still, many people in Israel are the descendants of the approximately 900,000 Jews expelled from Arab lands after Israel’s creation. Unlike the Zionist Europeans who moved to Israel before and after the modern state’s creation, all of whom were very modern in their attitudes towards women, these emigrants came from conservative countries and might have reflected those values and passed them to their children.
However, to the extent the report originated in Haaretz, a hard-left publication, I take the claim of sexism with a grain of salt.
A more likely cause, in my opinion, for not taking the warnings seriously may have been complacency. After all, the attack was the first major attack since the Yom Kippur War in 1973. As James B. Meigs wrote of the Israelis, it’s possible that “they forgot to be afraid.”
Meigs has spent years studying the events leading up to man-made disasters, and he sees what happened in Israel repeating a familiar pattern, one in which “People working in a hazardous environment notice small signs of trouble, pass those warnings along to their superiors, and then…nothing.” Examples abound, including the Titanic, the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig, and the Challenger.
The nature of the world is disastrous, whether because of natural disasters or because manmade systems fail. Regarding the latter, the big ones in the 1970s (the Challenger, Chernobyl, Three-Mile Island) led sociologists and psychologists to try to figure out why, despite indications that problems were brewing, no one addressed them in time.
It turns out that
[O]rganizations gradually ‘drift into failure’ in the words of disaster theorist Sidney Dekker. During long, accident-free periods, businesses and other institutions tend to reduce manpower and trim safety margins, all in the name of efficiency and focusing on their “core mission.”
Frontline groups get inured to the little things. While you and I might panic over something (as I do whenever an airplane starts bouncing), experienced people will assume it’s normal. Young doctors are taught not to assume worst-case scenarios. “If you hear hoofbeats outside the window, it’s more likely to be a horse than a zebra.” The same is true in jobs that carry high risks.
With that in mind, Meigs writes,
Looking at October 7 through the lens of disaster science reveals how Israel’s military and political leadership developed an overly optimistic mental model of the threats that surrounded them. They forgot to be afraid. Worse, Hamas’s attack planners deeply understood Israel’s weak points and blind spots.
Israel’s drift into failure began long before October 7. Prime Minister Netanyahu and military leaders believed the threat from Hamas was mostly contained. With the Iron Dome missile-defense system in place, they came to see occasional rocket barrages from Gaza much the way NASA viewed booster leaks: as a manageable problem rather than an existential threat. A high-tech fence and automated listening posts had mostly eliminated incursions across the border. With Hamas seemingly quiescent, the IDF was able to reassign most troops from the Gaza frontier to other missions.
Fifty years after the Yom Kippur War, Israel believed it had things under control. What will save Israel is that Israelis have been reminded that they don’t have it under control, that they face an existential threat, that the world is not at their back, and that their citizenry is made up of women like those in the tank crew that saved Yated.

Meet the Iranian-born Biden military aide reportedly under investigation for major influence campaign: ‘Clear and present danger’
[S]itting in the Pentagon with a high-level security clearance is Ariane Tabatabai, the Iranian-born Biden military aide who reportedly is under investigation over an Iranian influence operation whose tentacles reach deep into Washington’s military and diplomatic establishment — and nobody in the government will explain why.
Eyes on Tehran
Not only is Tabatabai the chief-of-staff to the Pentagon’s assistant secretary of defense for special operations, Christopher Maier, but, according to Navy sources, she recently became a US reserve naval intelligence officer.
…Tabatabai would receive access in her reservist intelligence role to such sensitive information as staff rosters and movements of US ships and submarines in the Persian Gulf, all of which is clearly of interest to Iran amid the current Gaza conflict.
“The Navy has been actively training her to be an intelligence officer and giving her access to, not just what she has in her civilian job, but access to all the need-to-know information that a reserve unit has,” says the officer.
“This naval reserve [role] gives her more clearance and access. Everyone she has contact with in the Navy intelligence realm is now potentially outed.”
…
“It’s a clear and present danger in that even if [the investigation] affords her the right to due process, her clearance still should be on hold, and she should not have any access to go into the Pentagon or any other military installation.”
The FBI reportedly has been shut out of the Tabatabai probe, and it is not known which agency is in charge.…
Sources say it highly unusual that the probe has dragged on so long while Tabatabai remains free to access computer systems and enter the Pentagon, despite leaked emails reported by Semafor two months ago showing she was in regular communication with senior Iranian officials and was a protege of suspended Iran special envoy Robert Malley.
Malley, her former State Department colleague, was placed on unpaid leave in June, two months after his security clearance was suspended, pending an FBI investigation into alleged mishandling of classified information, which is in at least its seventh month, with no explanation from the administration, “due to privacy considerations.…”

The Road to a Second Kristallnacht
“This moral shattering did not happen overnight. It was years in the making.”
by SAPIR Editor-in-Chief – Bret Stephens was awarded the World Jewish Congress’s Teddy Kollek Award for the Advancement of Jewish Culture in New York on November 9, 2023… This is an edited transcript of Bret’s remarks.
We are now witnessing, on a daily and even hourly basis, and on a scale only a few of us thought possible just a few years ago, the same kind of moral and logical inversions; the same “heads-I-win, tails-you-lose” sleight-of-hand reasoning; the same denying to Jews the feelings and rights granted to everyone else; the same preparing of the public mind for another open season on the Jews.
You see it everywhere, right here, in front of our noses.
– Israel is told it has a “right” to self-defense?—?and that every conceivable means of self-defense amounts to a war crime.
– Israel is sternly warned not to “re-occupy” Gaza in the wake of the present war?—?even after it was previously accused of continuing to “occupy” Gaza long after it had stopped occupying any part of it in 2005.
– Israel is told not to “blockade” Gaza by depriving it of fuel, electricity, and other goods?—?even after it was accused for years of blockading Gaza when fuel, electricity, and other goods flowed.
– Israel is expected to stop building or to dismantle settlements in the West Bank for the sake of a Palestinian state?—?and then told that the kibbutzim whose members were slaughtered last month were also “settlements.”
– Israel is asked to give Palestinian civilians time to flee Gaza before its military campaign begins?—?and then denounced for creating a “nakba” by forcing Palestinians to flee their homes.
– Israel is told that it must scrupulously abide by the laws of war?—?even as the wanton murder, rape, and kidnapping of Israelis is treated as a legitimate form of “resistance.”
And then there are the absurdities that Americans are supposed to swallow….

Sounds like the BS the leftist controlled media reported during Nam, everything they said was twisted to show the US military was evil and that we were winning the war. Things are looking bad for any type of peaceful way out of the current mess:
Keep you power dry, your musket clean and watch your back. I know you aren’t going to bug out.
Exactly.
It isn’t that I don’t want to bug out. But I can’t. Commitment made long ago.
I haven’t gone to AAI functions since I signed the alumni protest letter. Missed events in November, can’t go to the Christmas party in December. https://www.abigailadamsinstitute.org

Hate Speech
by: Walter E. Block 11/27/2023 Source: uncoverdc.com
Hate Speech
The altercation between Hamas and Israel has roiled many institutions in our society. Let us discuss how it has affected our universities. All too many college administrators are now warning against “hate speech.” They have long done so, of course, but they are stepping up their warnings against this type of free speech when it involves the present Middle East war, anti-Semitism, anti-Arab sentiment, etc.
Here are some messages from the leadership universities in this context. The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has announced “its goal to help support students when they are impacted by hate speech.” “The following examples of expressive activity exceed the limits of free expression and are prohibited at York University: hate speech…” From Wilfred Laurier University: “If students have experienced … hate … in the classroom or in student-advisor interactions, there are avenues at Laurier to address concerns…”
According to the Washington Post: “At colleges, violence in Israel and Gaza ignites a war of words. College campuses have long been staging grounds for debates over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. War has intensified them.” PenAmerica has delivered itself of this statement: “Even short of hate crimes or harassment, manifestly malicious and intimidating speech can impair equal access to the full benefits of a college education and the ability of all students to participate in campus discourse.”
However, “one man’s meat is another man’s poison.” Those who inveigh against “hate speech” are merely fulminating against opinions with which they disagree. Undoubtedly the support for Israel on the part of the present author will be deemed “hateful” to the enemies of this country.
What message, then, instead, should a university president be conveying? He should say something along the following lines. The mission of this university is to get the proverbial one-millionth of an inch closer to the Truth, with a capital T. In order to adhere as closely as possible to that goal, we need diversity: not of race or sex or sexual preference or age or any of the other usual desiderata. Instead, we need a diversity of ideas. It does not matter one whit from whom comes the next intellectual breakthrough. But if we all deduce from the same set of principles, this is less likely. So, let all shades of opinion be heard on campus. Everyone, try to listen to opposing views. If you do not so much as know what they are, you cannot refute them; you can only shut them down, which is the earmark of a street mob, not an institution of higher learning such as ours.
If you want to be a true scholar, worthy of belonging to the academic community, you do not have to be receptive to all opinions; you do not have to accord them any intellectual respect. But you have to, at the very least, know what they are. You cannot achieve this goal if you call them hate speech because you disagree with them and try to get them canceled.
Are there any sort of speech acts that ought to be banned from campus, indeed from our entire society? Yes, there is one. College presidents, thus, should not be absolutists on free speech. The exception? Threats of physical violence. “If you don’t shut up, I will engage in violence against you.” Or, “If you don’t give me your money, I will shoot you.”
Apart from threats of this sort, our university will become a bastion of free speech. If you do not relish this sort of intellectual community, I invite you to enroll elsewhere.
Support for Israel will be seen as “hate speech” by those who favor the Hamas cause. Similarly, support for Hamas will be seen as “hate speech” by those who favor the Israeli position. To ban “hate speech” in ordinary contexts is, of course, not to ban all speech. But in the present context, it comes close, too close for comfort.
This sort of message is all the more important since, typically, the manner in which prohibitions against “hate speech” on campus is and has been conducted is to shut down conservative and libertarian students, faculty, and guest speakers. If there are any occasions on which this cudgel has been employed to the detriment of feminists, communists, socialists, etc., even when their comments verge on actual threats, they must be few indeed.
The Kalven Report rules out the banning of “hate speech”: “cannot take collective action on the issues of the day without endangering the conditions for its existence and effectiveness. There is no mechanism by which it can reach a collective position without inhibiting that full freedom of dissent on which it thrives. It cannot insist that all of its members favor a given view of social policy; if it takes collective action, therefore, it does so at the price of censuring any minority who do not agree with the view adopted. In brief, it is a community which cannot resort to majority vote to reach positions on public issues.

Blah, blah.
Try feeling the spit of enemies screaming in your face. In your own stomping grounds, where no one will defend you.
Where you can’t defend yourself and you’re outnumbered 100-fold.
Then preach freedom of speech.
How many more weeks of blocking highways, streets, intimidating Canadian citizens will Justine “tolerate” this “fringe minority” before he brings out the tear gas, rubber bullets, horses, police in riot gear, kicking people or is that “special treatment” reserved for Canadian patriots?
When the eagles are silent , the parrots begin to jabber.
Yuval Noah Harari Klaus Schwab’s bff likes speaking about the “common people”, who are fully disposable, yes the common people below him are right to be fearful about the future because their lives could end at any moment and it would not be any great loss, because non- globalists are “redundant”.
“We just don’t need a vast majority of you.”
In a future run by smart people, Harari went on to state, common people, will naturally face increased feelings of anxiety and fear about being left behind.
“We just don’t need a vast majority of you”.
OMG, a future run by “smart” people, what will happen to the young global leaders in Canada, Justine, Chrystia, Carney, Guillbeault, Joly……….I can’t imagine the shock when the little clown puppets are told “We just don’t need the vast majority of you”, methinks Canadians will spare no mercy.
They might get some monetary reward considering the financial shape the country is in now, thanks to their stupidity / collaboration in bringing the country down and of course with an election in the offing, one would forecast more reckless spending……….

Joe Biden Claims “MAGA Republicans” Are Proposing Cuts to the Internet (VIDEO)
by Cristina Laila Nov. 27, 2023 3:40 pm122 Comments
Joe Biden on Monday delivered remarks on his administration’s so-called actions to strengthen the supply chains and lower costs for families from the Treaty Room at the White House.
Recent polls reveal Americans say they were better off financially under Trump.
No matter what Joe Biden and his stenographers in the media say, Americans are not happy with ‘Bidenomics.’
Yet Joe Biden was out flapping his gums again on Monday claiming he brought the economy back from the brink after Democrats forcefully shut down businesses during Covid.
“From turkey to air travel to tank of gas, costs went down. They went down!” Biden said.
This is, of course, a lie. Airfare is up more than 20%, Thanksgiving dinner is up more than 25% and gas prices are still higher now than when Biden took office in January 2021.
“Wages for working families have gone up while inflation has come down 65%!” Biden said.
Another lie. Real wages are down over 3% and prices are up more than 17% since January 2021.
Joe Biden then bizarrely claimed, without offering any proof whatsoever that “MAGA Republicans” are “proposing cuts” to “the internet.”
“[MAGA Republicans] still want to undo this progress we’re making. They’re proposing cuts in investments and roads and bridges, the internet, the high-speed internet, the very things that…anyway,” Biden said.

Earth to Democrats: Biden presidency is a dumpster fire. How many warning signs do you need?
Ingrid Jacques, USA TODAY
Perhaps nothing illustrates Joe Biden’s presidency better than a photo his team posted to celebrate his 81st birthday on Monday.
Biden is shown gripping the sides of the table, while a mass of candles (presumably 81 of them) rages on the cake in front of him.
It’s symbolic of how he’s clinging to the hope of winning a second term, regardless of the dumpster fire of his low approval ratings and the dissatisfaction among the American people with his job performance.
And no matter how much Biden and his administration dismiss concerns about his age (or joke about it), voters are worried.

‘Communism Is Not Only Here, It’s Going Mainstream,’ Survivor of Mao’s China Says
Samantha Aschieris / @samantharenck / November 27, 2023
Xi Van Fleet, who lived under the bloody communist rule of Chinese leader Mao Zedong, says the goal of her new book “is to lay out the parallels of the two Cultural Revolutions that I experienced—[the one] 50 years ago and the one I experience with millions of Americans right now, the woke revolution.”
“And I’ve tried to lay out the parallels, to let people see that ‘woke’ is nothing new. It happened before,” says Van Fleet, author of the book “Mao’s America: A Survivor’s Warning.” “What’s going on in America is history repeating.”
Mao, who wrested control of what became the People’s Republic of China in 1949, imposed his violent Cultural Revolution from 1966 until his death in 1976.
“People like me, people [who] lived through the Cultural Revolution, we see through it right away. We know it is the same thing,” Van Fleet says, adding:
Van Fleet joins this episode of “The Daily Signal Podcast” to discuss what it was like growing up in communist China under Mao, her No. 1 takeaway for those who read her book, and an excerpt published by The Daily Caller.

Eat Bugs and Live in a Pod: United Nations to Tell First-World Countries to Limit Meat Consumption in Food’s First ‘Net Zero Plan’
Eat bugs and live in a pod.
The climate change zealots (Communists) are not only coming for your gas-powered vehicles, they want to destroy the cattle and farming industry under the guise of reducing carbon emissions with a ‘net zero plan.’
The United Nations’ Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) is expected to roll out its food guidance for first-world countries in an effort to reduce carbon emissions.
The message to ‘rich’ countries? Consume less meat.
The new food system is expected to be unveiled at the COP28 summit next month in Dubai.
“Nations that over-consume meat will be advised to limit their intake, while developing countries — where under-consumption of meat adds to a prevalent nutrition challenge — will need to improve their livestock farming, according to the FAO.” Bloomberg reported.
Excerpt from Bloomberg:
The globalists and freaks in the left-wing media are trying to convince people to eat bugs.
Eating bugs is degrading and that’s why the elitists are pushing them as a “sustainable” source of protein for the peasants.
The globalists are pushing for commoners to eat bugs, weeds and synthetic ‘meat’ because bugs “consume fewer resources than traditional livestock.”
The World Economic Forum recently promoted the EU’s new plan to use mealworms in food in their bid to reduce meat consumption.
“Livestock around the world is responsible for around 14.5% of all greenhouse gas emissions relating to human activity. The need for land – whether for grazing animals or growing crops to feed animals – is “the single greatest driver of deforestation, with major consequences for biodiversity loss,” the paper says.

(Richard: The French People are feeling betrayed by their government, they have a long history of revolting when pushed too far and are showing they are like their ancestors. Their actions show what history does, vigilante actions occur when organized law enforcement has broken down. The left has been pushing for actions like this for a long time and are finally getting the results they want, the problem for them is the people won’t accept leftist actions to redress their grievances, we are witnessing the “people” moving against the idiots who think they are the elite.)

Murder of French teenager could be society’s ‘tipping point’
Henry Samuel
Mon, November 27, 2023 at 9:02 AM CST·4 min read
The murder of a 16-year-old boy could prove a “tipping point for French society”, Emmanuel Macron’s government warned as civilians were told not to take the law into their own hands.
The stark words from spokesman Olivier Véran came as officials called for calm after armed “paramilitary” activists marched in a suburb where suspects arrested over the killing are thought to live.
The teenager, named only as Thomas, was killed on November 19 at a village dance party in Crépol, south of Lyon. He was stabbed during a brawl that is believed to have broken out when a group of youths, said to be from a nearby housing estate, tried to gatecrash the event. Nine people were wounded, four of them seriously.
Conservative and hard-Right politicians have cast the death as evidence of danger from immigrants and minorities.
During a visit to the village of Crepol on Monday, Mr Véran said that the death of Thomas was “a tragedy that puts us at risk of a tipping-over of our society if we don’t rise to the occasion,” he said.
“It’s up to the judiciary to mete out justice. Not for the French public themselves,” he warned while acknowledging that the death of Thomas was the result of more than a “simple fight at a village dance”.
More than 100 hard-Right activists travelled to the nearby town of Romans-sur-Isere on Saturday looking for a fight with young people from the La Monnaie neighbourhood, police said.
Another hard-Right gathering in Romans was dispersed by police on Sunday.
Thierry Devimeux, the state prefect of the Drôme, said: “They tried to enter the Monnaie district with violence since some of them were wearing helmets, armed with baseball bats, iron bars or firecrackers, mortars,” he added.
With 24 people held in custody since Friday in connection with the events, Laurent de Caigny, the senior prosecutor, insisted “no one can take justice into their own hands outside the law” and urged people to allow investigators to do their work.
“Those who oppose this by illegitimate violence will answer for it,” he added.
The violence echoed the riots in Dublin this week following the stabbing of four people, including three children, by a man who was originally from Algeria but who had Irish citizenship. He had mental health issues.
Nine people have been charged over the Crépol attack for offences including murder and attempted murder. Six of these, including two minors, have been remanded in custody. Although prosecutors have not released the identities of the suspects, Right-wing politicians and newspapers said they were of North African origin.
Prosecutor de Caigny said the violence appeared to have broken out for “petty reasons” rather than being a premeditated attack based on “race, ethnicity, nationality or religion” – perhaps even a passing remark about “somebody’s haircut”.
But prosecutors have added that nine of the 104 witnesses interviewed reported hearing hostile language “about white people” during the fight.
Hard-Right groups have called for revenge and claim this was a premeditated “anti-white” attack by “thugs” of immigrant origin. Left-wing and anti-racism groups branded the hard-Right march a “ratonnade” (rationally-motivated attack) and called on the government to act.
“They claim to defend the nation, they divide it. They are the opposite of the decency and dignity which animated the white march for Thomas and his funeral”, said Left-wing MP François Ruffin of France Unbowed party, pointing the finger at Marine Le Pen’s National Rally and polemist Eric Zemmour’s anti-immigrant Reconquest group.
Amid the hostilities, death threats were daubed on a mosque in Cherbourg in Normandy, while in Paris 13 people were arrested after being caught painting swastikas on the pavement.
The Crepol incident came at a time when France was already on edge, with a surge in anti-Semitic incidents since Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel and the state’s bombing and invasion of the Gaza Strip in response. There have been increasing warnings of “savagery” in France since nationwide riots this summer sparked by the police killing of a teenager descended into widespread looting.
Last month’s killing of a teacher by a Muslim former pupil originally from Russia has also stoked tensions.
